The title hydrated ionic complex, [Ni(CH3COO)(C12H12N2)2]ClO4·H2O or [Ni(ac)(5,5′‐dmbpy)2]ClO4·H2O (where 5,5′‐dmbpy is 5,5′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine and ac is acetate), (1), was isolated as violet crystals from the aqueous ethanolic nickel acetate–5,5′‐dmbpy–KClO4 system. Within the complex cation, the NiII atom is hexacoordinated by two chelating 5,5′‐dmbpy ligands and one chelating ac ligand. The mean Ni—N and Ni—O bond lengths are 2.0628 (17) and 2.1341 (15) Å, respectively. The water solvent molecule is disordered over two partially occupied positions and links two complex cations and two perchlorate anions into hydrogen‐bonded centrosymmetric dimers, which are further connected by π–π interactions. The magnetic properties of (1) at low temperatures are governed by the action of single‐ion anisotropy, D, which arises from the reduced local symmetry of the cis‐NiO2N4 chromophore. The fitting of the variable‐temperature magnetic data (2–300 K) gives giso = 2.134 and D/hc = 3.13 cm−1.  相似文献

A novel dinuclear bismuth(III) coordination compound, [Bi2(C7H3NO4)2(N3)2(C12H8N2)2]·4H2O, has been synthesized by an ionothermal method and characterized by elemental analysis, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, IR, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The molecular structure consists of one centrosymmetric dinuclear neutral fragment and four water molecules. Within the dinuclear fragment, each BiIII centre is seven‐coordinated by three O atoms and four N atoms. The coordination geometry of each BiIII atom is distorted pentagonal–bipyramidal (BiO3N4), with one azide N atom and one bridging carboxylate O atom located in axial positions. The carboxylate O atoms and water molecules are assembled via O—H...O hydrogen bonds, resulting in the formation of a three‐dimensional supramolecular structure. Two types of π–π stacking interactions are found, with centroid‐to‐centroid distances of 3.461 (4) and 3.641 (4) Å.  相似文献

The electrochemical oxidation of anodic nickel in acetonitrile solution containing both (a) a Schiff base HL derived from H-pyrrole-2-carbaldehyde and a substituted aniline, and (b) a nitrogen ligand (1, 10-phenanthroline (phen), 2,2′-bipyridine (bipy) or pyridine (py)) yielded the mixed complexes NiL2 · phen, NiL2 · bipy and NiL2 · (py)2. The crystal structure of 2,2′-bipyridine bis{2-[(phenyl)iminomethyl]pyrrolato}nickel(II) was determined by X ray diffraction. Crystals are triclinic space group P1 , with four molecules in the unit cell of dimensions a = 12.316(1), b = 13.169(4), c = 17.251(3) Å, α = 82.67(3)°, β = 83.66(1)° and γ = 87.34(2)°, and consist of monomeric molecules in which the central NiN6 unit has a distorted octahedral geometry.  相似文献

The photoluminescence characteristics of the [Cd(bipy)3][PF6]2 complex are reported. A moderately large quantum yield (φ) of 1.07 × 10?2 is exhibited in acetonitrile solution at 298 K. Crystallography shows the dication to have a distorted octahedral geometry and the crystal structure to be stabilized by C? H···π and C? H···F interactions. Despite the large number of reported crystalline structures of coordination complexes bearing pyridines as ligands, the relevance of π–π interactions among these hereroaromatic systems in the stabilization of their supramolecular structures and properties is not very well documented in the recent literature. The title compound, [CoCl2(C5H6N2)2], was obtained as bright‐blue crystals suitable for single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis from the reaction of 4‐aminopyridine with cobalt(II) chloride in ethanol. The new complex was fully characterized by a variety of spectroscopic techniques and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure showed a tetrahedral complex stabilized mainly by bidimensional motifs constructed by π–π interactions with large horizontal displacements between the 4‐aminopyridine units, and N—H…Cl hydrogen bonds. Other short contacts, such as C—H…Cl interactions, complete the three‐dimensional arrangement. The supramolecular investigation was extended by statistical studies using the Cambridge Structural Database and a Hirshfeld surface analysis.  相似文献

The molecular structures of trichlorido(2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridine‐κ3N,N′,N′′)gallium(III), [GaCl3(C15H11N3)], and tribromido(2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridine‐κ3N,N′,N′′)gallium(III), [GaBr3(C15H11N3)], are isostructural, with the GaIII atom displaying an octahedral geometry. It is shown that the Ga—N distances in the two complexes are the same within experimental error, in contrast to expected bond lengthening in the bromide complex due to the lower Lewis acidity of GaBr3. Thus, masking of the Lewis acidity trends in the solid state is observed not only for complexes of group 13 metal halides with monodentate ligands but for complexes with the polydentate 2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridine donor as well.  相似文献

4,4′‐Bipyridine‐1,1′‐diium (H2bipy) acetylenedicarboxylate, C10H12N22+·C4O42−, (1), is a new member of a family of related structures with similar unit‐cell parameters. The structures in this family reported previously [Chen et al. (2012). CrystEngComm, 14 , 6400–6403] are (H2bipy)[Cu(ox)2] (ox is oxalate), (2), (H2bipy)[NaH(ox)2], (3), and (H2bipy)[H2(ox)2], (4). Compound (1) has a one‐dimensional structure, in which H2bipy2+ cations and acetylenedicarboxylate (ADC2−) anions are linked through a typical supramolecular synthon, i.e.R22(7), and form linear `–cation–anion–' ribbons. Through an array of nonclassical C—H...O hydrogen bonds, adjacent ribbons interact to give two‐dimensional sheets. These sheets stack to form a layered structure viaπ–π interactions between the H2bipy2+ cations of neighbouring layers. The supramolecular isostructurality of compounds (1)–(4) is ascribed to the synergistic effect of multiple interactions in these structures. The balanced strong and weak intermolecular interactions stabilizing this structure type include strong charge‐assisted N—H...O hydrogen bonds, C—H...O contacts and π–π interactions.  相似文献

The title complex, {[Ni(C15H11N4O2S)2(C10H8N2)(H2O)2]·H2O}n, was synthesized by the reaction of nickel chloride, 4‐{[(1‐phenyl‐1H‐tetrazol‐5‐yl)sulfanyl]methyl}benzoic acid (HL) and 4,4′‐bipyridine (bpy) under hydrothermal conditions. The asymmetric unit contains two half NiII ions, each located on an inversion centre, two L ligands, one bpy ligand, two coordinated water molecules and one unligated water molecule. Each NiII centre is six‐coordinated by two monodentate carboxylate O atoms from two different L ligands, two pyridine N atoms from two different bpy ligands and two terminal water molecules, displaying a nearly ideal octahedral geometry. The NiII ions are bridged by 4,4′‐bipyridine ligands to afford a linear array, with an Ni...Ni separation of 11.361 (1) Å, which is further decorated by two monodentate L ligands trans to each other, resulting in a one‐dimensional fishbone‐like chain structure. These one‐dimensional fishbone‐like chains are further linked by O—H...O, O—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions to form a three‐dimensional supramolecular architecture. The thermal stability of the title complex was investigated via thermogravimetric analysis.  相似文献

The polyfluorinated title compounds, [M Cl2(C16H16F4N2O2)] or [4,4′‐(HCF2CH2OCH2)2‐2,2′‐bpy]M Cl2 [M = Pd, ( 1 ), and M = Pt, ( 2 )], have –C(Hα)2OC(Hβ)2CF2H side chains with H‐atom donors at the α and β sites. The structures of ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) are isomorphous, with the nearly planar (bpy)M Cl2 molecules stacked in columns. Within one column, π‐dimer pairs alternate between a π‐dimer pair reinforced with C—H…Cl hydrogen bonds (α,α) and a π‐dimer pair reinforced with C—Hβ…F(—C) interactions (abbreviated as C—Hβ…F—C,C—Hβ…F—C). The compounds [4,4′‐(CF3CH2OCH2)2‐2,2′‐bpy]M Cl2 [M = Pd, ( 3 ), and M = Pt, ( 4 )] have been reported to be isomorphous [Lu et al. (2012). J. Fluorine Chem. 137 , 54–56], yet with disorder in the fluorous regions. The molecules of ( 3 ) [or ( 4 )] also form similar stacks, but with alternating π‐dimer pairs between the (α,β; α,β) and (β,β) forms. Through (C—)H…Cl hydrogen‐bond interactions, one molecule of ( 1 ) [or ( 2 )] is expanded into an aggregate of two inversion‐related π‐dimer pairs, one pair in the (α,α) form and the other pair in the (C—Hβ…F—C,C—Hβ…F—C) form, with the plane normals making an interplanar angle of 58.24 (3)°. Due to the demands of maintaining a high coordination number around the metal‐bound Cl atoms in molecule ( 1 ) [or ( 2 )], the ponytails of molecule ( 1 ) [or ( 2 )] bend outward; in contrast, the ponytails of molecule ( 3 ) [or ( 4 )] bend inward.  相似文献

The tris‐bidentate complex [Ni(C12H8N2)2(CO3)] was synthesized by the reaction of Na2CO3, 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen = C12H8N2) and NiSO4 · 6 H2O in the presence of succinic acid in a CH3OH–H2O solution. The compound crystallizes as heptahydrate. The crystal structure (monoclinic, P21/c (no. 14), a = 9.897(1), b = 26.384(2), c = 10.582(1) Å, β = 105.87(1)°, Z = 4, R = 0.0505, wR2 = 0.1029 for 3166 observed reflections (F ≥ 2σ(F ) out of 6100 unique reflections) consists of hydrogen bonded water molecules and [Ni(phen)2(CO3)] complex molecules. The Ni atoms are sixfold octahedrally coordinated by the four N atoms of two bidentate chelating phen ligands and by two O atoms of the bidentate chelating carbonate group with d(Ni–N) = 2.092–2.100 Å, d(Ni–O) = 2.051, 2.079 Å. The complex molecules are stacked into 2D corrugated layers parallel to (010) via two types of intermolecular π‐π stacking interactions. One occurs between two quinoline rings of neighboring phen ligands at the distance of 3.63 Å in [010] direction and the other results from 1D π‐π stacking interactions through partially covered phen rings at alternative distances of 3.26 Å and 3.33 Å in [001] direction. The water molecules are sandwiched between 2D layers.  相似文献

A noval cobalt(II) coordination polymer, {[Co(bpmb)(H2O)2(C2H5OH)2]·(NO3)2}‐ (1). where bpmb=N,N′‐bis(3‐pyridylmethyl)‐1,4‐benzenedicarboxamide, was synthesized by self‐assembly of the two topic ligands with cobalt nitrate in ethanol solution, and characterized structurally by X‐ray crystallography analysis. The crystal data belong to triclinic, space group P1 with cell parameters a=0.8911(3) nm, b=0.9042(3) nm, c= 1.0068(3) nm, α= 73.083(5)°, β=81.069(5)°, γ=76.210(5)°, R1=0.0518, wR2=0.0947. The results of structure analysis indicate that each bpmb ligand coordinates two Co(II) atoms and each metal atom is in octahedral coordination geometry with four oxygen atoms of two ethanol and two water molecules, two nitrogen atoms from two different bpmb ligands in trans position forming an infinite 1D chain‐like structure. There BTC hydrogen bonding and π‐π stacking interaction among these chains, leading to supramolecular formation with 3D net structure.  相似文献

Novel 4,4′‐dichloro‐2,2′‐[ethylenedioxybis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol (H2L) and its complexes [CuL] and {[CoL(THF)]2(OAc)2Co} have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1H‐NMR and X‐ray crystallography. [CuL] forms a mononuclear structure which may be stabilized by the intermolecular contacts between copper atom (Cu) and oxygen atom (O3) to form a head‐to‐tail dimer. In {[CoL(THF)]2(OAc)2Co}, two acetates coordinate to three cobalt ions through Co? O? C? O? Co bridges and four µ‐phenoxo oxygen atoms from two [CoL(THF)] units also coordinate to cobalt ions. Polynitrile anions are important in both coordination chemistry and molecular materials chemistry, and are interesting for their extensive electronic delocalization. The title compound crystallizes with two symmetry‐independent half 4,4′‐bipyridine‐1,1′‐diium (bpyH22+) cations and two symmetry‐independent 1,1,3,3‐tetracyano‐2‐ethoxypropenide (tcnoet) anions in the asymmetric unit. One of the bpyH22+ ions is located on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis (canted pyridine rings) and the other is located on a crystallographic inversion center (coplanar pyridine rings). The ethyl group of one of the tcnoet anions is disordered over two sites with equal populations. The extended structure exhibits two separate N—H...NC hydrogen‐bonding motifs, which result in a sheet structure parallel to (010), and weak C—H...NC hydrogen bonds form joined rings. Two types of multicenter CN...π interactions are observed between the bpyH22+ rings and tcnoet anions. An additonal CN...π interaction between adjacent tcnoet anions is observed. Using density functional theory, the calculated attractive energy between cation and anion pairs in the tcnoet...π(bipyridinediium) interactions were found to be 557 and 612 kJ mol−1 for coplanar and canted bpyH22+ cations, respectively.  相似文献

The synthesis and crystal structure of the mononuclear title compound, [Co(C2O4)(C10H8N2)2]·5H2O, is reported. The Co atom is six‐coordinated by two O atoms of a bidentate oxalate group and by four N atoms of two bipyridine ligands. The neutral [Co(C2O4)(C10H8N2)2] entities are connected by π–π stacking interactions of the aromatic systems into a two‐dimensional layer, interconnected through a ladder‐like hydrogen‐bonding pattern of solvate water molecules.  相似文献

Three photoluminescent complexes containing either ZnII or CdII have been synthesized and their structures determined. Bis[4‐amino‐3,5‐bis(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κ2N 1,N 5]bis(dicyanamido‐κN 1)zinc(II), [Zn(C12H10N6)2(C2N3)2], (I), bis[4‐amino‐3,5‐bis(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κ2N 1,N 5]bis(dicyanamido‐κN 1)cadmium(II), [Cd(C12H10N6)2(C2N3)2], (II), and bis[4‐amino‐3,5‐bis(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κ2N 1,N 5]bis(tricyanomethanido‐κN 1)cadmium(II), [Cd(C12H10N6)2(C4N3)2], (III), all crystallize in the space group P , with the metal centres lying on centres of inversion, but neither analogues (I) and (II) nor CdII complexes (II) and (III) are isomorphous. A combination of N—H…N and C—H…N hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions generates three‐dimensional framework structures in (I) and (II), and a sheet structure in (III). The photoluminescence spectra of (I)–(III) indicate that the energies of the π–π* transitions in the coordinated triazole ligand are modified by minor changes of the ligand geometry associated with coordination to the metal centres.  相似文献

With regard to crystal engineering, building block or modular assembly methodologies have shown great success in the design and construction of metal–organic coordination polymers. The critical factor for the construction of coordination polymers is the rational choice of the organic building blocks and the metal centre. The reaction of Zn(OAc)2·2H2O (OAc is acetate) with 3‐nitrobenzoic acid (HNBA) and 4,4′‐bipyridine (4,4′‐bipy) under hydrothermal conditions produced a two‐dimensional zinc(II) supramolecular architecture, catena‐poly[[bis(3‐nitrobenzoato‐κ2O,O′)zinc(II)]‐μ‐4,4′‐bipyridine‐κ2N:N′], [Zn(C7H4NO4)2(C10H8N2)]n or [Zn(NBA)2(4,4′‐bipy)]n, which was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The ZnII ions are connected by the 4,4′‐bipy ligands to form a one‐dimensional zigzag chain and the chains are decorated with anionic NBA ligands which interact further through aromatic π–π stacking interactions, expanding the structure into a threefold interpenetrated two‐dimensional supramolecular architecture. The solid‐state fluorescence analysis indicates a slight blue shift compared with pure 4,4′‐bipyridine and HNBA.  相似文献

The title polymeric complex [Cu(C4H2O4)(C10H8N2)]n·2nH2O was prepared and its crystal structure was determined by X‐ray diffraction methods. The crystal belongs to space group P21/c with cell dimensions of a = 1.0104(1), b = 1.9952(2), c = 0.7357(2) nm, β= 98.38(2)° and Z = 4. The complex forms zig‐zag chains along crystallographic axis c via Cu—O (carboxyl) bond in the apical direction. Each repeated unit consists of a square pyramidal Cu(II) centre with one maleate dianion and one 2,2′‐bipyridine forming a basal plane. Adjacent chains link to each other by H‐bonding between carboxyl groups and crystalline water. The distance of 0.3482 nm between parallel bipyridine rings shows a π‐π stacking interaction. The title complex was also characterized by IR, UV and ESR spectra.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound, [Mn(NO3)(C10H8N2)(H2O)3]NO3, contains a monomeric [Mn(NO3)(bpy)(H2O)3]+ cation (bpy is 2,2′‐bipyridine) and a nitrate anion. The MnII ion is coordinated by one chelating bpy [Mn—N 2.241 (3) and 2.259 (3) Å], three water molecules [Mn—O 2.120 (3)–2.188 (3) Å] and a nitrate ligand [Mn—O 2.228 (2) Å] in a distorted octahedral geometry. There are O?H—O hydrogen‐bonding interactions between the ligated water molecules and the ligated and unligated nitrate anions, resulting in double columns of stacked cations and anions.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Fe(C10H8N2)3](C9H5N4O)2·2H2O, the chiral cations lie across twofold rotation axes in the space group C2/c. The anions and the water molecules are linked by two independent O—H...N hydrogen bonds to form C22(8) chains, and these chains are linked by the cations via C—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds to form two interpenetrating three‐dimensional frameworks, each of which contains only one enantiomeric form of the chiral cation.  相似文献
