In this work, considering the information carried by the membership degree and the non-membership degree in Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) as a vector representation with the two elements, a cosine similarity measure and a weighted cosine similarity measure between IFSs are proposed based on the concept of the cosine similarity measure for fuzzy sets. To demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed cosine similarity measures, the existing similarity measures between IFSs are compared with the cosine similarity measure between IFSs by numerical examples. Finally, the cosine similarity measures are applied to pattern recognition and medical diagnosis.  相似文献

Atanassov (1986) defined the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy set, which is a generalization of the notion of Zadeh’ fuzzy set. In this paper, we first develop some similarity measures of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Then, we define the notions of positive ideal intuitionistic fuzzy set and negative ideal intuitionistic fuzzy set. Finally, we apply the similarity measures to multiple attribute decision making under intuitionistic fuzzy environment.  相似文献

Very hard optimization problems, i.e., problems with a large number of variables and local minima, have been effectively attacked with algorithms which mix local searches with heuristic procedures in order to widely explore the search space. A Population Based Approach based on a Monotonic Basin Hopping optimization algorithm has turned out to be very effective for this kind of problems. In the resulting algorithm, called Population Basin Hopping, a key role is played by a dissimilarity measure. The basic idea is to maintain a sufficient dissimilarity gap among the individuals in the population in order to explore a wide part of the solution space.  相似文献

In this work we present the class of matrix resemblance functions, i.e., functions that measure the difference between two matrices. We present two construction methods and study the properties that matrix resemblance functions satisfy, which suggest that this class of functions is an appropriate tool for comparing images. Hence, we present a comparison method for grayscale images whose result is a new image, which enables to locate the areas where both images are equally similar or dissimilar. Additionally, we propose some applications in which this comparison method can be used, such as defect detection in industrial manufacturing processes and video motion detection and object tracking.  相似文献

A family of fuzzification schemes is proposed that can be used to transform cardinality-based similarity measures for ordinary sets into similarity measures for fuzzy sets in a finite universe. The family is based on rules for fuzzy set cardinality and for the standard operations on fuzzy sets. In particular, the fuzzy set intersections are pointwisely generated by Frank t-norms. The fuzzification schemes are applied to a variety of previously studied rational cardinality-based similarity measures for ordinary sets and it is demonstrated that transitivity is preserved in the fuzzification process.  相似文献

This paper points out three questionable areas in the realm of similarity measures and then provides a new method that will rectify the problem. The purpose of this paper is fourfold. First, we will propose a scenario where the three similarity measures proposed by Hung and Yang (2004) [1] are helpless in aiding a decision maker in deciding pattern recognition problem. Second, we will present our method for solving the dilemma. Third, we will show that our proposed similarity measures satisfy the axioms for well defined similarity measures. Fourth, we will prove that our method could solve pattern recognition problems. Our findings will help researchers handle similarity problems under intuitionistic fuzzy sets environment.  相似文献

Szmidt and Kacprzyk (Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence 3070:388–393, 2004a) introduced a similarity measure, which takes into account not only a pure distance between intuitionistic fuzzy sets but also examines if the compared values are more similar or more dissimilar to each other. By analyzing this similarity measure, we find it somewhat inconvenient in some cases, and thus we develop a new similarity measure between intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Then we apply the developed similarity measure for consensus analysis in group decision making based on intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations, and finally further extend it to the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set theory.  相似文献

In this article, we present an effective encoding of dendrograms by embedding them into the Bruhat-Tits trees associated to p-adic number fields. As an application, we show how strings over a finite alphabet can be encoded in cyclotomic extensions of ℚ p and discuss p-adic DNA encoding. The application leads to fast p-adic agglomerative hierarchic algorithms similar to the ones recently used e.g. by A. Khrennikov and others. From the viewpoint of p-adic geometry, to encode a dendrogram X in a p-adic field K means to fix a set S of K-rational punctures on the p-adic projective line ℙ1. To ℙ1 \ S is associated in a natural way a subtree inside the Bruhat-Tits tree which recovers X, a method first used by F. Kato in 1999 in the classification of discrete subgroups of PGL2(K). Next, we show how the p-adic moduli space of ℙ1 with n punctures can be applied to the study of time series of dendrograms and those symmetries arising from hyperbolic actions on ℙ1. In this way, we can associate to certain classes of dynamical systems a Mumford curve, i.e. a p-adic algebraic curve with totally degenerate reduction modulo p. Finally, we indicate some of our results in the study of general discrete actions on ℙ1, and their relation to p-adic Hurwitz spaces. The text was submitted by the author in English.  相似文献

We characterize Carleson measures for N α p , defined to be those measures μ for which N α p N p (μ). As an application, we show that the spaces N α p are closed under both differentiation and integration. This is in contrast to the classical Nevanlinna space, defined by integration on circles centered at the origin, which is closed under neither. In this paper, we propose a framework of risk measures for portfolio vectors, which is an extension of the ones introduced by Burgert and Rüschendorf (2006) and Rüschendorf (2013). Based on these equalities, real matrix representations of commutative quaternions and their matrices have been derived, and their algebraic properties and fundamental equations have been determined. In this paper, we establish some maximal inequalities for demimartingales which generalize and improve the results of Christofides. The maximal inequalities for demimartingales are used as key inequalities to establish other results including Doob’s type maximal inequality for demimartingales, strong laws of large numbers and growth rate for demimartingales and associated random variables. At last, we give an equivalent condition of uniform integrability for demisubmartingales.  相似文献
