Some method is proposed for finding Ein components in moduli spaces of stable rank 2 vector bundles with first Chern class c1 = 0 on the projective 3-space. We formulate and illustrate a conjecture on the growth rate of the number of Ein components in dependence on the numbers of the second Chern class. We present a method for calculating the spectra of the above bundles, a recurrent formula, and an explicit formula for computing the number of the spectra of these bundles.  相似文献

Let be a ruled Fano 3-fold. The goal of this paper is to compute the dimension, prove the irreducibility and smoothness and describe the structure of the moduli space M L (2;c 1,c 2) of L-stable, rank 2 vector bundles E on X with certain Chern classes and for a suitable polarization L closely related to c 2. More precisely, we will cover the study of some moduli spaces M L (2;c 1,c 2) such that the generic point is given as a non-trivial extension of line bundles. This work nicely reflects the general philosophy that moduli spaces inherits a lot of geometrical properties of the underlying variety. We investigate the jumping conics of stable vector bundles E of rank 2 on a smooth quadric surface Q with the first Chern class c1 = OQ(-1,-1){c_1= \mathcal{O}_Q(-1,-1)} with respect to the ample line bundle OQ(1,1){\mathcal {O}_Q(1,1)} . We show that the set of jumping conics of E is a hypersurface of degree c 2(E) − 1 in \mathbb P3*{\mathbb {P}_3^{*}} . Using these hypersurfaces, we describe moduli spaces of stable vector bundles of rank 2 on Q in the cases of lower c 2(E).  相似文献

In this work, using elementary transformations and prioritary sheaves, we establish birational maps between certain moduli spaces of stable vector bundles over 2 with the same rank and different Chern classes. As an application we give a simple proof of the rationality of the moduli spaces M(r; c 1, c 2) of rank r stable vector bundles over 2 with given Chern classes for a huge families of the triples (r; c 1, c 2).Partially supported by BFM2001-3584 Mathematics Subject Classification (2000):Primary 14D20, 14D05; Secondary 14F05  相似文献

Let (S, H) be a polarized K3 surface. We define Brill-Noether filtration on moduli spaces of vector bundles on S. Assume that (c 1(E), H) > 0 for a sheaf E in the moduli space. We give a formula for the expected dimension of the Brill-Noether subschemes. Following the classical theory for curves, we give a notion of Brill-Noether generic K3 surfaces.  相似文献

For smooth projective varietiesX over ℂ, the Hodge Conjecture states that every rational Cohomology class of type (p, p) comes from an algebraic cycle. In this paper, we prove the Hodge conjecture for some moduli spaces of vector bundles on compact Riemann surfaces of genus 2 and 3.  相似文献

One classifies the globally generated vector bundles on with the first Chern class c1 = 3. The case c1 = 1 is very easy, the case c1 = 2 was done in [42], the case c1 = 3, rank =2 was settled in [21] and the case c1 ≤ 5, rank = 2 in [10]. Our work is based on Serre's theorem relating vector bundles of rank = 2 with codimension 2 lci subschemes and its generalization for higher ranks, considered firstly by Vogelaar in [48].  相似文献

Let X be a smooth projective curve of genus g ≥ 2 over the complex numbers. A holomorphic triple on X consists of two holomorphic vector bundles E 1 and E 2 over X and a holomorphic map . There is a concept of stability for triples which depends on a real parameter σ. In this paper, we determine the Hodge polynomials of the moduli spaces of σ-stable triples with rk(E 1) = 3, rk(E 2) = 1, using the theory of mixed Hodge structures. This gives in particular the Poincaré polynomials of these moduli spaces. As a byproduct, we recover the Hodge polynomial of the moduli space of odd degree rank 3 stable vector bundles.   相似文献

In this paper we prove that the moduli spaces of framed vector bundles over a surface X, satisfying certain conditions, admit a family of Poisson structures parametrized by the global sections of a certain line bundle on X. This generalizes to the case of framed vector bundles previous results obtained in [B2] for the moduli space of vector bundles over a Poisson surface. As a corollary of this result we prove that the moduli spaces of framed SU(r) – instantons on S4 = ℝ4 ∪ {∞} admit a natural holomorphic symplectic structure.  相似文献

Here we study the real locus (i.e. the fixed locus by the conjugation) of a few moduli spaces (defined overR) of complex objects (essentially moduli spaces of surfaces of general type or of vector bundles on curves andP 2).  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to compute the Betti numbers of the moduli space ofparabolic vector bundles on a curve (see Seshadri [7], [8] and Mehta & Seshadri [4]), in the case where every semi-stable parabolic bundle is necessarily stable. We do this by generalizing the method of Atiyah and Bott [1] in the case of moduli of ordinary vector bundles. Recall that (see Seshadri [7]) the underlying topological space of the moduli of parabolic vector bundles is the space of equivalence classes of certain unitary representations of a discrete subgroup Γ which is a lattice in PSL (2,R). (The lattice Γ need not necessarily be co-compact). While the structure of the proof is essentially the same as that of Atiyah and Bott, there are some difficulties of a technical nature in the parabolic case. For instance the Harder-Narasimhan stratification has to be further refined in order to get the connected strata. These connected strata turn out to have different codimensions even when they are part of the same Harder-Narasimhan strata. If in addition to ‘stable = semistable’ the rank and degree are coprime, then the moduli space turns out to be torsion-free in its cohomology. The arrangement of the paper is as follows. In § 1 we prove the necessary basic results about algebraic families of parabolic bundles. These are generalizations of the corresponding results proved by Shatz [9]. Following this, in § 2 we generalize the analytical part of the argument of Atiyah and Bott (§ 14 of [1]). Finally in § 3 we show how to obtain an inductive formula for the Betti numbers of the moduli space. We illustrate our method by computing explicitly the Betti numbers in the special case of rank = 2, and one parabolic point.  相似文献

We define complexes of vector bundles on products of moduli spaces of framed rank r torsion-free sheaves on \mathbbP2{\mathbb{P}^2} . The top non-vanishing equivariant Chern classes of the cohomology of these complexes yield actions of the r-colored Heisenberg and Clifford algebras on the equivariant cohomology of the moduli spaces. In this way we obtain a geometric realization of the boson-fermion correspondence and related vertex operators.  相似文献

We study moduli of vector bundles on a two-dimensional neighbourhood Z k of an irreducible curve ? ? ?1 with ?2 = ?k and give an explicit construction of their moduli stacks. For the case of instanton bundles, we stratify the stacks and construct moduli spaces. We give sharp bounds for the local holomorphic Euler characteristic of bundles on Z k and prove existence of families of bundles with prescribed numerical invariants. Our numerical calculations are performed using a Macaulay 2 algorithm, which is available for download at http://www.maths.ed.ac.uk/~s0571100/Instanton/.  相似文献

A compact topological surface S, possibly non-orientable and with non-empty boundary, always admits a Klein surface structure (an atlas whose transition maps are dianalytic). Its complex cover is, by definition, a compact Riemann surface M endowed with an anti-holomorphic involution which determines topologically the original surface S. In this paper, we compare dianalytic vector bundles over S and holomorphic vector bundles over M, devoting special attention to the implications that this has for moduli varieties of semistable vector bundles over M. We construct, starting from S, totally real, totally geodesic, Lagrangian submanifolds of moduli varieties of semistable vector bundles of fixed rank and degree over M. This relates the present work to the constructions of Ho and Liu over non-orientable compact surfaces with empty boundary (Ho and Liu in Commun Anal Geom 16(3):617–679, 2008).  相似文献

Several classification results for ample vector bundles of rank 2 on Hirzebruch surfaces, and on Del Pezzo surfaces, are obtained. In particular, we classify rank 2 ample vector bundles with c2 less than seven on Hirzebruch surfaces, and with c2 less than four on Del Pezzo surfaces.  相似文献

A new irreducible component of the Gieseker–Maruyama moduli scheme M(3) of semistable coherent sheaves of rank 2 with Chern classes c1 = 0, c2 = 3, and c3 = 0 on P3 such that its general point corresponds to a sheaf whose singular locus contains components of dimensions 0 and 1 is described. These sheaves are obtained by elementary transformations of stable reflexive sheaves of rank 2 with Chern classes c1 = 0, c2 = 2, and c3 = 2 along the projective line. The constructed family of sheaves is the first example of an irreducible component of a Gieseker–Maruyama scheme whose general point corresponds to a sheaf with singularities of mixed dimension.

Let ƒ:MDC n be a holomorphic family of compact, complex surfaces, which is locally trivial onD∖Z, for an analytic subsetZ. Conditions are found under which ƒ extends trivially toD, if the fibers of ƒ|D∖Z are either Hirzebruch surfaces (projective bundles overP 1), Hopf surfaces (elliptic bundles overP 1), hyperelliptic bundles, or any compact complex surface having one of these as minimal model under blowing-down. The results of this paper are motivated by the existence of non-Hausdorff moduli spaces in the deformation of complex structure for certain complex manifolds.  相似文献
