Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, and let N be a non-zero finitely generated R-module. The purpose of this paper is to show that N is locally unmixed if and only if, for any N-proper ideal I of R generated by ht N I elements, the topology defined by (I N)(n), n ≥ 0, is linearly equivalent to the I-adic topology.  相似文献

Let C be a smooth (irreducible) curve of degree d in ?2. Let ?2 ? ?5 be the Veronese embedding and let I C denote the homogeneous ideal of C on ?5. In this note we explicitly write down the minimal free resolution of I C for d ≥ 2.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new family of period integrals attached to irreducible cuspidal automorphic representations σ of symplectic groups Sp2n(A), which detects the right-most pole of the L-function L(s, σ × χ) for some character χ of F×A × of order at most 2, and hence the occurrence of a simple global Arthur parameter (χ, b) in the global Arthur parameter ψ attached to σ. We also give a characterisation of first occurrences of theta correspondence by (regularised) period integrals of residues of certain Eisenstein series.  相似文献

Let L, N and M be positive definite integral \({\mathbb{Z}}\) -lattices. In this paper, we show some relation between the weighted sum of representations of L and N by gen(M) and the weighted sum of extensions of \(\tilde M_{\tilde \sigma}\) in the gen(M σ) via N η when M is even and gcd(dL, dM) =  1. As a consequence of the particular case when M is even unimodular, we recapture the Böcherer formula (13) in (Böcherer, Maths Z 183:21–46, 1983) for the relation of the Fourier coefficients between Eisenstein series and Jacobi–Eisenstein series.  相似文献

Let Δ be a pure simplicial complex on the vertex set [n] = {1,..., n} and I Δ its Stanley-Reisner ideal in the polynomial ring S = K[x 1,..., x n]. We show that Δ is a matroid (complete intersection) if and only if S/I Δ (m) (S/I Δ (m)) is clean for all m ∈ N and this is equivalent to saying that S/I Δ (m) (S/I Δ (m), respectively) is Cohen-Macaulay for all m ∈ N. By this result, we show that there exists a monomial ideal I with (pretty) cleanness property while S/I m or S/I m is not (pretty) clean for all integer m ≥ 3. If dim(Δ) = 1, we also prove that S/I Δ (2) Δ (S/I Δ 2) is clean if and only if S/I Δ (2) (S/I Δ 2, respectively) is Cohen-Macaulay.  相似文献

Let R and S be associative rings and S V R a semidualizing (S-R)-bimodule. An R-module N is said to be V-Gorenstein injective if there exists a Hom R (I V (R),?) and Hom R (?,I V (R)) exact exact complex \( \cdots \to {I_1}\xrightarrow{{{d_0}}}{I_0} \to {I^0}\xrightarrow{{{d_0}}}{I^1} \to \cdots \) of V-injective modules I i and I i , i ∈ N0, such that N ? Im(I 0I 0). We will call N to be strongly V-Gorenstein injective in case that all modules and homomorphisms in the above exact complex are equal, respectively. It is proved that the class of V-Gorenstein injective modules are closed under extension, direct summand and is a subset of the Auslander class A V (R) which leads to the fact that V-Gorenstein injective modules admit exact right I V (R)-resolution. By using these facts, and thinking of the fact that the class of strongly V-Gorenstein injective modules is not closed under direct summand, it is proved that an R-module N is strongly V-Gorenstein injective if and only if NE is strongly V-Gorenstein injective for some V-injective module E. Finally, it is proved that an R-module N of finite V-Gorenstein injective injective dimension admits V-Gorenstein injective preenvelope which leads to the fact that, for a natural integer n, Gorenstein V-injective injective dimension of N is bounded to n if and only if \(Ext_{{I_V}\left( R \right)}^{ \geqslant n + 1}\left( {I,N} \right) = 0\) for all modules I with finite I V (R)-injective dimension.  相似文献

Let (R,m) be a commutative Noetherian regular local ring of dimension d and I be a proper ideal of R such that mAss R (R/I) = Assh R (I). It is shown that the R- module Hht(I) I (R) is I-cofinite if and only if cd(I,R) = ht(I). Also we present a sufficient condition under which this condition the R-module H i I (R) is finitely generated if and only if it vanishes.  相似文献

In this work, we deal with hyperbolic Eisenstein series and more particularly, given a degenerating family S l (l ≥ 0) of Riemann Surfaces with their canonical hyperbolic metrics, we work out the degeneration of hyperbolic Eisenstein series associated to the pinching geodesics in S l . Our principal results are theorems 2.2, 4.1 et 4.2.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a new definition for the space of non-holomorphic Jacobi Maaß forms (denoted by J k,m nh ) of weight k∈? and index m∈? as eigenfunctions of a degree three differential operator \(\mathcal{C}^{k,m}\). We show that the three main examples of Jacobi forms known in the literature: holomorphic, skew-holomorphic and real-analytic Eisenstein series, are contained in J k,m nh . We construct new examples of cuspidal Jacobi Maaß forms F f of weight k∈2? and index 1 from weight k?1/2 Maaß forms f with respect to Γ0(4) and show that the map f ? F f is Hecke equivariant. We also show that the above map is compatible with the well-known representation theory of the Jacobi group. In addition, we show that all of J k,m nh can be “essentially” obtained from scalar or vector valued half integer weight Maaß forms.  相似文献

Let R be a commutative ring with 1 ≠ 0 and U(R) be the set of all unit elements of R. Let m, n be positive integers such that m > n. In this article, we study a generalization of n-absorbing ideals. A proper ideal I of R is called an (m, n)-absorbing ideal if whenever a 1?a m I for a 1,…, a m R?U(R), then there are n of the a i ’s whose product is in I. We investigate the stability of (m, n)-absorbing ideals with respect to various ring theoretic constructions and study (m, n)-absorbing ideals in several commutative rings. For example, in a Bézout ring or a Boolean ring, an ideal is an (m, n)-absorbing ideal if and only if it is an n-absorbing ideal, and in an almost Dedekind domain every (m, n)-absorbing ideal is a product of at most m ? 1 maximal ideals.  相似文献

For an ideal I??[x] given by a set of generators, a new semidefinite characterization of its real radical I(V ?(I)) is presented, provided it is zero-dimensional (even if I is not). Moreover, we propose an algorithm using numerical linear algebra and semidefinite optimization techniques, to compute all (finitely many) points of the real variety V ?(I) as well as a set of generators of the real radical ideal. The latter is obtained in the form of a border or Gröbner basis. The algorithm is based on moment relaxations and, in contrast to other existing methods, it exploits the real algebraic nature of the problem right from the beginning and avoids the computation of complex components.  相似文献

Consider a closed convex cone C in a Banach ideal space X on some measure space with σ-finite measure. We prove that the fulfilment of the conditions CX + = {0} and C??X + guarantees the existence of a strictly positive continuous functional on X whose restriction to C is nonpositive.  相似文献

When assessing risks on a finite-time horizon, the problem can often be reduced to the study of a random sequence C(N) = (C 1,…,C N ) of random length N, where C(N) comes from the product of a matrix A(N) of random size N × N and a random sequence X(N) of random length N. Our aim is to build a regular variation framework for such random sequences of random length, to study their spectral properties and, subsequently, to develop risk measures. In several applications, many risk indicators can be expressed from the extremal behavior of ∥C(N)∥, for some norm ∥?∥. We propose a generalization of Breiman’s Lemma that gives way to a tail estimate of ∥C(N)∥ and provides risk indicators such as the ruin probability and the tail index for Shot Noise Processes on a finite-time horizon. Lastly, we apply our main result to a model used in dietary risk assessment and in non-life insurance mathematics to illustrate the applicability of our method.  相似文献

Let (A,Λ) be a formring such that A is quasi-finite R-algebra (i.e., a direct limit of module finite algebras) with identity. We consider the hyperbolic Bak’s unitary groups GU(2n, A, Λ), n ≥ 3. For a form ideal (I, Γ) of the form ring (A, Λ) we denote by EU(2n, I, Γ) and GU(2n, I, Γ) the relative elementary group and the principal congruence subgroup of level (I, Γ), respectively. Now, let (I i , Γ i ), i = 0,...,m, be form ideals of the form ring (A, Λ). The main result of the present paper is the following multiple commutator formula: [EU(2n, I 0, Γ 0),GU(2n, I 1, Γ 1), GU(2n, I 2, Γ 2),..., GU(2n, I m , Γ m )] =[EU(2n, I 0, Γ 0), EU(2n, I 1, Γ 1), EU(2n, I 2, Γ 2),..., EU(2n, I m , Γ m )], which is a broad generalization of the standard commutator formulas. This result contains all previous results on commutator formulas for classicallike groups over commutative and finite-dimensional rings.  相似文献

Given a three-dimensional dynamical system on the interval t 0 < t < +∞, the transition from the neighborhood of an unstable equilibrium to a stable limit cycle is studied. In the neighbor-hood of the equilibrium, the system is reduced to a normal form. The matrix of the linearized system is assumed to have a complex eigenvalue λ = ? + iβ, with β ? ? > 0 and a real eigenvalue with δ < 0 with |δ| ? ?. On the arbitrary interval [t 0, +∞), an approximate solution is sought as a polynomial P N (?) in powers of the small parameter with coefficients from Hölder function spaces. It is proved that there exist ? N and C N depending on the initial data such that, for 0 < ? < ? N , the difference between the exact and approximate solutions does not exceed C N ? N+1.  相似文献

Let π and π′ be unitary automorphic cuspidal representations of GL_n(A_E) and GL_m(A_F), and let E and F be solvable Galois extensions of Q of degrees ? and ?′, respectively. Using the fact that the automorphic induction and base change maps exist for E and F, and assuming an invariance condition under the actions of the Galois groups, we attach to the pair(π, π′) a Rankin-Selberg L-function L(s, π×E,Fπ′) for which we prove a prime number theorem. This gives a method for comparing two representations that could be defined over completely different extensions, and the main results give a measure of how many cuspidal components the two representations π and π′ have in common when automorphically induced down to the rational numbers. The proof uses the structure of the Galois group of the composite extension EF and the character groups attached to the fields via class field theory. The second main theorem also gives an indication of when the base change of π up to the composite extension EF remains cuspidal.  相似文献

For every algebraically closed field k of characteristic different from 2, we prove the following: (1) Finite-dimensional (not necessarily associative) k-algebras of general type of a fixed dimension, considered up to isomorphism, are parametrized by the values of a tuple of algebraically independent (over k) rational functions of the structure constants. (2) There exists an “algebraic normal form” to which the set of structure constants of every such algebra can be uniquely transformed by means of passing to its new basis—namely, there are two finite systems of nonconstant polynomials on the space of structure constants, {fi}i∈I and {bj}j∈J, such that the ideal generated by the set {fi}i∈I is prime and, for every tuple c of structure constants satisfying the property bj(c) ≠ 0 for all jJ, there exists a unique new basis of this algebra in which the tuple c′ of its structure constants satisfies the property fi(c′) = 0 for all iI.  相似文献

Let S = K[x1; x2;...; xn] be the polynomial ring in n variables over a field K; and let I be a squarefree monomial ideal minimally generated by the monomials u1; u2;...; um: Let w be the smallest number t with the property that for all integers 1 6 i1 < i2 <... < i t 6 m such that \(lcm({u_{{i_1}}},{u_{{i_2}}},...,{u_{{i_t}}}) = lcm({u_1},{u_2},...,{u_m})\) We give an upper bound for Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of I by the bigsize of I: As a corollary, the projective dimension of I is bounded by the number w.  相似文献

Let φ be an N-function. Then the normal structure coefficients N and the weakly convergent sequence coefficients WCS of the Orlicz function spaces L φ[0, 1] generated by φ and equipped with the Luxemburg and Orlicz norms have the following exact values. (i) If F φ(t) = t ?(t)/φ(t) is decreasing and 1 < C φ < 2 (where \(C_\Phi = \lim _{t \to + \infty } t\varphi (t)/\Phi (t)\)), then N(L (φ)[0, 1]) = N(L φ[0, 1]) = WCS(L (φ)[0, 1]) = WCS(L φ[0, 1]) = 21?1/Cφ. (ii) If F φ(t) is increasing and C φ > 2, then N(L (φ)[0, 1]) = N(L φ[0, 1]) = WCS(L (φ)[0, 1]) = WCS(L φ[0, 1]) = 21/Cφ.  相似文献

Let \(\mathcal{N}\) denote the class of nilpotent Lie algebras. For any finite-dimensional Lie algebra L over an arbitrary field \(\mathbb{F}\), there exists a smallest ideal I of L such that L/I\(\mathcal{N}\). This uniquely determined ideal of L is called the nilpotent residual of L and is denoted by L\(\mathcal{N}\). In this paper, we define the subalgebra S(L) = ∩HLIL(H\(\mathcal{N}\)). Set S0(L) = 0. Define Si+1(L)/Si(L) = S(L/Si(L)) for i > 1. By S(L) denote the terminal term of the ascending series. It is proved that L = S(L) if and only if L\(\mathcal{N}\) is nilpotent. In addition, we investigate the basic properties of a Lie algebra L with S(L) = L.  相似文献
