This paper considers an SIRS epidemic model that incorporates constant immigration rate, a general population-size dependent contact rate and proportional transfer rate from the infective class to susceptible class. A threshold parameter a is identified. If σ≤1, the disease-free equilibrium is globally stable. If σ>1, a unique endemic equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable. For two important special cases of mass action incidence and standard incidence,global stability of the endemic equilibrium is proved provided the threshold is larger than unity. Some previous results are extended and improved.  相似文献

This paper considers an SEIS epidemic model with infectious force in the latent period and a general population-size dependent contact rate. A threshold parameter R is identified. If R≤1, the disease-free equilibrium O is globally stable. If R〉1, there is a unique endemic equilibrium and O is unstable. For two important special cases of bilinear and standard incidence ,sufficient conditions for the global stability of this endemic equilibrium are given. The same qualitative results are obtained provided the threshold is more than unity for the corresponding SEIS model with no infectious force in the latent period. Saturating contact rate of individual contacts is crucial in an epidemiology model.A mathematical SIR model with saturation incidence and age of infec- tion is formulated in this paper.In addition,we study the dynamical behavior of this model and define the basic reproductive number R_0.The authors also prove that the diseased-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable if R_0<1. We study the stability of endemic equilibriums of the deterministic and stochastic SIS epidemic models with vaccination. The deterministic SIS epidemic model with vaccination was proposed by Li and Ma(2004), for which some sufficient conditions for the global stability of the endemic equilibrium were given in some earlier works. In this paper, we first prove by Lyapunov function method that the endemic equilibrium of the deterministic model is globally asymptotically stable whenever the basic reproduction number is larger than one. For the stochastic version, we obtain some sufficient conditions for the global stability of the endemic equilibrium by constructing a class of different Lyapunov functions.  相似文献

Considering the comprehensive impact of vaccination, quarantine and spatial heterogeneity on diseases dynamics, this paper formulates an SVEQIRV model with degenerate diffusion. Firstly, we discuss the well-posedness of the model solution. Then, we analyze the dynamic properties of model by using the semigroup theory and the global exponential attractor theory. We use the threshold feature λ? which is the principal eigenvalue of the eigenvalue problem associated with the linearized system at the disease free equilibrium, to describe the transmission dynamics of epidemics. The results show that the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable when λ? < 0 and the system is uniformly persistent when λ? > 0. Finally, some numerical simulations and the sensitivity analysis are conducted to visualize the theoretical results and the effect of vaccination rate on disease dynamics.  相似文献

An SIS epidemic model with a simple vaccination is investigated in this article. The efficiency of vaccine, the disease-related death rate and population dynamics are also considered in this model. The authors find two threshold R0 and Rc (Rc may not exist). There is a unique endemic equilibrium for R0 > 1 or Rc = R0; there are two endemic equilibria for Rc < R0 < 1; and there is no endemic equilibrium for R0 < Rc < 1. When Rc exists, there is a backward bifurcation from the disease-free equilibrium for R0 = 1. They analyze the stability of equilibria and obtain the globally dynamic behaviors of the model. The results acquired in this article show that an accurate estimation of the efficiency of vaccine is necessary to prevent and controll the spread of disease.  相似文献

This paper considers two differential infectivity(DI) epidemic models with a nonlinear incidence rate and constant or varying population size. The models exhibits two equilibria, namely., a disease-free equilibrium O and a unique endemic equilibrium. If the basic reproductive number σ is below unity,O is globally stable and the disease always dies out. If σ〉1, O is unstable and the sufficient conditions for global stability of endemic equilibrium are derived. Moreover,when σ〈 1 ,the local or global asymptotical stability of endemic equilibrium for DI model with constant population size in n-dimensional or two-dimensional space is obtained.  相似文献

We study a proposed model describing the propagation of computer virus in the network with antidote in vulnerable system. Mathematical analysis shows that dynamics of the spread of computer viruses is determined by the threshold R_0. If R_0 ≤ 1, the virusfree equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and if R_0 1, the endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. Lyapunov functional method as well as geometric approach are used for proving the global stability of equilibria. A numerical investigation is carried out to confirm the analytical results. Through parameter analysis, some effective strategies for eliminating viruses are suggested.  相似文献

This paper investigates the global stability of a viral infection model with lytic immune response. If the basic reproductive ratio of the virus is less than or equal to one, by the LaSalle's invariance principle, the disease-free steady state is globally asymptotically stable. If the basic reproductive ratio of the virus is greater than one but less than or equal to a constant, which is defined by the parameters of the model, then the immune-exhausted steady state is globally asymptotically stable. An estimator of the number of components of a finite mixture ofk-dimensional distributions is given on the basis of a one-dimensional independent random sample obtained by a transformation of ak-dimensional independent random sample. 在实际的指派工作中,常会遇到某个人有没有资格去承担某项工作的问题,因此,本建立了有资格限制的指派问题的数学模型。在此数学模型中,将效益矩阵转化为判定矩阵,由此给出了判定此种指派问题是否有解的方法;在有解的情况下,进一步将效益矩阵转化为求解矩阵,从而将有资格限制的指派问题化为传统的指派问题来求解。最后给出了一个数值例子来说明这样的处理方法是有效的。  相似文献

It is a well-known result of M. Brodmann that if is an ideal of a commutative Noetherian ring , then the set of associated primes of the -th power of is constant for all large . This paper is concerned with the following question: given a prime ideal of which is known to be in for all large integers , can one identify a term of the sequence beyond which will subsequently be an ever-present? This paper presents some results about convergence of sequences of sets of associated primes of graded components of finitely generated graded modules over a standard positively graded commutative Noetherian ring; those results are then applied to the above question.
