Reactions of (Et(2)N)(2)P-P(SiMe(3))Li with [Cp(2)MCl(2)] (M = Zr, Hf) in toluene or pentane yield the related terminal phosphanylphosphido complexes [Cp(2)M(Cl){η(1)-(Me(3)Si)P-P(NEt(2))(2)}]. The solid state structure of [Cp(2)Hf(Cl){η(1)-(Me(3)Si)P-P(NEt(2))(2)}] was established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The reaction of (Et(2)N)(2)P-P(SiMe(3))Li with [Cp(2)ZrCl(2)] in THF or DME solutions leads to the formation of deep red crystals of the first neutral diamagnetic zirconocene-phosphanylphosphinidene dimer [Cp(2)Zr{μ(2)-P-P(NEt(2))(2)}(2)ZrCp(2)]. The molecular structure of this compound was confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The reactions of (R(2)N)(2)P-P(SiMe(3))Li with [CpZrCl(3)] yield the related tetraphosphetanes R(2)NP(μ(2)-PSiMe(3))(2)PNR(2), which apparently are formed as a result of a transfer of NR(2) groups from a P atom to the Zr atom.  相似文献

In reactions of zirconocene dichloride, Cp(2)ZrCl(2), with 1 equiv and an excess amount of LiBH(3)CH(3), the methyltrihydroborate complexes, Cp(2)ZrCl[(mu-H)(2)BHCH(3)], 1, and Cp(2)Zr[(mu-H)(2)BHCH(3)](2), 2, were isolated. The reaction of titanocene dichloride, Cp(2)TiCl(2), with an excess amount of LiBH(3)CH(3) produced the monosubstituted methyltrihydroborate complex, Cp(2)Ti[(mu-H)(2)BHCH(3)], 3. The titanium was reduced from Ti(IV) to Ti(III), producing a 17-electron, paramagnetic titanocene complex. Under a dynamic vacuum at room temperature, compound 2 decomposed and produced the zirconium hydride compound Cp(2)ZrH[(mu-H)(2)BHCH(3)]. Single crystal X-ray structures of 1, 2, and 3 were determined. Crystal data for 1: space group P2(1)/c, a = 13.7921(3) A, b = 13.4227(3) A, c = 13.0868(3) A, beta = 91.6448(12) degrees, Z = 8. Crystal data for 2: space group Pna2(1), a = 15.2949(4) A, b = 9.3417(2) A, c = 9.3211(2) A, Z = 4. Crystal data for 3: space group Fmm2, a = 9.1795(3) A, b = 13.0993(5) A, c = 8.8520(3) A, Z = 4.  相似文献

The zirconocene-complexed dibismuthene, Cp2Zr(BiR)2 (Cp = C5H5; R = C6H3-2,6-Mes2), was prepared by the reaction of sodium metal with Cp2ZrCl2 and RBiCl2. The air- and moisture-sensitive dark reddish/brown compound is the first organometallic compound containing Bi-Zr bonds and the only example of a ZrBi2 ring. Moreover, our computations on associated model systems offer insight into the nature of the interaction of the heaviest dipnictene with a metallocene center.  相似文献

Linear triphenol H3[RO3] (2,6-bis(3-tert-butyl-5-methyl-2-hydroxybenzyl)-4-R-phenol; R = Me, tBu) was found to undergo selective mono-deprotonation and mono-O-methylation. Deprotonation of H3[RO3] with 1 equiv of nBuLi resulted in the formation of Li{H2[RO3]}(Et2O)2 (R = Me (1a), tBu (1b)), in which the central phenol unit was lithiated. Treatment of H3[RO3] with methyl p-toluenesulfonate in the presence of K2CO3 in CH3CN gave the corresponding anisol-diphenol H2[RO2O] (2,6-bis(3-tert-butyl-5-methyl-2-hydroxybenzyl)-4-R-anisole; R = Me (2a), tBu (2b)). Reaction of H2[RO2O] with 2 equiv of nBuLi gave the dilithiated derivatives Li2[RO2O]. The lithium salts were reacted with ZrCl4 in toluene/THF to obtain the dichloride complex [RO2O]ZrCl2(thf) (R = Me (3a), tBu (3b)). 3b underwent dimerization along with a loss of THF to generate {[tBuO2O]ZrCl2}2 (4), whereas 4 was dissolved in THF to regenerate the monomer 3b. Alkylation of 3 with MeMgBr, PhCH2MgCl, and Me3SiCH2MgCl gave [MeO2O]ZrMe2(thf) (5), [RO2O]Zr(CH2Ph)2 (R = Me (6a), tBu (6b)), and [tBuO2O]Zr(CH2SiMe3)2 (7), respectively. Reaction of 3b with LiBHEt3 produced the hydride-bridged dimer [Li2(thf)4Cl]{[tBuO3]Zr}2(micro-H)3} (8), in which demethylation of the dianionic [tBuO2O] ligand took place to give the trianionic [tBuO3] ligand. The X-ray crystal structures of 1b, 2a, 3a, 4, 6a, and 7 were reported.  相似文献

Catalytic dehydrocoupling of phosphines was investigated using the anionic zirconocene trihydride salts [Cp*2Zr(mu-H)3Li]3 (1 a) or [Cp*2Zr(mu-H)3K(thf)4] (1 b), and the metallocycles [CpTi(NPtBu3)(CH2)4] (6) and [Cp*M(NPtBu3)(CH2)4] (M=Ti 20, Zr 21) as catalyst precursors. Dehydrocoupling of primary phosphines RPH2 (R=Ph, C6H2Me3, Cy, C10H7) gave both dehydrocoupled dimers RP(H)P(H)R or cyclic oligophosphines (RP)n (n=4, 5) while reaction of tBu3C6H2PH2 gave the phosphaindoline tBu2(Me2CCH2)C6H2PH 9. Stoichiometric reactions of these catalyst precursors with primary phosphines afforded [Cp*2Zr((PR)2)H][K(thf)4] (R=Ph 2, Cy 3, C6H2Me3 4), [Cp*2Zr((PPh)3)H][K(thf)4] (5), [CpTi(NPtBu3)(PPh)3] (7) and [CpTi(NPtBu3)(mu-PHPh)]2 (8), while reaction of 6 with (C6H2tBu3)PH2 in the presence of PMe3 afforded [CpTi(NPtBu3)(PMe3)(P(C6H2tBu3)] (10). The secondary phosphines Ph2PH and (PhHPCH2)2CH2 also undergo dehydrocoupling affording (Ph2P)2 and (PhPCH2)2CH2. The bisphosphines (CH2PH2)2 and C6H4(PH2)2 are dehydrocoupled to give (PCH2CH2PH)2)(12) and (C6H4P(PH))2 (13) while prolonged reaction of 13 gave (C6H4P2)(8) (14). The analogous bisphosphine Me2C6H4(PH)2 (17) was prepared and dehydrocoupling catalysis afforded (Me2C6H2P(PH))2 (18) and subsequently [(Me2C6H2P2)2(mu-Me2C6H2P2)]2 (19). Stoichiometric reactions with these bisphosphines gave [Cp*2Zr(H)(PH)2C6-H4][Li(thf)4] (22), [CpTi(NPtBu3)(PH)2C6H4]2 (23) and [Cp*Ti(NPtBu3)(PH)2C6H4] (24). Mechanistic implications are discussed.  相似文献

Ammonolysis of previously reported Cl-M[N(SiMe3)2]3 (M = Zr, 1a; Hf, 1b) leads to the formation of peramides H2N-M[N(SiMe3)2]3 (M = Zr, 2a; Hf, 2b) which upon deprotonation by LiN(SiMe3)2 or Li(THF)3SiPh2But yields imides Li+(THF)n{HN(-)-M[N(SiMe3)2]3} (M = Zr, 3a; Hf, 3b). One -SiMe3 group in 3a-b undergoes silyl migration from a -N(SiMe3)2 ligand to the imide =NH ligand to give Li+(THF)2{Me3SiN(-)-M[NH(SiMe3)][N(SiMe3)2]2} (M = Zr, 4a; Hf, 4b) containing an imide =N(SiMe3) ligand. The kinetics of the 3a --> 4a conversion was investigated between 290 and 315 K and was first-order with respect to 3a. The activation parameters for this silyl migration are DeltaH++ = 13.3(1.3) kcal/mol and DeltaS++ = -34(3) eu in solutions of 3a (in toluene-d8 with 1.07 M THF) prepared in situ. THF in the mixed solvent promoted the 3a --> 4a reaction. The effect of THF on the rate constants of the conversion has been studied, and the kinetics of the reaction was 3.4(0.6)th order with respect to THF. Crystal and molecular structures of H2N-Zr[N(SiMe3)2]3 (2a) and 4a-b have been determined.  相似文献

Five-coordinate and six-coordinate 2-methyl-2-propanethiolato complexes of zirconium, [Li(DME)(3)][Zr(SCMe(3))(5)] (1) and [(THF)Li](2)Zr(SCMe(3))(6) (2), were obtained from the ZrCl(4)/LiSCMe(3) reaction system. The control of the Zr coordination number, by the ether ligands, THF or DME, bound to Li, is demonstrated by the conversion of 2 into 1 upon dissolution in DME. 1 and 2 were crystallographically characterized. The structures are extensively disordered. Crystal data follow: 1, hexagonal P6(3)/m, a = b = 12.496(3) ?, c = 17.561(9) ?, Z = 2, V = 2375(1) ?(3), R = 5.0%, R(w) = 6.8%; 2, trigonal R32, a = b = 11.813(3) ?, c = 28.37(1) ?, Z = 3, V = 3428(1) ?(3), R = 5.2%, R(w) = 6.4%.  相似文献

Herein we describe different C-C coupling reactions of permethyltitanocene and -zirconocene with disubstituted 1,3-butadiynes. The outcomes of these reactions vary depending on the metals and the diyne substituents. The reduction of [Cp2*MCl2] (Cp* = C5Me5; M = Ti, Zr) with Mg in the presence of disubstituted butadiynes RC triple bond C-C triple bond CR' is suitable for the synthesis of different C-C coupling products of the diyne and the permethylmetallocenes, and provides a new method for the generation of functionalized pentamethyl-cyclopentadienyl derivatives. For M = Zr and R = R' = tBu, the reaction gives, by a twofold activation of one pentamethylcyclopentadienyl ligand, the complex [Cp*Zr[-C(=C=CHtBu)-CHtBu-CH2-eta5-C5Me3-CH2-]] (3), containing a fulvene ligand that is coupled to the modified substrate (allenic subunit). When using the analogous permethyltitanocene fragment "Cp2*Ti", the reaction depends strongly on the substituents R and R'. The coupling product of the butadiyne with two methyl groups of one of the pentamethylcyclopentadienyl ring systems, [Cp*Ti[eta5-C5Me3-(CH2-CHR-eta2-C2-CHR'-CH2)]], is obtained with R = R' = tBu (4) and R = tBu, R' = SiMe3 (5). In these complexes one pentamethylcyclopentadienyl ligand is annellated to an eight-membered ring with a C-C triple bond, which is coordinated to the titanium center. A different activation of both pentamethylcyclopentadienyl ligands is observed for R = R' = Me, resulting in the complex [[eta5-C5Me4(CH2)-]Ti[-C(=CHMe)-C(=CHMe)-CH2-eta5-C5Me4]] (6), which displays a fulvene as well as a butadienyl-substituted pentamethylcyclopentadienyl ligand. The influence exerted by the size of the metal is illustrated in the reaction of [Cp2*ZrCl2] with MeC triple bond C-C triple bond CMe. Here the five-membered metallacyclocumulene complex [Cp2*Zr(eta4-1,2,3,4-MeC4Me)] (7) is obtained. The reaction paths found for R = R' = Me are identical to those formerly described for R = R' = Ph.  相似文献

Several compounds based on the C(1)-symmetric ligands [N(R)C(Ar)NPh]- [abbreviated as B1 (Ar = C(6)H(4)Me-4) or B2 (Ar = Ph), R = SiMe(3)] are reported. They are the crystalline metal benzamidinates [Li(mu:kappa2-B1)(OEt2)](2) (1), [Al(kappa2-B1)2Me] (2), [Al(kappa2-B1)2X] [X = Cl/Me, 1 : 1 (3)], [Sn(kappa2-B1)2] (4), Zr(kappa2-B1)2Cl2 (5), [Zr(kappa2-B1)3Cl] (6), [Na(mu:kappa2-B1)(tmeda)]2 (7), K[B1] (8), Li(B2)(OEt2) (9) and Zr(kappa2-B1)3Cl (10) and the known benzamidine Z-H2NC(C6H4Me-4) = NPh (11). They were prepared by (i) insertion of the nitrile 4-MeC6H4CN (1, 7, 8, 11) or PhCN (9) into the appropriate M-N(R')Ph [R' = R and M = Li (1, 9), Na (7), K (8)] bond and subsequent hydrolysis for 11 [R' = H and M = Li], or (ii) a ligand transfer reaction using the lithium amidinate 1 and Al(Me)2Cl (2, 3), SnCl2 (4) or ZrCl4 (5, 6), or Li(B2) and ZrCl4 (10). The X-ray structures of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6b (i.e..3PhMe) 7, and 11 are presented. Exploratory polymerisation experiments are described, using 2, 5 or 6 as a procatalyst with methylaluminoxane (MAO) (Al : Zr ca. 500 : 1) as promoter. Thus toluene solutions were exposed to C2H4 under ambient conditions; while 2 was unresponsive, 5 and 6 showed modest activity in the formation of polyethylene.  相似文献

A series of zirconium and hafnium heteroscorpionate complexes have been prepared by the reaction of MCl4 (M = Zr, Hf) with the compounds [[Li(bdmpza)(H2O)](4)] [bdmpza = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate], [[Li(bdmpzdta)(H2O)](4)] [bdmpzdta = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)dithioacetate], and (Hbdmpze) [bdmpze = 2,2-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethoxide] (the latter with the prior addition of Bu(n)Li). Under the appropriate experimental conditions, mononuclear complexes, namely, [MCl3(kappa3-bdmpzx)] [x = a, M = Zr (1), Hf (2); x = dta, M = Zr (3), Hf (4); x = e, M = Zr (5), Hf (6)], and dinuclear complexes, namely, [[MCl2(mu-OH)(kappa3-bdmpzx)]2] [x = a, M = Zr (7), Hf (8); x = dta, M = Zr (9); x = e, M = Zr (10)], were isolated. A family of alkoxide-containing complexes of the general formula [ZrCl2(kappa3-bdmpzx)(OR)] [x = a, R = Me (11), Et (12), iPr (13), tBu (14); x = dta, R = Me (15), Et (16), iPr (17), tBu (18); x = e, R = Me (19), Et (20), (i)Pr (21), (t)Bu (22)] was also prepared. Complexes 11-14 underwent an interesting hydrolysis process to give the cluster complex [Zr6(mu3-OH)8(OH)8(kappa2-bdmpza)8] (23). The structures of these complexes have been determined by spectroscopic methods, and the X-ray crystal structures of 7, 8, and 23 were also established.  相似文献

A bimetallic oxalamidino complex of neodymium [(Cp")2Nd(NR)2C-C(NR')2Nd(Cp")2][Cp"=η5-C5H3-1,3-(SiMe3)2, R=C6H11](2) was obtained via reaction between NdI2 and carbodiimide[RN=C=NR] (R=C6H11)(molar ratio 1:1) in tetrahydrofuran(THF) solution, followed by the addition of [KCp"(THF)](1)(molar ratio 1:2) at a low temperature through a reductive-coupling reaction with carbodiimide. The structure of the intermediate product was confirmed by means of elemental analysis, 1H NMR and 13C NMR. Characterization of the product by single crystal X-ray diffraction confirmed the diamidinate type of structure.  相似文献

Treatment of Me(2)S·B(C(6)F(5))(n) H(3-n) (n=1 or 2) with ammonia yields the corresponding adducts. H(3)N·B(C(6)F(5))H(2) dimerises in the solid state through N-H···H-B dihydrogen interactions. The adducts can be deprotonated to give lithium amidoboranes Li[NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(n)H(3-n)]. Reaction of the n=2 reagent with [Cp(2)ZrCl(2)] leads to disubstitution, but [Cp(2)Zr{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)] is in equilibrium with the product of β-hydride elimination [Cp(2)Zr(H){NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}], which proves to be the major isolated solid. The analogous reaction with [Cp(2)HfCl(2)] gives a mixture of [Cp(2)Hf{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)] and the N-H activation product [Cp(2)Hf{NHB(C(6)F(5 )(2)H}]. [Cp(2)Zr{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)]·PhMe and [Cp(2)Hf{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)]·4(thf) exhibit β-B-agostic chelate bonding of one of the two amidoborane ligands in the solid state. The agostic hydride is invariably coordinated to the outside of the metallocene wedge. Exceptionally, [Cp(2)Hf{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)]?PhMe has a structure in which the two amidoborane ligands adopt an intermediate coordination mode, in which neither is definitively agostic. [Cp(2)Hf{NHB(C(6)F(5))(2)H}] has a formally dianionic imidoborane ligand chelating through an agostic interaction, but the bond-length distribution suggests a contribution from a zwitterionic amidoborane resonance structure. Treatment of the zwitterions [Cp(2)MMe(μ-Me)B(C(6)F(5))(3)] (M=Zr, Hf) with Li[NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(n)H(3-n)] (n=2) results in [Cp(2) MMe{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}] complexes, for which the spectroscopic data, particularly (1)J(B,H), again suggest β-B-agostic interactions. The reactions proceed similarly for the structurally encumbered [Cp'(2)ZrMe(μ-Me)B(C(6)F(5))(3)] precursor (Cp'=1,3-C(5)H(3)(SiMe(3))(2) , n=1 or 2) to give [Cp'(2)ZrMe{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(n)H(3-n)}], both of which have been structurally characterised and show chelating, agostic amidoborane coordination. In contrast, the analogous hafnium chemistry leads to the recovery of [Cp'(2)HfMe(2)] and the formation of Li[HB(C(6)F(5))(3)] through hydride abstraction.  相似文献

The generation and properties of nonchelated Zr-aryl-alkyne and Zr-aryl-alkene complexes that are stabilized by the presence of beta-Si-substituents in the alkyne and alkene ligands and fluorination of the aryl ligand are described. Reaction of [Cp'2Zr(OtBu)(ClCD2Cl)][B(C6F5)4] (1, Cp' = C5H4Me) with alkyne and alkene substrates (L) generates Cp'2Zr(OtBu)(L)+ adducts (L = HCCCH2SiMe3 (2); H2C=CHCH2SiMe3 (3); HCCMe (4); H2C=CHCH2CMe3 (5)). Equilibrium constants for substrate binding (Keq = [Zr-L][1]-1[L]-1; CD2Cl2, -89 degrees C) are much larger for the beta-Si-substituted compounds 2 (1.0(2) x 105 M-1) and 3 (1.7(4) x 103 M-1) than for hydrocarbon analogues 4 (3.6(7) x 102 M-1) and 5 (1.9(1) M-1), which is ascribed to beta-Si stabilization of the partial positive charge on Cint of the bound substrate. [Cp2Zr(C6F5)][B(C6F5)4] (7, Cp = C5H5) was generated by the reaction of Cp2Zr(C6F5)Me with [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] in C6D5Cl. Reaction of 7 with alkyne and alkene substrates (L) generates Cp2Zr(C6F5)(L)+ adducts (L = HCCCH2SiMe3 (8); H2C=CHCH2SiMe3 (10)). No insertion of the substrate into the Zr-C6F5 bond is observed in 8 (at -38 degrees C) or 10 (up to 22 degrees C). The allyltrimethylsilane ligand in 10 undergoes nondissociative alkene face exchange ("alkene flipping", i.e., exchange of the Cp2Zr(C6F5)+ unit between the two alkene enantiofaces without alkene dissociation), with a first-order rate constant kflip = 23(1) s-1 (C6D5Cl, -38 degrees C). 10 also undergoes slower reversible decomplexation of the alkene (kdissoc = 5.0(8) s-1; C6D5Cl, -38 degrees C).  相似文献

From the reactions of Cp*ZrCl(3) with 3 equiv. of LiBH(3)R (R = CH(3), Ph), the organotrihydroborate complexes, Cp*Zr(BH(3)CH(3))(3), 1, and Cp*Zr(BH(3)Ph)(3), 2, were isolated. One of the Zr-H-B bonding interactions in 2 could be described as an intermediate case between the bidentate and tridentate modes. Reactions of and Cp*Zr(BH(4))(3), 3, with Lewis acid B(C(6)F(5))(3) in diethyl ether produced the novel 14-electron ionic compounds [(micro(3)-O)(micro(2)-OC(2)H(5))(3){(Cp*Zr(OC(2)H(5)))(2)(BCH(3))}][HB(C(6)F(5))(3)], 4, and [(micro(3)-O)(micro(2)-OC(2)H(5))(3){(Cp*Zr(OC(2)H(5)))(2)(BOC(2)H(5))}][HB(C(6)F(5))(3)], 5, respectively. These two unique compounds resulted from a sequential cleavage of Zr-H-B bonds of 1 and 3 and C-O bonds of ether followed by the formation of O-B bonds. The solid state single crystal X-ray analyses revealed that both compounds have similar structures. A micro(3)-oxygen bridges two zirconiums and a boron atom. The latter three atoms are further connected by three micro(2)-bridging ethoxy groups giving rise to three four-membered metallacycles within the structure of each cation.  相似文献

The synthesis, structures, and unusual reactivity of (C5R5)2ZrR'(ClPh)+ chlorobenzene complexes are described. The reaction of (C5R5)2ZrR'2 with [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] in C6D5Cl affords [(C5R5)2ZrR'(ClC6D5)][B(C6F5)4] chlorobenzene complexes (1-d5, R' = CH2Ph and (C5R5)2 = (C5H5)2; 2a-d-d5, R' = Me and (C5R5)2 = rac-(1,2-ethylene(bis)indenyl) (2a), (C5H5)2 (2b), (C5H4Me)2 (2c), (C5Me5)2 (2d, C5Me5 = Cp*)). Complexes 1 and 2b,c are thermally robust but are converted to [{(C5R5)2Zr(mu-Cl)}2][B(C6F5)4]2 (4b,c) by a photochemical process in ClPh solution. In contrast, 2d undergoes facile thermal ortho-C-H activation to yield [Cp*2Zr(eta2-C,Cl-2-Cl-C6H4)][B(C6F5)4] (5), which slowly rearranges to [(eta4,eta1-C5Me5C6H4)Cp*ZrCl][B(C6F5)4] (6) via beta-Cl elimination and benzyne insertion into a Zr-CCp* bond. The higher thermal reactivity of 2d versus that of 1 and 2b,c is attributed to steric crowding associated with the Cp* ligands of 2d, which forces a ClPh ortho-hydrogen close to the Zr-Me group.  相似文献

Azametallacyclobutene Cp(2)ZrN-t-BuCEt=CEt (1) underwent an insertion reaction with CO to form the acyl complex 2 (Cp(2)Zr(N-t-BuCEtCEtCO), 67% yield). The addition of acetone to azametallacyclobutene 3 (Cp(2)Zr(NArCMeCPh), Ar = 2,6-dimethylphenyl) yielded the N-bonded enamine and O-bonded enolate complex of zirconocene 4 (Cp(2)Zr(NArCMeCPhH)(OCMeCH(2)), 76% yield). The addition of aldehydes RCOH to metallacycle 3 resulted in the insertion of the aldehyde into the Zr-C bond to form complexes Cp(2)Zr(NArCMeCPhCRHO) (8a) and Cp(2)Zr(NArCMeCPhC(i-Pr)HO (9) in 85% (R = Ph) and 73% yields, respectively. Similarly, treatment of metallacycle 10 (Cp(2)Zr(NArCEtCEt)) with benzaldehyde yielded the insertion product 11 (Cp(2)Zr(NArCEtCEtCPhHO)) in 56% isolated yield. The structure of complex 11 was confirmed by an X-ray crystallographic study. Heating the insertion products 8a and 9 led to elimination of the alpha,beta-unsaturated imines 13 and 14a (ArN=CMeCPh=CRH) in 53% and 72% yields, respectively, and the formation of oxozirconocene oligomer (Cp(2)ZrO)(n)(). The oxozirconocene monomer was trapped by dimethylzirconocene, preventing the formation of oligomer and resulting in the isolation of product 15. A kinetic study of this retrocycloaddition produced the following activation parameters: DeltaH() = 26.5 kcal/mol, DeltaS() = 3.48 eu. A Hammett sigma/rho study showed that electron-donating groups alpha to the metallacycle oxygen accelerate the retrocycloaddition (rho = -0.8).  相似文献

HC(SiMe2NH[(S)-1-phenylethyl]]3 (1) and HC[SiMe2NH[(R)-1-indanyl]]3 (2) were found to be in equilibrium in solution with the cyclic diamines HC[SiMe2N[(S)-1-phenylethyl]2](SiMe2NH-[(S)-1-phenylethyl]] (3) and HC[SiMe2NH[(R)-1-indanyl]][SiMe2NH[(R)-1-indanyl]) (4), which are generated upon ejection of one molecule of the chiral primary amine. Reaction of these equilibrium mixtures with three molar equivalents of butyllithium instantaneously gave the trilithium triamides HC[SiMe2N(Li)[(S)-1-phenylethyl]]3 (5) and HC[SiMe2N(Li)[(R)-1-indanyl]]3 (6), both of which were characterised by an X-ray diffraction study. Both lithium compounds possess a central heteroadamantane core, in which the two-coordinate Li atoms are additionally weakly solvated by the three aryl groups of the chiral peripheral substituents, the Li-C contacts being in the range of 2.65-2.73 A. Reaction of 5 and 6 with [TiCl4(thf)2] and ZrCl4 gave the corresponding amido complexes [TiCl-[HC[SiMe2N[(S)-1-phenylethyl]]3]] (7), [TiCl(HC[SiMe2N[(R)-1-indanyl]]3]] (8), [ZrCl[HC[SiMe2N[(S)-1-phenylethyl]]3]] (9) and [ZrCl[HC[SiMe2N[(R)-1-indanyl]]3]] (10), respectively. Of these, compound 7 was structurally characterised by X-ray structure analysis and was shown to possess a C3-symmetrical arrangement of the tripod ligand. The chiral anionic dinuclear complex [Li-(OEt2)4][Zr2Cl3[HC[SiMe2N[(S)-1-phenylethyl]]3]2] (11) was isolated from reaction mixtures leading to 9. An X-ray diffraction study established its dimeric structure, in which the chiral amido ligands cap the two metal centres, which are linked through three symmetrically arranged, bridging chloro ligands. Reaction of 9 and 10 with a series of alkyl Grignard and alkyllithium reagents yielded the corresponding alkylzirconium complexes. X-ray structure analyses of [Zr(CH3)[HC[SiMe2N[(S)-1-phenylethyl]]3]] (12) and [Zr(CH3)-[HC[SiMe2N)[(R)-1-indanyl]]3]] (20) established their detailed molecular arrangements. While the reaction of 12 with the aryl ketones PhC(O)R (R = CH = CHPh, iPr, Et) gave the corresponding C-O insertion products, which contain an additional chiral centre in the alkoxy group, with low stereoselectivity (0-40% de). The corresponding conversions with several aryl aldehydes yielded the alkoxo complexes with high stereoselectivity. Upon hydrolysis, the chiral alcohols were isolated and shown to have enantiomeric excesses between 68 and 82%. High stereodiscrimination was also observed in the insertion reactions of several chiral ketones and aldehydes. However, this was shown to originate primarily from the chirality of the substrate. In analogous experiments with carbonyl compounds, the ethyl- and butyl-zirconium analogues of 12 did not undergo CO insertion into the metal-alkyl bond. Instead, beta-elimination and formal insertion into the metal-hydride bond occurred. It was found that the elimination of the alkene was induced by  相似文献

(91)Zr (I = 5/2) solid-state NMR (SSNMR) spectra of the zirconocene compounds, Cp(2)ZrCl(2), Cp*(2)ZrCl(2) (1), Cp(2)ZrBr(2) (2), (Me(3)SiC(5)H(4))(2)ZrBr(2) (3), O(Me(2)SiC(5)H(4))(2)ZrBr(2) (4), (1,3-C(5)H(3))(SiMe(2)OSiMe(2))(2)(1,3-C(5)H(3))ZrBr(2) (5), Ind(2)ZrCl(2) (6), Cp(2)ZrMeCl (7), Cp(2)ZrMe(2) (8), and [Cp(2)ZrMe][MeB(C(6)F(5))(3)] (9) have been acquired. Static (91)Zr SSNMR spectra have been acquired for all complexes at magnetic fields of 9.4 and 21.1 T. Cp(2)ZrCl(2) and complexes 1 to 5 possess relatively narrow central transition powder patterns which allows for magic-angle spinning (MAS) (91)Zr solid-state NMR spectra to be acquired at a moderate field strength of 9.4 T. Complexes 6 to 9 possess ultrawideline central transition SSNMR spectra necessitating piece-wise acquisition techniques. From the static and MAS (91)Zr SSNMR spectra, it is possible to measure (91)Zr electric field gradient (EFG) and chemical shift (CS) tensor parameters, as well as the Euler angles which describe their relative orientation. Basis sets and methods for the accurate quantum chemical calculation of (91)Zr EFG and CS tensors have been identified. The origin of the observed EFG and CS tensor parameters are further investigated by visualization of the EFG and CS tensor orientations within the molecular frames. Correlations between the observed and calculated NMR tensor parameters and molecular symmetry and structure are made. All of these observations suggest that (91)Zr SSNMR spectroscopy can be utilized to probe the molecular structure of a variety of homogeneous and heterogeneous olefin polymerization catalysts.  相似文献
