We considered a flow of a cohesionless granular material in a partially filled three-dimensional rotating container. A variational continuum mechanics model is suggested to describe the profile of the free surface of the granular material. A combination of a level set method and a variational form of energy conservation equation allows us to describe flow of granular material in arbitrary-shaped containers.  相似文献

探讨舰船螺旋桨空泡噪声指数衰减型随机脉冲序列的理论模型。据此理论模型,导得螺旋桨空泡噪声谱的表达式。结果表明,螺旋桨空泡噪声由连续谱和离散线谱组成。螺旋桨空泡噪声线谱的相对幅值取决于声脉冲前沿出现时刻的随机摆幅。高频时线谱成分趋于零,低频段线谱成分甚大于相应的连续谱成分。高频段连续谱随频率的平方而下降,低频段连续谱随频率的平方而上升,在某一较低频率处出现谱峰。上述螺旋桨空泡噪声谱特性的理论结果和实际观测数据之间具有很好的一致性。  相似文献

A model of a nonlinear system composed of a hub with attached two pendula rotating in a horizontal plane is studied in the paper. Each single pendulum, treated as a stiff and massless rod with a lumped mass, is connected to the hub by a flapping hinge. Nonlinear stiffness and viscous damping of the hinge is taken into consideration. The system is excited by an external torque generated by a DC motor which is considered as an ideal system with torque given by a harmonic function. For small oscillations the problem is linearised and then solved analytically. An influence of the structural parameters like mass of the hub and pendula length on natural end excited vibrations is presented. Large oscillations are studied by a continuation technique, directly from the original Ordinary Differential Equations of motion (ODE). The complete synchronisation, phase synchronisation, bifurcations and transition through resonances are analysed considering the influence of the mass of the hub. The existence of chaotic oscillations of the system and paths leading to chaos are demonstrated as well.  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to understand the aerodynamic noise source distribution around a rotating fan blade by measuring the noise signal and velocity field around the blade. The local noise-level distribution over the fan blade is measured by microphone arrays, and the flow field is visualized by smoke and phase-averaged PIV measurement. The noise source distribution is examined by cross-correlation analysis between noise signal and velocity fluctuation. It is found that the noise source is located near the rotating fan blade, especially around leading and trailing edges. The separation and reattachment of flow are observed near the leading edge, and the tip vortices and vortex shedding are found near the trailing edge. The cross-correlation distribution of the noise signal and the radial velocity fluctuation shows large magnitude in the correlated regions, which indicates the noise generation by the formation of vortex structure around the blade.  相似文献

采用空化多相流瞬态模拟和边界元数值声学计算相结合的混合方法,预报了全附体假尾后对转桨在初生空化状态下的线谱和宽带谱噪声,分析了初生空化状态下对转桨噪声谱级相对于无空化状态的增量,提出了同时从流场与声场角度判定对转桨空化初生的四个充分条件。预报值与空泡水筒噪声测量值进行了比较。多相流瞬态模拟包括非定常雷诺时均模拟、尺度适应模拟和分离涡模拟三种方法。计算结果表明,在大范围进速系数范围内预报对转桨敞水性能曲线与测量值吻合很好。尺度适应模拟(SAS)和分离涡模拟(DES)在捕捉对转桨空化脉动压力时精度相当,均能满足非定常负载噪声预报的精度要求;雷诺时均模拟(URAN S)仅对于低频负载噪声来说基本适用。空泡体积脉动诱导线谱噪声在800 Hz处的预报误差小于4 dB;在800 Hz^3 kHz频段内,预报得到1/3oct中心频率处谱级的平均误差小于1.5 dB,总声级预报误差小于2.4 dB。空化初生的充分条件为:空化面积与桨盘面面积的比值小于2%、积分力和叶梢截面压力系数分布较无空化状态基本不变且中高频段噪声谱级增加8~10 dB。较好地解决了伴流场中对转桨空化初生判定和初生空化状态下辐射噪声预报的两个技术难题,可直接服务于高速、低噪声鱼雷的设计研发。  相似文献

This study aims to clarify the relationship between the deformation of a free surface and flow transition in a “switching phenomenon” process. In a flow driven by a rotating disk in a cylindrical open vessel, the free surface irregularly changes its shape from axisymmetric to nonaxisymmetric and vice versa with repeating up-and-down motion (so-called “switching phenomenon”). The flow under the free surface was visualized by anisotropic flakes. When the free surface assumes a parabolic shape, the flow is distinguished by three regions; local circulation region, rigid vortex region and meridional circulation region. The flow transition in the switching phenomenon was shown by snapshots and movies of the visualized flow; the flow near the free surface is laminar even if the shape of the free surface changes to nonaxisymmetric during the time at which the free surface attaches to the bottom of the vessel. After the free surface detaches from the disk, the flow near the free surface becomes turbulent. When the free surface changes to axisymmetric while descending to the bottom, the flow changes from turbulent to laminar flow and the local circulation region reemerges at the center of the vessel.  相似文献

Taylor-Görtler vortices play an important role in the flow driven by rotating magnetic field in a closed cylindrical container. The visualization of these structures is essential to understand their physics and their impact on the dynamics of the flow. We present a study of various methods for identifying vortex cores, including the so-called λ2 andQriteria. While λ2 is, probably, the better indicator it is more sensitive to numerical noise and thus less effective in devising 3D vortex structures. Here, the Q criterion proved particularly useful when applied to the fluctuation velocity field.  相似文献

An Unsteady flow field with rotating stall cells in a high specific-speed diagonal flow fan has been investigated experimentally. Although a general feature of stall cells has already indicated, i.e., the number of stall cells is one and its propagating speed is approximately 80 percent of rotor speed, little has been known about the flow field when a rotating stall occurs because of its unsteadiness. In order to capture the behavior of the rotating stall cell, measurements of the flow field at the rotor inlet were carried out with a single slant hot-wire. Those data were processed by a so-called “double phase-locked averaging” (DPLA) technique, which enabled to capture the flow field of the cell in the reference co-ordinate system fixed to the rotor. As a result, time-dependent ensemble averages of the three-dimensional velocity components at the rotor inlet have been obtained and the behavior of the rotating stall cell has been illustrated with each velocity component.  相似文献

We study spontaneously forming convection in a container that is almost completely filled with a bidisperse granular mixture. The container with an aspect ratio close to 1 rotates slowly about a horizontal axis. In this geometry, single vortex rolls are observed in the cell plane, after a spontaneous symmetry breaking. The circulation of grains produces nonuniform segregation patterns of the mixture that in turn interact with the convective flow. We describe oscillatory modulations of the convection velocity, cessations and spontaneous reversals of the circulation. All these features are absent in multiroll granular convection.  相似文献
