Two Co(Ⅱ)-based Coordination Polymers Constructed from π-electron-rich Polycarboxylate Aryl Ether Ligand: Structural Insights and Photocatalytic Dye Degradation

In the present study, two new Co(Ⅱ)-based coordination polymers(CPs) with chemical formulas of {[Co_3(μ_3-OH)(L)(H_2O)_3]·2H_2O}_n(1) and {[Co_3(μ_3-OH)(L)(H_2O)]·_2DMF·3H_2O}_n(2) have been successfully prepared by the reaction of Co(NO_3)_2·6H_2O with π-electron-rich polycarboxylate aryl ether ligand 5,5'-((5-carboxy-1,3-phenylene)bis(oxy))diisophthalic acid(H_5L) under different solvothermal reaction conditions. Both CPs have been studied via single-crystal X-day diffraction, powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD) and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The photophysical studies indicated that complex 2 with good water stability is a potential semiconductive material, which could be applied for the degradation of methylene blue(MB) under UV light irradiation and exhibit good stability and recyclability.

Self‐assembly of Two Cobalt(II) Coordination Polymers Derived from Tetrabromoterephthalate and Flexible Bis(Benzimidazole) Co‐ligands

Two new cobalt(II) coordination polymers, {[Co(L1)(tbta)] · 0.8H₂O}_n ( 1 ) and {[Co(L2)(tbta)] · H₂O}_n ( 2 ) [L1 = 1,1′‐(1,3‐propanediyl)bis(2‐methylbenzimidazole), L2 = 1,2‐bis(2‐methylbenzimidazole‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene, H₂tbta = tetrabromoterephthalic acid] were obtained under hydrothermal conditions and structurally characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction methods, IR spectroscopy, TGA, and elemental analysis. The cobalt atoms present similar environments with tetrahedral arrangements in 1 and 2 . The two complexes show a 2D (4,4) coordination network with sql topology. Compound 2 is further extended into a rare 3 , 3 , 4T3 three‐dimensional supramolecular framework by weak C–H ··· O hydrogen bonding interactions. The fluorescence and catalytic properties of the complexes for the degradation of the congo red azo dye in a Fenton‐like process were investigated.     

两种异金属链状配位聚合物的合成和晶体结构

在甲醇溶液中,将K2NiL·H2O和M(OAC)2(M = Co,Zn)按1:1的摩尔比进行组装反应,得到了镍、钴和镍、锌两种异金属一维链状配位聚合物,其化学组成分别为{[Ni2Co2L2(H2O)2]·CH3OH·3H2O}n（1）和{[Ni2Zn2L2 (H2O)2]·2CH3OH·H2O}n（2）,（H4L=2-羟基-3-[(E)-({2-(2-羟基苯甲酰胺基)乙基}亚氨基)甲基]苯甲酸,OAC- = CH3COO-）。通过IR谱,元素分析的方法对其进行了表征,利用X-射线单晶衍射方法对其晶体结构进行了测定,结构分析表明：它们都是由不对称四核单元组成链状配位聚合物。

Increasing nuclearity of secondary building units in porous cobalt(II) metal-organic frameworks: variation in structure and H2 adsorption

Reaction of Co(NO(3))(2)·6H(2)O with H(2)L [H(2)L = pyridine-4-(phenyl-3',5'-dicarboxylic acid)] under different reaction conditions gives three closely-related metal-organic framework polymers, {[Co(2)(L)(2)(DMF)]·n(solv)}(∞) (1), {[Co(L)]·2DMF}(∞) (2) and {[Co(3)(L)(3)(DMF)(0.5)(H(2)O)(1.5)]·n(solv)}(∞) (3). Variation in reaction conditions thus has a decisive impact on the materials isolated, producing frameworks based upon either binuclear (1, 2) or trinuclear (3) cobalt cluster nodes. Analysis of their crystal structures shows that all three contain considerable solvent-accessible volumes, an indication of porosity that is confirmed for desolvated 1 and 3, which can store up to 2.75 and 2.33 wt% of H(2) at 78 K and 20 bar, respectively.     

Four Co(II)/Zn(II) coordination polymers with a multidentate ligand: syntheses,structures, thermal,and photoluminescent properties

Two pairs of isostructural transition metal coordination polymers, {[Co(L)(H₂O)]_n} (1) and {[Zn(L)(H₂O)]_n} (3), {[Co(L)(4,4′-bipy)(H₂O)]·H₂O}_n (2) and {[Zn(L)(4,4′-bipy)(H₂O)]·H₂O}_n (4) (H₂L = N-pyrazinesulfonyl-glycine acid and 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine), have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, elemental and thermogravimetric analyses. The structures show that 1 and 3 display 2-D polymeric grid frameworks with a 3-connected (4, 8²) topology. 2 and 4 also exhibit a 2-D polymeric grid structure, but are constructed by a 4-connected (4, 4) topology. The adjacent 2-D polymeric grid frameworks for 1–4 are further linked by hydrogen bonding O–H?O interactions to form 3-D supramolecular interweaved orderly networks. The fluorescent properties of 3 and 4 were investigated in the solid state.

Hydrothermal Syntheses and Crystal Structures of Cobalt（Ⅱ） Complexes Constructed by Dipyrido[3,2-a：2＇,3＇-c]phenazine and Different Carboxylate Ligands

Two new metal-organic complexes,{[Co2(bptc)(DPPZ)2(H2O)2]·H2O}n 1 and {[Co2(ccm)2(DPPZ)2]·2H2O}n 2,were obtained by the hydrothermal reactions of Co(NO3)2·6H2O with chelating ligand dipyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c]phenazine(DPPZ) and the corresponding carboxylic acid,namely,3,3',4,4'-benzophenonetetracarboxylic acid(H4bptc) or 2-carboxycinnamic acid(H2ccm),respectively.The complexes were structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,elemental analyses,IR spectra,and thermal gravimetry.1 presents unique chiral chain structures,which are further consolidated into three-dimensional supramolecular frameworks via noncovalent bonds,such as hydrogen bonding and π-π interactions.2 features infinite double-chain structures,which are connected by strong π-π interactions to result in three-dimensional supramolecular architectures.     

由含硫二羧酸配体构筑的钴(Ⅱ)和锰(Ⅱ)配位聚合物的合成、晶体结构及光催化性质

采用水热方法,用含硫二羧酸配体4-((carboxymethyl)thio)benzoic acid(H2L)和4,4′-联吡啶(4,4′-bipy)分别与Co Cl2·6H2O和Mn Cl2·4H2O反应,合成了2个二维配位聚合物{[Co(μ3-L)(4,4′-bipy)]·H2O}n(1)和{[Mn(μ-L)(4,4′-bipy)(H2O)2]·H2O}n(2),并对其结构和光催化性质进行了研究。结构分析结果表明2个配合物分别属于三斜和单斜晶系、P1和P21/c空间群。配合物1和2分别具有基于双核Co和一维Mn链单元的二维层结构。配合物1和2具有不同的二维层结构是由于采用了不同的金属离子。另外,研究了2个配合物对有机染料亚甲基蓝的光催化降解性能,结果表明配合物2可以高效地降解亚甲基蓝。

Construction of a Set of Cadmium（Ⅱ） Coordination Polymers with Atza and 2,2′-Bipy or 1,10-Phen Ligands （Atza=5-Aminotetrazole-1-acetato Anion）

Reactions of CdX2(X=NO3-, ClO4-) with Hatza (atza=5-aminotetrazole-1-acetato anion) and 2,2′-bipyridine (2,2′-bipy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (1,10-phen) in a methanol/aqueous solution produced a set of new Cd(Ⅱ) coordination polymers, {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(2,2′-bipy)]ClO4}n (1), {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(1,10-phen)]ClO4 }n (2), {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(2,2′-bipy)]NO3}n (3) and {[Cd(atza)2 (1,10-phen)]·0.5H2O}n (4). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that each Cd(Ⅱ) ion has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry in 1-4, and the Cd(Ⅱ) ion centers are connected through the tridentate atza bridging ligands to form a 2D layer (1-3) or ID chain (4) structure. The fluorescent properties of 2 and 4 are also discussed.
