The covariance theorems for elementary and binary Darboux transformations in rings are formulated and proved for generalized Zakharov-Shabat problems. The definition of the elementary Darboux transformation is extended to an arbitrary number of orthogonal idempotents. The binary transformation is defined as a sequence of elementary transformations for direct and conjugate problems. The heredity property for the reduction constraints is established for some UV pairs in rings; hence, the transformation generates solutions and infinitesimal symmetries of the corresponding zero-curvature equations. The explicit expressions for the transformations, solitons, and infinitesimals are given in the general case and in physically significant cases of extended non-AbelianN-wave equations (with linear terms added). A new N-fold Darboux transformation for two integrable equations is constructed with the help of a gauge transformation for the spectral problem proposed by Qiao [Z.J. Qiao, Phys. Lett. A 192 (1994) 316-322]. By the Darboux transformation, explicit soliton and multi-soliton solutions for the two equations are obtained. The linear problem associated with the self-dual Yang-Mills equations is covariant with respect to Darboux and binary Darboux transformations of almost classical type. This technique is used to construct solutions of the problem in the form of Wronskian-like and Gramm-like determinants. We review two concepts directly related to the Lax representations of integrable systems: Darboux transformations and recursion operators. We present an extensive list of integrable differential-difference equations with their Hamiltonian structures, recursion operators, nontrivial generalized symmetries, and Darboux-Lax representations. The new results include multi-Hamiltonian structures and recursion operators for integrable Volterra-type equations and integrable discretizations of derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations such as the Kaup-Newell, Chen-Lee-Liu, and Ablowitz-Ramani-Segur (Gerdjikov-Ivanov) lattices. We also compute the weakly nonlocal inverse recursion operators.  相似文献

To the hierarchy of nonlinear evolution equations which associate with Boiti-Tu eigenvalue problem, an explicit and universal form of Baeklund transformations and auniversal proof are presented. It is called Darboux transformation. By this method, to ask for a new solution of every system of equations of the hierarchy, it is sufficient to solve some linear problems. Here the constraints at the boundary for the potentials (for example, at x=\pm \infinity) are removed.  相似文献

In this paper, an mKP equation with self-consistent sources (mKPESCSs) is structured in the framework of the constrained mKP equation. Based on the conjugate Lax pairs, we construct the generalized binary Darboux transformation and the N-times repeated Darboux transformation with arbitrary functions at time t for the mKPESCSs which offers a non-auto-Bäcklund transformation between two mKPESCSs with different degrees of sources. With the help of these transformations, some new solutions for the mKPESCSs such as soliton solutions, rational solutions, breather type solutions and exponential solutions are found by taking the special initial solution for auxiliary linear problems and the special functions of t-time.  相似文献

The Darboux transformation method with 4×4 spectral problem has more complexity than 2×2 and 3×3 spectral problems. In this paper, we start from a new discrete spectral problem with a 4×4 Lax pairs and construct a lattice hierarchy by properly choosing an auxiliary spectral problem, which can be reduced to a new discrete soliton hierarchy. For the obtained lattice integrable coupling equation, we establish a Darboux transformation and apply the gauge transformation to a specific equation and then the explicit solutions of the lattice integrable coupling equation are obtained. By considering the factorizations (flags) and associated (simultaneous) second order Darboux transformations of the square and cube of an arbitrary second order Schrödinger operator, we generate commuting ordinary differential operators of orders four and six with a singular elliptic spectrum. This procedure generates true rank 2 commutative algebras. Under the KdV flow, each such factorization (flag) leads to an integrable equation for which the corresponding Darboux transformation generates a Lax-type operator as one of a commuting pair of orders four and six with singular elliptic spectrum. Hence, these integrable equations are Darboux conjugates of KdV.  相似文献

Two hierarchies of integrable positive and negative lattice equations in connection with a new discrete isospectral problem are derived. It is shown that they correspond to positive and negative power expansions respectively of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, and each equation in the resulting hierarchies is Liouville integrable. Moreover, infinitely many conservation laws of corresponding positive lattice equations are obtained in a direct way. Finally, a Darboux transformation is established with the help of gauge transformations of Lax pairs for the typical lattice soliton equations, by means of which the exact solutions are given.  相似文献
