Two new sesquiterpenes, stereumin F ( 1 ) and stereumin G ( 2 ), together with two known compounds (3β,5α,22E,24R)‐5,8‐epidioxyergosta‐6,22‐dien‐3‐ol ( 3 ) and 4‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)phenol ( 4 ), were isolated from the AcOEt extract of the culture broth and the MeOH extract of the mycelium of the fungal strain Stereum sp. A new sesquiterpene named menecubebane B (1) and a known analogue (2) were isolated from the gorgonian coral Menella sp. Their structures were elucidated by the extensive analyses of spectroscopic data and by the comparison with related literature. Cytotoxic effect against both Eca9706 and HeLa cell lines was evaluated, revealing 1 exhibited moderate cytotoxicity against the two cell lines involved with IC50 values being 20.8 and 30.6 μM, respectively.  相似文献

In the course of our searching for anti-HIV agents from natural sources, we have isolated a triterpene and a doubly linked proanthocyanidin dimer as HIV-1 protease inhibitors from the wood of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge (Sapindaceae)1. Some metabolites of fungi and plants containing perylenequinones have been used as folk medicine for the treatment of many diseases1,2. A filamentous fungus, Ascomy-cetes Hypocreaceae Hypomyces (Fr.) Chemical investigation of an extract of the marine sponge Axinyssa sp., collected from the South China Sea, led to the isolation and identification of two new sesquiterpene formamides, (4R*,5R*,10R*)‐4‐formamidoeudesm‐7‐ene ( 1 ) and (4R*,5R*,7S*,10R*)‐4‐formamidoeudesman‐11‐ol ( 2 ), together with the known 4α‐formamidogorgon‐11‐ene ( 3 ). Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR spectroscopy, high‐resolution ESI‐TOF mass spectrometry, as well as X‐ray single‐crystal diffraction experiments. Possible biosynthetic pathways for 1 – 3 were also proposed. The human nasopharyngeal cancer cell line CNE‐2, human cervical cancer cell line HeLa, and human normal liver cell line L02 were used to examine the cytotoxic activities of 1 – 3 in vitro. As the results, 1 showed significant cytotoxic activity against CNE‐2, HeLa, and L02 cell lines with the IC50 values of 13.8, 7.5, and 38.0 μg/ml, resp.  相似文献

A new eremophilane sesquiterpene, xylareremophil (1), together with five known eremophilanes, 1α,10α-epoxy-3α-hydroxyeremophil-7(11)-en-12,8β-olide (2), 1,10α,13-trihydroxyeremophil-7(11)-en-12,8-olide (3), 1α,10α-epoxy-13-hydroxyeremophil-7(11)-en-12,8β-olide (4), mairetolides B (5) and G (6) were isolated from the endophytic fungus Xylaria sp. GDG-102 cultured from Sophora tonkinensis. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data analysis. The absolute configurations of 1 was determined by comparing computed electronic circular dichroism (ECD) and optical rotation (OR) with experimental results. Compounds 1, 5 and 6 showed antibacterial activities against Proteus vulgaris, Micrococcus luteus, Micrococcus lysodeikticus and Bacillus subtilis with MIC values of 25–100 μg/mL.  相似文献

Four novel diterpenoids, namely (4β)‐4,4‐O‐dihydrocrinipellin A ( 1 ), (4β,8α)‐4,4‐O,8,8‐O‐tetrahydrocrinipellin B ( 2 ), crinipellin C ( 3 ), and crinipellin D ( 4 ), along with three known ones, (3β,4β)‐3,3‐C,4,4‐O‐tetrahydrocrinipellin A ( 5 ), (4β)‐4,4‐O‐dihydrocrinipellin B ( 6 ), and phlebiakauranol alcohol, were isolated from the fungal strain Crinipellis sp. 113. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses, including 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR experiments, and by HR‐Q‐TOF mass spectrometry. Antitumor and antibacterial assays with the novel compounds 1 – 4 were carried out, showing moderate activities against HeLa cells and no effects on the growth of tested bacteria or yeast.  相似文献

Two novel sesquiterpenoids, sinularianins A and B (1 and 2), have been isolated from the Formosan coral Sinularia sp. The skeleton of sinularianins A (1), namely sinulariolane, was found to be unprecedented. Sinularianin B (2), with a novel spiro-butenolide moiety, possesses a valerenane skeleton, which had been reported mostly from the plant.
