In this paper, we established two strong convergence theorems for a multi-step Noor iterative scheme with errors for mappings of asymptotically nonexpansive in the intermediate sense(asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive, respectively) in Banach spaces. Our results extend and improve the recent ones announced by Xu and Noor [B.L. Xu, M.A. Noor, Fixed-point iterations for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 267 (2002) 444-453], Cho, Zhou and Guo [Y.J. Cho, H. Zhou, G. Guo, Weak and strong convergence theorems for three-step iterations with errors for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings, Comput. In this paper, several weak and strong convergence theorems are established for a modified Noor iterative scheme with errors for three asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Mann-type, Ishikawa-type, and Noor-type iterations are covered by the new iteration scheme. Our results extend and improve the recently announced ones [B.L. The Mann iterations have no strong convergence even for nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces. The aim of this paper is to propose a modification of the Mann iterations for strictly asymptotically pseudocontractive maps in Hilbert spaces to have strong convergence. Our results extend those of Kim, Xu, Nakajo, Takahashi and many others.  相似文献

First, we consider a strongly continuous semigroup of nonexpansive mappings defined on a closed convex subset of a complete CAT(0) space and prove a convergence of a Mann iteration to a common fixed point of the mappings. This result is motivated by a result of Kirk (2002) and of Suzuki (2002). Second, we obtain a result on limits of subsequences of Mann iterations of multivalued nonexpansive mappings on metric spaces of hyperbolic type, which leads to a convergence theorem for nonexpansive mappings on these spaces.  相似文献

Abstract

In this article, we study Δ-convergence of iterations for a sequence of strongly quasi-nonexpansive mappings as well as the strong convergence of the Halpern type regularization of them in Hadamard spaces. Then, we give some their applications to iterative methods, convex and pseudo-convex minimization (proximal point algorithm), fixed point theory and equilibrium problems. The results extend several new results in the literature and some of them seem new even in Hilbert spaces. One of our motivations is to unify some usual iterative methods in fixed point theory and proximal methods using the iterations generated by a sequence of strongly nonexpansive mappings.  相似文献

In this article, using Bregman functions, we first introduce new modified Mann and Halpern's iterations for finding common fixed points of an infinite family of Bregman relatively nonexpansive mappings in the framework of Banach spaces. Furthermore, we prove the strong convergence theorems for the sequences produced by the methods. Finally, we apply these results for approximating zeroes of accretive operators. Our results improve and generalize many known results in the current literature.  相似文献

We give explicit rates of asymptotic regularity for iterations of strongly nonexpansive mappings T in general Banach spaces as well as rates of metastability (in the sense of Tao) in the context of uniformly convex Banach spaces when T is odd. This, in particular, applies to linear norm-one projections as well as to sunny nonexpansive retractions. The asymptotic regularity results even hold for strongly quasi-nonexpansive mappings (in the sense of Bruck), the addition of error terms and very general metric settings. In particular, we get the first quantitative results on iterations (with errors) of compositions of metric projections in CAT(?)-spaces (? > 0). Under an additional compactness assumption we obtain, moreover, a rate of metastability for the strong convergence of such iterations.  相似文献

In this paper we propose a new modified Mann iteration for computing common fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space. We give certain different control conditions for the modified Mann iteration. Then, we prove strong convergence theorems for a countable family of nonexpansive mappings in uniformly smooth Banach spaces. These results improve and extend results of Kim and Xu [T.H. Kim, H.K. In this paper we obtain a quadratic bound on the rate of asymptotic regularity for the Krasnoselski-Mann iterations of nonexpansive mappings in CAT(0)-spaces, whereas previous results guarantee only exponential bounds. The method we use is to extend to the more general setting of uniformly convex hyperbolic spaces a quantitative version of a strengthening of Groetsch's theorem obtained by Kohlenbach using methods from mathematical logic (so-called “proof mining”).  相似文献

In this paper, we study mappings, which approximately preserve angles between inner product spaces. We also introduce a notion of angle in normed spaces. The notion of angle, considered in this part, relates to the well-known Birkhoff–James orthogonality. Based on it, we express a characterization for approximate Birkhoff–James orthogonality, introduced in the literature, through this notion of angle. Then we return to the issue of mappings which approximately preserve angle stating some results in normed spaces.  相似文献

A demiclosed principle is proved for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense. In this paper, we give some new definitions of compatible mappings of types (I) and (II) in fuzzy metric spaces and prove some common fixed point theorems for four mappings under the condition of compatible mappings of types (I) and (II) in complete fuzzy metric spaces. Summary In this paper we consider several classes of mappings related to the class of contraction mappings by introducing a convexity condition with respect to the iterates of the mappings. Several fixed point theorems are proved for such mappings. Further, in a similar way we consider a related class of mappings satisfying a convexity condition with respect to diameters of bounded sets. In the last part we consider classes of mappings on PM- spaces (probabilistic metric spaces of K. Menger) and some fixed point theorems are given for such classes.  相似文献
