From the results of Dostanic [M.R. Dostanic, Asymptotic behavior of the singular values of fractional integral operators, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 175 (1993) 380-391] and V? and Gorenflo [Kim Tuan V?, R. Gorenflo, Singular values of fractional and Volterra integral operators, in: Inverse Problems and Applications to Geophysics, Industry, Medicine and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, 1995, Ho Chi Minh City Math. Soc., Ho Chi Minh City, 1995, pp. 174-185] it is known that the jth singular value of the fractional integral operator of order α>0 is approximately (πj)α for all large j. In this note we refine this result by obtaining sharp bounds for the singular values and use these bounds to show that the jth singular value is (πj)α[1+O(j−1)].  相似文献

We consider rank one perturbations Aα=A+α(⋅,φ)φ of a self-adjoint operator A with cyclic vector φH−1(A) on a Hilbert space H. The spectral representation of the perturbed operator Aα is given by a singular integral operator of special form. Such operators exhibit what we call ‘rigidity’ and are connected with two weight estimates for the Hilbert transform. Also, some results about two weight estimates of Cauchy (Hilbert) transforms are proved. In particular, it is proved that the regularized Cauchy transforms Tε are uniformly (in ε) bounded operators from L2(μ) to L2(μα), where μ and μα are the spectral measures of A and Aα, respectively. As an application, a sufficient condition for Aα to have a pure absolutely continuous spectrum on a closed interval is given in terms of the density of the spectral measure of A with respect to φ. Some examples, like Jacobi matrices and Schrödinger operators with L2 potentials are considered.  相似文献

A numerical integration method that has rapid convergence for integrands with known singularities is presented. Based on endpoint corrections to the trapezoidal rule, the quadratures are suited for the discretization of a variety of integral equations encountered in mathematical physics. The quadratures are based on a technique introduced by Rokhlin (1990). The present modification controls the growth of the quadrature weights and permits higher-order rules in practice. Several numerical examples are included.  相似文献

We consider the singular integral operator T with kernel K(x)=Ω(x)/n|x| and prove its boundedness on the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces provided that Ω satisfies a size condition which contains the case ΩLr(Sn−1), r>1.  相似文献

In this paper we give a formula for composition of two singular integral operators with variable co-efficients by explicitly calculating the lower order terms. Also we discuss the boundedness of the lower order terms inL p-spaces.  相似文献

On the basis of the Cauchy integral formulas for regular and biregular functions, we define some Cauchy-type singular integral operators. Then we discuss the Hlder continuous property of some singular integral operators with one integral variable. Then we divide a singular integral operator with two variables into three parts and prove its Hlder continuous property on the boundary.  相似文献

Some new weakly singular integral inequalities of Gronwall-Bellman type are established, which generalized some known weakly singular inequalities and can be used in the analysis of various problems in the theory of certain classes of differential equations, integral equations and evolution equations. Some applications to fractional differential and integral equations are also indicated.  相似文献

The relationship between the operator norms of fractional integral operators acting on weighted Lebesgue spaces and the constant of the weights is investigated. Sharp bounds are obtained for both the fractional integral operators and the associated fractional maximal functions. As an application improved Sobolev inequalities are obtained. Some of the techniques used include a sharp off-diagonal version of the extrapolation theorem of Rubio de Francia and characterizations of two-weight norm inequalities.  相似文献

Quadrature formulae are established for product integration rules based on discrete spline quasi-interpolants on a bounded interval. The integrand considered may have algebraic or logarithmic singularities. These formulae are then applied to the numerical solution of integral equations with weakly singular kernels.  相似文献

In this paper we develop a method for setting the compactness of the commutator relative to the singular integral operator acting on Hölder continuous functions over Ahlfors David regular surfaces in R n+1 . This method is based on the essential use of the monogenic decomposition of Hölder continuous functions. We also set forth explicit representations of the adjoints of the singular Cauchy type integral operators, relative to a total subset of real functionals.  相似文献

We find an exact asymptotic formula for the singular values of the integral operator of the form , a Jordan measurable set) where and L is slowly varying function with some additional properties. The formula is an explicit expression in terms of L and T.  相似文献

The composition of two Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operators is given explicitly in terms of the kernels of the operators. For φ?L1(Rn) and ε = 0 or 1 and ∝ φ = 0 if ε = 0, let Ker(φ) be the unique function on Rn + 1 homogeneous of degree ?n ? 1 of parity ε that equals φ on the hypersurface x0 = 1. Let Sing(φ, ε) denote the singular integral operator Sing(φ, ε)f(x0, x) = limδ → 0 ∝∝¦y0¦ ? δf(x0 ? y0, x ? y), Ker(φ)(y0, y) dy0 dy, which exists under suitable growth conditions on ? and φ. Then Sing(φ, ε1) Sing(ψ, ε2)f = ?2π2(∝ φ)(∝ ψ)f + Sing(A, ε1, + ε2)f, where
A(x)=limδ→0∫∫δ?|λ|?δ?1|λ+1|?1+?2n|λ|?2θ(x+λ(x?y))ψ(y)dλdy
(with notation ¦t¦0a = ¦t¦aand ¦t¦1a = ¦t¦asgn t). This result is used to show that the mapping ψA is a classical pseudo-differential operator of order zero if φ is smooth, with top-order symbol
ω0(x,?)=?πiθ(?)∫θ(x?y)sgn y·?dy if ?1=1
,
=?2θ(?)∫θ(x?y)log|y·?|dy if ?1=0
where θ(ξ) is a cut-off function. These results are generalized to singular integrals with mixed homogeneity.  相似文献

A class of singular integral operators is studied from the point of view of the boundedness of their action from some symmetric spaces into other spaces.Translated from Ukrainskii Matematicheskii Zhurnal, Vol. 43, No. 1, pp. 105–110, January, 1991.  相似文献
