We introduce the martingale Morrey spaces built on Banach function spaces. We establish the Doob's inequality, the Burkholder-Gundy inequality and the boundedness of martingale transforms for our martingale Morrey spaces. We also introduce the martingale block spaces. By the Doob's inequality on martingale block spaces, we obtain the Davis' decompositions for martingale Morrey spaces.  相似文献

Straight spaces are spaces for which a continuous map defined on the space which is uniformly continuous on each set of a finite closed cover is then uniformly continuous on the whole space. Previously, straight spaces have been studied in the setting of metric spaces. In this paper, we present a study of straight spaces in the more general setting of nearness spaces. In a subcategory of nearness spaces somewhat more general than uniform spaces, we relate straightness to uniform local connectedness. We investigate category theoretic situations involving straight spaces. We prove that straightness is preserved by final sinks, in particular by sums and by quotients, and also by completions.  相似文献

We investigate a number of spaces of functions on Riemann surfaces which are related to Bloch spaces and functions of bounded mean oscillation (BMO). These spaces are defined using properties for the corresponding function spaces on the unit disk in the complex plane, and we show that, in general, different properties lead to different function spaces. We catalogue almost completely the various relationships between these spaces.  相似文献

We study the spaces of left-invariant Riemannian metrics on a Lie group up to isometry, and up to isometry and scaling. In this paper, we see that such spaces can be identified with the orbit spaces of certain isometric actions on noncompact symmetric spaces. We also study some Lie groups whose spaces of left-invariant metrics up to isometry and scaling are small.  相似文献

We define generalized Lorentz-Zygmund spaces and obtain interpolation theorems for quasilinear operators on such spaces, using weighted Hardy inequalities. In the limiting cases of interpolation, we discover certain scaling property of these spaces and use it to obtain fine interpolation theorems in which the source is a sum of spaces and the target is an intersection of spaces. This yields a considerable improvement of the known results which we demonstrate with examples. We prove sharpness of the interpolation theorems by showing that the constraints on parameters are necessary for the interpolation theorems.  相似文献

We consider composition operators on spaces of analytic functions. First we give an elementary proof for the well-known fact that these operators are bounded on the usual Hardy spaces. Then, for more general spaces, we give two results concerning the question when composition operators are injective or onto, and get a complete answer for a class of spaces, including the Hardy spaces.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the analysis of function spaces modeled on Besov spaces and their applications to non-linear partial differential equations, with emphasis on the incompressible, isotropic Navier-Stokes system and semi-linear heat equations. Specifically, we consider the class, introduced by Hideo Kozono and Masao Yamazaki, of Besov spaces based on Morrey spaces, which we call Besov-Morrey or BM spaces. We obtain equivalent representations in terms of the Weierstrass semigroup and wavelets, and various embeddings in classical spaces. We then establish pseudo-differential and para-differential estimates. Our results cover non-regular and exotic symbols. Although the heat semigroup is not strongly continuous on Morrey spaces, we show that its action defines an equivalent norm. In particular, homogeneous BM spaces belong to a larger class constructed by Grzegorz Karch to analyze scaling in parabolic equations. We compare Karch's results with those of Kozono and Yamazaki and generalize them by obtaining short-time existence and uniqueness of solutions for arbitrary data with subcritical regularity. We exploit pseudo-differential calculus to extend the analysis to compact, smooth, boundaryless, Riemannian manifolds. BM spaces are defined by means of partitions of unity and coordinate patches, and intrinsically in terms of functions of the Laplace operator.

We find the necessary and sufficient conditions for product inequalities, convolution inequalities and embedding on weighted modulation spaces. We study reproducing kernel Hilbert and Pontryagin spaces of slice hyperholomorphic functions. These are analogs of the Hilbert spaces of analytic functions introduced by de Branges and Rovnyak. In the first part of the paper, we focus on the case of Hilbert spaces and introduce, in particular, a version of the Hardy space. Then we define Blaschke factors and Blaschke products and consider an interpolation problem. In the second part of the paper, we turn to the case of Pontryagin spaces. We first prove some results from the theory of Pontryagin spaces in the quaternionic setting and, in particular, a theorem of Shmulyan on densely defined contractive linear relations. We then study realizations of generalized Schur functions and of generalized Carathéodory functions.  相似文献

We consider Hardy spaces with variable exponents defined by grand maximal function on the Heisenberg group. Then we introduce some equivalent characterizations of variable Hardy spaces. By using atomic decomposition and molecular decomposition we get the boundedness of singular integral operators on variable Hardy spaces. In this paper, we introduce some new function spaces of Sobolev type on metric measure spaces. These new function spaces are defined by variants of Poincaré inequalities associated with generalized approximations of the identity, and they generalize the classical Sobolev spaces on Euclidean spaces. We then obtain two characterizations of these new Sobolev spaces including the characterization in terms of a variant of local sharp maximal functions associated with generalized approximations of the identity. For the well-known Hajłasz–Sobolev spaces on metric measure spaces, we also establish some new characterizations related to generalized approximations of the identity. Finally, we clarify the relations between the Sobolev-type spaces introduced in this paper and the Hajłasz–Sobolev spaces on metric measure spaces.  相似文献

We introduce local and global generalized Herz spaces. As one of the main results we show that Morrey type spaces and complementary Morrey type spaces are included into the scale of these Herz spaces. We also prove the boundedness of a class of sublinear operators in generalized Herz spaces with application to Morrey type spaces and their complementary spaces, based on the mentioned inclusion.

Herein, we generalize and extend some standard results on the separation and convergence of probability measures. We use homeomorphism-based methods and work on incomplete metric spaces, Skorokhod spaces, Lusin spaces or general topological spaces. Our contributions are twofold: we dramatically simplify the proofs of several basic results in weak convergence theory and, concurrently, extend these results to apply more immediately in a number of settings, including on Lusin spaces.  相似文献

We consider Hörmander type symbols on a family of spaces associated with non-negative self-adjoint operators, and we prove boundedness of the corresponding pseudodifferential operators on both classical and non-classical Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces. In this paper we discuss the instability of harmonic foliations on compact submanifolds immersed in Euclidean spaces and compact homogeneous spaces. We obtain a sufficient condition for a harmonic foliation to be unstable on compact submanifolds in a Euclidean space and on compact isotropy irreducible homogeneous spaces. We introduce the p-adic weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operator. We also obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions on weight functions to ensure the boundedness of that operator on the product of Lebesgue spaces, Morrey spaces, and central bounded mean oscillation spaces. In each case, we obtain the corresponding operator norms. We extend the concept of frame multiresolution analysis to a locally compact abelian group and use it to define certain weighted Banach spaces and the spaces of their antifunctionals. We define analysis and synthesis operators on these spaces and establish the continuity of their composition. Also, we prove a general result to characterize infinite trees in the above Banach spaces of antifunctionals. This paper paves the way for the study of corresponding problems associated with some other types of Banach spaceson locally compact abelian groups including modulation spaces.  相似文献
