We consider the Cauchy problem for a semilinear parabolic equation in divergence form with obstacle. We show that under natural conditions on the right-hand side of the equation and mild conditions on the obstacle, the problem has a unique solution and we provide its stochastic representation in terms of reflected backward stochastic differential equations. We also prove regularity properties and approximation results for solutions of the problem.  相似文献

We consider a semilinear partial differential equation (PDE) of non-divergence form perturbed by a small parameter. We then study the asymptotic behavior of Sobolev solutions in the case where the coefficients admit limits in C?esaro sense. Neither periodicity nor ergodicity will be needed for the coefficients. In our situation, the limit (or averaged or effective) coefficients may have discontinuity. Our approach combines both probabilistic and PDEs arguments. The probabilistic one uses the weak convergence of solutions of backward stochastic differential equations (BSDE) in the Jakubowski S-topology, while the PDEs argument consists to built a solution, in a suitable Sobolev space, for the PDE limit. We finally show the existence and uniqueness for the associated averaged BSDE, then we deduce the uniqueness of the limit PDE from the uniqueness of the averaged BSDE.  相似文献

We introduce a PDE approach to the large deviation principle for Hilbert space valued diffusions. It can be applied to a large class of solutions of abstract stochastic evolution equations with small noise intensities and is adaptable to some special equations, for instance to the 2D stochastic Navier–Stokes equations. Our approach uses a lot of ideas from (and in significant part follows) the program recently developed by Feng and Kurtz [J. Feng, T. Kurtz, Large Deviations for Stochastic Processes, in: Mathematical Surveys and Monographs, vol. 131, American Mathematical Society, Providence, RI, 2006]. Moreover we present easy proofs of exponential moment estimates for solutions of stochastic PDE.  相似文献

Variable coefficient and Wick-type stochastic nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equations are investigated. By using white noise analysis, Hermite transform and extended F-expansion method, we obtain a number of Wick versions of periodic-like wave solutions and periodic wave solutions expressed by various Jacobi elliptic functions for Wick-type stochastic and variable coefficient NLS equations, respectively. In the limit cases, the soliton-like wave solutions are showed as well. Since Wick versions of functions are usually difficult to evaluate, we get some nonWick versions of the solutions for Wick-type stochastic NLS equations in special cases.  相似文献

We present an efficient method for the numerical realization of elliptic PDEs in domains depending on random variables. Domains are bounded, and have finite fluctuations. The key feature is the combination of a fictitious domain approach and a polynomial chaos expansion. The PDE is solved in a larger, fixed domain (the fictitious domain), with the original boundary condition enforced via a Lagrange multiplier acting on a random manifold inside the new domain. A (generalized) Wiener expansion is invoked to convert such a stochastic problem into a deterministic one, depending on an extra set of real variables (the stochastic variables). Discretization is accomplished by standard mixed finite elements in the physical variables and a Galerkin projection method with numerical integration (which coincides with a collocation scheme) in the stochastic variables. A stability and convergence analysis of the method, as well as numerical results, are provided. The convergence is “spectral” in the polynomial chaos order, in any subdomain which does not contain the random boundaries.  相似文献

In a recent paper by Mnif [18], a solution to the portfolio optimization with stochastic volatility and constraints problem has been proposed, in which most of the model parameters are time-homogeneous. However, there are cases where time-dependent parameters are needed, such as in the calibration of financial models. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to generalize the work of Mnif [18] to the time-inhomogeneous case. We consider a time-dependent exponential utility function of which the objective is to maximize the expected utility from the investor’s terminal wealth. The derived Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman(HJB) equation, is highly nonlinear and is reduced to a semilinear partial differential equation (PDE) by a suitable transformation. The existence of a smooth solution is proved and a verification theorem presented. A multi-asset stochastic volatility model with jumps and endowed with time-dependent parameters is illustrated.  相似文献

Stochastic partial differential equations driven by Poisson random measures (PRMs) have been proposed as models for many different physical systems, where they are viewed as a refinement of a corresponding noiseless partial differential equation (PDE). A systematic framework for the study of probabilities of deviations of the stochastic PDE from the deterministic PDE is through the theory of large deviations. The goal of this work is to develop the large deviation theory for small Poisson noise perturbations of a general class of deterministic infinite dimensional models. Although the analogous questions for finite dimensional systems have been well studied, there are currently no general results in the infinite dimensional setting. This is in part due to the fact that in this setting solutions may have little spatial regularity, and thus classical approximation methods for large deviation analysis become intractable. The approach taken here, which is based on a variational representation for nonnegative functionals of general PRMs, reduces the proof of the large deviation principle to establishing basic qualitative properties for controlled analogues of the underlying stochastic system. As an illustration of the general theory, we consider a particular system that models the spread of a pollutant in a waterway.  相似文献

Summary. By the theory of quasi-regular Dirichletforms and the associated special standard processes, the existence of symmetric diffusion processes taking values in the space of non-negative integer valued Radon measures on and having Gibbs invariant measures associated with some given pair potentials is considered. The existence of such diffusions can be shown for a wide class of potentials involving some singular ones. Also, as a consequence of an application of stochastic calculus, a representation for the diffusion by means of a stochastic differential equation is derived. Recently, numerical solutions of stochastic differential equations have received a great deal of attention. Numerical approximation schemes are invaluable tools for exploring their properties. In this paper, we introduce a class of stochastic age-dependent (vintage) capital system with Poisson jumps. We also give the discrete approximate solution with an implicit Euler scheme in time discretization. Using Gronwall’s lemma and Barkholder-Davis-Gundy’s inequality, some criteria are obtained for the exponential stability of numerical solutions to the stochastic age-dependent capital system with Poisson jumps. It is proved that the numerical approximation solutions converge to the analytic solutions of the equations under the given conditions, where information on the order of approximation is provided. These error bounds imply strong convergence as the timestep tends to zero. A numerical example is used to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

We study a class of reflected backward stochastic differential equations with nonpositive jumps and upper barrier. Existence and uniqueness of a minimal solution are proved by a double penalization approach under regularity assumptions on the obstacle. In a suitable regime switching diffusion framework, we show the connection between our class of BSDEs and fully nonlinear variational inequalities. Our BSDE representation provides in particular a Feynman–Kac type formula for PDEs associated to general zero-sum stochastic differential controller-and-stopper games, where control affects both drift and diffusion term, and the diffusion coefficient can be degenerate. Moreover, we state a dual game formula of this BSDE minimal solution involving equivalent change of probability measures, and discount processes. This gives in particular a new representation for zero-sum stochastic differential controller-and-stopper games.  相似文献

The existence of martingale solutions of the hydrodynamic-type equations in 3D possibly unbounded domains is proved. The construction of the solution is based on the Faedo–Galerkin approximation. To overcome the difficulty related to the lack of the compactness of Sobolev embeddings in the case of unbounded domain we use certain Fréchet space. Besides, we use compactness and tightness criteria in some nonmetrizable spaces and a version of the Skorohod theorem in non-metric spaces. The general framework is applied to the stochastic Navier–Stokes, magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) and the Boussinesq equations.  相似文献

In [R. Buckdahn, B. Djehiche, J. Li, S. Peng, Mean-field backward stochastic differential equations. A limit approach. Ann. Probab. (2007) (in press). Available online: http://www.imstat.org/aop/future_papers.htm] the authors obtained mean-field Backward Stochastic Differential Equations (BSDE) associated with a mean-field Stochastic Differential Equation (SDE) in a natural way as a limit of a high dimensional system of forward and backward SDEs, corresponding to a large number of “particles” (or “agents”). The objective of the present paper is to deepen the investigation of such mean-field BSDEs by studying them in a more general framework, with general coefficient, and to discuss comparison results for them. In a second step we are interested in Partial Differential Equations (PDE) whose solutions can be stochastically interpreted in terms of mean-field BSDEs. For this we study a mean-field BSDE in a Markovian framework, associated with a McKean–Vlasov forward equation. By combining classical BSDE methods, in particular that of “backward semigroups” introduced by Peng [S. Peng, J. Yan, S. Peng, S. Fang, L. Wu (Eds.), in: BSDE and Stochastic Optimizations; Topics in Stochastic Analysis, Science Press, Beijing (1997) (Chapter 2) (in Chinese)], with specific arguments for mean-field BSDEs, we prove that this mean-field BSDE gives the viscosity solution of a nonlocal PDE. The uniqueness of this viscosity solution is obtained for the space of continuous functions with polynomial growth. With the help of an example it is shown that for the nonlocal PDEs associated with mean-field BSDEs one cannot expect to have uniqueness in a larger space of continuous functions.  相似文献

3D stochastic Navier-Stokes equations with a suitable nondegenerate noise are considered. Following a method introduced by Da Prato and Debussche, it is proved that every Markov process associated to the equations has a Strong Feller like continuity property with respect to initial conditions. We prove that any Markov solution to the 3D stochastic Navier-Stokes equations driven by a mildly degenerate noise (i.e. all but finitely many Fourier modes are forced) is uniquely ergodic. This follows by proving strong Feller regularity and irreducibility.  相似文献

Summary One-dimensional stochastic Ising systems with a local mean field interaction (Kac potential) are investigated. It is shown that near the critical temperature of the equilibrium (Gibbs) distribution the time dependent process admits a scaling limit given by a nonlinear stochastic PDE. The initial conditions of this approximation theorem are then verified for equilibrium states when the temperature goes to its critical value in a suitable way. Earlier results of Bertini-Presutti-Rüdiger-Saada are improved, the proof is based on an energy inequality obtained by coupling the Glauber dynamics to its voter type, linear approximation.  相似文献

In this paper we present some new applications of Lie symmetry analysis to problems in stochastic calculus. The major focus is on using Lie symmetries of parabolic PDEs to obtain fundamental solutions and transition densities. The method we use relies upon the fact that Lie symmetries can be integrated with respect to the group parameter. We obtain new results which show that for PDEs with nontrivial Lie symmetry algebras, the Lie symmetries naturally yield Fourier and Laplace transforms of fundamental solutions, and we derive explicit formulas for such transforms in terms of the coefficients of the PDE.  相似文献

The eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the Hilbert-Schmidt operators corresponding to the Wiener functionals of order 2, which give a rise of soliton solutions of the KdV equation, are determined. Two explicit expressions of the stochastic oscillatory integral with such Wiener functional as phase function are given; one is of infinite product type and the other is of Lévy's formula type. As an application, the asymptotic behavior of the stochastic oscillatory integral will be discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, a stochastic mean square version of Lax’s equivalence theorem for Hilbert space valued stochastic differential equations with additive and multiplicative noise is proved. Definitions for consistency, stability, and convergence in mean square of an approximation of a stochastic differential equation are given and it is shown that these notions imply similar results as those known for approximations of deterministic partial differential equations. Examples show that the assumptions made are met by standard approximations.  相似文献

The problem of nonlinear filtering of multiparameter random fields, observed in the presence of a long-range dependent spatial noise, is considered. When the observation noise is modelled by a persistent fractional Wiener sheet, several pathwise representations of the optimal filter are derived. The representations involve series of multiple stochastic integrals of different types and are particularly important since the evolution equations, satisfied by the best mean-square estimate of the signal random field, have a complicated analytical structure and fail to be proper (measure-valued) stochastic partial differential equations. Several of the above optimal filter representations involve a new family of strong martingale transforms associated to the multiparameter fractional Brownian sheet; the latter martingale family is of independent interest in fractional stochastic calculus of multiparameter random fields.  相似文献

We study the existence of multiple positive solutions for a superlinear elliptic PDE with a sign-changing weight. Our approach is variational and relies on classical critical point theory on smooth manifolds. A special care is paid to the localization of minimax critical points.  相似文献
