The magnetic field dependence of the average spin of a localized electron coupled to conduction electrons with an antiferromangetic exchange interaction is found for the ground state. In the magnetic field range μH∼0.5T c (T c is the Kondo temperature) there is an inflection point, and in the strong magnetic field range μHT c , the correction to the average spin is proportional to (T c /μ H)2. In zero magnetic field, the interaction with conduction electrons also leads to the splitting of doubly degenerate spin impurity states. Zh. éksp. Teor. The role of anisotropy of the coupling constant in the influence of nonmagnetic impurities on the behavior of the superconducting transition temperature T c is investigated in the high-temperature superconductor (HTSC) model, where high values of T c result from an increase in the density of states near the Fermi surface. It is shown that this model is more sensitive to impurities than the BCS model; Anderson compensation does not occur in the HTSC model, even for identical distributions of the densities of states in the superconducting and impurity channels, and the impurity contributions are no longer linear with respect to the impurity concentration in the vicinity of T c. Anisotropy of the superconducting gap Δ and the possibility of its disappearance at certain points on the Fermi surface due to various types of pairing are manifested in the stability of the superconducting phase against the influence of impurities. The positive muon spin relaxation method is applied to probe magnetic ordering in the superconducting phase of a high quality single crystal of La2−xSrxCuO4−σ (0.11≤x≤0.14). The well characterized crystal ofx=0.11 (T c=34.5 K) with nearly complete flux exclusion exhibits spin freezing at 8K(T f) with significant spin fluctuation up to 20 K. The onset of spin fluctuation andT f decrease against increasingx towardsx=0.15, suggesting an existence of a magnetic phase boundary aroundx whereT c becomes maximum.  相似文献

Variations in the temperature behavior of resistivity, ρ(T), in the ab plane of the anisotropic single-crystal high-T c superconductor BiSrCuO (2201 phase) have been observed at the insulator-metal (IM) transition. At low temperatures, as one approaches the transition, the Mott relation for two dimensions, ln ρT −1/3, changes to ln ρT −1/2, which corresponds to hopping conduction with a Coulomb gap in the density of states. Negative temperature slopes were revealed in the samples near the transition. Estimates suggest that superconductivity in these samples sets in from the Anderson insulator state. The behavior of the width of the superconducting transition and of the temperature of its onset, T con, at the IM transition has been studied from measurements of the ac magnetic susceptibility. It is shown that in the vicinity of the IM transition the superconducting transition becomes broader, and the onset of the transition T con shifts toward higher temperatures. This behavior is attributed to nonuniform superconductivity resulting from formation in the crystal of superconducting droplets with different values of T c , which is caused by fluctuations in the local density of states due to the inherent disorder in the crystal. In these conditions, superconductivity has a percolation character. Fiz. Tverd. Tela (St. Petersburg) 40, 1190–1194 (July 1998)  相似文献

We present a theory of superconductivity in doped insulators. In the magnetic metal state of the compound we obtain the self-consistency equations for the superconducting state in the spin-dependent impurity bands of both extended and localized states in the initial insulator gap. A BCS-type triplet pairing field is considered. We show that the superconducting gap in which single-electron extended states do not exist is overlapped by the distribution of the localized states. The formation of a latent superconducting gap is discussed in connection with the unusual properties of high-T c compounds. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor. The spin-spin relaxation rate 63 T 2 −1 of 63Cu nuclei in CuO2 layers is measured in the normal and superconducting states of the compound YBa2Cu3O6.9 (T c onset =94 K) subjected to radiation-induced disordering by a fast-neutron flux Φ to T c onset =68 K (Φ=7×1018 cm−2) and T c onset <4 K (Φ=12×1018 cm−2). It is found that as the structural disorder increases, the contribution of the indirect spin-spin interaction 63 T 2G −1 , which is related to the value of the spin susceptibility at the boundary of the Brillouin zone of the copper planes χs(q={π/a; π/a}), decreases slightly at the transition to the superconducting state for the initial sample and remains unchanged for the weakly disordered sample. This behavior of the short-wavelength contribution to the spin susceptibility attests to the stability of the x 2y 2 symmetry of the energy gap against structural disorder, in accordance with proposed theoretical models of Cooper pairing for high-T c cuprates. A reliable technique of local chemical characterization of multicomponent semiconductor solid solutions has been developed, and the possibility of its application to the SnTe-SnSe quaternary solid solutions doped with 16 at.% In verified. The behavior of the electrical resistivity of samples of these solid solutions at low temperatures, 0.4–4.2 K, has been studied. The critical temperature T c and the second critical magnetic field H c2 of the superconducting transition and their dependences on the solid-solution composition have been determined. The superconducting transition at T c≈2–3 K is due to hole filling of the In-impurity resonance states, and the observed variation of the superconducting transition parameters with increasing Se content in the solid solution is related to the extrema in the valence band and the In band of resonance states shifting with respect to one another. We investigate the spin Hall magnetoresistance (SMR) in niobium (Nb) attached to Y3Fe5O12 near the superconducting critical temperature (Tc) of Nb. The SMR vanishes after cooling the sample below Tc, and recovers if the temperature is raised. When a magnetic field larger than the critical field of Nb is applied, the SMR re‐emerges with an enhanced magnitude even if the temperature is below Tc. The experimental results demonstrate that the SMR could be completely suppressed by the coupling between superconducting condensation and spin–orbit interaction in superconductors. In addition to the fundamental physics on the charge–spin interactions in superconductors, our work adds a different dimension to superconducting spintronics. (© 2015 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH &Co. The influence of interlayer hoppings on the superconducting transition temperature (T c) in bilayer cuprates has been studied. The parameter of hopping between layers is expressed as t (k) = t (cos(k x ) − cos(k y ))2 and treated as a small perturbation for the states of two CuO2 planes described by the t-t′-t″-J* model. In the generalized mean field approximation for dx2 - y2{d_{{x^2} - {y^2}}} symmetry of the superconducting gap, neither the interlayer hopping or exchange interaction, nor the pair hopping between CuO2 layers provides an additional mechanism of Cooper pair formation or an increase in T c. In the concentration dependence of T c, the bilayer splitting of the upper Hubbard band of quasi-holes is manifested as two peaks with temperatures slightly lower than the maximum T c for a single-layer cuprate. Interlayer antiferromagnetic spin correlations suppress bilayer splitting.  相似文献

The relaxation of the superconducting transition temperature T c in YBa2Cu3O6.38 is investigated with increasing oxygen order in the CuOx plane under 1 GPa pressure and with decreasing oxygen order after the pressure is relieved. It is established that the oxygen disordering process is more rapid than the pressure-induced ordering process: The ratio of the relaxation times of T c in these processes τ ord/τ disord≈5. This behavior could be caused by different mechanisms of the pressure-induced increase in the Cu-O chain length and decrease of this length after pressure relief. Fiz. Tverd. In cuprates, in a view where pairing correlations set in at the pseudogap energy scale T* and acquire global coherence at a lower temperature Tc, the regionT c⪯ T ⪯ T* is a vast fluctuation regime.T c andT* vary differently with doping and the question remains about the doping trends of the relevant magnetic field scales: the field Hc2 bounding the superconducting response and the pseudogap closing field Hpg. In-plane thermal (Nernst) and our interlayer (tunneling) transport experiments in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+y report hugely different limiting magnetic fields. Here, based on pairing (and the uncertainty principle) combined with the definitions of the Zeeman energy and the magnetic length, we show that both fields convert to the same pseudogap scaleT* upon transformation as orbital and Zeeman critical fields, respectively. The region of superconducting coherence is confined to the ‘dome’ that coincides with the usual unique upper critical field Hc2 on the strongly overdoped side. We argue that the distinctly different orbital and the Zeeman limiting fields can co-exist owing to charge and spin degrees of freedom separated to different parts of the strongly anisotropic Fermi surface.  相似文献

We study the influence of spin exchange interaction of impurity scattering on critical temperature of anisotropic impure superconductors. The model of random non-magnetic and magnetic impurity are revised to cover the effect of spin exchange interaction. The sign of magnitude of the second-order Born scattering has been changed after consideration of the spin exchange interaction that also effects the form of Tc equation. We can get the general Tc equation that can be described well by anisotropic impure superconductors and covers all models done before.  相似文献

Measurements of the basal-plane resistivity ρ a(T,H) performed on highly oriented pyrolitic graphite, with magnetic field Hc-axis in the temperature interval 2–300K and fields up to 8 T, provide evidence for the occurrence of both field-induced and zero-field superconducting instabilities. Additionally, magnetization M(T,H) measurements suggest the occurrence of Fermi surface instabilities which compete with the superconducting correlations. Fiz. Tverd. Magnetization measurements were performed on a lanthanum manganite La0.9Sr0.1MnO3 single crystal in the temperature interval 4.2–300 K and magnetic field interval 50 Oe-55 kOe in two sample cooling regimes: 1) cooling down to 4.2 K in a high (55 kOe) magnetic field, and 2) cooling in a “zero” field. It is shown that the temperature dependences of the magnetization M(T) are substantially different in these regimes. Pronounced anomalies of M(T) were observed at temperatures T*=103 K and T c =145 K. The first anomaly is attributed to a structural transition, while the second one corresponds to a ferromagnet-paramagnet phase transition. The magnetization of a La0.9Sr0.1MnO3 single crystal in the cooling regimes studied shows typical “spin-glass” behavior. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor. Fiz. 68, No. 1, 39–43 (10 July 1998)  相似文献

The paramagnetic (μ-O) state formed at the oxygen site in high Tc LaSrCuO was used to probe an interaction between the localized moment of the paramagnetic electron and the conduction electrons via zero field μ- spin relaxation. The enhanced relaxation rates consistently observed in the superconducting state of various Sr concentrations are explained as an effect of spin‐pairing in the high Tc supercurrent. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

This papr discusses the results of the first investigation of the magnetic properties of the organic superconductor λ-(BETS)2GaCl4. It is shown that the transition to the superconducting state begins at T c≈7 K, which is considerably lower than the value T c≈10 K determined from resistive measurements. The estimated value of the critical current density turns out to be two orders of magnitude lower than in superconductors of the family κ-(ET)2 X. Zh. éksp. Teor. A superconducting transition in the temperature dependence of the ab-plane resistivity of underdoped YBa2Cu3O6+x crystals in the range T c≲30 K has been investigated. Unlike the case of samples with the optimal level of doping, the transition width increased insignificantly with magnetic field, and in the range T≲13 K it decreased with increasing magnetic field. The transition point T c(B) was determined by analyzing the fluctuation conductivity. The curves of B c2(T) measured in the region T/T c≳0.1 did not show a tendency to saturation and had a positive second derivative everywhere, including the immediate neighborhood of T c. The only difference among the curves of B c2(T) for different crystal states is the scales of Tand B, so they can be described in terms of a universal function, which fairly closely follows Alexandrov’s model of boson superconductivity. A theory of stabilization of a spin liquid in a Kondo lattice at temperatures close to the temperature of antiferromagnetic instability has been developed. Kondo exchange scattering of conduction electrons leads to emergence of a state of the spin liquid of the resonating valence bonds (RVB) type at T>T K. Owing to this stabilization, low-energy processes of Kondo scattering with energies below T K are frozen so that the “singlet” state of the Kondo lattice is not realized; instead a strongly correlated spin liquid with developed antiferromagnetic fluctuations occurs. A new version of the Feynman diagram technique has been developed to describe interaction between spin fluctuations and resonant valence bonds in a self-consistent manner. Emergence of a strongly anisotropic RVB spin liquid is discussed. Zh. éksp. Teor. Fiz. 112, 729–759 (August 1997)  相似文献

This paper reports on a study of the low-temperature conductivity and parameters of the superconducting state, namely, the critical temperature T c and the second critical magnetic field Hc2, in the (Pb0.3Sn0.7)0.95In0.05Te solid solution under hydrostatic pressure P ≤ 9 kbar at T = 4.2 K. The choice of this material has been motivated by the fact that, according to earlier observations, it undergoes a superconducting transition at T c ∼ 2.3 K, i.e., close to the maximum value T c ∼ 2.9 K found for the (Pb z Sn1 − z )0.95In0.05Te solid solutions with a lead content z ∼ 0.15–0.25. It has been demonstrated that an increase in the pressure to P ≤ 9 kbar leads to a bell-shaped dependence T c (P). The observed dependences are assigned to the effect of hydrostatic compression on the band structure of the solid solution and indicate a shift in the position of the Fermi level E F with increasing pressure within the impurity band of the In quasi-local states. In this case, E F passes through a maximum in the density of impurity states at P = 3–5 kbar.  相似文献

We unify the method of exchange perturbation theory for multicenter systems. For the case of exchange degeneracy in the total spin of the system we give a secular equation that is more compact and convenient for calculations than those obtained earlier. On the basis of this formalism we develop an algorithm for calculating the Heisenberg parameter for magnetic materials. Finally, we calculate the characteristics of antiferromagnetic transitions for the high-T c materials La2−x MeCuO4 and YBa2Cu3O6. Zh. éksp. Teor. Fiz. 113, 2129–2147 (June 1998)  相似文献
