A SOLUTION OF A GENERAL EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEM

Under the framework of a real Hilbert space, we introduce a new iterative method for finding a common element of the set of solution of a general equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive semigroup. Moreover, a numerical example is presented. This example grantee the main result of the paper.

In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inclusion for an inverse-strongly monotone mapping and a maximal monotone mapping in a real Hilbert space. Then we show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of two sets. Using the result, we consider the problem of finding a common fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping and a strictly pseudocontractive mapping in a real Hilbert space.

On the variation of a metric and its application

Some of the variation formulas of a metric were derived in the literatures by using the local coordinates system, In this paper, We give the first and the second variation formulas of the Riemannian curvature tensor, Ricci curvature tensor and scalar curvature of a metric by using the moving frame method. We establish a relation between the variation of the volume of a metric and that of a submanifold. We find that the latter is a consequence of the former. Finally we give an application of these formulas to the variations of heat invariants. We prove that a conformally flat metric g is a critical point of the third heat invariant functional for a compact 4-dimensional manifold M, then （M, g） is either scalar flat or a space form.     

On a Matrix Equation AX＋XB=C over a Skew Field

In this paper we study a matrix equation AX BX=C （Ⅰ）over an arbitrary skew field,and give a consistency criterion of （Ⅰ） and an explicit expression of general solutions of （Ⅰ）.A convenient,simple and practical method of solving （Ⅰ） is also given.As a particular case,we also give a simple method of finding a system of fundamental solutions of a homogeneous system of right linear equations over a skew field.     

CONVERGENCE ANALYSIS FOR SYSTEM OF EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEMS AND LEFT BREGMAN STRONGLY RELATIVELY NONEXPANSIVE MAPPING

In this paper, we prove strong convergence theorems for approximation of a fixed point of a left Bregman strongly relatively nonexpansive mapping which is also a solution to a finite system of equilibrium problems in the framework of reflexive real Banach spaces. We also discuss the approximation of a common fixed point of a family of left Bregman strongly nonexpansive mappings which is also solution to a finite system of equilibrium problems in reflexive real Banach spaces. Our results complement many known recent results in the literature.     

On Trees with Double Domination Number Equal to the 2-Outer-Independent Domination Number Plus One

A vertex of a graph is said to dominate itself and all of its neighbors.A double dominating set of a graph G is a set D of vertices of G,such that every vertex of G is dominated by at least two vertices of D.The double domination number of a graph G is the minimum cardinality of a double dominating set of G.For a graph G =(V,E),a subset D V(G) is a 2-dominating set if every vertex of V(G) \ D has at least two neighbors in D,while it is a 2-outer-independent dominating set of G if additionally the set V(G)\D is independent.The 2-outer-independent domination number of G is the minimum cardinality of a 2-outer-independent dominating set of G.This paper characterizes all trees with the double domination number equal to the 2-outer-independent domination number plus one.     

Decay rate of quasilinear wave equation with viscosity

This paper is concerned with the decay rate of solutions for a quasilinear wave equation with viscosity. We use a so-called energy perturbation method to establish decay rate of solutions in terms of energy norm for a class of nonlinear functions. With the help of a comparison lemma of differential inequalities, we establish a relationship between decay rate of solutions and f .     

Results of the maximum genus of graphs

In this paper,we provide a new class of up-embeddable graphs,and obtain a tight lower bound on the maximum genus of a class of 2-connected pseudographs of diameter 2 and of a class of diameter 4 multi-graphs.This extends a result of Skoviera.     

Star-shaped Differentiable Functions and Star-shaped Differentials

Based on the isomorphism between the space of star-shaped sets and the space of continuous positively homogeneous real-valued functions, the star-shaped differential of a directionally differentiable function is defined. Formulas for star-shaped differential of a pointwise maximum and a pointwise minimum of a finite number of directionally differentiable functions, and a composite of two directionaUy differentiable functions are derived. Furthermore, the mean-value theorem for a directionaUy differentiable function is demonstrated.     

On the Ratio Between 2-Domination and Total Outer-Independent Domination Numbers of Trees

A 2-dominating set of a graph G is a set D of vertices of G such that every vertex of V(G)\D has at least two neighbors in D.A total outer-independent dominating set of a graph G is a set D of vertices of G such that every vertex of G has a neighbor in D,and the set V(G)\D is independent.The 2-domination(total outer-independent domination,respectively)number of a graph G is the minimum cardinality of a 2-dominating(total outer-independent dominating,respectively)set of G.We investigate the ratio between2-domination and total outer-independent domination numbers of trees.     

ON A COMPLETE SET OF COMBINATORIAL INVARIANTS OF A TREE

The present paper will give out a representation sequence of path lengths anda set of combinatorial invariants of a tree.And it is shown that they are closelyrelated.Then a complete set of combinatorial invariants of a tree is obtained. QUOTIENT SPACE OF LMC-COMPACTIFICATION AS A SPACE OF z-FILTERS

The left multiplicative continuous compactification is the universal semigroup compactification of a semitopological semigroup.In this paper an internal construction of a quotient space of the left multiplicative continuous compactification of a semitopological semigroup is constructed as a space of z-filters.     

Orthogonality of Generalized (θ,φ)-Derivations on Ideals

In this paper,necessary and sufficient conditions concerning the orthogonality and the composition of a couple of generalized (θ,φ)-derivations on a nonzero ideal of a semiprime ring are presented.These results are generalizations of several results of Breˇsar and Vukman,which are related to a theorem of Posner on the product of two derivations on a prime ring.     

The Brio System with Initial Conditions Involving Dirac Masses: A Result Afforded by a Distributional Product

The Brio system is a 2 × 2 fully nonlinear system of conservation laws which arises as a simplified model in the study of plasmas. The present paper offers explicit solutions to this system subjected to initial conditions containing Dirac masses. The concept of a solution emerges within the framework of a distributional product and represents a consistent extension of the concept of a classical solution. Among other features, the result shows that the space of measures is not sufficient to contain all solutions of this problem.     

Integral Cayley Graphs over Finite Groups

We prove that the spectrum of a Cayley graph over a finite group with a normal generating set S containing with every its element s all generators of the cyclic group(s)is integral.In particular,a Cayley graph of a 2-group generated by a normal set of involutions is integral.We prove that a Cayley graph over the symmetric group of degree n no less than 2 generated by all transpositions is integral.We find the spectrum of a Cayley graph over the alternating group of degree n no less than 4 with a generating set of 3-cycles of the form(k i j)with fixed k,a s{-n+1,1-n+1,2^2-n+1,...,(n-1)2-n+1}.

Gromov hyperbolicity of periodic planar graphs

The study of hyperbolic graphs is an interesting topic since the hyperbolicity of a geodesic metric space is equivalent to the hyperbolicity of a graph related to it.The main result in this paper is a very simple characterization of the hyperbolicity of a large class of periodic planar graphs.     

ON THE ZEROS OF A CLASS OF POLYNOMIALS AND RELATED ANALYTIC FUNCTIONS

In this paper we prove some interesting extensions and generalizations of Enestrom- Kakeya Theorem concerning the location of the zeros of a polynomial in a complex plane. We also obtain some zero-free regions for a class of related analytic functions. Our results not only contain some known results as a special case but also a variety of interesting results can be deduced in a unified way by various choices of the parameters.     

Von Neumann Regularity and Quadratic Conorms in JB^＊-triples and C^＊-algebras

We revise the notion of von Neumann regularity in JB^＊-triples by finding a new characterisation in terms of the range of the quadratic operator Q（a）. We introduce the quadratic conorm of an element a in a JB^＊-triple as the minimum reduced modulus of the mapping Q（a）. It is shown that the quadratic conorm of a coincides with the infimum of the squares of the points in the triple spectrum of a. It is established that a contractive bijection between JBW^＊-triples is a triple isomorphism if, and only if, it preserves quadratic conorms. The continuity of the quadratic conorm and the generalized inverse are discussed. Some applications to C^＊-algebras and von Neumann algebras are also studied.
