The aim of this paper is to give a characterization of the (finitely) subdirectly irreducible double demi-p-lattices. First, we prove a congruence representation theorem for double demi-p-lattices, which is a natural analogue of the theorem given in [2] for double p-algebras. These results are inspired by the representation theorem given by Lakser [6] for p-algebras, and yield a natural approach to the study of subdirectly irreducible algebras.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that an indecomposable M-lattice is either a principal element domain or a special principal element lattice. Next, we introduce weak complemented elements and characterize reduced M-lattices in terms of weak complemented elements. We also study weak invertible elements and locally weak invertible elements in C-lattices and characterize reduced Prüfer lattices, WI-lattices, reduced almost principal element lattices, and reduced principal element lattices in terms of locally weak invertible elements.  相似文献

It follows from our result that if a quasi multiplicative function f satisfies the congruence f(n + p) f(n) (mod p) for all positive integers n and for all sufficiently large primes p, then there is a non-negative integer such that f(n) = n holds for all positive integers n. In particular, this gives an answer to the conjecture of Fabrykowski and Subbarao.  相似文献

Let G denote the isometry group of a regular tree of degree ≥3. The notion of congruence subgroup is introduced and finite generation of the congruence Hecke algebras is proven. Let U be congruence subgroup and (G; U) be the category of smooth representations of G generated by their U-fixed vectors. We also show that this subcategory is closed under taking subquotients. All these results are analogues of well-known results in the case of p-adic groups. It is also shown that the category of admissible representation of G is Noetherian in the sense that every subrepresentation of a finitely generated admissible representation is again finitely generated. Since we want to emphesize the similarities between these groups and p-adic groups, we give the same proofs which also work in the p-adic case whenever possible.  相似文献

We study representations of distributive -lattices, considered as join-semilattices, by semilattices of finitely generated two-sided ideals of locally matricial algebras over a field k, aiming to find a functorial solution of the problem. We find simple examples of a finite subcategory of the category Ld of distributive -lattices and of a subcategory of Ld corresponding to a partially ordered class which cannot be lifted with respect to the Idc functor. On the other hand, we prove that there is such a lifting of every diagram in Ld or of a subcategory Ld1 of Ld whose objects are all distributive -lattices and whose morphisms are -embeddings. We prove a representation theorem for Hausdorff locally convex (M)-lattices which are Dedekind σ-complete, and whose topologies are order σ-continuous and monotonically complete. These turn out to be the weighted spaces c0(T, H), defined in the paper for T ≠ and H T+. We also characterize the dual of c0(T, H), as the space l1 (T, H) defined in the last section. The known representation (on c0(T)) of Banach (M)-lattices with order continuous norm follows as a particular case. We obtain these results by first proving a new general isomorphism theorem, which seems to be of independent interest. Our notion of “monotonic topological completeness” is weaker than the usual completeness and seems to be very convenient in the framework of topological ordered vector spaces.  相似文献

Summary A characterization of compact sets in Lp (0, T; B) is given, where 1P and B is a Banach space. For the existence of solutions in nonlinear boundary value problems by the compactness method, the point is to obtain compactness in a space Lp (0,T; B) from estimates with values in some spaces X, Y or B where XBY with compact imbedding XB. Using the present characterization for this kind of situations, sufficient conditions for compactness are given with optimal parameters. As an example, it is proved that if {fn} is bounded in Lq(0,T; B) and in L loc 1 (0, T; X) and if {fn/t} is bounded in L loc 1 (0, T; Y) then {fn} is relatively compact in Lp(0,T; B), p相似文献

It is proved that the maximal operator of the Marczinkiewicz-Fejér meams of a double Walsh-Fourier series is bounded from the two-dimensional dyadic martingale Hardy space H p to L p (2/3<p<) and is of weak type (1,1). As a consequence we obtain that the Marczinkiewicz-Fejér means of a function fL 1 converge a.e. to the function in question. Moreover, we prove that these means are uniformly bounded on H p whenever 2/3<p<. Thus, in case fH p , the Marczinkiewicz-Fejér means conv f in H p norm. A nontrivial regular semigroup S with zero in which every interval of idempotents is a finite chain is said to be -regular. The structure of these semigroups is described in terms of trees of completely 0-simple semigroups. For S in this form, we study congruences which we express in terms of congruence aggregates. We determine the inclusion relation, meet and join of congruences, their kernel and trace, and the ends of the intervals which form their classes. We characterize those S for which the kernel relation on the congruence lattice is a congruence, and those for which the operators and are homomorphisms.  相似文献

This paper concerns the Galois theoretic behavior of the p-primary subgroup Sel A (F) p of the Selmer group for an Abelian variety A defined over a number field F in an extension K/F such that the Galois group G(K/F) is a p-adic Lie group. Here p is any prime such that A has potentially good, ordinary reduction at all primes of F lying above p. The principal results concern the kernel and the cokernel of the natural map s K/F Sel A (F) p Sel A (K) p G(K/F) where F is any finite extension of F contained in K. Under various hypotheses on the extension K/F, it is proved that the kernel and cokernel are finite. More precise results about their structure are also obtained. The results are generalizations of theorems of B.Mazurand M. Harris.  相似文献
