Using a resonance isobar model and an effective Lagrangian approach, from recent BES results on J/psi-->ppeta and psi-->pK+Lamda, we deduce the ratio between effective coupling constants of N*(1535) to KLamda and peta to be R=gN*(153)KLamda/gN*(1535)peta=1.3+/-0.3. With the previous known value of gN*(1535)peta, the obtained new value of gN*(1535)KLamda is shown to reproduce recent pp-->pK+Lamdanear-threshold cross section data as well. Taking into account this large N*KLamda coupling in the coupled channel Breit-Wigner formula for the N*(1535), its Breit-Wigner mass is found to be around 1400 MeV, much smaller than the previous value of about 1535 MeV obtained without including its coupling to KLamda. The implication on the nature of N*(1535) is discussed.  相似文献

Calculations are presented for the integral cross-sections ofN N, N N incorporating the one-particle intermediate state, theS11N * resonance; cross-sections are given for kinetic energies of the meson from 0 to 200 MeV for various values of the width of the resonance. The calculated cross-sections agree with experiment for r 160 MeV.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, Vol. 16, No. 7, pp. 119–122, July, 1973.We are indebted to our colleagueat the Institute G. Here we employ the extended chiral constituent quark model to investigate the five-quark com-ponents in the N~*(1535) resonance. The axial charge of N~*(1535) and the electromagnetic transition γ~*N→N~*(1535) are also analyzed. The results show that there may be sizable strangeness component in N~*(1535).  相似文献

A phenomenological model for the $ \overline{{K}}$ N $ \rightarrow$ K $ \Xi$ reaction is suggested. The model includes s and u channel exchanges by $ \Lambda$ , $ \Sigma$ , $ \Sigma$ (1385) , and $ \Lambda$ (1520) and s channel exchanges by above-threshold hyperonic resonances. The explicit expression for the propagator for a particle with spin 7/2 is presented. High-mass and high-spin resonances play a significant role in the process. We deal with the whole set of existing experimental data on the cross-sections and polarizations in the energy range from the threshold to 2.8GeV in the center-of-mass system and reach a good agreement with experiments. Applications of the model to other elementary reactions of $ \Xi$ production and to $ \Xi$ hypernuclear spectroscopy are briefly discussed.  相似文献

A high-quality double-polarization data set for the helicity dependence of the total and differential cross-sections for both channels in the region has been obtained in the framework of the GDH experiment. The experiment, performed at the Mainz microtron MAMI, used a 4 detection system, a circularly polarized photon beam, and a longitudinally polarized frozen-spin target. These data are included in the database to perform a multipole analysis to determine the properties of the -resonance. For the resonant (1232) multipoles we find a very good agreement with previous analyses, while the nonresonant ones show significant deviations.Received: 11 July 2003, Revised: 16 January 2004, Published online: 17 August 2004PACS: 13.60.Le Meson production - 14.20.Gk Baryon resonances with S = 0 - 25.20.Lj Photoproduction reactions  相似文献

The first observation of the and transitions by the Belle Collaboration allows us to do a complete isospin analysis of the decay modes. We find that their respective isospin phase shifts are very likely to lie in the ranges (or around ) and (or around ), although the possibility cannot be ruled out at present. Thus significant final-state rescattering effects possibly exist in such exclusive processes. We determine the spectator and color-suppressed spectator quark-diagram amplitudes of the and decays, and compare them with the corresponding quark-diagram amplitudes of the and decays. The effects of SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking are in most cases understandable in the factorization approximation, which works for the individual isospin amplitudes. Very instructive predictions are also obtained for the branching fractions of rare , and transitions.
