The reactionpp→p f (K + K -π+π-)p s , where theK + K ? π+π- system is centrally produced, has been studied at 300 GeV/c. TheK *0 \(K^{*0} \bar K^{*0} \) final state has been observed and the cross sections for its central production are found to be the same at 300 and 85 GeV/c. TheK *0 \(K^{*0} \bar K^{*0} \) final state appears to be produced as a non-resonant threshold enhancement. 相似文献

The CLAS collaboration and the CBELSA/TAPS collaboration reported the differential cross section data for K*0 photoproduction, and found that the t-channel K exchange dominates the production amplitudes at small scattering angles. The measurement of forward-angle parity spin asymmetry for the γ p → K*0Σ+ reaction, where the theoretical calculations show an unambiguous signal, would establish the role of the κ(800). The γ p → K*0Σ+ reaction, where the Σ+ was identified through missing mass, on a liquid hydrogen target was measured at the LEPS detector in the energy from threshold to 3.0 GeV by using a linearly polarized photon beam at SPring-8. Decay angular distributions in the rest frame of the K + π ? system were fit to extract spin-density matrix elements of the K*0 decay. 相似文献

We have studied \(D_s^ + \to K_0^{* + } \bar K^0\) and \(D_s^ + \to \bar K_0^{*0} K^ +\) decays in the factorization of the hadron currents approximation. The spectator model leads the decays have different but negligible branching ratios. We show, however, that the inclusion of annihilation contribution can enhance the branching ratios. We predict that \(B(D_s^ + \to \bar K_0^{*0} K^ + )\) and \(B(D_s^ + \to K_0^{* + } \bar K^0 )\) could be around 2%. 相似文献

We find the time evolution of the system of two non-interacting unstable particles, distinguishable as well as identical ones, in arbitrary reference frame having only the Kraus operators governing the evolution of its components in the rest frame. We than calculate in the rigorous way Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen quantum correlation functions for system in the singlet state taking into account CP-violation and decoherence and show that the results are exactly the same despite the fact we treat kaons as distinguishable or identical particles which means that the statistics of the particles plays no role, at least in considered cases. 相似文献

The angular distributions and the partial branching fraction of the decay B0 → K*0 μ+ μ- are studied by using an integrated luminosity of 0.37 fb(-1) of data collected with the LHCb detector. The forward-backward asymmetry of the muons, A(FB), the fraction of longitudinal polarization, F(L), and the partial branching fraction dB/dq2 are determined as a function of the dimuon invariant mass. The measurements are in good agreement with the standard model predictions and are the most precise to date. In the dimuon invariant mass squared range 1.00-6.00 GeV2/c4, the results are A(FB)=-0.06(-0.14)(+0.13)±0.04, F(L)=0.55±0.10±0.03, and dB/dq2=(0.42±0.06±0.03)×10(-7) c4/GeV2. In each case, the first error is statistical and the second systematic. 相似文献

We show how parton distributions unintegrated over the parton transverse momentum, k t , may be generated, at NLO accuracy, from the known integrated (DGLAP-evolved) parton densities determined from global data analyses. A few numerical examples are given, which demonstrate that sufficient accuracy is obtained by keeping only the LO splitting functions together with the NLO integrated parton densities. However, it is important to keep the precise kinematics of the process, by taking the scale to be the virtuality rather than the transverse momentum, in order to be consistent with the calculation of the NLO splitting functions. 相似文献

The reactions \(K^ - Be \to {}^(\bar K^) *^0 (890)X,\pi ^ - Be \to {}^(\bar K^) *^0 (890)X\) , have been studied in a 175 GeV unseparated hadron beam in the kinematic range 0<x F <1.0 andp T 2 <5 GeV2. Integrated cross-sections and the dependence of the cross-sections on the longitudinal and transverse momentum are presented, together with quark counting rules predictions. $ \bar Bd \to \bar K*^0 $ μ + μ ? is a rare flavor-changing neutral-current decay. It proceeds via a b → s quark transition and is sensitive to many classes of new physics model. In this article the theoretical framework relevant to making a measurement at LHCb, the precision flavor experiment at the Large Hadron Collider, will be introduced. Progress made towards using a full angular analysis to extract A FB, the forward-backward asymmetry of the μ pair, will be covered and its implications for the precision of the A FB zero-crossing-point measurement discussed. 相似文献
