This paper discusses the synchronization and anti-synchronization of new uncertain fractional-order unified chaotic systems (UFOUCS). Based on the idea of active control, a novel active pinning control strategy is presented, which only needs a state of new UFOUCS. The proposed controller can achieve synchronization between a response system and a drive system, and ensure the synchronized robust stability of new UFOUCS. Numerical simulations of new UFOUCS show that the controller can make fractional-order unified chaotic systems (FOUCS) achieve synchronization or anti-synchronization in a quite short period and both are of good robust stability.  相似文献

This paper addresses the design of simple state feedback controllers for synchronization and anti-synchronization of chaotic oscillators under input saturation and disturbance. By employing sector condition, linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based sufficient conditions are derived to design (global or local) controllers for chaos synchronization. The proposed local synchronization strategy guarantees a region of stability in terms of difference between states of the master–slave systems. This region of stability can be enlarged by means of an LMI-based optimization algorithm, through which asymptotic synchronization of chaotic oscillators can be ensured for a large difference in their initial conditions. Further, a novel LMI-based robust control strategy is developed, for local synchronization of input-constrained chaotic oscillators, by providing an upper bound on synchronization error in terms of disturbance and initial conditions of chaotic systems. Moreover, the proposed robust state feedback control methodology is modified to provide an inaugural treatment for robust anti-synchronization of chaotic systems under input saturation and disturbance. The results of the proposed methodologies are verified through numerical simulations for synchronization and anti-synchronization of the master–slave chaotic Chua’s circuits under input saturation.  相似文献

We use the master stability formalism to discuss one- and two-cluster synchronization of coupled Tchebycheff map networks. For diffusively coupled map systems, the one-cluster synchronized dynamics is given by the behaviour of the individual maps, and the coupling only determines the stability of the coherent state. For the case of non-diffusive coupling and for two-cluster synchronization, the synchronized dynamics on networks is different from the behaviour of the single individual map. Depending on the coupling, we study numerically the characteristics of various forms of the resulting synchronized dynamics. The stability properties of the respective one-cluster synchronized states are discussed for arbitrary network structures. For the case of two-cluster synchronization on bipartite networks we also present analytical expressions for fixed points and zig-zag patterns, and explicitly determine the linear stability of these orbits for the special case of ring-networks.  相似文献

In this paper, the analytical conditions for a periodically forced Duffing oscillator synchronized with a chaotic pendulum are developed through the theory of discontinuous dynamical systems. From the analytical conditions, the synchronization invariant domains are developed. For a better understanding of synchronization of two different dynamical systems, the partial and full synchronizations of the Duffing oscillator with the chaotic pendulum are presented for illustrations. The control parameter map is developed from the analytical conditions. Under special parameters, the two systems can be fully and partially synchronized. Since the forced pendulum has librational and rotational chaotic motions, the periodically forced Duffing oscillator can be synchronized only with the librational chaotic motions of the pendulum. It is impossible for the forced Duffing oscillator to be synchronized with the rotational chaotic motions.  相似文献

This paper aims at synchronization and anti-synchronization between Lu chaotic system, a member of unified chaotic system, and recently developed Bhalekar–Gejji chaotic system, a system which cannot be derived from the member of unified chaotic system. These synchronization and anti-synchronization have been achieved by using nonlinear active control since the parameters of both the systems are known. Lyapunov stability theory is used and required condition is derived to ensure the stability of error dynamics. Controller is designed by using the sum of relevant variables in chaotic systems. Simulation results suggest that proposed scheme is working satisfactorily.  相似文献

Chaos synchronization, as an important topic, has become an active research subject in nonlinear science. Over the past two decades, chaos synchronization between nonlinear systems has been extensively studied, and many types of synchronization have been announced. This paper introduces another novel type of chaos synchronization – full state hybrid projective synchronization (FSHPS), which includes complete synchronization, anti-synchronization and projective synchronization as its special item. Based on the Lyapunov’s direct method, the general FSHPS scheme is given and illustrated with Lorenz chaotic system and hyperchaotic Chen system as examples. Numerical simulations are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

A special full-state hybrid projective synchronization type is proposed in this paper. The anti-synchronization and complete synchronization can be achieved simultaneously in this new synchronization phenomenon. We point out how to realize this synchronization in chaotic systems: anti-synchronization in symmetrical coordinate subspace and complete synchronization in its normal coordinate subspace. Two illustrative examples, multi-scroll chaotic system by the partial Lyapunov stability theory, and a four-dimensional chaotic system by the invariance principle of differential equation are presented to exhibit this new synchronization.  相似文献

This study demonstrates that synchronization and anti-synchronization can coexist in Chen–Lee chaotic systems by direct linear coupling. Based on Lyapunov’s direct method, a linear controller was designed to assure that two different types of synchronization can simultaneously be achieved. Further, the hybrid projective synchronization of Chen–Lee chaotic systems was studied using a nonlinear control scheme. The nonlinear controller was designed according to the Lyapunov stability theory to guarantee the hybrid projective synchronization, including synchronization, anti-synchronization, and projective synchronization. Finally, numerical examples are presented in order to illustrate the proposed synchronization approach.  相似文献

In this letter a new watermarking scheme for color image is proposed based on a family of the pair-coupled maps. Pair-coupled maps are employed to improve the security of watermarked image, and to encrypt the embedding position of the host image. Another map is also used to determine the pixel bit of host image for the watermark embedding. The purpose of this algorithm is to improve the shortcoming of watermarking such as small key space and low security. Due to the sensitivity to the initial conditions of the introduced pair-coupled maps, the security of the scheme is greatly improved.  相似文献

This study demonstrates that synchronization and anti-synchronization can coexist in two-degree-of-freedom dissipative gyroscope system with input nonlinearity. Because of the nonlinear terms of the gyroscope system, the system exhibits complex motions containing regular and chaotic motions. Using the variable structure control technique, a novel control law is established which guarantees the hybrid projective synchronization including synchronization, anti-synchronization and projective synchronization even when the control input nonlinearity is present. By Lyapunov stability theory with control terms, two suitable sliding surfaces are proposed to ensure the stability of the controlled closed-loop system in sliding mode, and two variable structure controllers (VSC) are designed to guarantee the hitting of the sliding surfaces. Numerical simulations are presented to verify the proposed synchronization approach.  相似文献

We study geometric and statistical properties of complex rational maps satisfying a non-uniform hyperbolicity condition called “Topological Collet-Eckmann”. This condition is weaker than the “Collet-Eckmann” condition. We show that every such map possesses a unique conformal probability measure of minimal exponent, and that this measure is non-atomic, ergodic, and that its Hausdorff dimension is equal to the Hausdorff dimension of the Julia set. Furthermore, we show that there is a unique invariant probability measure that is absolutely continuous with respect to this conformal measure, and that this invariant measure is exponentially mixing (it has exponential decay of correlations) and satisfies the Central Limit Theorem.We also show that for a complex rational map the existence of such invariant measure characterizes the Topological Collet-Eckmann condition: a rational map satisfies the Topological Collet-Eckmann condition if, and only if, it possesses an exponentially mixing invariant measure that is absolutely continuous with respect to some conformal measure, and whose topological support contains at least 2 points.  相似文献

We consider the density of states measure of the Fibonacci Hamiltonian and show that, for small values of the coupling constant V, this measure is exact-dimensional and the almost everywhere value d V of the local scaling exponent is a smooth function of V, is strictly smaller than the Hausdorff dimension of the spectrum, and converges to one as V tends to zero. The proof relies on a new connection between the density of states measure of the Fibonacci Hamiltonian and the measure of maximal entropy for the Fibonacci trace map on the non-wandering set in the V-dependent invariant surface. This allows us to make a connection between the spectral problem at hand and the dimension theory of dynamical systems.  相似文献

This paper discusses a new energy resource chaotic system. It investigates basically dynamical behaviors of this new system. It also addresses the synchronization problem of two energy resource systems in the presence of different unknown system parameters. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive control law is derived to make the states of two energy resource systems with different unknown system parameters asymptotically synchronized. Many biological and chemical systems could be modeled by a population of oscillators coupled indirectly via a dynamical environment. Essentially, the environment by which the individual element communicates with each other is heterogeneous. Nevertheless, most of previous works considered the homogeneous case only. Here we investigated the dynamical behaviors in a population of spatially distributed chaotic oscillators immersed in a heterogeneous environment. Various dynamical synchronization states (such as oscillation death, phase synchronization, and complete synchronized oscillation) as well as their transitions were explored. In particular, we uncovered a non-traditional quorum sensing transition: increasing the population density leaded to a transition from oscillation death to synchronized oscillation at first, but further increasing the density resulted in degeneration from complete synchronization to phase synchronization or even from phase synchronization to desynchronization. The underlying mechanism of this finding was attributed to the dual roles played by the population density. What’s more, by treating the environment as another component of the oscillator, the full system was then effectively equivalent to a locally coupled system. This fact allowed us to utilize the master stability functions approach to predict the occurrence of complete synchronization oscillation, which agreed with that from the direct numerical integration of the system. The potential candidates for the experimental realization of our model were also discussed.  相似文献

This paper aims to discuss our research into synchronized transitions in two reciprocally gap-junction coupled bursting pancreatic β-cells. Numerical results revealed that propagations of synchronous states could be induced not only by changing the coupling strength, but also by varying the slow time constant. Firstly, these asynchronous and synchronous states such as out-of-phase, almost in-phase and in-phase synchronization were specifically demonstrated by phase portraits and time evolutions. By comparing interspike intervals (ISI) bifurcation diagrams of two coupled neurons with an individual neuron, we found that coupling strength played a critical role in tonic-to-bursting transitions. In particular, with the phase difference and ISI-distance being introduced, regions of various synchronous and asynchronous states were plotted in a two-dimensional parameter space. More interestingly, it was found that the coupled neurons could always realize complete synchronization as long as the coupling strength was appropriate.  相似文献
