A study is made of the problem of the motion of an incompressible viscous fluid in the space between two coaxial disks rotating together with constant angular velocity under the assumption that the pressure changes in time in accordance with a harmonic law. The problem is solved using the equations of unsteady motion of an incompressible viscous fluid in a thin layer. It is shown that the velocity field in this case is a superposition on a steady field of damped oscillations with cyclic frequency equal to twice the angular velocity of the disks and forced oscillations with cyclic frequency equal to the cyclic frequency of the oscillations of the pressure field. It is shown that the amplitude of the forced oscillations of the velocity field depends strongly on the ratio of the cyclic frequency of the oscillations of the pressure field to the angular velocity of the disks. It is shown that there is a certain value of the ratio at which the amplitude of the forced oscillations has a maximal value (resonance). It is shown that even for very small amplitudes of the pressure oscillations the amplitude of the oscillations of the relative velocity at resonance may reach values comparable with the mean velocity of the main flow.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 1, pp. 166–169, January–February, 1984.  相似文献

The results of an experimental investigation of the three-dimensional stability of a boundary layer with a pressure gradient are presented. A low-turbulence subsonic wind tunnel was employed. The development of a three-dimensional wave packet of oscillations harmonic in time in the boundary layer on a model wing is studied. The amplitudephase distributions of the pulsations in the wave packet are subjected to a Fourier analysis. Spectral (with respect to the wave numbers) decomposition of the oscillations enables the flow stability with respect to plane waves with different directions of propagation to be examined. The results are compared with the corresponding data obtained in flat plate experiments. The effect of the pressure gradient on the development of the three-dimensional spectral components of the disturbances and the dispersion properties of the flow is analyzed.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 85–91, May–June, 1988.  相似文献

A series of papers has been devoted to questions of gas bubble dynamics in viscoeiastic liquids. Of these papers we mention [1–4]. The radial oscillations of a gas bubble in an incompressible viscoeiastic liquid have been studied numerically in [1, 2] using Oldroyd's model [5]. Anexact solution was found in [3], and independently in [4], for the equation of small density oscillations of a cavity in an Oldroyd medium when there is a periodic pressure change at infinity. The analysis of bubble oscillations in a viscoeiastic liquid is complicated by properties of limiting transitions in the rheological equation of the medium. These properties are of particular interest for the problem under investigation. These properties are discussed below, and characteristics of the small oscillations of a bubble in an Oldroyd medium are investigated on the basis of a numerical analysis of the exact solution obtained in [3].Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 3, pp. 82–87, May–June, 1976.The authors are grateful to V. The linear problem is considered of a localized vibrator mounted on a flat plate in a subsonic boundary layer. The plate and the vibrator are assumed to be heat-insulated, and the dimensions of the vibrator and the frequency of the oscillations are such that the flow may be described by means of the equations of a boundary layer with self-induced pressure. The amplitude of the oscillations of the vibrator and the perturbations of the flow parameters corresponding to it are assumed to be small, and this makes it possible to linearize these equations. Integral transformations are used to construct a solution for values of the time greatly exceeding the period of the oscillations of the vibrator. The profiles of the perturbations of the longitudinal velocity are calculated in dependence on the transverse coordinate for various values of the longitudinal coordinate. A comparison is made with the profiles of the perturbations of the longitudinal velocity which have been obtained experimentally.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 61–67, May–June, 1987.  相似文献

The evolution of a small distortion of the spherical shape of a gas bubble which undergoes strong radial expansion-compression upon a single oscillation of the ambient liquid pressure under a harmonic law are analyzed by numerical experiments. It is assumed that the distortions of the spherical bubble shape are axisymmetric and have the form of individual spherical surface harmonics with numbers of 2–5. Bubble-shape oscillations prior to the beginning of expansion are taken into account. Generally, the distortion value during bubble expansion-compression depends on the phase of bubble-shape oscillation at the beginning of the expansion (initial phase). Emphasis is placed on the dependence of the maximum distortions in the initial phase at certain characteristic times of bubble expansion-compression on the amplitude of the external excitation, liquid viscosity, and distortion mode (harmonic number). The parameters of the problem are typical of the stable periodic sonolumiescence of an individual air bubble in water at room temperature. An exception is the liquid pressure oscillation amplitude, which is varied up to values that are five times the static pressure. That large excitation amplitudes are beyond the stability threshold of periodic oscillations of spherical bubbles. Their consideration is of interest from the point of view of increasing the compression ratio of the bubble gas, i. e., increasing the maximum temperature and density achievable in the final compression stage.__________Translated from Prikladnaya Mekhanika i Tekhnicheskaya Fizika, Vol. 46, No. 4, pp. 17–28, July–August, 2005.  相似文献

The problem of calculating the nonstationary aerodynamic characteristics of a cascade of thin lightly loaded airfoils in a subsonic flow with the formation of thin separation zones of finite extent is solved approximately. As in [1–5], an approach based on a linear small-perturbation analysis, within which the flow is assumed to be inviscid, is employed and the boundaries of the unsteady separation zones are simulated by oscillating lines of contact discontinuity. However, instead of the requirement of a given fixed pressure at the boundary of the separation zone, used in [1–5], this study proposes a more general condition according to which on each element of length of the thin separation layer the pressure oscillates with an amplitude proportional to the local value of the amplitude of its thickness oscillations. The problem is reduced to a system of two singular integral equations which can be solved numerically.Moscow. The stability of steady regimes of filtration of a gas—liquid mixture at pressure lower than the saturation pressure is studied for the case of a nonmonotonic dependence of the relative phase permeability of the liquid on the gas saturation. It is shown that periodic self–oscillations can appear, and their evolution leads to deterministic chaos due to the appearance and destruction of quasiperiodic motions.  相似文献

Unsteady-state plane radial flow induced by a well in a thin deformable stratum is studied taking into account the stratum interaction with the adjacent rocks. The stratum permeability is assumed to depend on the lateral deformation. The behavior of the well productivity properties for harmonic reservoir pressure oscillations and after pressure drawdown in a bilayered stratum is analyzed. Steady-state well behavior under these conditions was studied in [1]. A qualitative estimate of the well productivity variation due to a stepwise pressure change in an adjacent stratum was previously derived in [2].Kazan'. In the present paper, we consider the shock–free breakup of droplets in their encounter with a layer (sheet) of a moving gas in the absence of pressure perturbations when the droplets are affected by a short U–shaped pulse of aerodynamic forces. Under a high pressure of the ambient gas medium p0 = 20—80 bar, the droplets (ethanol or liquid oxygen) have a chance to break up after stay in a thing (2—5 mm thick) gas layer (jet) moving with a velocity of 1—10 m/sec. A distinctive feature of the process is that the characteristic time of droplet deformation and the period of natural oscillations coincide with the residence time for the droplets in the region of their interaction with the gas stream. Empirical formulas are proposed for determination of the total breakup time and the duration of the droplet disintegration stage in shock–free breakup.  相似文献

A study is made in the quasione-dimensional inertialess approximation of the axisymmetric flow of a Newtonian fluid in a tube of finite length made of a nonlinear active material with the capability of reducing deformations in response to an increase in tensile stresses [1, 2]. A study is made of the influence of the frequency and amplitude of forced oscillations of pressure at the entrance of the tube on its flow rate characteristics and on the behavior of the tube, depending on its length and certain rheological parameters. The first attempts at a study within the framework of this model of flow for unsteady conditions at the ends of the tube and in the ambient medium are described in [3, 4]. A general solution of this problem for external periodic disturbances of low amplitude is constructed in [5]. The present study gives an analysis of certain results of the numerical solution of an analogous problem for a wide range of variations in the frequency and amplitude of the pressure oscillations at the entrance to the tube.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 88–90, March–April, 1985.  相似文献

Nonlinear Tolmin-Schlichting waves are studied [1–8]. The investigation is carried out by means of a modified Stuart-Watson method [1–3]. In the case of a rigid regime of excitation terms to the fifth order are taken into account in expansions with respect to the amplitude of self-excited oscillations. The stability of self-excited oscillations with respect to two- and three-dimensional disturbances is examined.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 40–45, September–October, 1978.The author thanks S. A numerical calculation is made of small oscillations of a viscous incompressible fluid that fills half of a horizontal cylindrical channel. The calculation is made with and without allowance for surface tension. The results of the calculation show that allowance for surface tension increases the damping of the oscillations. The general properties of problems of the normal oscillations of a heavy and capillary viscous incompressible fluid were studied in [1–3], in which the possibility of applying the Bubnov-Galerkin method to these problems was pointed out. A method for calculating the oscillations of a viscous incompressible fluid that partly fills an arbitrary vessel at large Reynolds numbers was developed in [3–5].Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 128–132, May–June, 1980.  相似文献

Effect of acoustic oscillations on the stability of a plane jet   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The problem of the effect of acoustic oscillations on the stability of a compressible ideal-fluid jet flow is examined in the case of a plane jet with standing acoustic waves superimposed across it. The method of dividing the motion into fast and slow with allowance for nonlinear acoustic effects is employed. The acoustic oscillations are found to affect the growth rate of unstable hydrodynamic disturbances.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 54–60, July–August, 1991.  相似文献

A study is made of one-dimensional nonlinear oscillations of an ideal gas in a pipe one end of which is closed, the pressure being given at the other end and periodically varying with the time. For frequencies close to the subresonance ones, asymptotic equations are obtained which govern the periodic motions of the gas. By numerical modeling of nonisothermal filtration of multicomponent oil with allowance for the Joule—Thomson effect, adiabatic effect, and heat of phase transitions that occur during oil degassing and paraffin crystallization, the formation of profiles of phase–saturation, concentrations of oil components, and temperature in oil beds is studied. It is shown that consideration of many components results in occurrence of phase–transition fronts during degassing of oil components and paraffin crystallization. In turn, paraffin crystallization gives rise to temperature oscillations. Depending on the initial paraffin concentration and on the ratio of phase–transition heats for oil degassing and paraffin crystallization in an oil bed, either decaying or steady–state temperature oscillations are observed.  相似文献

Unsteady problems are solved numerically for the system of one-dimensional quasilinear equations describing the flow in the capillaries of the circulatory system and the mass transfer between a capillary and the surrounding tissue. The effect of oscillations of the entrance pressure and the passage of a protein concentration jump on the characteristics of the system is investigated. The influence of the degree and nonuniformity of capillary wall permeability and lymphatic drainage factors is also examined. The sphere of applicability of the equations and the possibility of an analytical investigation of capillary flow are discussed.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 14–20, July–August, 1986.  相似文献

The main hydrodynamic coefficients of equations, describing large oscillations of an ideal incompressible and homogeneous liquid in tanks having the form of a cylindrical sector are calculated. Nonlinear oscillations of a liquid in cylindrical containers have been investigated in [1–3]. Here we use the method of solving some nonlinear problems of the oscillations of an ideal liquid in arbitrary containers, proposed in [4]. The dependence of the calculated coefficients on the geometrical parameters of the tank, which is important in practical applications, is analyzed.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 124–131, September–October, 1970.The authors thank G. Many articles have appeared on the problems of small oscillations of an ideal liquid acted upon by surface-tension forces. Oscillations of a liquid with a single free surface are treated in [1, 2]. Oscillations of an arbitrary number of immiscible liquids bounded by equilibrium surfaces on which only zero volume oscillations are assumed possible are investigated in [3], We consider below the problem of the oscillations of an ideal liquid with two free surfaces on each of which nonzero volume disturbances are kinematically possible. The disturbances satisfy the condition of constant total volume. A method of solution is presented. The problem of axisymmetric oscillations of a liquid sphere in contact with the periphery of a circular opening is considered neglecting gravity. The first two eigenfrequencies and oscillatory modes are found.Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 3, pp. 64–71, May–June, 1976.In conclusion, the author thanks F. In a number of cases of supersonic flow past bodies with recesses pulsations in the flow arise [1–3]. Experiments [4, 5] indicate that stabilization of the steady supersonic flow past the body with a recess on which a shock wave is incident takes place after a series of oscillations of the bow wave. Numerical calculation of the interaction of a supersonic jet with a cylindrical cavity [6] reveals that damped pressure pulsations arise inside the cavity if the jet is homogeneous, and undamped pulsations it is inhomogeneous. The authors explain the damping of the pulsations by the influence of artificial viscosity. This paper investigates experimentally and theoretically (by numerical methods) the oscillations of the bow shock wave and the parameters of the flow behind it in the case of unsteady reflection of a shock wave from a body with a cylindrical recess turned towards the flow. The problem is posed as follows. A plane shock wave with constant parameters impinges on a cylinder with a cavity. The unsteady flow originating from this interaction is investigated.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 199–202, September–October, 1984.  相似文献
