利用电势和磁标势的第一类零阶贝塞尔函数的公式及拓扑绝缘体材料的本构关系, 推导了点电荷在电介质、 拓扑绝缘体和接地导体三个区域的感应电势及感应磁标势. 研究表明: 点电荷 在电介质、 拓扑绝缘体和接地导体中感应了像电荷和像磁单极; 感应像电荷和感应像磁单极的大小和正负除了与场源电荷、 拓扑绝缘体材料参数等因素有关外, 还与像电荷和像磁单极所处的空间位置有关.  相似文献

We propose explicit recipes to construct the Euclidean Green functions of gauge-invariant charged, monopole and dyon fields in four-dimensional gauge theories whose phase diagram contains phases with deconfined electric and/or magnetic charges. In theories with only either abelian electric or magnetic charges, our construction is an Euclidean version of Dirac's original proposal, the magnetic dual of his proposal, respectively. Rigorous mathematical control is achieved for a class of abelian lattice theories. In theories where electric and magnetic charges coexist, our construction of Green functions of electrically or magnetically charged fields involves taking an average over Mandelstam strings or the dual magnetic flux tubes, in accordance with Dirac's flux quantization condition. We apply our construction to 't Hooft-Polyakov monopoles and Julia-Zee dyons. Connections between our construction and the semiclassical approach are discussed.  相似文献

A renormalized quantum electromagnetodynamics (QEMD) of a dyon field is defined. Finite and n-independent answers can be obtained in each order of the loop expansion for all processes. The electric and magnetic charges are not constrained with the Dirac condition and therefore perturbation theory can be made reliable. The renormalized theory is found to possess exact dual invariance. Comparisons with the general QEMD of electric and magnetic charges are made.  相似文献

Starting with the usual definitions of octonions and split octonions in terms of Zorn vector matrix realization, we have made an attempt to write the consistent form of generalized Maxwell’s equations in presence of electric and magnetic charges (dyons). We have thus written the generalized potential, generalized field, and generalized current of dyons in terms of split octonions and accordingly the split octonion forms of generalized Dirac Maxwell’s equations are obtained in compact and consistent manner. This theory reproduces the dynamic of electric (magnetic) in the absence of magnetic (electric) charges.  相似文献

Analogous construction for three Euclidean dimensions, with magnetic charges interacting with electric currents, is also done. We investigate the charges and fluxes that can occur in higher-order Abelian gauge theories defined on compact space-time manifolds with boundary. The boundary is necessary to supply a destination to the electric lines of force emanating from brane sources, thus allowing non-zero net electric charges, but it also introduces new types of electric and magnetic flux. The resulting structure of currents, charges, and fluxes is studied and expressed in the language of relative homology and de Rham cohomology and the corresponding abelian groups. These can be organised in terms of a pair of exact sequences related by the Poincaré-Lefschetz isomorphism and by a weaker flip symmetry exchanging the ends of the sequences. It is shown how all this structure is brought into play by the imposition of the appropriately generalised Maxwell’s equations. The requirement that these equations be integrable restricts the world-volume of a permitted brane (assumed closed) to be homologous to a cycle on the boundary of space-time. All electric charges and magnetic fluxes are quantised and satisfy the Dirac quantisation condition. But through some boundary cycles there may be unquantised electric fluxes associated with quantised magnetic fluxes and so dyonic in nature.  相似文献

By considering simple examples from the viewpoint of both classical electromagnetism and the special theory of relativity, it is shown that the magnetic forces between moving charges are of order v 2/c 2 times the electric forces between the charges, where v is the velocity of the charges. We extended the Parikh-Wilczek’s method to calculate the tunneling radiation of charged and magnetized particles from the event horizon and the cosmological horizon of the Reissner-Nordstr?m-de Sitter black hole with magnetic charges. We reconstructed the electromagnetic field tensor and recalculated the Lagrangian of the field corresponding to the source with electric and magnetic charges. By viewing the eclectic and magnetic charges as an equivalent electric charge, we obtained the tunneling rate of the charged and magnetized particles. Our calculation supports the conclusion given by Parikh and Wilczek that the emission spectrum is no longer purely thermal, and the emission process supports the information conservation.  相似文献

In this work, analysis of the human body exposed to high voltage electric and magnetic fields is presented. The distribution of the electric field is obtained by using Laplace's equation. This relates the surface charge induced on the body to the potential in a reciprocal Laplace problem, which is then calculated by charge simulation method coupled with genetic algorithms to determine the appropriate arrangement of simulating charges inside the human body. The magnetic field intensity along the vertical center line of the human is calculated. Exposure to external electric and magnetic fields at power frequency induces electric field, magnetic field and currents inside the human body. The presented model for simulating electric and magnetic fields are a three dimensional field problem and introduced different types of charges to simulate the different elementary geometrical shapes of human body. The particular strength of the charge simulation method in this application is its ability to allow a detailed representation of the shape and posture of the human body. The results have been assessed through comparison induced current, electric field, magnetic field and there distribution over the body surface, as estimated in other experimental and computational work.  相似文献

The Kerner-Mann fermions tunneling framework is extended to the spin particles with electric and magnetic charges in this paper. We rewrite the electromagnetic field tensor and the Lagrangian of the field corresponding to the source with electric and magnetic charges to redefine an equivalent charge. We only consider the case that the ratio of the electric charge and magnetic charge of the emission is constant and equal to the source. The result shows that when the energy conservation together with the electric charge and magnetic charge conservations are taken into account in the dynamical background space time, the emission rate agrees with the underlying unitary theory and the actual radiation spectrum of charged and magnetized fermions also derivates from the pure thermal one.  相似文献

The Abelian Born-Infeld classical non-linear Electrodynamic has been used to investigate the electric and magnetostatic fields generated by a point-like electric charge at rest in an inertial frame. The results show a rich internal structure for the charge. Analytical solutions have also been found. Such fields configurations have been interpreted in terms of vacuum polarization and magnetic-like charges produced by the very high strengths of the electric field considered. Apparently non-linearity is responsible for the emergence of an anomalous magnetostatic field suggesting a possible connection to that created by a magnetic dipole composed of two magnetic charges with opposite signs. Consistently in situations where the Born-Infeld field strength parameter is free to become infinite, Maxwell’s regime takes over, the magnetic sector vanishes and the electric field assumes a Coulomb behavior with no trace of a magnetic component. The connection to other monopole solutions, like Dirac’s and ’tHooft’s Poliakov’s types are also discussed. Finally, some speculative remarks are presented in an attempt to explain such fields.  相似文献

The large spatial size of magnetic charges (or dyons) and parity considerations are used to show that in models of the proton based on dyons the hyperfine splitting must be due to the magnetic moment produced by the electric charge. Hawking radiation of particles with electric and magnetic charges from the Einstein–Maxwell-Dilaton–Axion black hole is derived via the anomaly cancellation method, initiated by Robinson and Wilczek and elaborated by Banerjee and Kulkarni recently. We reconstruct the electromagnetic field tensor to redefine the gauge potential and equivalent charge corresponding to the source with electric and magnetic charges. We only adopt the covariant gauge and gravitational anomalies to discuss the near-horizon quantum anomaly in the dragging coordinate frame. Our result shows that Hawking radiation in this case also can be reproduced from the viewpoint of anomaly.  相似文献

We analyze some features of the electrodynamics of dual charges and we derive an expression for the self-torque in a simple model of extended dual charge, taking into account, consistently, the retarded condition we compare our results with those obtained for electric or magnetic charges only. We present a detailed derivation of the renormalization group equations for two-dimensional electromagnetic Coulomb gases whose charges lie on a triangular lattice (magnetic charges) and its dual (electric charges). The interactions between the charges involve both angular couplings and a new electromagnetic potential. This motivates the denomination of “elastic” Coulomb gas. Such elastic Coulomb gases arise naturally in the study of the continuous melting transition of two-dimensional solids coupled to a substrate, either commensurate or with quenched disorder.  相似文献

Tunneling of charged and magnetized Dirac particles from the Kerr-Newman-Ads black hole with magnetic charges is discussed in this paper. Owing to the electric and magnetic fields would couple with gravity field, we introduce the Dirac equation of charged and magnetized particles. Then by redefining the equivalent charge and gauge potential corresponding to the source with electric and magnetic charges, we discuss this tunneling once and obtain the same Hawking temperature. Both results show that the fermions tunneling formalism also come into existence in the charged and magnetized background space time.  相似文献
