[STRUCTURE: SEE TEXT] A neutral rhodium(I)/BINAP complex effectively catalyzed a [2+2+2] cycloaddition of 1,6-diynes with isothiocyanates to give bicyclic thiopyranimines in 59-98% isolated yield. [reactions: see text] A rhodium complex of N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) has been developed for intra- and intermolecular [4 + 2] and intramolecular [5 + 2] cycloaddition reactions. This is the first use of a transition-metal NHC complex in a Diels-Alder-type reaction. For the intramolecular [4 + 2] cycloaddition reactions, all the dienynes studied were converted to their corresponding cycloadducts in 91-99% yields within 10 min. Moreover, up to 1900 turnovers have been obtained for the intramolecular [4 + 2] cycloaddition at 15-20 degrees C. For the intermolecular [4 + 2] cycloadditions, high yields (71-99%) of the corresponding cycloaddition products were obtained. The reaction time and yield were highly dependent upon the diene and the dienophile. For the intramolecular [5 + 2] cycloaddition reactions, all the alkyne vinylcyclopropanes studied were converted to their corresponding cycloadducts in 91-98% yields within 10 min. However, the catalytic system was not effective for an intermolecular [5 + 2] cycloaddition reaction.  相似文献

We have determined that a cationic rhodium(I)/Segphos complex catalyzes an enantio- and diastereoselective intermolecular [2+2+2] cycloaddition of 1,2-bis(arylpropiolyl)benzenes with various monoalkynes at room temperature to give axially chiral 1,4-teraryls possessing an anthraquinone structure in good yields with good enantio- and diastereoselectivities. We have also determined that a thermal intramolecular [4+2] cycloaddition of 1,2-bis(arylpropiolyl)benzenes proceeds at 60 degrees C to give aryl-substituted naphthacenediones in moderate to good yields.  相似文献

A highly efficient one-pot synthesis of thiazolidin-4-ones via [3+2] cycloaddition of aza-oxyallylic cations with isothiocyanates is developed. The aza-oxyallyic cations were generated in situ in the present of a base. This cycloaddition reaction allows the rapid access to a variety of thiazolidin-4-one derivatives in mild conditions, good yield, and excellent functional group compatibility.  相似文献

We report here an efficient synthesis for pyrimidine nucleoside analogues by [4 + 2] cycloaddition reaction. These compounds were obtained by convergent chemistry from glycosyl isothiocyanates 3a-f (pyranoses, furanoses, and dissaccharides) and diazadienium salt 5. In fact, diazapentadienium iodide 5 prepared from vinylthioamide 4 is an efficient intermediate in heterocyclic synthesis and reacts with isothiocyanates 3a-f affording beta-D-uracil analogues 7a-f in good yields and with total regiocontrol. All compounds were fully characterized by IR, HRMS, and 13C and 1H NMR (COSY and HMQC).  相似文献

The microwave-assisted intramolecular [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of azomethine ylides to activated and nonactivated alkenes and alkynes is described. The procedure allows the synthesis of pyrrolidines and pyrrole products in good to excellent overall yields in short reaction times. It appears from parallel comparative studies that the microwave procedure favors the reaction times and overall purity of the crude reaction mixture. Poly(methyl acrylate)s (PMAs) of varying molecular weights were grown from a [4+2] cycloaddition adduct of maleimide with furan containing two polymerization initiators. Subjecting the corresponding PMA (>30 kDa) chains to ultrasound at 0 °C resulted in a retro [4+2] cycloaddition reaction, as observed by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and UV-vis spectroscopy, as well as labeling of the liberated maleimide and furan moieties with appropriate chromophores featuring complementary functional groups. Similar results were obtained by sonicating analogous polymers that were grown from a thermally robust [4+2] cycloaddition adduct of maleimide with anthracene. The generation of anthracenyl species from these latter adducts allowed for the rate of the corresponding mechanically activated retro [4+2] cycloaddition reaction to be measured. No reduction in the number average molecular weight (M(n)) or liberation of the maleimide, furan, or anthracene moieties was observed (i) for polymers containing the cycloaddition adducts with M(n) < 20 kDa, (ii) for high molecular weight PMAs (M(n) > 60 kDa) featuring terminal cycloaddition adducts, or (iii) when the cycloaddition adducts were not covalently linked to a high molecular weight PMA. Collectively, these results support the notion that the aforementioned retro [4+2] cycloaddition processes were derived from a vectorially opposed mechanical force applied to adducts embedded within the polymer chains.  相似文献

It has been established that a cationic rhodium(I)/H8‐binap complex catalyzes the [3+2+2] cycloaddition of 1,6‐diynes with cyclopropylideneacetamides to produce cycloheptadiene derivatives through cleavage of cyclopropane rings. In contrast, a cationic rhodium(I)/(S)‐binap complex catalyzes the enantioselective [2+2+2] cycloaddition of terminal alkynes, acetylenedicarboxylates, and cyclopropylideneacetamides to produce spiro‐cyclohexadiene derivatives which retain the cyclopropane rings.  相似文献

Silahelicenes, which contain two silole moieties in a helically chiral structure, were synthesized by a chiral Ir-catalyzed intermolecular [2+2+2] cycloaddition of tetraynes with diynes along with a Ni-mediated intramolecular [2+2+2] cycloaddition. Three charge-transfer chromophore-terminated [2]rotaxanes were synthesized, using a high-yield [2 + 2]cycloaddition reaction in apolar solvent at room temperature. The [2+2+2] cycloaddition is an elegant, atom-efficient and group tolerant process for the synthesis of carbo- and heterocycles, mostly aromatic, involving the formation of several C-C bonds in a single step. Cyclotrimerisation is catalyzed by a variety of organometallic complexes, including more than 15 different metals. The aim of this tutorial review is to point out the most recent advances in this field and to encourage the use of this reaction enroute to complex molecules. After summarizing the most common catalysts and reaction conditions generally used, we survey the mechanistic features currently accepted for this reaction. Section 4 covers the scope of the different [2+2+2] cycloaddition versions starting with the cyclotrimerisation of three triple bonds, including nitriles, with especial emphasis on asymmetric reactions that create central, axial or planar chirality. Then, reactions that use double bonds are addressed. Finally, the most outstanding examples of natural products synthesis using [2+2+2] cycloadditions as a key step reported recently are shown.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] In connection with the known diyne-ene [2 + 2 + 2] cycloaddition reactions mediated by titanium aryloxides, the ability of titanium alkoxides to promote coupling of a titanacyclopentadiene with an alkene has been assessed for the isomerization-free preparation of 1,3-cyclohexadienes. The successful cycloaddition by titanium alkoxides is predicated on the use of homoallylic alcohols as the olefin component. With secondary homoallylic alcohols, high 1,3-diastereoselectivity is observed, which lends itself to enantioselective preparation of functionalized 1,3-cyclohexadienes.  相似文献

Four-membered rings can be cleaved thermally, Photochemically, or catalytically into two π bonded fragments. Theoretical calculations, kinetic studies, and investigations of stereo- and regioselectivity have been undertaken to clarify the question of whether the reaction involves one or two steps and to permit predictions on its course. [2 + 2]-Cycloreversions have been used to clarify the structure of four-membered rings, to prepare highly reactive π electron-systems and–in combination with a [2 + 2]-cycloaddition–to protect double bonds. The combination of a cycloaddition and-reversion can be used to convert a carbonyl group into an olefin. Starting with compounds containing annelated four-membered rings, compounds with two functional groups or large ring systems can be prepared. [2 + 2]-Cycloreversions have also been discussed in connection with storage of solar energy.  相似文献
