A rationally designed sulfur-rich macrocycle L incorporating one pyridine and one benzo subunit was synthesized and structurally characterized. From the assembly reactions of L with copper(II) nitrate and mercury(II) iodide, an endocyclic monocopper(II) complex and an exocyclic dimercury(II) complex were prepared, respectively. On the basis of these results, the construction of a Hg(II)/Cu(II) heteronuclear 1D network complex with an endo/exocyclic coordination mode was achieved by one-pot assembly reaction of L with mercury(II) iodide in the presence of copper(II) nitrate.  相似文献

The reactions of copper(I) iodide with pyridine-2-thione (2-SC(5)H(4)NH) in the presence of a series of diphosphane ligands, Ph(2)P[bond]X[bond]Ph(2)P [X = [bond](CH(2))(m)[bond], m = 1(dppm), 2 (dppe), 3 (dppp), 4 (dppb); [bond]CH[double bond]CH[bond] (dppen)], yielded an iodo-bridged hexanuclear Cu(I) linear polymer, [Cu(6)(mu(3)-SC(5)H(4)NH)(4)(mu(2)-SC(5)H(4)NH)(2)(I(4))(mu-I)(2)-](n).2nCH(3)CN (1). A similar reaction with 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) and 2-SC(5)H(4)NH yielded a triangular cluster, Cu(3)I(3)(dppe)(3)(2-SC(5)H(4)NH), 2. In the chain polymer 1, three Cu(I) iodide and three 2-SC(5)H(4)NH ligands combined via bridging S donor atoms to form a boat-shaped trinuclear Cu(3)S(3)I(3) core, and two such cores combined in an inverse manner via four S-donor atoms (mu(3)-S) to form a centrosymmetric hexanuclear repeat unit, Cu(6)S(6)I(4)(mu-I)(2-), which finally formed the iodo-bridged infinite linear chain polymer 1. Linear chains are separated by the nonbonded acetonitrile molecules. Polymer 1 is the first such example of a linear chain formed by the hexanuclear Cu(6)S(6)I(6) core in copper chemistry as well as in metal-heterocyclic thioamide chemistry. In addition, it has the first mu(3)-S mode of neutral pyridine-2-thione ever reported. In the moiety Cu(3)I(3)(dppe)(3) of 2, two copper(I) centers are bridged by the iodide ligands forming a Cu(mu-I)(2)Cu core, while a third copper(I) center is terminally bonded to another iodide ligand. Polymer 2 is also rare, and the first triangular cluster of Cu(I) with an heterocyclic thioamide.  相似文献

Self-assembly of copper(ii) ion, 3,4-pyridinedicarboxylate (PDC), and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) under basic conditions at 100 °C affords four PDC linked copper(ii) complexes, [Cu(4)(μ(2)-OH)(3)(μ(3)-OH)(PDC)(phen)(4)](n)·n(PDC)·11.5 nH2O (1), [Cu(4)(μ(2)-OH)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(2)(PDC)(phen)(4)](n)·n(PDC)· 11.5 nH(2)O (2), [Cu(8)(μ(2)-OH)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(6)(PDC)(2)(phen)(8)]·2(PDC)·23 H(2)O (3), and [Cu(3.5)(μ(2)-OH)(3) (PDC)(2)(phen)](n) (4). 1-4 are copper hydroxo complexes, and 1, 2 and 3 co-crystallized from the one-pot reaction. X-ray single crystal diffraction analyses indicate that complexes 1 and 2 are linkage isomers and contain tetranuclear copper cluster cores with different geometry, and that PDC links the cluster core to form a one-dimensional chain. Complex 3 is a discrete step-like octanuclear copper hydroxo cluster complex. The involvement of hydroxo and phen in the coordination makes some coordination sites of PDC idle, which leads to rich hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions in complexes 1, 2 and 3. Complex 4 contains two types of copper hydroxo cluster cores: chair-like tetranuclear and linear trinuclear units, and the cluster cores are linked by PDC to a double-layer metal-organic framework. Magnetic properties of 1, 3 and 4 were investigated. The results reveal that complexes 3 and 4 exhibit strong antiferromagnetic interactions whereas ferromagnetic coupling is predominant for complex 1. The magnetic properties are analyzed in connection with their structures.  相似文献

Abstract

The formation and characterization of two novel coordination polymers based upon copper iodide and pyrazine have been observed that demonstrate varying aromatic inclusion. By changing the solvent from 1,2-dichlorobenzene to nitrobenzene, the ability to include the solvent as a guest molecule within the two-dimensional coordination polymer has been realized. In the nitrobenzene example, unlike the 1,2-dichlorobenzene example, honeycomb shaped cavities form along the polymeric chain that allows aromatic inclusion.  相似文献

Luminescent mechanochromic materials are particularly appealing for the development of stimuli‐responsive materials. Establishing the mechanism responsible for the mechanochromism is always an issue owing to the difficulty in characterizing the ground phase. Herein, the study of real crystalline polymorphs of a mechanochromic and thermochromic luminescent copper iodide cluster permits us to clearly establish the mechanism involved. The local disruption of the crystal packing induces changes in the cluster geometry and in particular the modification of the cuprophilic interactions, which consequently modify the emissive states. This study constitutes a step further toward the understanding of the mechanism involved in the mechanochromic luminescent properties of multimetallic coordination complexes.  相似文献

The coordination polymer [Cu(CH3COO)(C5H5N)2]n was synthesized and its crystal structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction technique. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group C2/c with a=1.183 2(1) nm,b=1.512 1(2) nm,c=1.3911(1) nm,β=97.137(3)°,V=2.469 6(4) nm3,C12H13CuN2O2,Mr=280.78,Z=8,Dc=1.510 g·cm-3,μ=1.759 mm-1,F(000)=1 152,R1=0.048 2 and wR2=0.122 5 for 1 515 observed reflections [1>2σ(Ⅰ)].In the crystal the copper(Ⅲ) atom is tetra-coordinated primarily by two oxygen atoms of two symmetry-related carbexyl groups of acetate anions and two nitrogen atoms of two pyridine ligands in a parallelogram fashion. All of the pyridine rings linked to Cu(1) and Cu(2) are arranged centrosymmetrically on Cu(1).The neighboring copper complex molecules are linked together by the carboxylate oxygen atom of acetate anions to form an infinite one-dimensional linear chain structure.Moreover,π-π stacking interactions between intrachain pyridine molecules play the crucial role in constructing of the supramolecular structure.CCDC:709977.  相似文献

Reaction of copper(I) iodide with pyridine-2-thione (2-SC5H4NH) and 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) in a CH3CN-CHCl3 mixture yielded a triangular cluster, [Cu3I3(mu2-P,P-dppe)3 (eta1-SC5H4NH)], 1. Similar reaction with 2-SC5H4NH and a series of diphosphanes, Ph2P-X-Ph2P {X = -CH2- (dppm), -(CH2)3- (dppp), -(CH2)4- (dppb), -CH=CH- (dppen)}, gave a novel iodo-bridged hexanuclear Cu(I) linear polymer,{Cu6(mu3-SC5H4NH)4 (mu2-SC5H4NH)2 (I4)(mu-I)2-}n x 2nCH3CN, 2. Reactions of copper(I) iodide/copper(I) bromide with 1,3-imidazolidine-2-thione (SC3H6N2) in a CH3CN-CHCl3 mixture yielded hexanuclear Cu(I) linear chain polymers, [{Cu6(mu3-SC3H6N2)2 (mu2-SC3H6N2)4X2 (mu-X)4}n] (X = Br, 4; I, 5). In compound 1, two iodide atoms and one dppe form the dinuclear Cu(mu2-I)2 (mu2-dppe)Cu core, and two dppe ligands bridge this core with the third Cu(I) center coordinated to 2-SC5H4NH via the S atom. The chain polymer 2 has a centrosymmetric hexanuclear central core, Cu6S6I4 (mu-I)2--, formed by dimerization of six-membered trinuclear motifs, Cu3(mu2-SC3H6N2)3I3 via (mu3-S) bonding modes of the thione ligand, and has four terminal and two bridging iodine atoms in trans-orientations. Linear chains are separated by the nonbonded acetonitrile molecules. In 4 and 5, three copper(I) bromide or copper(I) iodide moieties and three SC3H6N2 ligands combined via bridging S donor atoms to form the six-membered trinuclear Cu3(mu2-SC3H6N2)3I3 cores which polymerized via S and X atoms in a side-on fashion to form linear chain polymers, [{Cu6(mu3-SC3H6N2)2 (mu2-SC3H6N2)4X2(mu-X)4}n]. The (mu3-S) modes of bonding of neutral heterocyclic thioamides are first examples, as are trinuclear cluster and linear polymers rare examples in copper chemistry.  相似文献

One‐ and two‐dimensional coordination polymers composed of a structurally flexible, tetradentate diisopyrazole ligand and copper(I) halides were synthesized as crystalline solids. Complexation with copper(I) chloride or bromide resulted in the formation of infinite coordination chains through connecting each diisopyrazole ligand with two copper(I) ions in a trigonal planar coordination geometry. Contrarily, the combination of a diisopyrazole ligand and copper(I) iodide gave a two‐dimensional coordination network comprising Cu4I4 units with stair‐step type geometry and diisopyrazoles that acted as both tetradentate and bidentate bridging ligands. All the coordination polymers exhibited visible photo‐emission upon UV irradiation, and the Cu4I4 complex showed thermochromic behavior.  相似文献

The reactions of di-2-pyridyl ketone with Cu(O2CPh)2 in the presence of NaN3 and LiOH have led to an antiferromagnetically coupled (S = 0) Cu(II)6 cluster with a novel core and to (Cu(II)8)n and (Cu(II)2)n coordination polymers (the former 1D and the latter 2D) with interesting structures. The cluster or polymer formation depends on the reaction solvent.  相似文献

The low efficiency triplet emission of hybrid copper(I) iodide clusters is a critical obstacle to their further practical optoelectronic application. Herein, we present an efficient hybrid copper(I) iodide cluster emitter (DBA)4Cu4I4 , where the cooperation of excited state structure reorganization and the metallophilicity interaction enables ultra-bright triplet yellow-orange emission with a photoluminescence quantum yield over 94.9 %, and the phonon-assisted de-trapping process of exciton induces the negative thermal quenching effect at 80–300 K. We also investigate the potential of this emitter for X-ray imaging. The (DBA)4Cu4I4 wafer demonstrates a light yield higher than 104 photons MeV−1 and a high spatial resolution of ≈5.0 lp mm−1, showing great potential in practical X-ray imaging applications. Our new copper(I) iodide cluster emitter can serve as a model for investigating the thermodynamic mechanism of photoluminescence in hybrid copper(I) halide phosphorescence materials.  相似文献

The reaction of Cu(ClO4)2.6-H2O and n-propylamine in methanol gives two high-nuclearity products of well-defined compositions. At amine concentrations greater than seven equivalents compared to copper ion concentration, the system fixes carbon dioxide from air to form the one-dimensional carbamate-bridged coordination polymer, {[Cu(mu2-O,O'-O2CNH(CH2)2CH3)(NH2(CH2)2CH3)3](ClO4)}n ({1-ClO4}n). Lower relative amine concentrations lead to the self-assembly of an octanuclear copper-amine-hydroxide cluster [Cu8(OH)10(NH2(CH2)2CH3)12]6+ (2). Both compounds exhibit unique structures: {1-ClO4}n is the first mu2-O,O'-mono-N-alkylcarbamate-linked coordination polymer and 2 is the largest copper-hydroxide-monodentate amine cluster identified to date. The crystal structures indicate that the size of the n-propyl group is probably crucial for directing the formation of these compounds. Magnetic susceptibility studies indicate very weak antiferromagnetic coupling for 1. The octanuclear cluster 2 displays slightly stronger net antiferromagnetic coupling, despite the presence of a number of Cu-O(H)-Cu angles below the value of about 97 degrees that would normally be expected to yield ferromagnetic coupling.  相似文献

A novel chiral coordination polymer, [Cu(C(6)H(5)CH(OH)COO)(μ-C(6)H(5)CH(OH)COO)] (1-L and 1-D), was synthesized through a reaction of copper acetate with L-mandelic acid at room temperature. Although previously reported copper mandelate prepared by hydrothermal reaction was a centrosymmetric coordination polymer because of the racemization of mandelic acid, the current coordination polymer shows noncentrosymmetry and a completely different structure from that previously reported. The X-ray crystallography for 1-L revealed that the copper center of the compound showed a highly distorted octahedral structure bridged by a chiral mandelate ligand in the unusual coordination mode to construct a one-dimensional (1D) zigzag chain structure. These 1D chains interdigitated each other to give a layered structure as a result of the formation of multiple aromatic interactions and hydrogen bonds between hydroxyl and carboxylate moieties at mandelate ligands. The coordination polymer 1-L belongs to the noncentrosymmetric space group of C2 to show piezoelectric properties and second harmonic generation (SHG) activity.  相似文献

Two modifications of the new copper(I) iodide coordination polymer CuI(2-iodopyrazine) were obtained by the reaction of CuI and 2-iodopyrazine in acetonitrile. During this reaction, intensely yellow crystals of form I appear first which transform within several minutes to intensely red crystals of form II which is the thermodynamically most stable form at room temperature. In catena[CuI(2-iodopyrazine-N)] (form I; a = 4.1830 (6) A; b = 10.814 (1) A; c = 17.961 (4) A; V = 812.5 (2) A(3); orthorhombic; P2(1)2(1)2(1); Z = 4), corrugated CuI double chains are found in which each copper atom is coordinated by one additional 2-iodopyrazine ligand. In poly[CuI(mu-2-iodopyrazine-N,N')] (form II; a = 4.2679 (5) A; b = 13.942 (2) A; c = 13.017 (2) A; b = 92.64 (1) degrees; V = 773.76 (2) A(3); monoclinic; P2(1)/c; Z = 4), CuI single chains occur which are connected via mu-N,N' coordination by the 2-iodopyrazine ligands to layers parallel to (010). The thermal behavior of both forms was investigated using simultaneous differential thermoanalysis, thermogravimetry, and mass spectrometry as well as differential scanning calorimetry and temperature resolved X-ray powder diffraction. On heating, both forms decompose to copper(I) iodide, and the decomposition temperature of form I is significantly lower than that of form II. From all experiments, there is no indication of a phase transition of one form into the other or for the formation of a phase with lower amine content.  相似文献

A novel 3-D coordination polymer with trimeric copper (I) unit, [Cu(3)(CN)(IN)(2)](n)(IN = isonicotinate), was hydrothermally synthesized by the reaction of Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O with isonicotinic and terephthalic acids. The structure was characterized to be a twofold interpenetrated 3-D coordination network polymer with two-coordinated copper(I). It has a powder SHG efficiency about that of KDP.  相似文献

A novel azide-bridged copper(Ⅱ) coordination polymer, [Cu3(NITpPy)4(N3)6]n (NITpPy = 4-pyridyl-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazline-3-oxide-1-oxyl), was structurally and magnetically characterized. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P with a = 7.6932(10), b = 14.5556(19), c = 16.122(2) , α = 108.443(2), β = 95.251(2), γ = 104.236(2)°, V = 1631.7(4) 3, C48H64Cu3N30O8, Mr = 1379.87, Z = 1, Dc = 1.404 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 1.041 mm-1, F(000) = 713, the R = 0.0510 and wR = 0.1185 for 4285 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). X-ray analysis reveals that the Cu(Ⅱ) ions are linked by nitrogen atom of μ1,1 azido ligands to form a Cu-Cu-Cu unit. The units are linked by μ1,3 azido ligands through a bridging style to form a one-dimensional coordination polymer. The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility data of the complex show ferromagnetic interactions in the complex.  相似文献

Two compounds, [Cu5I5](SNC5H4)2 [i] and [Cu3I3](SNC5H4)2 [ii], were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and the crystal structures were solved. Both compounds crystallized in space group I41/a. The iodide and the sulphur from mercaptopyridine are connected to copper atom, giving the copper atoms tetrahedral coordination geometry. The pyridine end of the organic moiety is non-bonding and fills the empty space around the tetrahedra formed from copper, sulphur and iodide.  相似文献

The synthesis, X-ray structure and magnetic susceptibility of (2,5-dimethylpyrazine)copper(II) chloride (1), and the synthesis and magnetic susceptibility of (2,6-dimethylpyrazine)2copper(II) chloride (2), are reported. Compound 1 crystallizes in the space group P21/c as a coordination polymer of Cu(II) ions bridged by 2,5-methylpyrazine. The resulting chains are magnetically linked via short chloride–chloride contacts. The magnetic susceptibility responds as a uniform Heisenberg chain (2J/k = −20(5) K) with a phase transition to three dimensional order near 5 K. Susceptibility data for compound 2 show that the compound is a linear chain coordination polymer with the copper ions linked by bihalide bridges. A fit to the model for a uniform Heisenberg chain yields 2J = −22.7(2) K.  相似文献

A new three-dimensional copper dithiocarbamate-copper iodide coordination polymer [Cu(Me2dtc)2(CuI)3]n (Me2dtc=N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamate) was synthesized by reactions of Cu(OAc)2,NaI and Na(Me2dtc) in DMF solution,characterized by elemental analysis,IR spectrum,and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to the monoclinic system,space group C2/c with a=1.293 89(17) nm,b=1.077 61(11) nm,c=1.456 05(17) nm,β=115.585 (4)°,V=1.831 1 (4) nm3,Z=4,Dc=3.175 g·cm-3,Mr=875.28,λ (Mo Kα)=0.071 073 nm,μ=10.082 mm-1,F(000)=1 604,the final R=0.029 5 and wR=0.081 7. A total of 2 083 unique reflections were collected,of which 1 918 with I2σ(I) were observed. The Cu atoms are Cu(Ⅰ)/Cu(Ⅱ) mixed-valence and they have two different coordinate geometries,namely planar square and tetrahedron. This three-dimensional structure consists of individual Cu(Me2dtc)2 molecules linking together CuI polymeric chains which run parallel to the [001] direction vis Cu-S bonds.  相似文献
