We study the self-dual Chern-Simons Higgs equation on a compact Riemann surface with the Neumann boundary condition.In the previous paper,we show that the Chern-Simons Higgs equation with parameter λ0 has at least two solutions(uλ1,uλ2) for λ sufficiently large,which satisfy that uλ1→u0 almost everywhere as λ→∞,and that uλ2→∞ almost everywhere as λ→∞,where u 0 is a(negative) Green function on M.In this paper,we study the asymptotic behavior of the solutions as λ→∞,and prove that uλ2-uλ2 converges to a solution of the Kazdan-Warner equation if the geodesic curvature of the boundary M is negative,or the geodesic curvature is nonpositive and the Gauss curvature is negative where the geodesic curvature is zero.  相似文献

Letf be a holomorphic self-map of the punctured plane ℂ*=ℂ\{0} with essentially singular points 0 and ∞. In this note, we discuss the setsI 0(f)={z ∈ ℂ*:f n (z) → 0,n → ∞} andI (f)={z ∈ ℂ*:f n (z) → 0,n → ∞}. We try to find the relation betweenI 0(f),I (t) andJ(f). It is proved that both the boundary ofI 0(f) and the boundary ofI )f) equal toJ(f),I 0(f) ∩J(f) ≠ θ andI (f) ∩J(f) ≠ θ. Summary. We study the 2D Ising model in a rectangular box Λ L of linear size O(L). We determine the exact asymptotic behaviour of the large deviations of the magnetization ∑ t∈ΛL σ(t) when L→∞ for values of the parameters of the model corresponding to the phase coexistence region, where the order parameter m * is strictly positive. We study in particular boundary effects due to an arbitrary real-valued boundary magnetic field. Using the self-duality of the model a large part of the analysis consists in deriving properties of the covariance function <σ(0)σ(t)>, as |t|→∞, at dual values of the parameters of the model. To do this analysis we establish new results about the high-temperature representation of the model. These results are valid for dimensions D≥2 and up to the critical temperature. They give a complete non-perturbative exposition of the high-temperature representation. We then study the Gibbs measure conditioned by {|∑ t∈ΛL σ(t) −m L ||≤|Λ L |L c }, with 0<c<1/4 and −m *<m<m *. We construct the continuum limit of the model and describe the limit by the solutions of a variational problem of isoperimetric type. We study the existence and asymptotic convergence when t→+∞ for the trajectories generated by where is a parametric family of convex functions which approximates a given convex function f we want to minimize, and ε(t) is a parametrization such that ε(t)→ 0 when t→+∞ . This method is obtained from the following variational characterization of Newton's method: where H is a real Hilbert space. We find conditions on the approximating family and the parametrization to ensure the norm convergence of the solution trajectories u(t) toward a particular minimizer of f . The asymptotic estimates obtained allow us to study the rate of convergence as well. The results are illustrated through some applications to barrier and penalty methods for linear programming, and to viscosity methods for an abstract noncoercive variational problem. We consider the stochastic model of planar rotators x(t)={xk(t), k∈Zd}, t≥0, xk(t)∈T1, at high temperature. For the decay of correlations <fA(x(0)), gA+k(t) (x(t))>, the asymptotic formula is obtained at t→∞, k(t)→∞, k(t)∈Zd. The basic methods we used are the spectral analysis of the Markov semigroup generator and the saddle-point method. We investigate an initial value problem which is closely related to the Williams-Bjerknes tumour model for a cancer which spreads through an epithelial basal layer modeled onI ⊂ Z 2. The solution of this problem is a familyp = (p i(t)), where eachp i(t)could be considered as an approximation to the probability that the cell situated ati is cancerous at timet. We prove that this problem has a unique solution, it is defined on [0, +∞[, and, for some relevant situations, limt→∞ P i(t) = 1 for alli ∈ I. We show that for any sequence tn→∞ and any global weak solution (ρ(t), u(t)) of barotropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations in 2 and 3 space dimensions with potential force there exists a subsequence {sn} such that ϱ(sn) in L ω r (Ω) of spatially periodic functions, where ϱ is an equilibrium density, r>1 suitable. The main result of the paper shows that, for 1 < p < ∞ and 1 ≤ q < ∞, a linear operator T: ℓ p → ℓ q attains its norm if, and only if, there exists a not weakly null maximizing sequence for T (counterexamples can be easily constructed when p = 1). For 1 < pq < ∞, as a consequence of the previous result we show that any not weakly null maximizing sequence for a norm attaining operator T: ℓ p → ℓ q has a norm-convergent subsequence (and this result is sharp in the sense that it is not valid if p = q). We consider a boundary crossing probability of a Brownian bridgeB 0 and a piecewise linear boundary functionu(t)−γh(t). The main result of this paper is an asymptotic expansion for γ→∞ of the boundary crossing probability thatB 0 (t) is larger than the piecewise linear boundary functionu(t)−γh(t) for somet. Such probabilities occur for instance in the context of change point problems when the Kolmogorov test is used. We study solutions to the nonstationary equations describing the motion of the second-grade fluid in a twodimensional infinite channel and in a three-dimensional rotationally symmetric pipe.
