激子-声子相互作用对三阶非线性光学性质的影响   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
在对激子不作任何近似的条件下,对强耦合激子声子系统中非线性光学性质在理论上进行了研究,结果表明当信号光场频率与激子频率的失谐量等于光学声子的频率时,系统的非线性光学吸收和克尔系数显著增大,从而证明了激子声子的强相互作用对介质的非线性光学性质的影响相当大。并且,与对激子作代松马利夫(Dyson-Maleev)变换近似和玻色近似的结果进行仔细的比较,发现对激子不作近似时,这种影响将进一步增大。  相似文献

研究了电子-体纵光学声子弱耦合情况下,抛物量子点中激子的性质。在有效质量近似下,采用线性组合算符和幺正变换方法研究了抛物量子点中弱耦合激子的基态能量和光学声子平均数。以GaAs半导体为例进行了数值计算,结果表明:弱耦合情况下,激子的光学声子平均数基态的能量和量子点受限强度的增大而减小,随量子点半径的增大而增大。  相似文献

采用Tokuda改变的线性组合算符法和改进的Lee-Low-Pines变换法,研究了温度对量子阱中电子(空穴)与界面光学(IO)声子强耦合又与体纵光学(LO)声子弱耦合激子的有效质量的影响.结果表明,由电子(空穴)-体纵光学声子弱耦合所产生的激子有效质量(Mex*-LO)随量子阱宽N的增加而增大、随电子与空穴间相对距离P的增加而先增大后缓慢减小再趋于稳定,温度T对Mex*-LO及其随N和P变化的规律产生显著影响.同时,Mex*-LO)随T的变化也强烈的受到量子尺寸效应的影响;由电子(空穴)-界面光学声子强耦合所产生的激子有效质量Mcx*-IO随N的增加而减小,随T的升高而增大、随p的增加而先增大后缓慢减小再趋于稳定,但丁对Mex-IO随N和p变化的规律无明显影响.  相似文献

应用Dyson-M aleev变换,对强耦合激子—声子系统中在考虑相空间填充因子情况下光的线性极化率进行了计算,在理论上证明了强激子-声子的相互作用对产生电磁感应透明起着重要作用,当信号光场频率与激子频率的失谐量等于光学声子的频率时,会出现电磁感应透明现象,并对考虑与不考虑相空间填充因子的两种情况作了比较,发现相空间填充因子对产生电磁感应透明现象没有实质的影响,只是使超慢光效应略有减弱。  相似文献

在强耦合极化子模型基础上,采用Lee-Low-Pines(LLP)变分法研究了极性晶体膜中激子与表面光学(SO)声子强耦合、与体纵光学(LO)声子弱耦合体系的性质.讨论了极性晶体膜中激子的诱生势与膜厚度和温度的变化关系.结果表明:激子的诱生势不仅与电子-空穴间距离有关,而且与极性晶体膜厚度有关,同时温度对激子诱生势的影响十分显著.  相似文献

本文将基于有效质量近似下的变分法,理论研究了纤锌矿InGaN/GaN staggered量子阱中的激子态和光学性质.数值结果显示了InGaN量子阱中的量子尺寸和staggered受限垒对束缚于量子阱中的激子态和光学性质有着明显的影响.当阱宽增加时,量子受限效应减弱,激子结合能降低,带间发光波长增加.另一方面,当量子阱中staggered受限势增加时,量子受限效应增强,激子结合能升高,带间发光波长降低.本文的理论结果证明了可以通过调节staggered垒高和量子尺寸来调控纤锌矿InGaN staggered量子阱中的激子态和光学性质.  相似文献

We experimentally investigate the spatial and temporal properties of a nonlinear optical system composed of an optically addressed spatial light modulator and a two-dimensional optical feedback. The system property is examined using fringes with only one spatial wave vector. The fringes are spontaneously generated using a spatial frequency filter in the optical feedback. We also experimentally investigate the properties of the spatial light modulator in the system using ordinary interference fringes in order to compare with the system property. We demonstrate that the spatial frequency response of the nonlinear optical system is identical to that of the spatial light modulator. We also demonstrate the distinctive temporal behavior of diffraction lights from the fringes generated in the system.  相似文献

The linear and nonlinear optical properties in a three-dimensional anisotropic quantum dot subjected to a uniform magnetic field directed with respect to the z-axis have been investigated within the compact-density matrix formalism and the iterative method. The dependence of the linear and nonlinear optical properties on the characteristic frequency of the parabolic potential, on the magnetic field, and on the incident optical intensity is studied in detail. Moreover, taking into account the position-dependent effective mass, the dependence of the linear and nonlinear optical properties on the dot radius is investigated. The results show that the optical absorption coefficients (ACs) and refractive index (RI) changes of the anisotropic quantum dot (QD) are strongly affected by these factors, and the position effect also plays an important role in the optical ACs and RI changes of the anisotropic QD.  相似文献

We investigate the nonlinear optical interaction through a periodic waveguide structure consisting of two alternating segments with different linear and nonlinear optical properties. A coupled equation system has been used to calculate the intensity of fundamental and second harmonic waves and the phase shift of the fundamental. The model has been experimentally tested with good results, but the effect of the phase shift has not been considered. Comparison with the quasi-phase match (QPM) technique has been presented. The novel features introduced by alternating segments with different linear and nonlinear optical properties have been discussed. The model shows a more flexible approach, which can be used in designing optical components based on coherent nonlinear interaction. Applications are straightforward for frequency doubler and all-optical switch.  相似文献

The nonlinear optical properties of an off-center hydrogenic donor in a two-dimensional quantum dot under applied magnetic field are investigated in detail by using the matrix diagonalization method. Based on the computed energies and wave functions, the linear, third-order and total optical absorption coefficients as well as the refractive index changes have been examined between the ground state (L=0) and the first excited state (L=1). The results show that the ion position, the applied magnetic field, the confinement frequency, and the incident optical intensity have an important influence on the nonlinear optical properties of off-center donors.  相似文献

在含时密度泛函理论水平上研究了溶剂对硝基苯胺分子非线性光学性质的影响 .溶剂效应通过极化连续模型来研究 .首先采用极化连续模型在密度泛函理论水平上优化了硝基苯胺分子在溶剂中的几何结构 ,从而研究了溶剂引起硝基苯胺分子几何结构的变化 .然后采用极化连续模型在含时密度泛函理论水平上计算了不同溶剂中硝基苯胺分子的激发态能量和电偶极矩 ,并利用两态模型首次给出了不同溶剂中二次谐波振荡过程的一阶非线性超极化率的色散关系 .计算结果表明 ,极性溶剂对硝基苯胺分子的非线性光学性质有较大的影响 .在低的辐射场频率下 ,理论给出的一阶非线性超极化率的色散关系和实验结果符合得较好 .最后对所得结果从理论上给出了可能的解释并讨论了两态模型的可靠性 .  相似文献

Quantum properties of parametric amplification and frequency conversion of an optical image in coupled parametric interactions are analyzed for the case of a remote object. The coupled-wave interaction consists of a traditional process of parametric amplification in the high-frequency pump field accompanied by the frequency mixing of generated and pump waves. The photon number density and signal-to-noise ratio at the interacting frequencies are studied in the image plane at the output of the nonlinear frequency converter in the fixed pump field approximation. The degree of entanglement of optical images at frequencies above and below the pump frequency is investigated.  相似文献

介绍了几种常见的硫系薄膜制备方法, 根据现有实验条件采用热蒸发法和磁控溅射法制备出Ge-Sb-Se三元体系硫系薄膜, 通过台阶仪测试薄膜的厚度和表面粗糙度, 计算出两种制备方法的成膜速率, 并通过X射线光电子能谱测试了两种制备方法所得薄膜与块体靶材组分的差别. 利用Z扫描技术和分光光度计测试了热蒸发法制备所得薄膜的三阶非线性性能和透过光谱, 计算出非线性折射率、非线性吸收系数和薄膜厚度等参数. 结果表明热蒸发法制备Ge-Sb-Se薄膜具有良好的物理结构和光学特性, 在集成光学器件方面很高的应用潜力.  相似文献

报道了新型金属络合物非线性光学材料ZCTC(硫氰硫锌镉)晶体的光学性质。测量了ZCTC晶体的折射率,计算了其相位匹配角度。进行了半导体激光(LD)室温下直接倍频实验。当808nm基频GaAlAs半导体激光功率为473mW时,获得了390μW、4040μnm紫光输出。实验表明ZCTC晶体是一种优良的半导体激光倍频紫外非线性光学材料。  相似文献

Semiorganic nonlinear optical material of dichloro(beta-alanine)cadmium(II) (DCBAC) have been synthesized and single crystals were grown by solvent evaporation method at room temperature. The lattice parameters of the grown crystals are determined by single crystal XRD. The modes of vibration of different molecular groups present in the sample were identified by the FTIR spectral analysis. Thermal stability of the crystal was investigated using thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The dielectric constants of the crystal were studied as a function of frequency and the results are discussed. The grown crystals are subjected to microhardness studies and the variation of the microhardness with the applied load is studied. The optical transmission spectra and second harmonic generation (SHG) were investigated to study its linear and nonlinear optical properties. The nonlinear optical (NLO) property of the crystal was confirmed by powder second harmonic generation (SHG) test. SHG efficiency is comparable to that of KDP.  相似文献
