Various three-body break-up reactions resulting from the bombardment of 7Li with 120 MeV 3He have been measured simultaneously in a kinematically complete experiment. Missing-mass spectra have been deduced for 4H, 4He, 4Li, 5He, 5Li, 6He, 6Li and 7Li. The ground states of 4H and 5He are well described as n-t and n-α P-wave final-state interactions, respectively. Evidence is found for relatively narrow states at very high excitation energies in several nuclei. The results are compared with those of other authors and with various theoretical predictions. 相似文献

Bound π-nuclear states can appear under certain realistic conditions in finite nuclei. The best prospects are certain medium-weight nuclei with dense central regions and large neutron excess. Numerical illustrations are given for 16O, 28Si, 32Na and 208Pb with realistic parameters for the interaction. Further, we show that the usual low-energy π nuclear potential develops pathological features like an infinity of bound states beyond a certain critical strength. The natural remedies are indicated. 相似文献

The supersymmetry assumption based on a system of valence interacting bosons and odd nucleons has been checked in the second half of the nuclear sd-shell. The dynamical supersymmetric hamiltonian restricted to the linear combination of chosen second-order Casimir invariants has been applied to energy levels of several nuclei organized in supermultiplets. The supersymmetry predictions for nine nuclei are in accord, to a good approximation, with experimental energy levels up to 4–7 MeV. 相似文献

Using a new phenomenological KN interaction which reproduces Λ(1405) as an I = 0 bound state of KN, we have investigated K--3 He(T=0) and K--4 He(T=1/2) within the framework of the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock(BHF) theory. Our calculations show that the above kaonic nuclear systems are both deeply bound. The binding energy BK-is 124.4 MeV(94.1 MeV) and the width Γ is 11.8 MeV(25.8 MeV) for K--3He(T=0)(K--4He(T =1/2)). 相似文献

The
-rays following the reaction 105 MeV 18O + 28Si have been measured using the EUROBALL IV, HECTOR and EUCLIDES arrays in order to investigate the predicted Jacobi shape transition. The high-energy
-ray spectrum from the GDR decay indicates the presence of large deformations in the hot 46Ti nucleus, in agreement with new theoretical calculations based on the rotating liquid-drop model.Received: 29 November 2002, Published online: 9 March 2004PACS:

Some properties of the projected Hartree-Fock functions which describe the ground state bands in 8Be, 12C and 20Ne, and the excited 8p-8h band in 16O are studied in order to answer the question whether these states correspond to real rotational motion in these light nuclei. 相似文献

We obtain mass spectra of the light and heavy meson-antimeson(molecular states) sectors by using a nonrelativistic potential model with Coulomb and one pion exchange potential terms for meson-meson interaction. The digamma decay widths are also obtained for the light sector. We compare our results with available experimental and theoretical data. 相似文献

We investigate the stability of the relativistic three-fermion system with a zero-range force in the light front form. In particular, introducing an invariant cut-off, we study the dependence of the bound state on the coupling strength also for cases where the two-fermion system is unbound. The relativistic Thomas collapse is discussed by solving the fully coupled integral equation system. Furthermore, we explicitly investigate the ground state mass of the three-fermion system and compare to previous simplified calculations. 相似文献

The role of various components in the wave function of loosely bound light nuclei is considered in terms of the cluster model by taking into account orbital polarization. We show that several structures corresponding to particular modes of nucleon motion can be concurrently important for such structures. Specific examples of simple and fairly flexible trial wave functions are given for the 8Be and 6He nuclei. Explicit expressions are derived for the microscopic wave functions of these nuclei and employed to calculate basic nuclear parameters for commonly used central exchange NN potentials. 相似文献

Measurements of the analyzing power for the pp-->pp eta reaction have been performed at excess energies of Q=10 and 36 MeV. The determined analyzing power is essentially consistent with zero, implying dominance of the s wave at both excess energies. The angular dependence of the analyzing power, combined with the isospin dependence of the total cross section for the eta meson production in nucleon-nucleon collisions, reveal that the excitation of the nucleon to the S11(1535) resonance is predominantly due to the exchange of the pi meson between the colliding nucleons. 相似文献

An important property—the dynamic deformation of B* light aligned nuclei—is investigated for the nuclear reactions A(x, y)B* → γ + B 0 by measuring the y-γ correlations. Dynamic deformation is determined from the orientation tensors of multipolar moments. Normalization constants of the contributions from even-rank orientation tensors are determined from the condition of coincidence between dynamic and static deformations of the B* nucleus for θ y = 0°. Experimental dynamic deformations of 12C(2+) nuclei caused by the inelastic scattering of α particles and deuterons are determined, along with the 10Be(2+) nuclei formed in reaction 9Be(d, p)10Be(2+). It is shown that the dynamic deformation of the aligned nuclei depends on how they are formed and their structure, and evolves substantially when the angle θ y is varied. 相似文献

We study the flavor-changing-neutral-current process c-->u micro(+) micro(-) using 1.3 fb(-1) of pp[over ] collisions at square root s = 1.96 TeV recorded by the D0 detector operating at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. We see clear indications of the charged-current mediated D(s)(+) and D(+)-->phipi(+) --> micro(+)micro(-)pi(+) final states with significance greater than 4 standard deviations above background for the D(+) state. We search for the continuum neutral-current decay of D(+)-->pi(+) micro(+) micro(-) in the dimuon invariant mass spectrum away from the phi resonance. We see no evidence of signal above background and set a limit of B(D(+) --> pi(+) micro(+) micro(-))<3.9 x 10(-6) at the 90% C.L. This limit places the most stringent constraint on new phenomena in the c--> u micro(+) micro(-) transition. 相似文献

The photoproduction of vector mesons on various nuclei has been studied using the CLAS detector at Jefferson Laboratory. The vector mesons, rho, omega, and varphi, are observed via their decay to e;{+}e;{-}, in order to reduce the effects of final-state interactions in the nucleus. Of particular interest are possible in-medium effects on the properties of the rho meson. The rho mass spectrum is extracted from the data on various nuclei, 2H, C, Fe, and Ti. We observe no significant mass shift and some broadening consistent with expected collisional broadening for the rho meson. 相似文献
