A novel coumarin-based compound 1 featuring thiosemicarbazone as binding unit, was reported as a colorimetric and fluorescent probe for the detection of fluoride anion. The addition of F? to a solution of probe 1 in tetrahydrofuran resulted in evident naked-eye color change from green-yellow to orange-red under daylight and obvious fluorescence quenching within 3 s. And the detection limit toward F? was calculated to be as low as 2.16 × 10?7 mol/L. 1H NMR titrations proved that the interaction between 1 and fluoride ion: hydrogen bond at low fluoride ion concentration, deprotonation at high fluoride ion concentration. Besides, it exhibited highly sensitivity and selectivity for F? over other examined ions (Cl?, Br?, I?, AcO?, NO3?, HSO4?, H2PO4?) in tetrahydrofuran solution.  相似文献

A new pyrazole-based fluorescent sensor, 5-amino-3-(5-phenyl-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide (compound 1), was studied for fluoride anion (F?) detection in organic or water-containing solution. This compound displayed both changes in UV–vis absorption and fluorescence emission spectra upon addition of F?. With increasing of F?, blue emission intensity increases drastically and reaches saturation with 607-fold enhancement at 424 nm. The results indicate that compound 1 has highly selectivity for fluoride detection over other anions, such as Cl?, Br?, I?, HSO4?, H2PO4? and AcO? in DMSO or aqueous DMSO solutions. 1H NMR titration and other experiments confirm that the sensing process is mainly from the deprotonation of the pyrazole–NH in compound 1.  相似文献

Novel chemosensors based on 2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)-4-phenylthiazole were synthesized and their anion sensing behaviors were investigated. Sensors 1 and 2 show fluoride ion selective behaviors related to their absorption and emission spectra amongst F?, CH3CO2 ?, H2PO4 ?, Cl?, Br?, I?, ClO4 ?, NO3 ?, and HSO4 ? anions. Sensor 2 shows color change upon interaction with F?. Interactions of 1, 2 and 3 with F? cause a red-shift in UV–vis absorption and a large Stokes shift in fluorescence emission due to the inhibition of ESIPT induced by the deprotonation of phenolic proton by F?.  相似文献

Two novel colorimetric receptors, S1 and S2, linked to one or two nitrophenylurea groups were synthesized in good yields, characterized and their chromogenic properties investigated towards various anions (F?, Cl?, Br?, I?, NO3?, AcO?, ClO4?, HSO4?, and H2PO4?) by UV–vis and 1H NMR techniques. The receptors, effectively and selectively, recognized and distinguished the biologically important F? from other anions such as Cl?, Br?, I? etc. in CH3CN. This selectivity could be easily observed by the naked eye, indicating that receptors S1 and S2 are potential colorimetric sensors for fluoride ion.  相似文献

A simple epoxy-based oligomer 1 bearing naphthalene unit at the chain-ends is reported to be highly selective ON–OFF type fluorescent probe for fluoride anion. The titled oligomer displayed fluorescence quenching upon addition of F?, resulting in selective detection of fluoride anion over other anions, such as AcO?, Cl?, Br?, I?, HSO4?, NO3? and H2PO4? in CH3CN. Fluorescence experiments suggest the significant influence of the oligomer chain on the sensitivity and selectivity of 1 towards fluoride anion.  相似文献

A highly selective isophorone‐boronate ester based chemosensor, ( 1 ) , having a dicyanovinyl moiety as a convenient colorimetric probe, has been designed. Different types of anionic analyte such as CH3COO?, ClO4?, Cl?, F?, PF6?, Br? and HSO4? were tested and among them only highly nucleophilic F? anion displayed significant response towards the sensor. Addition of the fluoride anion across the boron atom disrupts the π‐conjugation thereby shifts the absorption wavelength towards the redshift region due to the decrease in the HOMO‐LUMO energy gap and a colour change from yellow to blue is observed under visible light condition. The detection limit of this probe was calculated to be 3.25 × 10—8 M for fluoride anion. The binding constants and the detection limits of the sensor were calculated using absorption titration studies. The silica gel TLC strips dip‐coated by the chemosensor ( 1 ) revealed a colour change from yellow to brick red to naked eye.  相似文献

Monitoring the dynamic fluctuations of plant immune signaling molecules is particularly meaningful and challenging in crop protection. Herein, four rhodamine-functionalized probes (F1-F4) were designed and synthesized to attempt to selectively detect a plant hormone salicylic acid (SA). Screening results revealed that probe F1 bearing a 4,5-dimethoxy-2-nitrobenzyl carbamate moiety was extremely sensitive and selective towards SA along with a conspicuous fluorescence “turn-on” manner. The Job’s plot experiment disclosed a 1:1 binding mode together with a binding constant of 1.34 × 104 M?1, indicating that an appreciable hydrogen bonding interaction happened between probe F1 and SA, thereby leading to the spirolactam ring breakage and the succeeding fluorescence generation. Concentration-dependent titration assays offered an available linear relationship for quantifying SA (15–70 μM) and the detection limit of probe F1 to SA was 1 μM. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations displayed that a smaller energy gap (ΔEF1-Ⅱ = 498.89 kJ/mol) was obtained between its lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) and highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO), manifesting that probe F1 was more reactive and sensitive than those of probes F2-F4 (ΔE = 567.07 ~ 601.74 kJ/mol) after adsorption with salicylic acid. Meanwhile, the possible monitoring mechanism was elucidated by 1H NMR titration experiments, probe-SA DFT calculations, and HRMS. Finally, in vivo confocal imaging results found that probe F1 could delicately and selectively monitor SA on the roots of cucumber. This study can motivate the intensive exploration of multitudinous fluorescent probes for direct SA monitoring in vivo.  相似文献

Development of fluorescent chemical sensors for fluoride is important due to increased use of fluoride in environment. A fused bis[2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)benzoxazole] 5, which is capable of giving ESIPT emission, is found to be a useful fluorescent sensor for fluoride detection. Upon binding to fluoride, bis(HBO) 5 shows a large spectral shift in both fluorescence (from ~490 nm to ~440 nm) and absorption (from 353 nm to 392 nm). In comparison with the isomeric 4, bis(HBO) 5 dramatically improves the sensitivity in fluoride binding (by an order of magnitude), revealing a large impact of regiochemistry on the sensor performance. 1H NMR has been used to study the fluoride binding, and to correlate the intramolecular hydrogen bonding with the fluoride response. Sensitivity of 5 towards fluoride is as low as 10?5 M. Bis(HBO) 5 also showed excellent selectivity towards fluoride while being silent to other anions (Cl?, Br?, HS? and PO43?), thus making 5 a potentially useful probe.  相似文献

In view of the few reports of the near-infrared emissive probe for fluorine ions, we herein designed and synthesized a new easy-to-get colorimetric and near-infrared emissive fluorescent probe (IS-NR-F) with a large Stokes shift (>127 nm). Based on specific F? triggered desilylation reaction induced enhanced ICT strategy involving the donor phenolate anion and the acceptor malononitrile, the probe exhibited dual colorimetric and fluorescent turn-on responses, and provided excellent selectivity for fluoride ions. The fluorescent response at 665 nm displayed very good linear relationship in the wide concentration range and deduced a low detection limit of 0.09 ppm. The detection mechanism was confirmed by 1H NMR, ESI-MS, and TLC calculation. Moreover, probe IS-NR-F has been successfully employed to detect F? in tap water, toothpaste samples, and fluorescent imaging of F? in HeLa cells.  相似文献

Three fluorescent turn‐on probes containing 3,6‐dichloro‐9H‐carbazole as carbazyl part have been designed and synthesized. Among studied anions F?, AcO?, H2PO , Cl?, Br? and I?, AcO? showed the strongest binding ability with all probes. The strong basic anions, such as AcO?, H2PO , and F?, induced a significant red‐shift in absorption and a concomitant increase in fluorescent emission of the probes caused by photoinduced electron transfer (PET). The determination limit of probe 3 (Scheme 1) toward AcO? is 3.0×10?7 M . 1H‐NMR Titration experiments shed light on the nature of the interaction between the probes and the anions. Theoretical investigation further illustrated the possible binding mode in these host? guest interactions and the roles of molecular frontier orbitals in molecular interplay.  相似文献

A novel and simple fluorescence probe was synthesized from benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene (BDT) and trimethylsilylethyne via Sonogashira reaction, and showed highly selective and sensitive fluorescence decreasing response towards F?. The probe molecule turned to a weakly fluorescent terminal alkyne moiety because its trimethylsilyl (TMS) group was cleaved by fluoride, which was proved by 1H NMR titration. Whereas no distinct fluorescent changes were observed with the addition of other anions, such as Cl?, Br?, I?, AcO? and H2PO4?. Upon the addition of F?, the maximum fluorescence emission wavelength shifted from 460 nm to 450 nm with a decrease of fluorescence intensity by 40% within 20 s. Moreover, the detection limit towards F? was calculated to be as low as 73.5 nmol/L.  相似文献

Triphenylamine-based new chemosensors 1 and 2 have been designed and synthesized for fluorometric detection of anions. The urea-amide conjugates in 1 and 2 are involved in binding of anions via hydrogen bonding. UV?Cvis and fluorescence titration experiments revealed that the sensor 1 has the selectivity for acetate (AcO?), dihydrogenphosphate (H2PO4 ?) and fluoride (F?) over the other anions examined in the present study, in CHCl3. In comparison, receptor 2 is non responsive for the same anions under similar conditions. In more polar solvent CH3CN containing 0.1% DMSO, the receptor 1 shows a greater selectivity towards fluoride. The color of the solution of 1 is changed from colorless to light yellow and finally to yellowish brown only in the presence of fluoride in CH3CN containing 10% DMSO. In pure DMSO and CH3CN solvents, almost colorless solution of 1 is transformed into blood red and reddish brown in the presence of 30 equivalent amounts of F?, respectively.  相似文献

We have recorded the infrared spectra of crystalline K+H2F3?, K+H3F4?, and K+H4F5? at room temperature and 12–18 K. The broad (4̃00 cm?1) anion F-H stretching bands for these three salts are not resolved at low temperature; however, in each case the F-H-F bending region is resolved into the maximum number of bands predicted by theory. The complexity of the F-H-F bending mode region shows the H4F5? ion to be of lower symmetry than predicted by X-ray studies. The H3F4? ion has three hydrogen fluorides hydrogen bonded to a central fluoride ion, rather than a chain type structure. The F-H stretching bands for the three ions have very similar frequencies (1750–1800 cm?1), which shows the hydrogen bonds in the three ions to be of about the same strength, and to be significantly weaker than the hydrogen bond in the HF2? ion.  相似文献

A simple pincer-shape anion receptor L1 containing amide-pyridinium as binding unit was synthesized and its anion binding properties were investigated by UV–Vis, NMR titration spectra and molecular simulation. L1 displayed better affinity toward AcO? ion with visible color change compared with other investigated anions, including F?, H2PO4 ?, Cl?, Br?, I?, NO3 ? and HSO4 ? ions. The selectivity was ascribed to the synergistic effects arising from hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interaction and induced-fit process.  相似文献

We report here a selective, efficient and very simple receptor which can easily detect F? in the presence of a wide range of other anions [Cl?, Br?, I?, HSO 4 ? , NO 3 ? , Acetate (AcO ?) and Benzoate (BzO ?)] by use of colorimetric or fluorometric detection. 4-Chloro-2,6-bis(hydroxymethyl) phenol (CBHMP) is a simple and available phenolic receptor having no special chromophoric function. In this colorimetric method, naked-eye detection of F? with CBHMP is described. Interestingly, fluorometric detection of F? is also possible by highly selective fluorescent quenching response CBHMP in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) media.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A new, highly sensitive and selective chemosensing method has been developed for the detection of cyanide ion using benzamide hydrazone receptors (R1-R4). The sensing ability of these compounds towards CN? in the presence of Br ?, HSO4 ?, Cl?, OH?, I?, F?, AcO?, NO2 ? and NO3 ? in DMF and DMF-Aqueous mixture (DMF:H2O, 9:1 v/v) was investigated. The binding characteristics of the probe with cyanide ions carried out by 1 H NMR titrations indicated the deprotonation of N-H group through H-bond interactions between benzamide hydrazones and cyanide ions; it has been theoretically supported by DFT. The binding constant (Ka) and stoichiometry of the host–guest complex formed was calculated by the Benesi–Hildebrand (B–H) plot, and strong interaction of the probe with CN- ions forming a 1:2 binding stoichiometry has been noted in this study. In a DMF and aqueous medium for CN? ion, the lower limit of detection (LOD in ppm) is compared to the limit of quantification (LOQ in ppm), which is quite better in terms of sensitivity.  相似文献

A ratiometric fluorescent probe 1 for fluoride ion was developed based on modulation of the excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) process of 2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)benzimidazole (HPBI) through the hydroxyl group protection/deprotection reaction. The probe 1 was readily prepared by the reaction of HPBI with tert-butyldimethylsilyl chloride (TBS-Cl) and shows only fluorescence emission maximum at 360 nm. Upon treatment with fluoride in aqueous DMF solution, the TBS protective group of probe 1 was removed readily and ESIPT of the probe was switched on, which resulted in a decrease of the emission band at 360 nm and an increase of a new fluorescence peak around 454 nm. The fluorescent intensity ratio at 454 and 360 nm (I454/I360) increases linearly with fluoride ion concentration in the range 0.3-8.0 μmol L−1 and the detection limit is 0.19 μmol L−1. The proposed probe shows excellent selectivity toward fluoride ion over other common anions. The method has been successfully applied to the fluoride determination in toothpaste and tap water samples.  相似文献

A new thiacalix[4]arene based fluorescent chemosensor thiacalix[4]arene-N-(quinolin-8-yl)acetamide (TCAN8QA) has been synthesized. TCAN8QA has been found to exhibit highly selective behavior for F ions among all other anions, that is, Cl, Br, I, PO4−3, OH, H2PO4, and CH3COO in the absorption spectra as well as in the emission spectra. Red shift and quenching in emission spectra constituting the signature for fluoride detection are due to photoinduced charge transfer (PCT) which can be attributed to deprotonation of acidic NH proton in the presence of fluoride ions.  相似文献

Adamantane-dipyrromethane (AdD) receptors [di(pyrrole-2-yl)methyladamantane (1), 2,2-di(pyrrole-2-yl)adamantane (2), 1,3-bis[di(pyrrole-2-yl)methyl]adamantane (3), 2,2,6,6-tetra(pyrrole-2-yl)adamantane (4)] form complexes with F, Cl, Br, AcO, NO3, HSO4, and H2PO4. The association constants of the complexes were determined by 1H NMR titrations, whereas the geometries of complexes 1·F (2:1), 2·F (2:1), 2·Cl (2:1), 2·AcO (2:1), and 4·F (1:1) were determined by X-ray structural analysis. The most stable complexes are of 2:1 stoichiometry with F and AcO. The stability constants are in accordance with the anion basicity and the ability of AdD receptors to place the hydrogen bonding donor groups in a tetrahedral fashion around anions. The binding energies of the complexes between receptors 1-4 and F anion are calculated using quantum chemical methods. The calculated results show that the solvent polarity is important for the complexation of fluoride ion with AdD receptors 1-4.  相似文献

Abstract

The use of an electrochemical detector for the ion chromatographic detection of non-oxidizable anions such as F?, PO4 ?3, NO3 ?, and SO4 ?2 is described. The electrochemical detector is placed in line after a fiber suppressor and responds to eluent pH changes as the dissociated acids pass through the detector. The intensity of the signal is dependent on the applied potential at the cell with 0.3V being an optimum. Minimum detection limits with a 0.10 mL sample injection volume are below 0.5 ppm for F?, Cl?, PO4 ?3, NO3 ?, and SO4 ?2. No adverse effects on the silver working electrode have been observed.  相似文献
