The synthesis of new phenothiazinyl- and phenyl-nitrones under classical versus microwave heating conditions is described. Better yields were obtained under microwave irradiation in the condensation reactions of phenothiazyl-carbaldehyde with hydroxylamine derivatives. The structures of the new phenothiazinyl-nitrones were assigned on the basis of MS, FT–IR and NMR spectra. The new nitrones and some known phenyl-nitrones were screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activity against several Candida species, Gram negative bacteria, such as Ecoli, Citrobacter spp, Morganella spp, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae (± ESBL), Proteus spp, Acinetobacter spp and the Gram positive bacterium Staphylococcus aureus, with moderate results.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the tetragonal rare earth (RE) oxychlorides, REOCl (RE=La-Nd, Sm-Ho, and Y) were studied by X-ray powder diffraction measurements, Rietveld analyses, and bond valence calculations. The tetragonal structure (space group P4/nmm, No. 129, Z=2) is stable for all but Er-Lu oxychlorides, which possess a hexagonal structure. The tetragonal structure consists of alternating layers of (REO)nn+ complex cations and Xn anions, where the rare earth is coordinated to four oxygens and four plus one chlorines in a monocapped tetragonal antiprism arrangement. The Rietveld analyses yielded a coherent series of structural parameters. Preferred orientation and microabsorption effects were found significant. The evolution of interatomic distances and bond angles indicated that the reason for the preferred structure changing from tetragonal to hexagonal is the strain in the chlorine layer. The bond valence parameter B for the RE-O bonds had to be recalculated due to the covalent nature of the (REO)nn+ unit. The results obtained with the new parameter confirmed the strains in the chlorine layer to be the cause for the phase transition.  相似文献

(1S,2R,3S)-, (1R,2R,3S)- and (1S,2R,3R)-4-amino-1,2,3-trihydroxybutylphosphonic acids were synthesised. The synthetic strategy involved preparation of the respective 4-azido-2,3-O-isopropylidene-l-threose or -d-erythrose, addition of dialkyl phosphites, separation of C-1 epimeric O,O-dibenzyl phosphonates, the reduction of azides and the removal of the protecting groups. The (2R,3S) and (2R,3R) configurations in the final products were secured by employing diethyl l-tartrate and d-isoascorbic acid as starting materials. The stereochemical course of the addition to the carbonyl groups in 4-azido-2,3-O-isopropylidene-l-threose or -d-erythrose followed that established earlier for 2,3-O-isopropylidene-d-glyceraldehyde and similar (3:1-4:1) diastereoselectivities were achieved.  相似文献

In the current study, gold nanoparticles (AuC6NPs and AuC8NPs) were prepared through sodium borohydride reduction method by using Calix[6]rene and Calix[8]rene as a stabilizing agents. The synthesized AuNPs were screened for cytotoxic, phytotoxic, antifungal and antibacterial activities. The fabricated AuNPs were characterized by UV–visible spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM) and FTIR spectroscopy. Antibacterial activities of the AuNPs were tested against E. coli and S. aureus. The AuC6NPs were found to be effective against the growth of gram positive bacteria and inhibited the growth of S. aureus. AuC6NPs interact with bacterial cell and damaged cell membrane. Roughness of the bacterial surface and membrane rupture can be clearly observed by AFM images. The AuNPs possess insignificant antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans. Moreover, AuC8NPs have significant phytotoxicity and moderate cytotoxicity.  相似文献

The monoclinic modification of terbium oxide hydroxide, TbOOH, was prepared using hydrothermal technique. The crystal structure was investigated by three-dimensional single-crystal X-ray analysis and was refined to a conventional R-value of 8.1%. The space group is P21m, No. 11, with a = 6.04 Å, b = 3.69 Å, c = 4.33 Å, and β = 109.0°. The terbium atom is seven coordinated with oxygen atoms, and the structure is not hydrogen bonded.The compound is antiferromagnetic with a Néel temperature of 10°K. Neutron diffraction powder patterns were measured at 300°K and 4.2°K. The magnetic super lattice reflections were indexed on the basis of a monoclinic unit cell with the dimensions aM = 2a, bM = b, cM = c, and βM = β, where a, b, c, and β are the dimensions of the chemical unit cell. The structure contains two independent magnetic atoms. A nonclinear antiferromagnetic arrangement of the spins describes the magnetic structure. The spin at one atom has an angle of 43° with the ac plane and the projection of the spin on the ac plane has an angle of 59° with the a axis. The spin on the other atom has an angle of ?43° with the ac plane, the projection having the same angle of 59° with the a axis.  相似文献

The synthesis of 3a,7a-dihydro-3H,4H-furo[3,4-c]pyran-1-ones via an intramolecular hetero-Diels-Alder reaction of easily accessible α,β-unsaturated γ-ketoesters was investigated. The reaction was found to proceed in a highly stereoselective way leading to single, cis-configured product isomers. The same diastereomer is formed, independently of the configuration of the enone double bond of the precursor. The respective E- and Z-isomers react either through an endo-E-syn or an exo-Z-syn transition state.  相似文献

N-Methyl-, N-n-butyl-, N-t-butylperfluoroarylamines undergo nitrosation with nitrous acid to give the corresponding N-nitroso derivatives. Perfluoroaryl groups were selected from the benzene, indane, biphenyl, naphthalene and pyridine series. According to 1H and 19F NMR spectra, N-nitroso-N-methyl derivatives of polyfluoroarenes consist of E and Z isomers with the former prevailing. The more bulky n-butyl group promotes an increase in the formation of Z isomers. Only Z isomers have been obtained from N-t-butyl derivatives of perfluorinated 4-toluidine and 4-aminopyridine. The structure of the Z isomer of N-nitroso-N-methylperfluoro-4-toluidine is confirmed by X-ray data.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the possibility of using Aronia melanocarpa, Chaenomeles superba, and Cornus mas leaf extracts as natural preservatives for pork meat products. Pork sausages were stored in modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) (80% N2 and 20% CO2) at 4 °C for 29 days. The total psychrotrophic counts (TPC) were determined during the storage period, along with the numbers of Enterobacteriaceae and lactic acid bacteria (LAB). The extracts improved the microbial quality of the meat products but to a lesser extent than sodium nitrate (III). They reduced the amounts of Enterobacteriaceae and LAB. The A. melanocarpa leaf extract showed the strongest preservative effect. The bacterial biodiversity of the meat products was investigated based on high-throughput sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene. Two predominant bacteria phyla were identified, Proteobacteria and Firmucutes, mostly consisting of genera Photobacterium, Brochothrix, and Carnobacterium. The extracts also influenced microbial community in sausages decreasing or increasing bacterial relative abundance. The extracts significantly inhibited lipid oxidation and improved the water-holding capacity of the meat, with C. superba extract showing the strongest influence. In addition, A. melanocarpa and C. superba improved the redness (a*) of the sausages. The results of this study show that A. melanocarpa, C. superba, and C. mas leaf extracts can extend the shelf life of meat products stored in MAP at 4 °C.  相似文献

The topics discussed here include methods for the enzymatic acylation of meso-diols and the hydrolysis of meso-diesters, acylation, related reactions of meso-diols with organocatalysts and metal catalysts, the oxidation of meso-diols by enzymes, organocatalysts, and metal catalysts, and the desymmetrization of meso-dicarbamates with metal catalysts. In this paper, elastic behaviors of non-Gaussian polymethylene (PM) chains with chain length N=100 are investigated by rotational isomeric state model. Here the tetrahedral lattice of PM chain and the non-local interaction of Sutherland potential are adopted. In the metropolis movement of PM chain, a four-bond movement model is used. The average energy and average Helmholtz free energy with various elongation ratios λ are calculated by Monte Carlo simulation method. The average energy increases with elongation ratio λ and the average Helmholtz free energy decreases with elongation ratio λ. The elastic force f and the energy contribution to elastic force fu can be obtained from f=∂〈A〉/∂r and f=∂〈U〉/∂r. We find that the elastic force f increases with elongation ratio λ and the energy contribution fu decreases with elongation ratio λ, and fu is less than zero. The ratio fu/f is close to −0.21 for λ?1.25, and −0.04 to −0.35 for λ>1.25 at T=364 K. In our calculation, the rubber elasticity may be discussed in terms of the chemical structure of polymer chains.  相似文献

The transformation of the chains in the amorphous sulphur was investigated by calorimetric method at the temperature range from 288 to 303 K. The absolute configurations of the secondary alcohols at C-3 position in betulinic acid and 3-epibetulinic acid have been unambiguously determined as S- and R-configurations, respectively, based on the fucofuranoside method. The absolute stereochemistry of 3α, 27-dihydroxylupen-20(29)-en-28-oic acid methyl ester, a potent topoisomerase II inhibitor, was determined to be 3R, 5R, 8R, 9R, 10R, 13R, 14S, 17S, 18R, and 19R by NMR and ORD spectroscopic studies.  相似文献

A procedure based on QuEChERS extraction and a simultaneous liquid–liquid partition clean-up was developed. The procedure involved extraction of hydrated soil samples using acetonitrile and clean-up by liquid–liquid partition into n-hexane. The hexane extracts produced were clean and suitable for determination using gas chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (GC–MS/MS). The method was validated by analysis of soil samples, spiked at five levels between 1 and 200 μg kg−1. The recovery values were generally between 70 and 100% and the relative standard deviation values (%RSDs) were at or below 20%. The procedure was validated for determination of 19 organochlorine (OC) pesticides. These were hexachlorobenzene (HCB), α-HCH, β-HCH, γ-HCH, heptachlor, heptachlor epoxide (trans), aldrin, dieldrin, chlordane (trans), chlordane (cis), oxychlordane, α-endosulfan, β-endosulfan, endosulfan sulfate, endrin, p,p′-DDT, o,p′-DDT, p,p′-DDD and p,p′-DDE. The method achieved low limits of detection (LOD; typically 0.3 μg kg−1) and low limits of quantification (LOQ; typically 1.0 μg kg−1). The method performance was also assessed using five fortified soil samples with different physico-chemical properties and the method performance was consistent for the different types of soil samples. The proposed method was compared with an established procedure based on Soxtec extraction. This comparison was carried out using six soil samples collected from regions of Pakistan with a history of intensive pesticide use. The results of this comparison showed that the two procedures produced results with good agreement. The proposed method produced cleaner extracts and therefore led to lower limits of quantification. The proposed method was less time consuming and safer to use. The six samples tested during this comparison showed that soils from cotton growing regions contained a number of persistent OC residues at relatively low levels (<10 μg kg−1). These residues were α-HCH, γ-HCH, heptachlor, chlordane (trans), p,p′-DDT, o,p′-DDT, p,p′-DDD, p,p′-DDE, β-endosulfan and endosulfan sulfate.  相似文献

The sol-gel transition in aqueous gellan gum solutions induced upon cooling was investigated by rheology measurements. The gelation temperature was determined from the crossover point of storage and loss moduli, i.e., G′ = G′′ (Tc) and from the Winter’s criterion (Tgel), respectively, which increased with gellan concentration. Tgel was higher than Tc and the difference became larger as the gellan concentration got higher. The relaxation critical exponent n was estimated with the Winter’s method and the self-similarity was observed from the critical gel. The scaling for the zero-shear viscosity η0 before the gel point and the equilibrium modulus Ge after the gel point was established against the relative distance ε from the gel point over the gellan concentration Cg of 1.0-2.5 wt%, giving the critical exponents k and z. The critical exponent n calculated from k and z agrees well with n from the Winter’s criterion. However, no universal n was found for the gelation in aqueous gellan gum solutions, indicating that this gelation should be classified into the cross-linking category for the physical gelation. The critical exponent n decreased with increasing Cg for the gellan gum solution. The fractal dimension df calculated from n with the screened hydrodynamic interaction and the excluded volume effect suggested a denser structure in the critical gel with higher Cg.  相似文献

The fine structure of the 1s5f and 1s5g levels of He I was measured using microwave spectroscopy. The helium atoms were excited by ion impact, and the eleven allowed 1s5f 2S+1 F J –1s5g 2S′+1 G J , transitions near ν≈15 GHz were induced and detected by measuring the 1s4d–1s2p or 1s3d–1s2p spectral-line intensities of the impact radiation as a function of the microwave frequency. The measured transition frequencies are in accord with theoretical values and, except for one transition frequency, with earlier experimental data. The existing discrepancy between these earlier data and theory could be solved.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of selected seven commercial essential oils (EsO) (grapefruit, lemongrass, tea tree (TTO), thyme, verbena, cajeput, and Litsea cubeba) on isolates of common Central European parasitic fungal species of Fusarium obtained from infected wheat kernels, and to evaluate the oils as potential natural fungicides. The study was conducted in 2 stages. At each stage, the fungicidal activity of EsO (with concentrations of 0.025; 0.05; 0.125; 0.25; 0.50; 1.0, and 2.0%) against Fusarium spp. was evaluated using the disc plate method and zones of growth inhibition were measured. At the first stage, the fungistatic activity of EsO was evaluated against four species of Fusarium from the Polish population (F. avenaceum FAPL, F. culmorum FCPL, F. graminearum FGPL and F. oxysporum FOPL). The correlation coefficient between the mycelial growth rate index (T) and the fungistatic activity (FA) was calculated. At the second stage, on the basis of the mycelium growth rate index, the effectiveness of the EsO in limiting the development of Fusarium isolates from the German population (F. culmorum FC1D, F. culmorum FC2D, F. graminearum FG1D, F. graminearum FG2D and F. poae FP0D) was assessed. The first and second stage results presented as a growth rate index were then used to indicate essential oils (as potential natural fungicides) effectively limiting the development of various common Central European parasitic species Fusarium spp. Finally, the sensitivity of four Fusarium isolates from the Polish population and five Fusarium isolates from the German population was compared. The data were compiled in STATISTICA 13.0 (StatSoft, Inc, CA, USA) at the significance level of 0.05. Fusarium isolates from the German population were generally more sensitive than those from the Polish population. The sensitivity of individual Fusarium species varied. Their vulnerability, regardless of the isolate origin, in order from the most to the least sensitive, is as follows: F. culmorum, F. graminearum, F. poae, F. avenaceum and F. oxysporum. The strongest fungicidal activity, similar to Funaben T, showed thyme oil (regardless of the concentration). Performance of citral oils (lemongrass and Litsea cubeba) was similar but at a concentration above 0.025%.  相似文献

Growing data suggest that Aspergillus niger, an endophytic fungus, is a rich source of natural compounds with a wide range of biological properties. This study aimed to examine the antimicrobial and antibiofilm capabilities of the Phragmites australis-derived endophyte against a set of pathogenic bacteria and fungi. The endophytic fungus Aspergillus sp. AP5 was isolated from the leaves of P. australis. The chemical profile of the fungal crude extract was identified by spectroscopic analysis using LC-HRESIMS. The fungal-derived extract was evaluated for its antimicrobial activity towards a set of pathogenic bacterial and fungal strains including Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella sp., Candida albicans, and Aspergillus niger. Moreover, antibiofilm activity toward four resistant biofilm-forming bacteria was also evaluated. Additionally, a neural-networking pharmacophore-based visual screening predicted the most probable bioactive compounds in the obtained extract. The AP5-EtOAc extract was found to have potent antibacterial activities against S. aureus, E. coli, and Klebsiella sp., while it exhibited low antibacterial activity toward P. Vulgaris and P. aeruginosa and displayed anticandidal activity. The AP5-EtOAc extract had significant antibiofilm activity in S. aureus, followed by P. aeruginosa. The active metabolites’ antifungal and/or antibacterial activities may be due to targeting the fungal CYP 51 and/or the bacterial Gyr-B.  相似文献

The specific interfacial area (S/V) and interfacial thickness in each microstructure of styrene-isoprene diblock copolymer were estimated by analyzing the deviations from Porod’s law. The thermally induced phase transitions proceeded from lamellae (L) to hexagonally ordered cylinder (HEX), via hexagonally perforated layer (HPL) and gyroid (G). The S/V ratio increased stepwise at the order-order transition (OOT) from L to HEX, via HPL and G. The S/V data can be utilized for OOT determination.  相似文献

The fringing field region of a quadrupole mass filter is modelled using an iterative finite difference technique to solve Laplace's equation for the electrostatic potential. The results are used to formulate an expression f(z) such that the electrostatic potential of the fringing field, F(x, y, z, t) may be written in the form F(x, y, z, t) = f(z) φ(x, y, t), where φ(x, y, t) is the hyperbolic field of the quadrupole. The function f(z) is expressed in the form f(z) = 1 - exp {- az - bz2}), where a and b are constants and z is in units of rO, where 2rO is the spacing of the quadrupole rods. The effect of the distance from the quandrupole rods to the end plate of the quadrupole mass filter, d on f(z) is investigated and the results presented show that for d < 0.125 rO the function f(z) does not alter significantly.  相似文献

To understand the influence of formaldehyde/urea (F/U) mole ratio on the properties of urea–formaldehyde (UF) resins, this study investigated hardness of cured UF resins with different F/U mole ratios using a nanoindentation method. The traditional Brinell hardness (HB) method was also used for comparison. The HB of cured UF resin films with different F/U mole ratios was determined after exposing the films to different post-curing temperatures. The nanoindentation method was employed for these films to measure Meyer hardness (HM) and reduced modulus (Er) which have been used to calculate the elastic modulus (Es) of cured UF resins. As the F/U mole ratio decreased, the HB decreased continuously, indicating a less rigid network structure in low F/U mole ratio UF resins. The higher the post-curing temperature, the greater the value of HB. The HM value also showed a similar trend as a function of F/U mole ratio. However, the Er and Es did not show a consistent trend as exhibited by HM and HB. Both HM and Er showed much greater variation in the coefficient of variation (COV) at lower F/U mole ratios 1.0 and 1.2, indicating a more heterogeneous composition of these resins. Linear relationships between HM and Er indicate that heterogeneity of the surface composition of samples contributes greatly to variations in the measured values. This variability is discussed in terms of crystal structures present in the cured UF resins of low F/U mole ratios.  相似文献
