The paper derives the general form of the tensor of dielectric permittivity? ij(ω,k), Eq. (15), of non-relativistic hot magnetoactive collisionless plasma taking into consideration the influence of spatial dispersion. The general form of the tensor? ij(ω,k) is used to express the tensorε ij(ω,k) in the region of weak and strong spatial dispersion and in some special cases. A general dispersion equation (30) is derived and an analysis is made of the waves propagating in hot magnetoactive plasma. The expressions derived are used to investigate the damping of a right-handed circularly polarized wave propagating in hot magnetoactive plasma in the direction of the magnetic field.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss an asymptotic method which permits one to separate the initial equations for the fields in a plane stratified plasma into two independent systems, describing waves of differing types which propagate in a single direction. The coefficients of the derived equations remain regular at points of equality between the indices of refraction of normal waves, n1=n2. The equations are used to analyze a specific type of interaction which is of current interest in connection with research on low-frequency waves in the ionosphere. A solution is found by the method of the standard system which describes the field in the interaction region; outside this region, it turns into the geometric optics solution. Results are given of the theoretical and experimental investigation of the propagation of waves of the superhigh-frequency range through cyclindrical and rectangular waveguides partially filled with anisotropic solid-state plasma. Conclusions In this paper we have studied the dispersion characteristics of nonpotential surface waves in two- and three-layered magnetized wave-bearing structures. For the case of a vacuum cavity in an infinite plasma, we have obtained an analytic solution for the SW frequency in a regime which is highly nonpotential. We have shown that when the thickness of the plasma layer in a vacuum-plsma-vacuum waveguide is reduced, the dispersion changes its character.We have investigated numerically how magnetic fields, the radii of the cylinders, and the azimuthal wave number affect the LF and HF branches of the spectrum of surface waves.Khar'kov State University. The gravitational radiation accompanying propagation of a high-frequency electromagnetic wave within a plasma is considered. It is shown that if the electromagnetic wavelength is much greater than the Debye radius, the major contribution to gravitational radiation is produced by combination transformation with frequency change Δω=±wL.  相似文献
