The idea of quasi-Green’s function method is clarified by considering a free vibration problem of the simply-supported trapezoidal shallow spherical shell. A quasi-Green’s function is established by using the fundamental solution and boundary equation of the problem. This function satisfies the homogeneous boundary condition of the prob-lem. The mode shape differential equations of the free vibration problem of a simply-supported trapezoidal shallow spherical shell are reduced to two simultaneous Fredholm integral equations of the second kind by the Green formula. There are multiple choices for the normalized boundary equation. Based on a chosen normalized boundary equa-tion, a new normalized boundary equation can be established such that the irregularity of the kernel of integral equations is overcome. Finally, natural frequency is obtained by the condition that there exists a nontrivial solution to the numerically discrete algebraic equations derived from the integral equations. Numerical results show high accuracy of the quasi-Green’s function method.  相似文献

By using the fundamental equations of axisymmetric shallow shells of revolution, the nonlinear bending of a shallow corrugated shell with taper under arbitrary load has been investigated. The nonlinear boundary value problem of the corrugated shell was reduced to the nonlinear integral equations by using the method of Green's function. To solve the integral equations, expansion method was used to obtain Green's function. Then the integral equations were reduced to the form with degenerate core by expanding Green's function as series of characteristic function. Therefore, the integral equations become nonlinear algebraic equations. Newton' s iterative method was utilized to solve the nonlinear algebraic equations. To guarantee the convergence of the iterative method, deflection at center was taken as control parameter. Corresponding loads were obtained by increasing deflection one by one. As a numerical example, elastic characteristic of shallow corrugated shells with spherical taper was studied.Calculation results show that characteristic of corrugated shells changes remarkably. The snapping instability which is analogous to shallow spherical shells occurs with increasing load if the taper is relatively large. The solution is close to the experimental results.  相似文献

According to the differential equation for transverse displacement function of anisotropic rectangular thin plates in free vibration, a general analytical solution is established. This general solution, composed of the composite solutions of trigonometric function and hyperbolic function, can satisfy the problem of arbitrary boundary conditions along four edges. The algebraic polynomial with double sine series solutions can also satisfy the problem of boundary conditions at four corners. Consequently, this general solution can be used to solve the vibration problem of anisotropic rectangular plates with arbitrary boundaries accurately. The integral constants can be determined by boundary conditions of four edges and four corners. Each natural frequency and vibration mode can be solved by the determinate of coefficient matrix from the homogeneous linear algebraic equations equal to zero. For example, a composite symmetric angle ply laminated plate with four edges clamped has been calculated and discussed.  相似文献

This paper deals with the axisymmetrical deformation of shallow shells in largedeflection, which are in conjunction with linear elastic structures at the boundary.A methodof mixed boundary condition for this problem is introduced.then the problem of a compositestructure is transformed into a problem of a single structure and the integral equations aregiven. The perturbation method is used to obtain the solutions and an example of compositestructure consisting of a shallow spherical and a cylindrical shell is presented.  相似文献

The method of complex function and the method of Green‘s function are used to investigate the problem of SH-wave scattering by radial cracks of any limited length along the radius originating at the boundary of an elliptical hole, and the solution of dynamicstress intensity factor at the crack tip was given. A Green‘s function was constructed for the problem, which is a basic solution of displacement field for an elastic half space containing a half elliptical gap impacted by anti-plane harmonic linear source force at any point of its horizontal boundary. With division of a crack technique, a series of integral equations can be established on the conditions of continuity and the solution of dynamic stress intensity factor can be obtained. The influence of an elliptical hole on the dynamic stress intensity factor at the crack tip was discussed.  相似文献

Based on the large deflection dynamic equations of axisymmetric shallow shells of revolution, the nonlinear forced vibration of a corrugated shallow shell under uniform load is investigated. The nonlinear partial differential equations of shallow shell are reduced to the nonlinear integral-differential equations by the method of Green's function. To solve the integral-differential equations, expansion method is used to obtain Green's function. Then the integral-differential equations are reduced to the form with degenerate core by expanding Green's function as series of characteristic function. Therefore, the integral-differential equations become nonlinear ordinary differential equations with regard to time. The amplitude-frequency response under harmonic force is obtained by considering single mode vibration. As a numerical example, forced vibration phenomena of shallow spherical shells with sinusoidal corrugation are studied. The obtained solutions are available for reference to design of corrugated shells  相似文献

In this paper nonlinear analysis of a thin rectangular functionally graded piate is formulated in terms of von-Karman's dynamic equations. Functionaily Graded Material (FGM) properties vary through the constant thickness of the plate at ambient temperature. By expansion of the solution as a series of mode functions, we reduce the governing equations of motion to a Duffing's equation. The homotopy perturbation solution of generated Duffing's equation is also obtained and compared with numerical solutions. The sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic oscillatory behavior of the plate are established by using Green's function and Schauder's fixed point theorem.  相似文献

The nonlinear dynamical equations of axle symmetry are established by the method of quasi-shells for three-dimensional shallow conical single-layer lattice shells. The compatible equations are given in geometrical nonlinear range. A nonlinear differential equation containing the second and the third order nonlinear items is derived under the boundary conditions of fixed and clamped edges by the method of Galerkin. The problem of bifurcation is discussed by solving the Floquet exponent. In order to study chaotic motion, the equations of free oscillation of a kind of nonlinear dynamics system are solved. Then an exact solution to nonlinear free oscillation of the shallow conical single-layer lattice shell is found as well. The critical conditions of chaotic motion are obtained by solving Melnikov functions, some phase planes are drawn by using digital simulation proving the existence of chaotic motion.  相似文献

In this paper, the displacement solution method of the conical shell is presented.Fromthe differential equations in displacement form of conical shell and by introducing adisplacement function,U(s,θ),the differential equations are changed into an eight-ordersoluble partial differential equation about the displacement function U(s,θ)in which thecoefficients are variable. At the same time, the expressions of the displacement and internalforce components of the shell are also given by the displacement function. As special casesof this paper, the displacement function introduced by V.Z.Vlasov in circular cylindricalshell, the basic equation of the cylindrical shell and that of the circular plate are directlyderived.Under the arbitrary loads and boundary conditions, the general bending problem of theconical shell is reduced to finding the displacement function U(s,θ),and the generalsolution of the governing equation is obtained in generalized hypergeometric function,Forthe axisymmetric bending deformation of the  相似文献

In this paper, under assumption that tempeature is linearly distributed along the thickness of the shell, we deal with problems as indicated in the title and obtain general solutions of them which are expressed in analytic form.In the first part, we investigate free vibration of circular shallow spherical shells with circular holes at the center under usual arbitrary boundary conditions. As an example, we calculate fundamental natural frequency of a circular shallow spherical shell whose edge is fixed (m=0). Results we get are expressed in analytic form and check well with E. Reissner’s [1]. Method for calculating frequency equation is recently suggested by Chien Wei-zang and is to be introduced in appendix 3.In the second part, we investigate forced vibration of shells as indicated in the title under arbitrary harmonic temperature field and arbitrary harmonic dynamic normal load.In the third part, we investigate forced vibration of the above mentioned shells with initial conditions under arbitrary unsteady temperature field and arbitrary normal load.In appendix 1 and 2, we discuss how to express displacement boundary conditions with stress function and boundary conditions in the case m=1.  相似文献

The problem of axisymmetric nonlinear vibration for shallow thin spherical and conical shells when temperature and strain fields are coupled is studied. Based on the large deflection theories of yon Ktirrntin and the theory of thermoelusticity, the whole governing equations and their simplified type are derived. The time-spatial variables are separated by Galerkin ‘ s technique, thus reducing the governing equations to a system of time-dependent nonlinear ordinary differential equation. By means of regular perturbation method and multiple-scales method, the first-order approximate analytical solution for characteristic relation of frequency vs amplitude parameters along with the decay rate of amplitude are obtained, and the effects of different geometric parameters and coupling factors us well us boundary conditions on thermoelustically coupled nonlinear vibration behaviors are discussed.  相似文献

Symmetric laminated plates used usually are anisotropic plates. Based on the fundamental equation for anisotropic rectangular plates in plane stress problem, a general analytical solution is established accurately by method of stress function. Therefore the general formula of stress and displacement in plane is given. The integral constants in general formula can be determined by boundary conditions. This general solution is composed of solutions made by trigonometric function and hyperbolic function, which can satisfy the problem of arbitrary boundary conditions along four edges, and the algebraic polynomial solutions which can satisfy the problem of boundary conditions at four corners. Consequently this general solution can be used to solve the plane stress problem with arbitrary boundary conditions. For example, a symmetric laminated square plate acted with uniform normal load, tangential load and nonuniform normal load on four edges is calculated and analyzed.  相似文献

When dynamic force is applied to a saturated porous soil, drainage is common. In this paper, the saturated porous soil with a two-phase saturated medium is simulated, and Lamb's integral formulas with drainage and stress formulas for a two-phase saturated medium are given based on Biot's equation and Betti's theorem (the reciprocal theorem). According to the basic solution to Biot's equation, Green's function Gij and three terms of Green's function G4i, Gi4, and G44 of a two-phase saturated medium subject to a concentrated force on a spherical coordinate are presented. The displacement field with drainage, the magnitude of drainage, and the pore pressure of the center explosion source are obtained in computation. The results of the classical Sharpe's solutions and the solutions of the two-phase saturated medium that decays to a single-phase medium are compared. Good agreement is observed.  相似文献

The general bending problem of conical shells on the elastic foundation (Winkler Medium) is not solved. In this paper, the displacement solution method for this problem is presented. At the same time, the expressions of the displacement and internal force components of the shell are also given by the displacement function U(s θ). As special cases of this paper, the displacement function introduced by V.S. Vlasov in circular cylindrical shell[5], the basic equation of the cylindrical shell on the elastic foundation and that of the circular plates on the elastic foundation are directly derived.Under the arbitrary loads and boundary conditions, the general bending problem of the conical shell on the elastic foundation is reduced to find the displacement function U(s,θ).The general solution of the eight-order differential equation is obtained in series form. For the symmetric bending deformation of the conical shell on the elastic foundation, which has been widely usedinpractice, the detailed numerical results and boundary influence coefficients for edge loads have been obtained. These results have important meaning in analysis of conical shell combination construction on the elastic foundation, and provide a valuable judgement for the numerical solution accuracy of some of the same type of the existing problem.  相似文献
