We study the dynamics of quantum discord of two-qubit system in a quantum spin environment at finite temperature in the thermodynamics limit. Special attention is paid to the difference between the entanglement and quantum discord when considering the influences of the environment temperature and the initial system states. We show that in the same range of the physical parameters, when the system states behave no entanglement or entanglement sudden death, the quantum discord keeps nonzero. So the quantum discord is more robust than entanglement under this decoherence environment. Furthermore, we also illustrate that we can tune the parameters related to the system and the environment to suppress the decay of quantum discord.  相似文献

We consider the dynamics of a quantum coherence of two chosen spins in systems of dipolar coupled nuclear spins s=1/2 in solid. With the purpose to study this coherence we suggest two different methods. One of them uses the partial trace technique and reduced density matrix. The second method is based on the calculation the intensity of multiple quantum coherences using two-spin operator and the density matrix of the whole spin system. Results of calculations of the multiple-quantum dynamics in spin clusters of various dimensionalities are presented. It is shown that the whole density matrix method is more informative than the method based on the reduced density matrix.  相似文献

The disentanglement of a pair of identical qubits, sharing a dissipative environment, is investigated. We proposed a new non-Markovian analytical method to study the model, which takes into account the counter-rotating term in the qubit-environment interaction. It is shown that when the qubits sufficiently separate from each other, the model is equivalent to each subsystem interacts independently with its local environment. The effects of the dissipative environment and the interqubit distance on the time evolution of the concurrence for four bell states are examined in detail. And point out some new features appearing in the case of the two qubits close together.  相似文献

Quantum correlation dynamics in an anisotropic Heisenberg XY Z model under decoherence is investigated by making use of concurrence C and quantum discord(QD).Firstly,we show that both the concurrence and QD exhibit oscillation with time whereas a remarkable difference between them is presented:there is an entanglement intermittently sudden death phenomenon in the concurrence but not in the QD,which is valid for all the initial states of this system.Also,the interval time of entanglement sudden death is found to be strongly dependent on the initial states,the inhomogeneous magnetic field b and the anisotropic parameter ?.Then,it implies that the steady concurrence and QD can be obtained in the long-time limit,which means that the environmental decoherence cannot entirely destroy the quantum correlation,the variation of the uniform magnetic field B and the anisotropic parameter can change the magnitude of the steady concurrence and QD evidently whereas the parameter b cannot.In addition,based on the analysis of the steady concurrence and QD with t →∞,we give the reason why the magnitude of the steady concurrence and QD is so complicated with the change of the parameters B and △,whereas the parameter b is independent of the steady concurrence and QD.  相似文献

Classical correlation (CC), quantum discord (QD) and entanglement (QE) of two qubits in one-side and two-side decoherence models are investigated. The sudden change of quantum discord (DSC) as well as classical correlation and sudden death of entanglement (ESD) are found. It is proved that QE (QD) presents no sudden change (sudden death). We prove that, for nonzero occupation number of the reservoir, QE must suffer sudden death; For zero occupation number and X-form initial states, we obtain the states which are robust and the states which experience sudden death. It is verified that if DSC and ESD occur under one-side decoherence, then it must appear in the two-side decoherence, while the reverse does not hold. We obtain the boundaries of CC-QE plane and QD-QE plane, and give the state possessing maximal amount of CC (QD) for a given amount of QE.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement dynamics and decoherence of a two-qubit system under a quantum spin environment at finite temperature in the thermodynamics limit. For the case under study, we find different initial states will result in different entanglement evolution, what deserves mentioning here is that the state |Ψ=cosα|01+sinα|10 is most robust than other states when π/2<α<π, since the entanglement remains unchanged or increased under the spin environment. In addition, we also find the anisotropy parameter Δ can suppress the destruction of decoherence induced by the environment, and the undesirable entanglement sudden death arising from the process of entanglement evolution can be efficiently controlled by the inhomogeneous magnetic field ζ.  相似文献

Entanglement dynamics of two non-interacting atoms in a squeezed vacuum reservoir is studied. Several examples with different initial entangled states are investigated, and it is found that entangled atoms become disentangled faster in squeezed vacuum than in ordinary vacuum, and larger squeezing results in faster entanglement decay. The time evolution of the concurrence and the separability "distance" A can be used to explain this novel entanglement sudden death phenomenon.  相似文献

通过精确求解带有偶极-偶极相互作用的两个二能级原子与一个共同热库相互作用模型, 得到了两原子间量子纠缠和量子失谐(quantum discord)的解析表达式. 综合考虑了环境的非马尔可夫效应、原子间的偶极-偶极相互作用以及原子的本征频率同腔模中心频率之间的失谐量对两原子间量子纠缠和quantum discord的影响. 研究显示: 在非马尔可夫机制下, 且原子的本征频率与腔模中心频率是共振时, 当两原子初态处于纠缠态时, 原子间偶极-偶极相互作用可以显著抑制包括量子纠缠和quantum discord等量子关联的衰减, 更特别的是, 如果原子的本征频率同腔模中心频率有一定的失谐时, 利用原子间偶极-偶极相互作用可大大地延长两原子退纠缠的时间; 当两原子初态处于可分离态时, 从短时间来看, 原子间偶极-偶极相互作用可以提高量子纠缠和quantum discord振荡的振幅,而在长时间极限下, 原子间偶极-偶极相互作用不会改变量子纠缠和quantum discord达到的稳定值. 最后, 讨论了原子间偶极-偶极相互作用对量子纠缠和quantum discord动力学不同的影响. 关键词: 量子纠缠 量子失谐 共同环境 偶极-偶极相互作用  相似文献

We analyze the dynamics of entanglement in a two-qubit systeminteracting with an initially squeezed thermal environment via aquantum nondemolition system-reservoir interaction, with the systemand reservoir assumed to be initially separable. We compare andcontrast the decoherence of the two-qubit system in the case wherethe qubits are mutually close-by (`collective regime’) or distant(`localized regime’) with respect to the spatial variation of theenvironment. Sudden death of entanglement (as quantified byconcurrence) is shown to occur in the localized case rather than inthe collective case, where entanglement tends to `ring down’.A consequence of the QND character of the interaction is that thetime-evolved fidelity of a Bell state never falls below \(1/\sqrt{2}\),a fact that is useful for quantum communication applicationslike a quantum repeater. Usinga novel quantification of mixed state entanglement, we show thatthere are noise regimes where even though entanglementvanishes, the state is still available forapplications like NMR quantum computation, because of the presenceof a pseudo-pure component.  相似文献

For a two-state quantum object interacting with a slow mesoscopic interacting spin bath, we show that a many-body solution of the bath dynamics conditioned on the quantum-object state leads to an efficient control scheme to recover the lost quantum-object coherence through disentanglement. We demonstrate the theory with the realistic problem of one electron spin in a bath of many interacting nuclear spins in a semiconductor quantum dot. The spin language can be easily generalized to a quantum object in contact with a bath of interacting multilevel quantum units with the caveat that the bath is mesoscopic and its dynamics is slow compared with the quantum object.  相似文献

By analytically solving the master equation, we examine entanglement dynamics of the two-qubit spin system coupled via the XY interaction and in the presence of population relaxation. We found that the entanglement dynamical behaviors are very sensitive to different initialized states. Particularly, for initial states ?=(|01〉〈01|+|10〉〈10|)/2 and ?=(|00〉〈00|+|11〉〈11|)/2, a combination of the XY coupling with the population relaxation can even be used to enhance the entanglement. Moreover, we show that among different initially separable states, ?=|01〉〈01| and ?=|10〉〈10| are more robust in generating pairwise entanglement.  相似文献

在非旋波近似下, 利用相干态正交化展开方法, 对两量子比特与谐振子相耦合系统中的量子纠缠演化特性进行了精确计算. 讨论了在共振时, 两量子比特和谐振子耦合系统基态的性质以及量子比特和谐振子之间的纠缠与量子比特-量子比特间的纠缠的不同. 结果表明: 当不考虑外场时, 量子比特-量子比特间的纠缠随着耦合强度的增大从1迅速地减小到零, 表明了量子比特-量子比特间的纠缠对耦合强度是非常敏感的; 而量子比特和谐振子之间的纠缠随着耦合强度的增大从零迅速地增大, 但不能达到理论上的最大值2; 当初始时刻两量子比特没有纠缠时, 在弱耦合强度下, 真空场不能导致纠缠的产生; 而强的耦合非旋波效应则可以导致纠缠的突然产生现象. 关键词: 相干态正交化展开 非旋波近似 量子纠缠  相似文献

We investigate the effects of impurity spin dynamics on quantum coherence in mesoscopic metallic rings. Spin relaxation induces temporal current fluctuations which are closely related to persistent currents in such systems. The persistent current is suppressed in the presence of magnetic impurities. We discuss spin-polarisation effects, spin-glass ordering, and the Kondo effect which are shown to restore the current even in the presence of magnetic scattering.  相似文献

Transfer of quantum states through a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ spin model with a nonuniform magnetic field b is investigated by means of quantum theory. The influences of b, the spin exchange coupling J and the effective transfer time T=Jt on the fidelity have been studied for some different initial states. Results show that fidelity of the transferred state is determined not only by J, T and b but also by the initial state of this quantum system. Ideal information transfer can be realized for some kinds of initial states. We also found that the interactions of the z-component Jz and uniform magnetic field B do not have any contribution to the fidelity. These results may be useful for quantum information processing.  相似文献

The quantum coherence and correlation dynamics for a two-qubit system in the Ising spin-chain environment are studied. A sudden change of coherence is found near the critical point, which provides us with an effective way to detect the quantum phase transition. By studying the relationship between quantum discord and coherence, we find that coherence displays the behavior of classical correlation for t t_0, and of quantum discord for t t_0, where t_0 is the time-point of a sudden transition between classical and quantum decoherence.  相似文献

We show that correlation and entanglement dynamics of spin systems can be precisely controlled and engineered using only a small number of external physical control parameters. We first point out that the correlation dynamics of such systems can be understood in terms of spin-wave propagation, giving a simple physical explanation of the behavior seen in a number of recent works. We then extend this picture to more realistic translationally invariant systems prepared in product states. Since spin waves propagate according to a system's dispersion relation which typically depends on external physical parameters, this insight provides a convenient way to understand how dynamics can be controlled. We demonstrate these ideas in a simple example system, showing that correlations can be made to propagate in well-defined packets whose speed can be engineered in advance, controlled during the evolution, or even stopped altogether.  相似文献

利用Quantum Discord(QD)判据,研究了与热库相互作用的二比特体系的量子关联性质.讨论了在不同初态下体系量子关联随时间的变化,以及热库的平均光子数m,n和原子的自发辐射率γ对体系量子关联性质的影响.结果表明,在不同的初态下,体系可以得到不同性质的量子关联;而且当原子自发辐射率γ取固定值时,QD的衰减会随m,n取值的减小而减慢,热库平均光子数都为零的情况下能够得到最大范围的量子关联;此外,当热库平均光子数m,n取确定值时,随着γ取值的减小,QD的衰减也会随之减慢,此时同样会得到较大范围的量子关联.说明较小的热库平均光子数以及原子自发辐射率γ能够减弱QD的衰减,从而获得生命力较强的体系量子关联.  相似文献
