Electric coalescence in alternating current (AC) electric fields is an important electrical dehydration technology. The deformation and breakup of water drops are crucial to the application of this process. In this study, these procedures were examined experimentally in an AC electric field using a high-speed camera. The deformation and breakup of drops depend on the intensity and frequency of this field. Deformation is aggravated by the increase in frequency under a constant electric field strength. Furthermore, the electric strength of breakup weakens as the frequency increases. Thus, understanding the deformation process can help advance electrocoalescencer design.  相似文献

Electrically driven coalescence is one of the important methods to separate water from crude oils. In this paper, the coalescence behaviour of two water drops was studied experimentally using a high-speed imaging. The results show that the electric force induces the drops migrating towards each other before their contact. However the electric force drags the drops to separate after contact. There is a critical electric field strength above which the two drops would be separated again after they have been coalesced together. The understanding of the electric coalescence could be helpful to advance the design of the electrocoalescencers.  相似文献

Flame is affected by an external electric field because it contains ions and electrons related to chemical reactions. On the other hand, the movement of ions and electrons affects the external electric field due to their charge. This paper reports the combustion experiments of ethanol droplets in vertical electric field with variable distance electrodes apparatus in order to discuss the change of the external electric field due to the existence of flame. From a one-dimensional steady-state analysis, if the electric field is changed spatially, its effect on combustion behavior is aligned with V2/L3 and not V/L, where V is the applied voltage between electrodes, and L is distance between the electrodes. The droplet is burned between the two horizontal parallel electrodes. The flame deformation and the electric current are characterized by various electrode distances, and respectively, applied voltages. The vertical electric field induces a body force downwards on the flame. The flame deforms downward in the electric field because the electric body force counters the natural buoyancy. The relation between the applied voltage and electrode distance is investigated when the flame becomes vertically symmetrical and the results show that the deformation is the function of V/L1.5. This indicates that the change in the electric field should be considered to discuss the effect of an external electric field on combustion behavior. The experimental results are rearranged using εV2/L3 where ε is electric permittivity of air because its unit is N/m3 and it considered to be the representative electric body force. Although its application is limited, qualitatively it can help to explain the experimental results of a droplet combustion. In addition, the degree of electron attachment to neutral molecules is discussed to interpret our experimental results.  相似文献

对PZT 95/5陶瓷在直流电场、脉冲方波电场以及半正弦波电场作用下的失效机理进行了理论和实验分析.结果表明:在直流作用下,其失效机理以热-电耦合失效为主;而在脉冲电场作用下,考虑振动冲击效应以及相关的力谱分布,脉宽越短,能量向高频偏移,越可能发生力-电耦合失效;当脉宽增加,PZT 95/5陶瓷失效机理将从力-电耦合失效逐步转变成直流失效模式. 关键词: PZT 95/5 失效机理 直流电场 脉冲电场  相似文献

纳米颗粒在液体环境中的定向控制与系统物理性能的调控及新型纳米器件的制备等应用领域密切相关.本文使用分子动力学模拟方法,研究了水中单片不带电矩形石墨烯在直流电场下的定向行为.结果发现石墨烯平面趋向平行于电场方向且随着电场强度增大定向性增强,其主要原因在于极性水分子在电场下的响应以及水合作用;减小石墨烯长宽比,石墨烯法向矢量和长边矢量的定向性减弱,定量结果表明法向和长边定向度分别与绕长边和法向的转动扩散系数存在负相关关系.  相似文献

通过Fokker-Planck模拟,研究了等离子体在任意强度的直流电场中产生电流的过程以及电子分布函数的演变过程.研究发现,不同强度的电场中等离子体的行为存在着明显的差别.在弱电场中,电流与电场满足Spitzer公式,且电流产生的响应时间约等于撤销电场后电流衰减的弛豫时间;在中等强度的电场中,电子分布函数呈现为静止Maxwell分布和漂移Maxwell分布之和,而且在中等强度或者强直流电场中弛豫时间也将远远大于响应时间.根据电子分布函数的演变规律,推导了一组类似于流体力学方程的公式,这组方程像Spitzer公式一样简便地描述了等离子体中电流与电场的关系,并且对电场强度没有限制.数值模拟显示这组方程比Spitzer公式更适用于等离子体的混合粒子模拟中. 关键词: 等离子体电流 电子分布函数 Fokker-Planck模拟 Spitzer公式  相似文献

The deformations of a real dielectric droplet subjected to a uniform alternating electric field and immersed in an insulating fluid are numerically studied by the Boundary Element Method. The alternating electric field time scale is taken much smaller than the hydrodynamic time scale of the droplet shape deformation. The influence of the frequency and the conductivity of the droplet upon the critical electric field, beyond which instabilities develop, are compared with the experimental measurements. Numerical results well account for experimental data while an unexpected good correspondence with Taylor's theory is found.  相似文献

This paper uses the perturbation method to study effective response of nonlinear cylindrical coated composites. Under the external AC and DC electric field Ea(1 + sinωt), the local potentials of composites at all harmonic frequencies are induced. Paper is presented the results of computer simulation. Effect of the homogeneous dc electric field influence on the propagation of zero and first order Lamb and SH waves in piezoelectric langasite single crystal plates for a lot of cuts and directions have been calculated. Crystalline directions and cuts with maximal and minimal influence of dc electric field have indicated. Effect of hybridization of plate modes has been discussed.  相似文献

Phase field method based on Cahn–Hilliard free energy formulation is adopted for predicting the behavior of double emulsion droplet suspended in a continuous phase under the influence of a uniform electric field. The role played by the inner droplet on the electric-field-driven fluid flow, and also on deformation of the outer droplet is predicted by present numerical simulation. Three different kind of deformation type of outer and inner droplet (prolate–oblate, prolate–prolate and oblate–prolate) has been observed. With increase in the volume fraction of inner drop, transition in the deformation of outer drop from prolate to oblate occurs at lower value of fluid permittivity ratio.  相似文献

In the present work,we adopt the ccsd/6-31g(d) method to optimize the ground state structure and calculate the vibrational frequency of the Si2N molecule.The calculated frequencies accord satisfactorily with the experimental values,which helps confirm the ground state structure of the molecule.In order to find how the external electric field affects the Si2N molecule,we use the density functional method B3P86/6-31g(d) to optimize the ground state structure and the time-dependent density functional theory TDDFT/6-31g(d) to study the absorption spectra,the excitation energies,the oscillator strengths,and the dipole moments of the Si2N molecule under different external electric fields.It is found that the absorption spectra,the excitation energies,the oscillator strengths,and the dipole moments of the Si2N molecule are affected by the external electric field.One of the valuable results is that the absorption spectra of the yellow and the blue-violet light of the Si2N molecule each have a red shift under the electric field.The luminescence mechanism in the visible light region of the Si2N molecule is also investigated and compared with the experimental data.  相似文献

By using the perturbation method, effective nonlinear direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) responses of nonlinear composites with spherical coated inclusions randomly embedded in a host medium are studied under the action of external electric field Ea =E0 +E1 sin ωt+E3 sin 3ωt with different amplitudes and frequencies. The local potentials of composites at all harmonics are given in the inclusion particles and the host regions. All effective nonlinear responses to composites and the relationship between the effective nonlinear responses at all harmonics are also deduced for the spherical coated inclusions in a dilute limit.  相似文献

对S原子采用6-311++G**基组,Sn原子采用SDB-cc-pVTZ基组,利用密度泛函(B3P86)方法对SnS分子进行了基态结构优化,并研究了外场作用下SnS基态分子键长、能量、能级分布、电荷布居分布、谐振频率和红外谱强度的影响规律.然后利用含时密度泛函(TD-B3P86)方法研究了SnS分子在外场下的激发特性.结果表明,在所加的电场范围内(-0.04 a.u.-0.04 a.u.),随着正向电场的增大,分子键长和红外谱强度均是先减小后增大;总能E,SnS基态分子的最高已占据轨道能量EH和谐振频率均是先增大后减小;分子的最低未占空轨道能量EL和能隙Eg均随正向电场的增大而减小.随着正向电场的增大,SnS分子由基态至前9个单重激发态跃迁的波长增大,激发能则减小.  相似文献

液膜马达作为一种新颖的实验装置在基础研究和技术应用方面都将会发挥着重要的作用, 深入研究各种条件下液膜马达的电致流动特征是非常有意义的. 本文从理论上研究了均匀恒定外电场中的液膜马达在方波电泳电场驱动下的动力学特征, 解析地给出了液膜转动的线速度随时空变化的规律. 理论结果表明, 液膜会随着电泳电场频率的增大由对称性往复转动逐渐转变为振动, 这不仅有助于从理论上认识液膜马达振动的物理根源, 也为在实际应用中设计液膜搅拌机提供了一种新思路.  相似文献

 在均匀液滴O2(1Δ)发生器的研制过程中,发生器中液流受到外界扰动后,扰动沿着液流表面呈指数增长,最终导致液流破段成液滴。在液滴的形成过程中,各种参数的改变都将对液流的状态产生影响,最终影响O2(1Δ)发生器的总体性能。分别从理论和实验两部分对液滴的形成过程进行了对比分析:理论部分论述了液滴形成的理论依据及在发生器中,外界扰动频率、液流喷射流速的改变对扰动增长率的影响及影响趋势;实验部分以成像的方式着重分析了在相同条件下,分别改变扰动频率、液流喷射流速,液滴流的状态及趋势。实验结合理论,寻求可控参数范围,为均匀液滴发生器的液流研究提供依据。  相似文献

以液体为工作介质, 利用空化泡的RP控制方程, 模拟分析了无量纲化的电场频率、场强的幅值以及无量纲化的声波频率、 声压幅值的变化对空化泡运动特性的影响. 结果表明: 声场和电场联合作用时, 空化泡运动处于混沌区域范围远高于两者单独作用下空化泡的混沌区域范围. 这不仅对声空化的进一步研究具有重要的理论意义, 而且对于提高和改进空化降解有机污染物的技术也具有指导意义.  相似文献
