Electrical properties and 1H-NMR absorption line have been measured, in order to investigate proton dynamics in a superionic phase in Tl3H(SO4)2. From the measurement of the thermoelectric power, it is found that a majority carrier in electrical conductivity is a proton. Moreover, from 1H-NMR measurement it is also found that the activation energy 0.33 eV of the hopping motion of protons is close to 0.38 eV as observed in the electrical conductivity measurement. These results indicate that the electrical conductivity in the superionic phase is caused by the hopping motion of protons accompanied by the breaking of the hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The 1H and 87Rb spin-lattice relaxation and spin-spin relaxation times in superionic Rb3H(SeO4)2 single crystals grown by the slow evaporation method were measured over the temperature range 160-450 K. The temperature dependencies of the 1H T1, T1ρ, and T2 are measured. In the ferroelastic phase, T1 differs from T1ρ, which is in turn different from T2, although these three relaxation times converge to similar values near 410 K. This transition seems to occur at temperature which is about 40 K lower than the superionic transition temperature. The observation of liquid-like values of the 1H T1, T1ρ, and T2 in the high temperature is compatible with the phase being superionic, indicating that the destruction and reconstruction of hydrogen bonds does indeed occur at high temperature. In addition, the 87Rb T1 and T2 values at high temperature were similar (on the order of milliseconds), a trend that was also observed for 1H T1 and T2. This behavior is expected for most hopping-type ionic conductors, and could be attributed to interactions between the mobile ions and the neighboring group ions within the crystal. The motion giving rise to this liquid-like behavior is related to the superionic motion.  相似文献

EPR spectra of VO2+ ions doped in single crystals of Cs2Co(SO4)2.6H2O single crystals have been studied at various temperatures (390–103 K) on X-band frequency. The detailed EPR analysis shows three vanadyl complexes with differing intensities. The g and A tensors are found to be axially symmetric. The intense vanadyl complexes in the lattice are found to occupy the Co2+ substitutional sites, whereas the weak vanadyl complex at the interstitial sites. The optical absorption spectrum at room temperature shows three absorption bands characteristic of VO2+ ions in tetragonal symmetry. By correlating the EPR and optical data, the molecular bonding coefficients and the Fermi contact interaction terms have been evaluated and discussed. The line broadening of VO2+ spectra on cooling the crystal is explained on the basis of spin-lattice relaxation narrowing. The spin-lattice relaxation time for the host Co2+ ions has been estimated at various temperatures.  相似文献

A cobalt phosphonate (H3O)6·[Co4(H2O)4(HPMIDA)2(PMIDA)2)]·2H2O, 1, has been synthesized from a mild solvothermal reaction of Co(II) ion with N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid (H4PMIDA). Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group with cell parameters of , , , α=93.06(3)°, β=99.66(3)°, γ=90.34(3)° and Z=1. Compound 1 shows a novel tetra-nuclear molecular structure. In the crystal lattice, molecules of 1 hydrogen bond to each other to form two-dimensional (2D) layers, which are further linked together by the co-crystallized H2O molecules and H3O+ counter ions through hydrogen bonding to form the 3D supramolecular network. Thermogravimetric analysis, IR spectrum, magnetic susceptibility and luminescent spectra are given.  相似文献

A new hybrid organic-inorganic three-dimensional compound, [Co4(OH)2(H2O)2](C4H11N2)2[C6H2(CO2)4]2·3H2O 1, has been synthesized via hydrothermal reactions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and magnetic techniques. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n (no. 14) with a=6.3029(9) Å, b=16.413(2) Å, c=17.139(2) Å, β=98.630(2)°, V=1735.0(4) Å3, Z=2. Compound 1 contains tetranuclear Co4(μ3-OH)2(H2O)2 clusters that are inter-linked by pyromellitate bridging ligands into a three-dimensional structure containing one-dimensional tunnels along the a-axis with water and pendant monoprotonated piperazine molecules in the center. The variable temperature magnetic susceptibility was measured from 2 to 300 K at 5000 Oe showing a predominantly anti-ferromagnetic interaction in 1, and the field dependence of magnetization was measured at 2, 5, 15, and 20 K indicating the competition of magnetic interactions in the tetranuclear centers.  相似文献

The physical properties and phase transition mechanisms of MCr(SO4)2·12H2O (M=Rb and Cs) single crystals have been investigated. The phase transition temperatures, NMR spectra, and the spin-lattice relaxation times T1 of the 87Rb and 133Cs nuclei in the two crystals were determined using DSC and FT NMR spectroscopy. The resonance lines and relaxation times of the 87Rb and 133Cs nuclei undergo significant changes at the phase transition temperatures. The sudden changes in the splitting of the Rb and Cs resonance lines are attributed to changes in the local symmetry of their sites, and the changes in the temperature dependences of T1 are related to variations in the symmetry of the octahedra of water molecules surrounding Rb+ and Cs+. We also compared these 87Rb and 133Cs NMR results with those obtained for the trivalent cations Cr and Al in MCr(SO4)2·12H2O and MAl(SO4)2·12H2O crystals.  相似文献

[H3O][Ce(SO4)2] · H2O crystallizes in the monoclinic system with unit-cell dimensions (from single-crystal data) a = 9.359(4), b = 9.926(4), c = 8.444(3) Å, β = 96.53(9)° and space group P21/n, z = 4. The structure was solved by conventional heavy-atom methods using 1787 counter-measured reflections (MoKα radiation), and refined using full-matrix least-squares techniques to an R of 0.0465 (ωR = 0.0413). The structure consists of cerium(III) ions in irregular nine-coordination to oxygen atoms from two bidentate sulfate ions, four monodentate sulfate oxygen atoms, and one water molecule. The oxonium ions are present as isolated ions in the structure and take par in the hydrogen bonding network. The Ce-O bond lengths range from 2.454(7) to 2.626(6) Å.  相似文献

The thermal decomposition of syngenite, K2Ca(SO4)2·H2O, formed during the treatment of liquid manure has been studied by thermal gravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, high temperature X-ray diffraction (XRD) and infrared emission spectroscopy (IES). Gypsum was found as a minor impurity resulting in a minor weight loss due to dehydration around 100 °C. The main endothermic dehydration and decomposition stage of syngenite to crystalline K2Ca2(SO4)3 and amorphous K2SO4 is observed around 200 °C. The reaction involves a solid-state re-crystallisation, while water and the K2SO4 diffuse out of the existing lattice. The additional weight loss steps around 250 and 350 °C are probably due to presence of larger syngenite particles, which exhibit slower decomposition due to the slower diffusion of water and K2SO4 out of the crystal lattice. A minor endothermic sulphate loss around 450 °C is not due to the decomposition of syngenite or its products or of the gypsum impurity. The origin of this sulphate is not clear.  相似文献

Syntheses, crystal structures and thermal behavior of two polymorphic forms of Ce(SO4)2·4H2O are reported. The first modification, α-Ce(SO4)2·4H2O (I), crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Fddd, with a=5.6587(1), b=12.0469(2), c=26.7201(3) Å and Z=8. The second modification, β-Ce(SO4)2·4H2O (II), crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, with a=14.6019(2), b=11.0546(2), c=5.6340(1) Å and Z=4. In both structures, the cerium atoms have eight ligands: four water molecules and four sulfate groups. The mutual position of the ligands differs in (I) and (II), resulting in geometrical isomerism. Both these structures are built up by layers of Ce(H2O)4(SO4)2 held together by a hydrogen bonding network. The dehydration of Ce(SO4)2·4H2O is a two step (I) and one step (II) process, respectively, forming Ce(SO4)2 in both cases. During the decomposition of the anhydrous form, Ce(SO4)2, into the final product CeO2, intermediate xCeO2·yCe(SO4)2 species are formed.  相似文献

Tren amine cations [(C2H4NH3)3N]3+ and zirconate or tantalate anions adopt a ternary symmetry in two hydrates, [H3tren]2·(ZrF7)2·9H2O and [H3tren]6·(ZrF7)2·(TaOF6)4·3H2O, which crystallise in R32 space group with aH = 8.871 (2) Å, cH = 38.16 (1) Å and aH = 8.758 (2) Å, cH = 30.112 (9) Å, respectively. Similar [H3tren]2·(MX7)2·H2O (M = Zr, Ta; X = F, O) sheets are found in both structures; they are separated by a water layer (Ow(2)-Ow(3)) in [H3tren]2·(ZrF7)2·9H2O. Dehydration of [H3tren]2·(ZrF7)2·9H2O starts at room temperature and ends at 90 °C to give [H3tren]2·(ZrF7)2·H2O. [H3tren]2·(ZrF7)2·H2O layers remain probably unchanged during this dehydration and the existence of one intermediate [H3tren]2·(ZrF7)2·3H2O hydrate is assumed. Ow(1) molecules are tightly hydrogen bonded with -NH3+ groups and decomposition of [H3tren]2·(ZrF7)2·H2O occurs from 210 °C to 500 °C to give successively [H3tren]2·(ZrF6)·(Zr2F12) (285 °C), an intermediate unknown phase (320 °C) and ZrF4.  相似文献

The first organically templated layered structure of scandium sulfate, (H2en)Sc2(SO4)4·(H2O)0.72, (en=ethylenediamine) was synthesized by a hydrothermal method and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. In the title compound, scandium ions are bridged by sulfate groups with a ratio of 1:2 into a 436 layer structure. These layers are parallel packed and separated from each other by ethylenediammonium dications and water molecules. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/c, with cell parameters , , , β=91.210(3)°, and Z=2. Refinement gave R1[I>2σ(I)]=0.0354 and wR2[I>2σ(I)]=0.0878. Thermogravimetric analysis indicates that this material is thermally stable to above 400 °C.  相似文献

A new vanadium(III) phosphite, (C4H8N2H4)0.5(C4H8N2H3)[V4(HPO3)7(H2O)3]1.5H2O, has been synthesized hydrothermally by using V2O5, H3PO3 as reactants, piperazine as the structure-directing agent. The as-synthesized product was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and SQUID magnetometer. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the title compound crystallized in the trigonal space group (No. 165) with the parameters: , , and Z=4. Its structure is built up by alternation of octahedral VO6 or VO5(H2O) and pseudo-pyramidal HPO3 units to form infinite 2D layers, and these layers are interconnected by sharing vertex-oxygen with octahedral VO6 units to generate a 3D open-framework structure with 12-membered ring channels in a and b directions, respectively, where there exist entrapped diprotonated and mono-protonated piperazine cations, and water molecules. Magnetic measurement indicates that paramagnetic behavior is observed down to 4 K.  相似文献

Crystals of CsH(SO4)0.76(SeO4)0.24 formulation were studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The 1H line-shape, the T1 and T2 relaxation times were determined as a function of temperature. The activation energies deduced from the temperature dependence of relaxation times were compared with the activation energy issued from conductivity measurements. The results obtained are discussed and supported by the Ngai model.  相似文献

The magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) for the three low-energy absorption bands of the Eu(C2H5SO4)3·9H2O crystal has been measured at room temperature. It may be well understood from the MCD as well as from other experimental results that two of these bands, 7F15D0 and 7F05D1, are of magnetic dipole origin. However, the MCD of another band at about 18650 cm?1, 7F15D1, cannot be interpreted as being only one electric dipole in origin, which has been pointed out by several investigations. The present MCD analysis indicates that although this broad band consists of one electric- and two magnetic-dipole transitions, each of which has a sizeable absorption strength, the MCD spectrum originates exclusively from the two magnetic dipole transitions  相似文献

The subsolidus area of Cs2MoO4-Al2(MoO4)3-Zr(MoO4)2 system was studied by X-ray powder diffraction. Two new molybdates with component molar ratios of 1: 1: 1 (S1) and 5:1:2 (S2) were synthesized for the first time. The crystallographic parameters of the 5:1:2 compound were determined. Solution- melt crystallization and spontaneous nucleation yielded crystals of new 1:1:1 cesium aluminum zirconium molybdate Cs(AlZr0.5)(MoO4)3. Its formula unit and crystal structure were refined by X-ray diffraction (1592 reflections, R=0.0249). Trigonal crystals: a=12.9441(2) ?, c=12.0457(4) ?, V=1747.86(7) ?3, Z = 6, space group R $ \bar 3 $ \bar 3 . The three-dimensional combined framework of this structure is formed by MoO4 tetrahedrons linked through common vertices to (Al,Zr)O6 octahedrons. Cesium atoms occupy large cavities of the framework. Crystallographic position M(1) is occupied by randomly distributed Al3+ and Zr4+ cations.  相似文献

A new coordination compound [Ni(CHZ)3]SO4·3H2O (CHZ=carbohydrazide) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra, and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystal belonged to the triclinic system, space group with a=0.85237(1) nm, b=0.90964(1) nm, c=1.22559(2) nm, β=96.731(2)°, V=0.8849(2) nm3, Z=2, Dc=1.798 g·cm−3. In the asymmetric unit, three carbohydrazide (CHZ) bidentate ligands were coordinated with a Ni(II) cation by carbonyl O atoms and terminal N atoms of the hydrazine groups to form three planar chelate rings which were vertical to one another. Ni(II) cations, CHZ ligand molecules, sulfate anions, and lattice water molecules were jointed to a complicated three-dimensional network structure through coordination bonds, electrostatic forces and extensive hydrogen bonds. Natural bond orbital (NBO) atomic charges of CHZ were obtained from the density functional theory (DFT) method at the B3LYP/6-311+G** level to interpret the reason why the coordination sites in carbohydrazide molecule were the oxygen atom of the carbonyl group and terminal N atoms of the hydrazine group. The thermal decomposition mechanism was tested through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analyses, and Fourier transform infrared spectra. The kinetic parameters of the two exothermic processes of the title compound were studied applying the Kissinger's and Ozawa-Doyle's methods. The results indicated that the title complex possessed high energy and good thermal stability.  相似文献

A Ni(II)-based dimer structure, Ni2(dpa)2(pyz)(H2O)4 (dpa = 2,6-pyridine dicarboxylic acid dianion, pyz: pyrazine), has been prepared using hydrothermal synthesis and the solid-state magnetic properties have been evaluated. In the dimeric structure, the planar tridentate 2,6-pyridine dicarboxylic acid dianion coordinates to a Ni(II) ion in a meridional fashion and defines the equatorial plane of the complex. The fourth equatorial coordination site is then occupied by a pyrazine molecule that functions as a linear bidentate ligand bridging two Ni(II) complexes to form a dimer. The axial positions of each Ni(II) complex are occupied by two water molecules to form a distorted octahedral geometry. Susceptibility and magnetization measurements show that both intra-dimer and inter-dimer exchange interactions are weakly antiferromagnetic. The fitting of the magnetic data also indicates the existence of a large axial zero-field splitting term that contributes to the small magnetization even under high fields.  相似文献

The first organically templated neodymium sulfate has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. [C2N2H10]1.5[Nd(SO4)3(H2O)]·2H2O crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with crystal data , , , β=104.399(5)°, , Z=4. Refinement gave R1[I>2σ(I)]=0.0471, and wR2[I>2σ(I)]=0.0899. The compound exhibits an infinite zigzag anionic layer structure, which consists of {Nd(SO4)3(H2O)}3− structural units connected together to form interesting eight-membered rings via corner-sharing and edge-sharing modes. The compound has the antiferromagnetic behavior and exhibits intense photoluminescence upon photo-excitation at 450 nm.  相似文献
