The effect of cationic surfactants (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, cetylpyridinium bromide, and tetrabutylammonium perchlorate) and a nonionic surfactant (OP-7) on the conditions of the immobilization of 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol (PAR) on three types of silica gel (Silochrom S-120 (200–350 m), Silochrom S-120 (315–500 m), and Silochrom S-80 (200–350 m)) was studied. It was found that OP-7 does not affect the adsorption of surfactants. The effect of cationic surfactants increases in the order tetrabutylammonium perchlorate < cetyltrimethylammonium bromide < cetylpyridinium bromide. The adsorption activity of silica gels increases in the order Silochrom S-120 (315–500 m) < Silochrom S-80 (200–350 m) < Silochrom S-120 (200–350 m). Cetylpyridinium bromide provides full immobilization of PAR on silica gel Silochrom S-120 (200–350 m) in the pH range 2–9.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Eine acidimetrische automatisierte Titration von 0,5–10g Kohlenstoff als Kohlendioxid wird vorgeschlagen. Das Kohlendioxid wird in einem Trägergasstrom durch 80 ml einer auf 0° C gekühlten wäßrigen Lösung geleitet, die das Enzym Carboanhydrase und einen sehr verdünnten Veronalpuffer (pH etwa 8) enthält. Das Kohlendioxid wird mit 0,01–n Natronlauge titriert bis zum pH-Sollwert. Durch Beseitigungen mancher Störungsquellen war das Rauschen beschränkt auf 0,4 V. Die Standardabweichung war durchschnittlich geringer als 1% bei einem Blindwert von 0,00g C. Die Dauer der Bestimmung beträgt 6 min.

Summary An automated acidimétric titration of 0.5–10g of carbon as carbon dioxide is proposed. The carbon dioxide is swept in a stream of carrier gas through about 80 ml of a solution of the enzyme carbo anhydrase and a very diluted veronal buffer (pH about 8). This solution is cooled to 0° C. The set point titration is carried out using 0.01 N sodium hydroxide. The noise in the signal could be kept below 0.4V. The standard deviation usually was below 1%; the blank was 0.00g C. A determination takes 6 min.

The characteristics of knitted open tube (KOT) figure eight reactors and coil reactors at l/min flow rates were compared using plate height (H) calculations and peak height measurements. Peak broadening independent of flow rate was seen for the figure eight KOT but not the coil at flow rates of 150–300 l/min. Below 150 /min, the plate height values of both reactors were inversely proportional to flow rate. It was concluded that a 0.5-m KOT figure eight reactor is the most effective way to introduce delay time for a 1 1 injection size and tubing of 0.3 mm I.D. Enhancement of peak height response was particularly pronounced at flow rates less than 100 l/min.  相似文献

Working conditions were found for the flow-injection determination with spectrophotometric detection (510 nm) of the toxic aromatic amines p-aminophenol (I) and o-phenylenediamine (II) as 4,6-dinitrobenzofuroxan derivatives in mixtures on the basis of Paracetamol and Dibazol medicines. The optimal results were obtained with the use of flows of an ethanol (methanol)–buffer solution at pH 6.68. The analytical range of the toxicants is 0.03–0.98 g/mL. The detection limit is 0.025 g/mL for I and 0.01 g/mL for II. Compounds I and IIwere determined in medicinal forms (pellets, syrup, and suppositories) and in reaction mixtures in the synthesis of Paracetamol and Dibazol.  相似文献

Summary Sulphate in the range of 5–2000 mol · l–1 is automatically titrated with Ba(II) in a device with an optical detection which is able to correct automatically for dilution and turbidities. The flow-through system contains 80% v/v ethanol; the indicator is dimethyl sulfonazo(III). Above a concentration level of about 20 mol · l–1 SO 4 2– the standard deviation is less than 5% rel. The titration time is negligibly small as compared to the sampling time.

Complexation in the Eu(III)–methacycline and Eu(III)–methacycline–hydrogen peroxide systems was studied by luminescence. It was proposed to use the studied complexes as analytical forms for the luminescence determination of methacycline in blood plasma (lower determination limit 2.5 g/mL) and urine (25 g/mL) and for the indirect determination of 0.025–0.7 mM glucose in blood plasma.  相似文献

Chronic lead (Pb) intoxication has been linked to Alzheimer's disease (AD). Lead, like many heavy elements, tends to accumulate in bone. PIXE is a powerful analytical tool which permits the determination of Pb at the g/g level without requiring sample digestion. GFAAS is one of the most sensitive methods for the determination of Pb and is capable of determining ng/g levels in solution. For bone analyses by GFAAS, sample dissolution and a matrix modifier are required. Rib bone samples were analyzed for Pb by PIXE and GFAAS. IAEA Animal Bone (H-5) was used as a secondary standard for Pb with both methods to ensure accuracy. The range of Pb concentrations in human rib bone was 1.4–11.5 g/g for the trabecular surface by PIXE, 1.3–45 g/g for the cortical surface by PIXE, and 1.54–11.75 g/g for whole bone by GFAAS. No significant difference (p>0.05) was found for AD versus control for either surface or for whole bone.  相似文献

A method for the determination of the specific radioactivity of free amino-acids in tissue extracts of mammals
Some experiences are given with a measuring device for the determination of the specific radioactivity of 14C-labelled brain amino-acids. The apparatus consists of an automatic amino-acid analyzer combined with a flow cell filled with anthracene. The reproducibility of the method is ±5% to ±1% m.e. in the range of 1×10–3 Ci to 5×10–2 Ci. A quantitative determination of 3×10–4 Ci/ml eluant is still possible.

A method has been developed for photometric detection of cyclodextrins (CD) in liquid chromatography using iodine (I2) generated electrochemically in-situ. Iodide ion in the mobile phase was electrochemically oxidized to I2 which was subsequently reacted with I, in an electrochemical flow cell, forming I3. The absorbance of I3 was found to be greatly enhanced when CD were present in the mobile phase. The absorbance enhancement was caused by the change in the mole fraction of I3, because of the inclusion reaction of I3 with CD. On the basis of this phenomenon, CD were detected by means of a photodiode-array UV–visible detector positioned downstream of the electrochemical flow cell. The signals were found to be linearly dependent on CD concentration. Because the formation constants of I3 with CD decrease in the order -CD>-CD>-CD, -CD was most detectable by the method. Detection limits were 1.0 mol L–1 for -CD, 65 mol L–1 for monoG1--CD, 100 mol L–1 for -CD, and 200 mol L–1 for -CD.  相似文献

Antimony(III) and antimony(V) species have been selectively determined in liver tissues by optimizing the acidic conditions for the evolution of stibine using the reduction with sodium borohydride. The results show that a response for Sb(III) of 0.5 to 20 g l–1 was selectively obtained from samples in a 1 mol l–1 acetic acid medium. The best response for total antimony from 1 to 20 g l–1 is obtained after sample treatment with a 0.5 mol l–1 sulfuric acid and 10% w/v potassium iodide. Microwave digestion has been necessary to release quantitatively antimony species from sample slurries. The amount of Sb(V) was calculated from the difference between the value for total antimony and Sb(III) concentrations. A relative standard deviation from 2.9 to 3.1% and a detection limit of 0.15 and 0.10 g l–1 for Sb(III) and total Sb has been obtained. The average accuracy exceeded 95% in all cases comparing the results obtained from recovery studies, electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry and the analysis of certified reference materials.Dedicated to Professor Dr. Peter Brätter on the occasion of his 60th birthday  相似文献

Sb doped sol-gel SnO2 single layers (thickness 100 nm) were prepared from alcoholic solution and deposited via a dip coating process on fused silica substrates. The coatings have been sintered at a typical rate of 10–15 cm2/s by CO2 laser irradiation. The laser spot was scanned in one direction at a speed of 15,000 cm/s and the sample was moved in a perpendicular one at a speed up to 250 mm/s. The temperature of the topmost 10 m layer was monitored by a fast pyrometer (s resolution). The following properties of the coatings have been determined: the electrical resistivity , the carrier density n, and mobility , the structure, the thickness, the mesoscopic and micromorphology and the density. The sintering by CO2 laser radiation is mainly a thermal driven process. At T 500°C it allows to obtain coatings with a smaller resistivity (6.8×10–3 cm) than those produced by conventional furnace firing (el2.9×10–2 cm). The results are discussed in terms of particle size and packing density.  相似文献

Instrumental neutron activation analysis was used to measure the concentrations of 24 elements in four honey brands commercially available in Austin, Texas (USA). The measured elements (and concentration) were: As, (<30 ng/g); Ba, (<2 g/g); Br, (0.24–0.49 g/g); Ce, (<20 ng/g); Co, (9–180 ng/g); Cr, (37–64 ng/g); Cs, (<3–45 ng/g); Fe, (<4–15.9 g/g); Hf, (<3 ng/g); Hg, (1 ng/g); K, (91–230 g/g); La, (<4 ng/g); Na, (20.3–25.3 g/g); Ni, (0.39–0.77 g/g); Rb, (68–340 ng/g); Sb, (13–61 ng/g); Sc, (<0.3–200 ng/g); Se, (<20 ng/g); Sm, (<9 ng/g); Sr, (<2 ng/g); Th, (<4 ng/g); U, (<30 ng/g); Zn, (3.36–4.61 g/g); and Zr, (<0.5–0.84 g/g). The results obtained were compared to the concentration of the same elements in honey produced or commercially available in Turkey, Mexico, El-Salvador, China, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia.  相似文献

New homopolynuclear nickel(II) xanthate complexes with nitrogen donor heterocycles as bridging ligands have been prepared, namely [Ni(Rxa)2(-L)]n and [Ni2(Rxa)4(-L1)], where R=i-Pr,i-Am; xa=OCS2– L=1,2-bis(4- pyridyl)ethane (bpe), 4,4-dithiodipyridyl (dtp), 1,2-bis(4- pyridyl)ethylene (dpe), 4,4-trimethylene-dipyridine (tmd); L1=2,3-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine (bpp), 2,4-bis(5,6- diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine-3-yl)pyridine (bdt), or 2,4,6-tris(2- pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine (tpt). The compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, i.r. and electronic spectroscopies, magnetochemical and conductivity measurements. The results show that the [Ni(Rxa)2(-L)]n complexes are linear polymers in which the nitrogen heterocycles bridge between the nickel(II) ions, which are coordinated by four sulfur and two nitrogen atoms and have trans-octahedral geometry. The nearly constant values of the effective magnetic moment (3.36–3.34 eff/B) over the 77–295 K temperature range indicate that exchange interactions are lacking among the paramagnetic centres in the linear structure, [Ni(i-Amxa)2(dpe)]n. The variable- temperature magnetic susceptibilities of the [Ni2(i-Prxa)4(bpp)] (3.00–2.95eff/B per Ni atom), [Ni2(i-Prxa)4(bdt)] (2.72–2.63 eff/B per Ni atom), and [Ni2(i-Amxa)4(tpt)] (2.76–1.87 eff/B per Ni atom) were measured down to liquid nitrogen temperature. In the case of binuclear nickel(II) complexes with bdt or tpt, antiferromagnetic coupling between the nickel(II) ions was detected, giving the exchange integral J=–4.0cm–1 and –29.6cm–1, respectively.  相似文献

Summary A simple, specific, and sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography method has been developed for simultaneous determination of the lomefloxacin, febufen, and felbinac in human plasma. Plasma-spiked with internal standard, was vortex-mixed for 1 min with a mixture of dichloromethane-diethylether (80:20, v/v). The evaporated extract was dissolved in 0.02 M NaOH. The extracts were chromatographed on an Supelcosil LCSAX column (5 m 250×4.6 mm I.D.) equipped with a guard column with a mibile phase composed of acetonitrile and phosphate buffer, with ultraviolet detection. Drugs were resolved at ambient temperature on a flow rate was 1.2 mL min–1, and monitoring was performed at 280 nm. The detection limits for lomefloxacin was 0.05 g mL–1, 0.02 g mL–1 for fenbufen and 0.03 g mL–1 for felbinac. No interference from other commonly administered drugs or endogenous substances was observed. The method is fast since it involves two extraction steps followed by evaporation of organic solvent and chromatography of the residue. This method was found to be applicable to pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies of each drug after the concomitant administration of lomefloxacin and febufen.  相似文献

5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3-chloro-4-sulfophenyl)porphine (m-Cl-TPPS4) was synthesized and used for the Spectrophotometric determination of mercury by flow injection analysis. A pseudo-first-order reaction kinetic mechanism was proposed with a rate constant of 0.8 min–1 for Hg(II) withm-Cl-TPPS4 in the presence of 8-hydroxyquinoline in a medium of 1.0M acetic acid and sodium acetate buffer solution (pH 6.22). In the optimum conditions of reaction temperature (85 ° C), stopped-flow time (60 s) and sampling volume (100 l), the method's relative standard deviation was 0.82% (n = 12) at 5.0 g ml–1 mercury, with a linear range of 0–12.0 g ml–1 and an analytical frequency of 60h–1. The detection limit (3) was 0.025 g ml–1. Interference studies showed that most metal ions co-existing with Hg2+ could be tolerated at 100-fold excess levels, but Zn2+, Cu2+ and Mn2+ needed to be masked. The method has been applied to the analysis of water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was used to determine the concentration of platinum (Pt) in silicone breast implant gel (range, 0.26–48.90 g g–1 Pt; n=15), elastomer (range, 3.05–28.78 g g–1 Pt; n=7), double lumen (range, 5.79–125.27 g g–1 Pt; n=7), foam (range, 5.79–8.36 g g–1 Pt; n=2), and capsular tissue (range, 0.003–0.272 g g–1 Pt; n=15). The results show that very high levels of Pt are present in the encasing elastomer, double lumen, and foam envelope materials. Silicone breast implants can be a source of significant Pt exposure for individuals with these implants.  相似文献

Summary In this paper the authors report on several methods for the direct determination of EDTA and indirect determination of iron(III), based on the inhibition effect of EDTA on the catalytic action of copper (II) on the oxidation of 2,2-dipyridyl ketone hydrazone by hydrogen peroxide and on the decrease of this inhibition effect in the presence of Fe(III), respectively. These methods allow the determination of EDTA in the ranges of 0.4–2.0 g · ml–1 and 0.2–1.0 g · ml–1 for the normal and reversed FIA modes, respectively, and of 40–240 ng · ml–1 for Fe(III) by reversed FIA.

Zusammenfassung Verfahren zur direkten Bestimmung von EDTA sowie zur indirekten Bestimmung von Eisen(III) werden beschrieben. Sie beruhen auf der Inhibitorwirkung von EDTA auf den katalytischen Effekt von Kupfer(II) bei der Oxidation von 2,2-Dipyridylketonhydrazon mit Wasserstoffperoxid bzw. auf der Schwächung dieser Inhibitorwirkung in Gegenwart von Eisen(III). Es ist mit diesen Methoden möglich, EDTA im Bereich von 0,4–2,0 g/ml (normale FIA) bzw. 0,2–1,0 g/ml (umgekehrte FIA) und Eisen im Bereich von 40–240 ng/ml (umgekehrte FIA) zu bestimmen.

Precise and accurate determination of hexavalent chromium in different types of solid environmental sample is regarded as a technical challenge with significant potential error if historically accepted methods are used. Microwave-assisted alkaline extraction (0.5 mol L–1 NaOH+0.28 mol L–1 Na2CO3) followed by anion-exchange chromatographic separation and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrophotometric detection has been shown to provide accurate and precise results. To obtain a better understanding of potential species conversion during and/or after extraction steps, speciated isotope-dilution mass spectrometry (SIDMS) (EPA Method 6800) metrology has been successfully applied as a diagnostic tool with the modified accompanying extraction version of EPA Method 3060A. In our study, aggregate materials distributed over a large area of a major western US state were found to contain a high concentration of total chromium (195±13 to 709±19 g g–1) and significant amounts of Cr6+ (141±6 to 341±29 g g–1) which are at least three orders of magnitude higher than the US EPA threshold limit (0.5 g g–1). Sediment samples from a major western US state, studied independently, were found to contain less (1.77±0.34 g g–1) or no Cr6+ in the presence of significant total chromium.  相似文献

A rapid and sensitive method for the determination of the phthalate monoesters monoethyl phthalate (MEP), monobutyl phthalate (MBP), monobenzyl phthalate (MBzP) and monoethylhexyl phthalate (MEHP), in human urine, using packed capillary column liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray quadrupole-ion trap mass spectrometry (ESI-QITMSn) has been developed. Sample volumes of 200 L of deconjugated and diluted urine were loaded onto a precolumn of 30 mm×0.32 mm I.D. packed with Hypercarb 5 m particles, using a sample carrier consisting of acetonitrile/water (15/85, v/v, adjusted to pH 2 using HCl) with a flow rate of 20 L/min. Backflushed elution onto a 100 mm×0.32 mm I.D. analytical column packed with 5 m Hypercarb particles was conducted using a tetrahydrofuran/water gradient where both solvents contained 10 mM ammonium acetate, at a flow rate of 4 L/min. Determination of the monophthalates was achieved within 8 min. Ionization was performed in the negative mode and the analytes were observed as [M-H] at m/z=193.1, 221.1, 255.1 and 277.0 for MEP, MBP, MBzP and MEHP, respectively. Quantification was performed in the multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode monitoring the fragments at m/z=121.1, 177.0, 183.0 and 233.0 for MEP, MBP, MBzP and MEHP, respectively. The method was validated over the concentration range 2.5–125 ng/mL in pretreated urine samples, corresponding to 25–1250 ng/mL untreated urine, yielding correlation coefficients in the range 0.996–0.999. The within-assay (n=6) and between-assay (n=6) repeatabilities were in the range 4.0–18% and 4.8–15% RSD, respectively. The mass limits of detection were in the range 32–70 pg, corresponding to concentration limits of detection of 1.6–3.5 ng/mL of untreated urine.  相似文献
