Ferrocenylthymidine derivatives have been prepared by Pd-catalysed cross-coupling between ethynylferrocene or vinylferrocene and 5-iodo-2'-deoxyuridine. In the latter case a mixture of trans (2a) and gem (2b) isomers was obtained. The cis-vinylferrocenyl (2c), and ethylferrocenyl (3) derivatives were obtained by catalytic hydrogenation of ethynylferrocenyl-dT (1a), and 2c respectively. Single-crystal X-ray data for 1a, the ferrocenyl-2'furano-pyrimidone 1b, and 2a show that the nucleobase is essentially co-planar with the substituted Cp ring of the metallocene. The selective reduction of the linkage between the ferrocenyl and thymidine moieties, from -C identical to C- to -CH2CH2-, causes a shift in the reduction potential of -124 mV. DFT calculations for the one-electron oxidised species indicate that the diminished conjugation reduces the spin transfer onto the bridging C2 group, but has less effect on the extent transferred to the nucleobase from the ferrocenyl group. Compound 1a was incorporated site-specifically into DNA oligonucleotides by using automated solid-phase methods. However, some interconversion of 1a-->1b occurs, even under rapid mild conditions of deprotection.  相似文献

An X-ray structural study of 2,5-bis(fluorodinitromethyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (1), one of the representatives of azoles with strong electron-withdrawing substituents, has been carried out. It has been found that in the orthorhombic modification of1 the conformations of the fluorodinitromethyl groups are different. Intermolecular contacts in the crystal are realized through the heterocycles arranged at large angles to each other. The presence of strong electron-withdrawing substituents results in shortening of the C-O bonds and in a certain increase in the OCN angle in the 1,3,4-oxadiazole ring.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Crystal structures of four different di-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds (aryl = 2-pyridyl-, 3-pyridyl-, 2-aminophenyl-, 3-aminophenyl-) are determined. Crystallization of di(2-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole yielded monoclinic and triclinic polymorphs. The structures are characterized by the occurrence of π–π interactions. Additionally, in case of the aminophenyl compounds intra- as well as intermolecular hydrogen bonds are found that influence the packing motif as well. Since these molecules are often used as ligands in metal–organic complexes similarities and differences of the molecular conformation between the molecules in the pure crystals and that of the ligands in the complexes are discussed.  相似文献

2-(4-tert-Butylphenyl)-5-(4-ethynylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole reacts with a series of heteroaryl iodides under standard Sonogashira cross-coupling conditions (Pd[PPh(3)](2)Cl(2), CuI, triethylamine, THF) to yield products 2a-g in 40-79% yields (heteroaryl = 2-pyridyl, 3-pyridyl, 4-pyridyl, 2-pyrazyl, 5-bromo-2-pyrimidyl, 2-thienyl and 3-thienyl, respectively). Compound 2f was lithiated followed by electrophilic iodination (BuLi, perfluorohexyl iodide) to give 3, which by a two-step sequence gave the terminal ethynylthienyl derivative 5. Conversion of 5 into the terminal ethynylaldehyde derivative 7, via acetal derivative 6, proceeded in high yield. Starting from 2-iodo-5-methoxycarbonylthiophene, a five-step sequence afforded 2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-5-(4-ethynylthienyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole 13 (13% overall yield). Reactions of 13 gave terminal pyridyl, pyrazyl, pyrimidyl and thienyl derivatives, analogous to those obtained from 1. Two-fold reaction of 13 with 2,5-diiodothiophene gave the bis(ethynylthienyl)thiophene derivative 15 (30% yield). Solution UV-Vis absorption and photoluminescence spectra establish that replacement of the phenyl ring in the 2,5-diphenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole series 2a-g by a thienyl ring [i.e. the 2-phenyl-5-(2-thienyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole series 14a-g] leads to a red shift in the lowest energy band in both the absorption spectra and emission spectra. The X-ray crystal structures of compounds 2d, 2g, 5 and 14d.CHCl(3) reveal that the molecular structures are approximately planar although there are substantial differences in the conformations.  相似文献

Syntheses of 2,5-bis(4-methyl-2-thienyl)thiophene 3 and 2,5-bis(4-methyl-2-thienyl)pyrrole 4 are described. The key step involves Stetter reaction between 4-methyl-2-thiophenecarboxaldehyde and divinyl sulfone. Cyclizaton of the resulting 1,4-bis-(4-methyl-2-thienyl)-1,4-butanedione 2 with Lawesson's reagent gives 2,5-bis(4-methyl-2-thienyl)thiophene 3, whereas condensation with ammonium acetate provides the 2,5-bis(4-methyl-2-thienyl)pyrrole 4.  相似文献

Palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling between 2,5-dimethyl-3-thienylboronic and mucobromic acids under phase transfer catalysis (PTC) conditions gave the expected 3,4-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)-5-hydroxyfuran-2-one in 32% yield. The by-product was 2,2’,5,5’-tetramethyl-3,3’-bithiophene. The oxidation of the obtained hemiacylal with potassium permanganate under PTC conditions afforded 3,4-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)furan-2,5-dione in high yield.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Photoswitching of the intramolecular magnetic interaction was demonstrated using diarylethenes with 2,5-bis(arylethynyl)-4-methyl-3-thienyl side group. Two nitroxide radicals were placed at each end of the 2,5-bis(arylethynyl)-4-methyl-3-thienyl group. Three kinds of aryl groups, 2,5-thienylene, p-phenylene, and m-phenylene groups, were used in the arylethynyl moiety. The diarylethene photoswitching units have an extended pi-conjugated chain on one side of the diarylethene. The photochromic reactivity was dependent on the arylethynyl group. Diarylethenes with m-phenylene group showed an efficient photochromic reactivity. Along with the photochromic reaction the diarylethenes showed photoswitching of an ESR spectrum originating from the change in the magnetic interaction between two unpaired electrons. The open-ring isomer showed stronger exchange interaction than the photogenerated closed-ring isomer. The magnetic interaction between two radicals via the pi-conjugated chain was altered by photocyclization due to the change of the hybrid orbital at the 2-position of the thiophene ring from sp(2) to sp(3).  相似文献

The photochromic title compound,C_(26)H_(18)F_6N_2OS_2,contains a 2,5-dimethylthiophene ring and a N-formyl aminoquinolinyl thiophene ring on the C=C double bond of the cyclopentene ring.The dihedral angles between the cyclopentene and attached N-formyl aminoquinolinyl thiophene ring and 2,5-dimethylthiophene ring are 63.0° and 137.1°,respectively.The dihedral angle between the thiophene ring and the adjacent aminoquinoline ring is 5.7°.The molecule adopts an antiparallel conformation,with a distance between the two photoreactive C atoms of 3.763 ?.In addition,the absorption and fluorescence spectral changes were measured in acetonitile and solid at room temperature,and the result showed that the title compound could undergo photochromic reaction in both states.  相似文献

The geometry and electronic structures of complexes of 4-oxo-4-(2-thienyl)- and 4-oxo-4-(5-methyl-2-thienyl)butyryl chlorides with aluminum chloride, as well as the corresponding carbocations, were studied in terms of the density functional theory (DFT) using the B3LIP/6-311+G(2d,p) method and the semiempirical PM6 method. An analysis of the relative energies of the complexes and cations made it possible to interpret side reactions accompanying the acylation of thiophenes with succinyl dichloride.  相似文献

The synthesis of 1,2-bis(2-ethylthio-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene is described. Metallation with n-BuLi and subsequent treatment with DMF or CO2 gave the corresponding 5,5-diformyl and dicarboxy derivatives. The structure of 1,2-bis(2-ethylthio-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene was studied by x-ray structural analysis. It was established that the unit cell contains two crystallographically independent molecules with geometrical and conformational parameters close to one another. The thiophene rings were inclined at an angle of 60° to the plane of the perfluorocyclopentene fragment, the thioalkyl groups were disposed antiparallel to it.N. D. 2-Methylthiophene (1) was treated at 0°C with liquid bromine to form 3,5-dibromo-2-methylthiophene (2) which reacted with tributyl borate to give 2-methyl-3-bromo-5-boronate thiophene (3) at −78°C. Treatment of 3 with 3,4-difluorobrombenzene gave 2-methyl-3-bromo-5-(3,4-difluorophenyl)thiophene (4). Finally, a novel photochromic dithienylethene compound, 1,2-bis [2-methyl-5(3,4-difluorophenyl)-3-thienyl]perfluorocyclopentene (DT-1), was synthesized by the reaction of 4 with perfluorocyclopentene at −78°C. A novel photochromic diarylethene, 1,2-bis{2-ethyl-5-[2-(1,3-dioxolane)]-3-thienyl}perfluorocyclopentene (BEDTP), was synthesized and its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Its photochromic and fluorescent properties were also investigated. The results showed that this compound exhibited reversible photochromism, changing from colorless to magenta after irradiation with UV light both in solution and in the crystalline phase. In hexane solution, the open-ring isomer of BEDTP exhibited relatively strong fluorescence at 400 nm when excited at 282 nm. The fluorescence intensity decreased along with the photochromism upon irradiation with 254 nm light and its closed-ring isomer showed almost no fluorescence.  相似文献

The high symmetry and resulting electronic degeneracy of the C(60)(3)(-) anion is viewed as the key molecular feature in the high superconducting transition temperatures of fulleride and oxidized fullerene systems. The experimental evaluation of this hypothesis requires the synthesis of face-centered cubic (fcc) trivalent fulleride anion salts derived from higher fullerenes such as C(70), which have thus far proved elusive with only stable A(1)C(70), A(4)C(70), and A(6)C(70) phases known. In this paper, we report the synthesis of fcc A(3)C(70) phases stabilized by size-matching the tetrahedral site with the sodium cation. The structures are strongly dependent on the cooling protocol due to the existence of metastable partially or completely orientationally disordered phases. EPR data indicate that the phases are metallic but not superconducting. The densities of states at the Fermi level appear too low to give superconductivity at above 5 K, consistent with recent observations that four electrons per C(70) anion are required for superconductivity. Size-matching on both the octahedral and tetrahedral sites is required for A(3)C(70) stability - K(2)CsC(70) is only stable at elevated temperature and Na(2)C(70) is unstable, the composition corresponding to C(70) and a sodium-rich trigonal phase.  相似文献

A new class of π-conjugated organic compounds, 1-aryl-2,5-bis[5-(tricyanoethenyl)-2-thienyl]pyrroles that form gold-like lustrous crystals with a high melting point were obtained. The molecules in these crystals are arranged in a planar sheet to get close to each other via the intermolecular CH?N hydrogen bond between the cyano nitrogen and the hydrogen of the nearest thiophene or pyrrole ring, which makes the crystals sparingly soluble in common organic solvents.  相似文献

A novel pi-conjugated organic compound, 1-phenyl-2,5-bis[5-(tricyanoethenyl)-2-thienyl]pyrrole, which bears two powerful electron-withdrawing tricyanoethenyl substitutents, readily yielded gold-like metal-lustrous inclusion crystals with a series of aromatic guest molecules such as toluene, p-xylene, anisole, dimethoxybenzenes and indene. All the inclusion compounds have a common stoichiometric ratio (host/guest) of 2 : 1. X-Ray structural analyses demonstrate that the structural feature for toluene included crystal is similar to those containing p-xylene, anisole, dimethoxybenzenes and indene.  相似文献
