A simple, rapid and reliable capillary electrophoresis method with a photodiode array detector was developed for determination of azide as the 3,5-dinitrobenzoyl derivative in drink samples fortified with sodium azide. Sample preparation was simple and rapid because no more than a simple dilution of samples is needed after quick derivatization. Separation was carried out using a buffer system comprising 25 mM phosphate buffer and 4 mM cetyltrimethylammonium hydroxide at pH 3.0. Methyl benzoate was selected as the internal standard (IS). This study investigated the influence of the concentration of phosphate buffer and electroosmotic flow (EOF) modifier, and the buffer pH on migration time and signal response. The optimized method made it possible to determine azide within 5 min. The limit of detection was determined to be 1.9 microg/ml with SIN > 3. The quantitation range was 6.5-323 microg/ml. By the method recoveries of azide in drink samples fortified with sodium azide were investigated. Mean recovery values ranged from 93.6 to 105.8% and results were satisfactory. In addition, no interference was observed in electropherograms of drink samples fortified with sodium azide. Thus, by this method, azide in drink samples can be determined rapidly with high recoveries and good selectivity despite extremely simple sample preparation.  相似文献

In this work a simple method was described for selective extraction of benzoic acid from landfill leachate samples. The samples were submitted to solid-phase extraction (SPE) with XAD-4 resin as the stationary phase and ion-exchange chromatography (IEC) using the ion-exchange resin Amberlyst A-27. The instrumental analysis was performed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection (GC-MSD). Benzoic acid was isolated, identified and quantified. The extraction process is rapid, simple and of low cost. It was also environmental friendly, that is, it was used a minimum amounts of hazardous organic solvents and produced also minimum quantities of residues.  相似文献

A simple and versatile variable-volume injector is described for the introduction of samples in flow-injection systems. The device delivers precisely and reproducibly (usually r.s.d. < 0.9%) 4–62-μl volumes of sample and is simple to assemble. Examples of applications include the generation of a family of calibration graphs of varying sensitivity covering an extended concentration range for the analysis of real samples. The construction of a calibration graph from a single standard solution is also possible. This is useful in the routine analysis of samples with widely varying analyte concentrations.  相似文献

This paper reports on the application of a potentiometric sensor array to the food analysis field, in order to distinguish simple tastes and to classify food samples. This array is formed by a set of non-specific all-solid-state potentiometric sensors and has been used in combination with principal component analysis (PCA) for the classification of food samples in batch and in flow injection mode. First attempt was to classify synthetic samples prepared with controlled variability. Once this ability is proven, satisfactory classification results are presented for commercial waters, orange-based drinks and tea samples. An interesting correlation is achieved between the natural juice content and its first calculated component, which allows for a very simple tool for screening purposes.  相似文献

Coupling of ion chromatography with electrospray mass spectrometry (IC-MS) is a simple, sensitive and quick method for the determination of polar organic traces in water samples without derivatization. Analysis of the chelating agents ethylenediamino tetraacetate (EDTA) and diethylenetriamino pentaacetate (DTPA) in aqueous samples was done by IC-MS on an anion exchange column after simple sample preparation steps. Quantification down to a concentration level of 1 microg L(-1) even in wastewater influents and effluents was achieved utilizing 13C marked internal standards and measuring the individual [M - H+]- and stable [M - 4H+ + Fe3+]- cluster ions. The method was validated against certified, but more time consuming routine methods. Applying this method a series of several European water samples were analyzed for EDTA and DTPA indicating their nature as polar persistent pollutants.  相似文献

Dimenhydrinate (DIM) is a salt composed by the combination of two active pharmaceutical ingredients: diphenhydramine (DIP) and 8‐chlorotheophylline (CTP). In this work, the use of batch injection analysis with multiple pulse amperometric detection (BIA‐MPA) was proposed for the first time for fast stoichiometric determination of DIM. DIP (cation) and CTP (anion) were determined simultaneously in pharmaceutical samples with a simple and fast injection procedure (70 injections h?1). Additional strategies were also proposed for rapid screening of samples containing the DIM salt. By a simple injection of a sample into the BIA system (without using of calibration curve), reliable information about stoichiometry of the DIM salt (1 : 1; DIP:CTP) and presence or absence of interfering species (electroactive) can be achieved.  相似文献

通过向明胶溶液中加入硫酸钠溶液的单凝聚方法以及将明胶溶液加入到阿拉伯胶溶液的复凝聚方法,制备了聚合物包覆昆虫激素十二醇的水分散体系微胶囊.通过对凝聚过程中ζ电位与透光率跟踪测试确定了单凝聚中加入硫酸钠的最佳用量以及复凝聚中明胶与阿拉伯胶的相对量.在壁材浓度大于或等于3%条件下制备的复凝聚胶囊的尺寸大于单凝聚微胶囊,但后者的大小分布更均一.除非在2%壁材浓度下,其他条件下复凝聚制备的胶囊的十二醇包覆率明显高于单凝聚胶囊.对胶囊中十二醇在恒湿恒温条件下的释放研究表明,单凝聚胶囊中十二醇很快释放完毕,变化壁材浓度不明显改变其释放行为.相比之下复凝聚胶囊中十二醇的释放对壁材浓度有明显的依赖性.2%壁材浓度制备的胶囊其释放行为类似于单凝聚胶囊;但3%到5%壁材浓度制备的胶囊中十二醇的释放明显分为3个区间,即较快的初始释放、较长时间的恒速释放以及最后阶段释放速率的再次提高直至释放完毕.复凝聚胶囊中十二醇的释放表现出了明显的可控性.文中亦对该体系中昆虫激素十二醇的释放机理作了初步讨论.  相似文献

The paper describes the development of a very simple method to prepare samples of canned food (beverages, fruits and vegetables) for the determination of bisphenol A by isocratic HPLC with fluorescence detection. The new sample preparation method makes use of the selectivity of bisphenol A antibodies immobilized in a silica matrix by an inexpensive and simple sol-gel technique. In spite of applying highly complex food matrices, immunoaffinity columns could be used for clean-up of at least 15 real samples. Limits of detection (S/N=3) ranged from 0.1 ng/ml for beverages to 4.3 ng/g for vegetables.  相似文献

A simple and highly sensitive method called stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) and thermal desorption (TD)-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), which is used for the determination of trace amounts of 5-chloro-2-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)phenol (triclosan) in river water samples, is described. A stir bar coated with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is added to a 10mL water sample and stirring is carried out for 120min at room temperature (25 degrees C) in a vial. Then, the PDMS stir bar is subjected to TD-GC-MS. The detection limit of triclosan is 5ngL(-1) (ppt). The method shows linearity over the calibration range (0.02-20mugL(-1)) and the correlation coefficient is higher than 0.997 for triclosan standard solution. The recovery of triclosan in river water samples ranges from 91.9 to 108.3% (RSD: 4.0-7.0%). This simple, accurate, sensitive, and selective analytical method may be used in the determination of trace amounts of triclosan in river water samples.  相似文献

A simple and highly sensitive liquid chromatographic/electrospray tandem mass spectrometric (LC/MS/MS) assay was developed for the simultaneous determination of risperidone (RSP) and its major circulating metabolite 9-hydroxyrisperidone (9-OH-RSP) in the plasma of humans and rats. A simple one-step solvent extraction with 15% methylene chloride in pentane was used to isolate the compounds from plasma. The compounds were eluted from a phenyl-hexyl column and detected with a Perkin-Elmer SCIEX API2000 triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer using positive ion atmospheric pressure electrospray ionization and multiple reaction monitoring. The assay was linear over the range 0.1-100 ng ml(-1) when 0.5 ml of plasma was used in the extraction. The overall intra- (within-day) and inter- (between days) assay variations were < 11%. The variations in the concentrations of two long-term quality control samples from pooled patient plasma samples analyzed over a period of 6 months were approximately 10%. The analysis time for each sample was 4 min and more than 100 samples could be analyzed in one day by running the system overnight. The assay is simple, highly sensitive, selective, precise and fast. This method is being used for the therapeutic drug monitoring of schizophrenic patients treated with RSP and to study the pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution of RSP and 9-OH-RSP in rats.  相似文献

A very simple and direct method has been established for the determination of polygalic acid and its metabolites in rat urine based on HPLC coupled with electrospray ionization multi-stage tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-MS(n)). The rats were administered a single dose (100 mg/kg) of polygalic acid by oral gavage. The urine samples were collected and purified through a C(18) solid-phase extraction cartridge, and then these pretreated samples were injected into a reversed-phase C(18) column with a gradient elution program, whereas acetonitrile-0.5% aqueous formic acid was used as mobile phase and detected by an on-line MS/MS system. As a result, the parent drug and its four metabolites were identified and characterized in rat urine for the first time by comparing their changes in molecular mass (ΔM), retention times and full-scan MS(n) spectra with those of the parent drug. A possible metabolic pathway of polygalic acid was investigated and proposed. More importantly, the results demonstrated that the newly developed method (HPLC-ESI-MS(n)) was sensitive, simple and suitable for the determination of polygalic acid and its metabolites in biological samples.  相似文献

A simple method for accurate determination of nitrite and nitrate in serum was proposed to avoid the variation of nitrate reduction. For nitrite determination, serum samples were directly precipitated with methanol pre‐nitrate conversion, and then the supernatant reacted with 2,3‐diaminonaphthalene (DAN) to form 2,3‐naphthotriazole (NAT), which was quantitatively analyzed by high‐performance liquid chromatography coupled with fluorescence detection (HPLC‐FL). For nitrate determination, samples were firstly heated at 70°C for 10 min to inactivate endogenous reductase‐inhibiting proteins, then nitrate in the samples was quantitatively reduced to nitrite by reductase added experimentally. The difference in total nitrite concentrations between pre‐ and post‐nitrate conversion was used to calculate the amount of nitrate in the samples. In addition to good specificity, high sensitivity, satisfactory accuracy and reproducibility, our method is simple and suitable for the quantitative determination of nanomolar level of nitrite and nitrate in a large number of serum samples. A solid-phase fluorescent biosensor for the determination of phenolic compounds (simple substituted phenols and catecholamines) and peroxides has been developed. The biosensor has a simple construction and the analytical signal is measured directly in a biosensitive layer {peroxidase-chitosan} on the sensor surface. This approach allowed analyzing samples with complex matrices (including water-insoluble samples and nontransparent solutions) without their preliminary pretreatment. Two novel fluorescent indicator reactions for the determination of the above-mentioned analytes in wide concentration ranges (from nmol l?1 to mm l?1) which provided an analytical signal registration on a solid phase were proposed. The developed sensor was applied successfully for the analysis of urine, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals preparations, etc.  相似文献

In this paper, a rapid and simple method for the analysis of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in house dust samples based on microwave-assisted solvent extraction (MASE) and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) is presented. Extraction conditions were optimized using a multifactorial experimental design approach. The use of an aqueous NaOH phase in combination with a non-polar organic phase (hexane) to extract the target analytes from dust allowed an efficient extraction and reduced chromatographic background. The final hexane extracts could be analyzed after a simple one-step cleanup procedure using Florisil. The validation of the method was performed in terms of accuracy, linearity, and repeatability. The limits of detection (LODs) ranged from 0.29 to 0.55 ng/g for all compounds. The target PBDEs were found in several real dust samples collected in urban and rural houses of Northwestern Spain.  相似文献

A rapid and simple method using ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography with UV detection for the determination of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2 in corn and peanuts has been developed. In this method, aflatoxins were extracted with a mixture of acetonitrile and water (86:14) and then purified by solid-phase clean-up with a MycoSep#226 AflaZon(+) column. The toxins were determined by UPLC-UV without derivatizing aflatoxins in real samples, which has not been used in other studies. The mean recoveries of aflatoxins from non-infected peanut and corn samples spiked with aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2 at concentrations from 0.22 to 5 microg/kg were between 83.4% and 94.7%. The detection limits (S/N=3) for B1, B2, G1 and G2 were 0.32, 0.19, 0.32 and 0.19 microg/kg, and the corresponding quantification limits (S/N=10) were 1.07, 0.63, 1.07 and 0.63 microg/kg, respectively. We also applied this method on real samples. Among 16 peanut samples, 2 (12.5% incidence) were contaminated with aflatoxin; among 18 corn samples, 4 (22% incidence) were contaminated. The proposed method is rapid, simple and accurate for monitoring aflatoxins in corn and peanuts.  相似文献

Authentic samples of whisky produced in Scotland and USA and counterfeit whisky samples commercialized in Brazil have been directly submitted to electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) analysis in both the negative and positive ion modes to assess the potential of this technique for simple and rapid quality control and proof of authenticity of whisky samples. ESI in the negative ion mode yields the most characteristic whisky fingerprinting mass spectra in just a few seconds by direct infusion of the samples, detecting the most polar or acidic components of each sample in their deprotonated anionic forms. No pre-treatment of the sample, such as extraction or derivatization or even dilution, is required. The analysis of the ESI(-)-MS data both by simple visual inspection but more particularly by chemometric data treatment enables separation of the whisky samples into three unequivocally distinct groups: Scotch, American and counterfeit whisky, whereas single malt and blended Scotch whiskies are also distinguished to some extent. As indicated by ESI-MS/MS analysis, the diagnostic anions are simple sugars, disaccharides and phenolic compounds. Direct infusion ESI-MS therefore provides immediate chemical fingerprinting of whisky samples for type, origin and quality control, as demonstrated herein for American, Scottish and counterfeit samples, whereas ESI-MS/MS analysis of diagnostic ions adds a second dimension of fingerprinting characterization when improved selectivity is desired.  相似文献

For quick and accurate analysis or small diameter steel wire rods, a special holder has been designed for use with the Atom-Counter 750 V spectrometer (JARRELL-ASH). The spectrometer is normally used for analysis of large flat samples. Wire rod samples with diameters of 6–16 mm were rapidly analysed (with the same precision and accuracy as flat samples) by using the holder.
