All-solid-state lithium ion batteries (LIBs) are ideal for energy storage given their safety and long-term stability. However, there is a limited availability of viable electrode active materials. Herein, we report a truxenone-based covalent organic framework (COF-TRO) as cathode materials for all-solid-state LIBs. The high-density carbonyl groups combined with the ordered crystalline COF structure greatly facilitate lithium ion storage via reversible redox reactions. As a result, a high specific capacity of 268 mAh g−1, almost 97.5 % of the calculated theoretical capacity was achieved. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest capacity among all COF-based cathode materials for all-solid-state LIBs reported so far. Moreover, the excellent cycling stability (99.9 % capacity retention after 100 cycles at 0.1 C rate) shown by COF-TRO suggests such truxenone-based COFs have great potential in energy storage applications.  相似文献

Nanoporous ZnMn2O4 nanorods have been successfully synthesized by calcining β-MnO2/ZIF-8 precursors (ZIF-8 is a type of metal–organic framework). If measured as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries, the ZnMn2O4 nanorods exhibit an initial discharge capacity of 1792 mA h g−1 at 200 mA g−1, and an excellent reversible capacity of 1399.8 mA h g−1 after 150 cycles (78.1 % retention of the initial discharge capacity). Even at 1000 mA g−1, the reversible capacity is still as high as 998.7 mA h g−1 after 300 cycles. The remarkable lithium-storage performance is attributed to the one-dimensional nanoporous structure. The nanoporous architecture not only allows more lithium ions to be stored, which provides additional interfacial lithium-storage capacity, but also buffers the volume changes, to a certain degree, during the Li+ insertion/extraction process. The results demonstrate that nanoporous ZnMn2O4 nanorods with superior lithium-storage performance have the potential to be candidates for commercial anode materials in lithium-ion batteries.  相似文献

Recently, the frequency of combining MXene, which has unique properties such as metal-level conductivity and large specific surface area, with silicon to achieve excellent electrochemical performance has increased considerably. There is no doubt that the introduction of MXene can improve the conductivity of silicon and the cycling stability of electrodes after elaborate structure design. However, most exhaustive contacts can only improve the electrode conductivity on the plane. Herein, a MXene@Si/CNTs (HIEN-MSC) composite with hierarchical interpenetrating electroconductive networks has been synthesized by electrostatic self-assembly. In this process, the CNTs are first combined with silicon nanoparticles and then assembled with MXene nanosheets. Inserting CNTs into silicon nanoparticles can not only reduce the latter‘s agglomeration, but also immobilizes them on the three-dimensional conductive framework composed of CNTs and MXene nanosheets. Therefore, the HIEN-MSC electrode shows superior rate performance (high reversible capacity of 280 mA h−1 even tested at 10 A g−1), cycling stability (stable reversible capacity of 547 mA h g−1 after 200 cycles at 1 A g−1) and applicability (a high reversible capacity of 101 mA h g−1 after 50 cycles when assembled with NCM622 into a full cell). These results may provide new insights for other electrodes with excellent rate performance and long-cycle stability.  相似文献

Transition metal oxide (TMO) anode materials in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) usually suffer from serious volume expansion leading to the pulverization of structures, further giving rise to lower specific capacity and worse cycling stability. Herein, by introducing polyoxometalate (POM) clusters into TMOs and precisely controlling the amount of POMs, the MnZnCuOx-phosphomolybdic acid hybrid sub-1 nm nanosheets (MZC-PMA HSNSs) anode is successfully fabricated, where the special electron rich structure of POMs is conducive to accelerating the migration of lithium ions on the anode to obtain higher specific capacity, and the non-covalent interactions between POMs and TMOs make the HSNSs possess excellent structural and chemical stability, thus exhibiting outstanding electrochemical performance in LIBs, achieving a high reversible capacity (1157 mAh g−1 at 100 mA g−1) and an admirable long-term cycling stability at low and high current densities.  相似文献

To address the problems associated with poor conductivity and large volume variation in practical applications as a conversion cathode, engineering of hierarchical nanostructured FeOF coupled with conductive decoration is highly desired, yet rarely reported. Herein, 3D starfish-like FeOF on reduced graphene oxide sheets (FeOF/rGO) is successfully prepared, for the first time, through a combination of solvothermal reaction, self-assembly, and thermal reduction. Integrating the structural features of the 3D hierarchical nanostructure, which favorably shorten the path for electron/ion transport and alleviate volumetric changes, with those of graphene wrapping, which can further enhance the electrical conductivity and maintain the structural stability of the electrode, the as-prepared FeOF/rGO composite exhibits a superior lithium-storage performance, including a high reversible capacity (424.5 mA h−1 g−1 at 50 mA g−1), excellent stability (0.016 % capacity decay per cycle during 180 cycles), and remarkable rate capability (275.8 mA h−1 g−1 at 2000 mA g−1).  相似文献

Organic electrode materials (OEMs), valued for their sustainability and structural tunability, have been attracting increasing attention for wide application in sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) and other rechargeable batteries. However, most OEMs are plagued with insufficient specific capacity or poor cycling stability. Therefore, it′s imperative to enhance their specific capacity and cycling stability through molecular design. Herein, we designed and synthesized a heteroaromatic molecule 2,3,8,9,14,15-hexanol hexaazatrinaphthalene (HATN-6OH) by the synergetic coupling of catechol (the precursor of ortho-quinone)/ortho-quinone functional groups and HATN conjugated core structures. The abundance of catechol/ortho-quinone and imine redox-active moieties delivers a high specific capacity of nine-electron transfer for SIBs. Most notably, the π–π interactions and intermolecular hydrogen bond forces among HATN-6OH molecules secure the stable long-term cycling performance of SIBs. Consequently, the as-prepared HATN-6OH electrode exhibited a high specific capacity (554 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1), excellent rate capability (202 mAh g−1 at 10 A g−1), and stable long-term cycling performance (73 % after 3000 cycles at 10 A g−1) in SIBs. Additionally, the nine-electron transfer mechanism is confirmed by systematic density functional theory (DFT) calculation, attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), and Raman analysis. The achievement of the synergetic coupling of the redox-active sites on OEMs could be an important key to the enhancement of SIBs and other metal-ion batteries.  相似文献

Two-dimensional metal–organic frameworks (2D MOFs) can be used as the cathodes for high-performance zinc-ion battery due to their large one-dimensional channels. However, the conventionally poor electrical conductivity and low structural stability hinder their advances. Herein, we report an alternately stacked MOF/MX heterostructure, exhibiting the 2D sandwich-like structure with abundant active sites, improved electrical conductivity and exceptional structural stability. Ex situ characterizations and theoretical calculations reveal a reversible intercalation mechanism of zinc ions and high electrical conductivity in the 2D heterostructure. Electrochemical tests confirm excellent Zn2+ migration kinetics and ideal pseudocapacitive behaviors. As a consequence, Cu-HHTP/MX shows a superior rate performance (260.1 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 and 173.1 mAh g−1 at 4 A g−1) and long-term cycling stability of 92.5 % capacity retention over 1000 cycles at 4 A g−1.  相似文献

The synthesis of morphology-controlled carbon-coated nanostructured LiFePO4 (LFP/Carbon) cathode materials by surfactant-assisted hydrothermal method using block copolymers is reported. The resulting nanocrystalline high surface area materials were coated with carbon and designated as LFP/C123 and LFP/C311. All the materials were systematically characterized by various analytical, spectroscopic and imaging techniques. The reverse structure of the surfactant Pluronic® 31R1 (PPO-PEO-PPO) in comparison to Pluronic® P123 (PEO-PPO-PEO) played a vital role in controlling the particle size and morphology which in turn ameliorate the electrochemical performance in terms of reversible specific capacity (163 mAh g−1 and 140 mAh g−1 at 0.1 C for LFP/C311 and LFP/C123, respectively). In addition, LFP/C311 demonstrated excellent electrochemical performance including lower charge transfer resistance (146.3 Ω) and excellent cycling stability (95 % capacity retention at 1 C after 100 cycles) and high rate capability (163.2 mAh g−1 at 0.1 C; 147.1 mAh g−1 at 1 C). The better performance of the former is attributed to LFP nanoparticles (<50 nm) with a specific spindle-shaped morphology. Further, we have also evaluated the electrode performance with the use of both PVDF and CMC binders employed for the electrode fabrication.  相似文献

Although the insertion of potassium ions into graphite has been proven to be realistic, the electrochemical performance of potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) is not yet satisfactory. Therefore, more effort is required to improve the specific capabilities and achieve a long cycling life. The mild carbonization process in molten salt (NaCl-KCl) is used to synthesize nitrogen/oxygen co-doped hierarchically porous carbon (NOPC) for PIBs by using cyanobacteria as the carbon source. This exhibits highly reversible capacities and ultra-long cycling stability, retaining a capacity of 266 mA h g−1 at 50 mA g−1 (100 cycles) and presents a capacity of 104.3 mA h g−1 at 1000 mA g−1 (1000 cycles). Kinetics analysis reveals that the potassium ion (K+) storage of NOPC is controlled by a capacitive process, which plays a crucial role in the excellent rate performance and superior reversible ability. The high proportion of capacitive behavior can be ascribed to the hierarchically porous structure and improved conductivity resulting from nitrogen and oxygen doping. Furthermore, density functional theory (DFT) calculations theoretically validate the enhanced potassium storage effect of the as-obtained NOPC. More importantly, the route to NOPC from cyanobacteria in molten salt provides a green approach to the synthesis of porous carbon materials.  相似文献

Silicon oxycarbides (SiOC) are regarded as potential anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, although inferior cycling stability and rate performance greatly limit their practical applications. Herein, amorphous SiOC is synthesized from Chlorella by means of a biotemplate method based on supercritical fluid technology. On this basis, tin particles with sizes of several nanometers are introduced into the SiOC matrix through the biosorption feature of Chlorella. As lithium-ion battery anodes, SiOC and Sn@SiOC can deliver reversible capacities of 440 and 502 mAh g−1 after 300 cycles at 100 mA g−1 with great cycling stability. Furthermore, as-synthesized Sn@SiOC presents an excellent high-rate cycling capability, which exhibits a reversible capacity of 209 mAh g−1 after 800 cycles at 5000 mA g−1; this is 1.6 times higher than that of SiOC. Such a novel approach has significance for the preparation of high-performance SiOC-based anodes.  相似文献

To solve the problems such as the dissolution and the poor conductivity of organic small molecule electrode materials, we construct π-d conjugated coordination polymer Ni-DHBQ with multiple redox-active centers as lithium storage materials. It exhibits an ultra-high capacity of 9-electron transfers, while the π-d conjugation and the laminar structure inside the crystal ensure fast electron transport and lithium ion diffusion, resulting in excellent rate performance (505.6 mAh g−1 at 1 A g−1 after 300 cycles). The interaction of Ni-DHBQ with the binder CMC synergistically inhibits its dissolution and anchors the Ni atoms, thus exhibiting excellent cycling stability (650.7 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 after 100 cycles). This work provides insight into the mechanism of lithium storage in π-d conjugated coordination polymers and the synergistic effect of CMC, which will contribute to the molecular design and commercial application of organic electrode materials.  相似文献

Multi-wall Sn/SnO2@carbon hollow nanofibers evolved from SnO2 nanofibers are designed and programable synthesized by electrospinning, polypyrrole coating, and annealing reduction. The synthesized hollow nanofibers have a special wire-in-double-wall-tube structure with larger specific surface area and abundant inner spaces, which can provide effective contacting area of electrolyte with electrode materials and more active sites for redox reaction. It shows excellent cycling stability by virtue of effectively alleviating pulverization of tin-based electrode materials caused by volume expansion. Even after 2000 cycles, the wire-in-double-wall-tube Sn/SnO2@carbon nanofibers exhibit a high specific capacity of 986.3 mAh g−1 (1 A g−1) and still maintains 508.2 mAh g−1 at high current density of 5 A g−1. This outstanding electrochemical performance suggests the multi-wall Sn/SnO2@ carbon hollow nanofibers are great promising for high performance energy storage systems.  相似文献

Organic carbonyl electrode materials are widely employed for alkali metal-ion secondary batteries in terms of their sustainability, structure designability and abundant resources. As a typical redox-active organic electrode materials, pyrene-4, 5, 9, 10-tetraone (PT) shows high theoretical capacity due to the rich carbonyl active sites. But its electrochemical behavior in secondary batteries still needs further exploration. Herein, PT-based linear polymers (PPTS) is synthesized with thioether bond as bridging group and then employed as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) and sodium-ion batteries (SIBs). As expected, PPTS shows improved conductivity and insolubility in the non-aqueous electrolyte. When used as an anode material for LIBs, PPTS delivers a high reversible specific capacity of 697.1 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 and good rate performance (335.4 mAh g−1 at 1 A g−1). Moreover, a reversible specific capacity of 205.2 mAh g−1 at 0.05 A g−1 could be obtained as an anode material for SIBs.  相似文献

Organic lithium ion batteries (LIBs) are considered as one of the next-generation green electrochemical energy storage (EES) devices. However, obtaining both high capacity and long-term cyclability is still the bottleneck of organic electrode materials for LIBs because of weak structural and chemical stability and low conductivity. Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) show potential to overcome these problems owing to its good stability and high capacity. Herein, the synthesis and characterization of two π-conjugated COFs, derived from the Schiff-base reaction of 2,4,6-triaminopyrimidne (TM) respectively with 1,4-phthalaldehyde (PA) and 1,3,5-triformylbenzene (TB) by a mechanochemical process are presented. As anode materials for LIBs, the COFs exhibit favorable electrochemical performance with the highest reversible discharge capacities of up to 401.3 and 379.1 mAh g−1 at a high current density (1 A g−1), respectively, and excellent long-term cyclability with 74.8 and 72.7 % capacity retention after 2000 cycles compared to the initial discharge capacities.  相似文献

Sodium- and potassium-ion batteries have attracted intensive attention recently as low-cost alternatives to lithium-ion batteries with naturally abundant resources. However, the large ionic radii of Na+ and K+ render their slow mobility, leading to sluggish diffusion in host materials. Herein, hierarchical FeSe2 microspheres assembled by closely packed nano/microrods are rationally designed and synthesized through a facile solvothermal method. Without carbonaceous material incorporation, the electrode delivers a reversible Na+ storage capacity of 559 mA h g−1 at a current rate of 0.1 A g−1 and a remarkable rate performance with a capacity of 525 mA h g−1 at 20 A g−1. As for K+ storage, the FeSe2 anode delivers a high reversible capacity of 393 mA h g−1 at 0.4 A g−1. Even at a high current rate of 5 A g−1, a discharge capacity of 322 mA h g−1 can be achieved, which is among the best high-rate anodes for K+ storage. The excellent electrochemical performance can be attributed to the favorable morphological structure and the use of an ether-based electrolyte during cycling. Moreover, quantitative study suggests a strong pseudocapacitive contribution, which boosts fast kinetics and interfacial storage.  相似文献

Low storage capacity and poor cycling stability are the main drawbacks of the electrode materials for sodium‐ion (Na‐ion) batteries, due to the large radius of the Na ion. Here we show that micro‐structured molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) can exhibit high storage capacity and excellent cycling and rate performances as an anode material for Na‐ion batteries by controlling its intercalation depth and optimizing the binder. The former method is to preserve the layered structure of MoS2, whereas the latter maintains the integrity of the electrode during cycling. A reversible capacity of 90 mAh g?1 is obtained on a potential plateau feature when less than 0.5 Na per formula unit is intercalated into micro‐MoS2. The fully discharged electrode with sodium alginate (NaAlg) binder delivers a high reversible capacity of 420 mAh g?1. Both cells show excellent cycling performance. These findings indicate that metal chalcogenides, for example, MoS2, can be promising Na‐storage materials if their operation potential range and the binder can be appropriately optimized.  相似文献

Current lithium-ion battery (LIB) technologies are all based on inorganic electrode materials, though organic materials have been used as electrodes for years. Disadvantages such as limited thermal stability and low specific capacity hinder their applications. On the other hand, the transition metal oxides that provide high lithium-storage capacity by way of electrochemical conversion reaction suffer from poor cycling stability. Here we report a novel high-performance, organic, lithium-storage material, a polypyrrole-cobalt-oxygen (PPy-Co-O) coordination complex, with high lithium-storage capacity and excellent cycling stability. Extended X-ray absorption fine structure and Raman spectroscopy and other physical and electrochemical characterizations demonstrate that this coordination complex can be electrochemically fabricated by cycling PPy-coated Co(3)O(4) between 0.0 V and 3.0 V versus Li(+)/Li. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations indicate that each cobalt atom coordinates with two nitrogen atoms within the PPy-Co coordination layer and the layers are connected with oxygen atoms between them. Coordination weakens the C-H bonds on PPy and makes the complex a novel lithium-storage material with high capacity and high cycling stability.  相似文献

Dual-ion batteries (DIBs) have attracted much attention owing to their low cost, high voltage, and environmental friendliness. As the source of active ions during the charging/discharging process, the electrolyte plays a critical role in the performance of DIBs, including capacity, energy density, and cycling life. However, most used electrolyte systems based on the LiPF6 salt demonstrate unsatisfactory performance in DIBs. We have successfully developed a 7.5 mol kg−1 lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (LiFSI) in a carbonate electrolyte system. Compared with diluted electrolytes, this highly concentrated electrolyte exhibits several advantages: 1) enhanced intercalation capacity and cycling stability of the graphite cathode, 2) optimized structural stability of the Al anode, and 3) significantly increased battery energy density. A proof-of-concept DIB based on this concentrated electrolyte exhibits a discharge capacity of 94.0 mAh g−1 at 200 mA g−1 and 96.8 % capacity retention after 500 cycles. By counting both the electrode materials and electrolyte, the energy density of this DIB reaches up to ≈180 Wh kg−1, which is among the best performances of DIBs reported to date.  相似文献

The influence of environmentally friendly aqueous binders and carbon coating on the electrochemical performance of SiO powder anodes for lithium ion batteries has been investigated in detail. The SiO anode with sodium alginate (Alg), styrene butadiene rubber/sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (SCMC) or polyacrylic acid binder exhibits fairly good cycling stability. However, use of polyvinyl alcohol as binder results in rapid capacity loss during cycling. The positive effect of the former binders could be attributed to the amorphous structures and ester-like bond, which were detected by X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared. The cycling performance is further enhanced by carbon coating on the surface of the SiO. The reversible capacity of SiO/C electrode with either Alg or SCMC can retain ca. 940 mAh g?1 after 100 cycles. In particular, a long-term cycling stability can be achieved for SiO/C electrode using SCMC binder. Additionally, the high irreversibility of SiO/C electrode at the first cycle can be completely compensated by a simple pretreatment.  相似文献

A facile microwave method was employed to synthesize NiCo2O4 nanosheets as electrode materials for lithium‐ion batteries and supercapacitors. The structure and morphology of the materials were characterized by X‐ray diffraction, field‐emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller methods. Owing to the porous nanosheet structure, the NiCo2O4 electrodes exhibited a high reversible capacity of 891 mA h g?1 at a current density of 100 mA g?1, good rate capability and stable cycling performance. When used as electrode materials for supercapacitors, NiCo2O4 nanosheets demonstrated a specific capacitance of 400 F g?1 at a current density of 20 A g?1 and superior cycling stability over 5000 cycles. The excellent electrochemical performance could be ascribed to the thin porous structure of the nanosheets, which provides a high specific surface area to increase the electrode–electrolyte contact area and facilitate rapid ion transport.  相似文献
