The lithium complexes [(WCA-NHC)Li(toluene)] of anionic N-heterocyclic carbenes with a weakly coordinating anionic borate moiety (WCA-NHC) reacted with iodine, bromine, or CCl4 to afford the zwitterionic 2-halogenoimidazolium borates (WCA-NHC)X (X=I, Br, Cl; WCA=B(C6F5)3, B{3,5-C6H3(CF3)2}3; NHC=IDipp=1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene, or NHC=IMes=1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene). The iodine derivative (WCA-IDipp)I (WCA=B(C6F5)3) formed several complexes of the type (WCA-IDipp)I ⋅ L (L=C6H5Cl, C6H5Me, CH3CN, THF, ONMe3), revealing its ability to act as an efficient halogen bond donor, which was also exploited for the preparation of hypervalent bis(carbene)iodine(I) complexes of the type [(WCA-IDipp)I(NHC)] and [PPh4][(WCA-IDipp)I(WCA-NHC)] (NHC=IDipp, IMes). The corresponding bromine complex [PPh4][(WCA-IDipp)2Br] was isolated as a rare example of a hypervalent (10-Br-2) system. DFT calculations reveal that London dispersion contributes significantly to the stability of the bis(carbene)halogen(I) complexes, and the bonding was further analyzed by quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) analysis.  相似文献

The majority of binary chalcogen fluorides are fiercely reactive and extremely difficult to handle. Here, we show that access to crystalline donor-acceptor complexes between chalcogen difluorides (sulfur, selenium) and tetrafluorides (selenium, tellurium) with the N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (IPr) is possible conveniently and safely without the need to generate the highly unstable EF2 (E=S, Se) or the very toxic and corrosive SeF4.  相似文献

由于其强给电子能力、结构易修饰性和拓扑学特性,N-杂环卡宾成为继有机膦配体之后又一类重要的配体。其金属络合物在均相及不对称催化领域的催化性能是近期研究的热点,已有许多成功的结果。本文综述了近年来N-杂环卡宾及其金属络合物以及N-杂环卡宾的重要前体咪唑盐的合成方法。金属-N-杂环卡宾络合物的合成方法包括:(a)游离卡宾与金属化合物直接络合;(b)咪唑盐与金属化合物在强碱作用下络合;(c)利用Ag-NHC通过卡宾配体转移方法制备新的金属络合物。关于N-杂环卡宾前体的合成途径主要有:(a)乙二醛、伯胺和多聚甲醛的缩合反应;(b)卤代烷与咪唑及其取代咪唑的烷基化反应;(c)原甲酸酯与1,2-二胺的成环反应;(d)肼或酰胺与酸酐的环化反应;(e)用Na/K对环硫脲化合物的还原反应。  相似文献

室温下,18-电子体系的半夹心铑配合物Cp*Rh(L)S2C2(B10H10)(L=4-ClCH2-C6H4N (2a),4-CH3SCH2-C6H4N (2b))可以通过16-电子体系的半夹心铑配合物[Cp*Rh[2C2(B10H10)]与吡啶衍生物合成。化合物通过IR、1H NMR和元素分析进行了表征,并用X-射线单晶衍射测定了配合物2a和2b的单晶结构。  相似文献

The 1-methyl-3-(tricyanoborane)imidazolin-2-ylidenate anion ( 2 ) was obtained in high yield by deprotonation of the B(CN)3-methylimidazole adduct 1 . Regarding charge and stereo-electronic properties, anion 2 closes the gap between well-known neutral NHCs and the ditopic dianionic NHC, the 1,3-bis(tricyanoborane)imidazolin-2-ylidenate dianion ( IIb ). The influence of the number of N-bonded tricyanoborane moieties on the σ-donating and π-accepting properties of NHCs was assessed by quantum chemical calculations and verified by experimental data on 2 , IIb , and 1,3-dimethylimidazolin-2-ylidene (IMe, IIa ). Therefore NHC 2 , which acts as a ditopic ligand via the carbene center and the cyano groups, was reacted with alkyl iodides, selenium, and [Ni(CO)4] yielding alkylated imidazoles 3 and 4 , the anionic selenium adduct 5 , and the anionic nickel tricarbonyl complex 8 , respectively. The results of this study prove that charge, number of coordination sites, buried volume (%Vbur) and σ-donor and π-acceptor abilities of NHCs can be effectively fine-tuned via the number of tricyanoborane substituents.  相似文献

The lithium complexes [(WCA-NHC)Li(toluene)] of anionic N-heterocyclic carbenes with a weakly coordinating borate moiety (WCA-NHC, WCA=B(C6F5)3, NHC=IDipp=1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene) were used for the preparation of silver(I) or copper(I) WCA-NHC complexes. While the reactions in THF with AgCl or CuCl afforded anionic mono- and dicarbene complexes with solvated lithium counterions [Li(THF)n]+ (n=3, 4), the reactions in toluene proceeded with elimination of LiCl and formation of the neutral phosphine and arene complexes [(WCA-NHC)M(PPh3)] and [(WCA-NHC)M(η2-toluene)] (M=Ag, Cu). The latter were used for the preparation of chlorido- and iodido-bridged heterobimetallic Ag/Ru and Cu/Ru complexes [(WCA-NHC)M(μ-X)2Ru(PPh3)(η6-p-cymene)] (M=Ag, Cu, X=Cl; M=Ag, X=I). Surprisingly, these complexes resisted the elimination of CuCl, AgCl, or AgI, precluding WCA-NHC transmetalation.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of the N-heterocyclic carbene ligand IMes(NMe2)2, derived from the well-known IMes ligand by substitution of the carbenic heterocycle with two dimethylamino groups, was investigated with d6 [Mn(I), Fe(II)], d8 [Rh(I)], and d10 [Cu(I)] transition-metal centers. The redox behavior of the resulting organometallic complexes was studied through a combined experimental/theoretical study, involving electrochemistry, EPR spectroscopy, and DFT calculations. While the complexes [CuCl(IMes(NMe2)2)], [RhCl(COD)(IMes(NMe2)2)], and [FeCp(CO)2 (IMes(NMe2)2)](BF4) exhibit two oxidation waves, the first oxidation wave is fully reversible but only for the first complex the second oxidation wave is reversible. The mono-oxidation event for these complexes occurs on the NHC ligand, with a spin density mainly located on the diaminoethylene NHC-backbone, and has a dramatic effect on the donating properties of the NHC ligand. Conversely, as the Mn(I) center in the complex [MnCp(CO)2 ((IMes(NMe2)2)] is easily oxidizable, the latter complex is first oxidized on the metal center to form the corresponding cationic Mn(II) complex, and the NHC ligand is oxidized in a second reversible oxidation wave.  相似文献

A series of Rh(κ2-BHetA)(η2-coe)(IPr) complexes bearing 1,3-bis-hetereoatomic acidato ligands (BHetA) including carboxylato (O,O), thioacetato (O,S), amidato (O,N), thioamidato (N,S), and amidinato (N,N), have been prepared by reaction of the dinuclear precursor [Rh(μ-Cl)(IPr)(η2-coe)]2 with the corresponding anionic BHetA species. The RhI-NHC-BHetA compounds catalyze the dimerization of aryl alkynes, showing excellent selectivity for the head-to-tail enynes. Among them, the acetanilidato-based catalyst has shown an outstanding catalytic performance reaching unprecedented TOF levels of 2500 h−1 with complete selectivity for the gem-isomer. Investigation of the reaction mechanism supports a non-oxidative pathway in which the BHetA ligand behaves as proton shuttle through intermediate κ1-HBHetA species. However, in the presence of pyridine as additive, the identification of the common RhIIIH(C≡CPh)2(IPr)(py)2 intermediate gives support for an alternative oxidative route.  相似文献

Rhodium(I) carbenes were generated from propargylic alcohol derivatives as the result of a dehydrative indole annulation. Depending on the choice of the electron‐withdrawing group on the aniline nitrogen nucleophile, either a cyclopropanation product or dimerization product was obtained chemoselectively. Intramolecular hydroamidation occurred for the same type of propargylic alcohol derivatives when other transition‐metal catalysts were employed.  相似文献

Herein we report on the synthesis and structural characterization of a representative range of novel heterodinuclear bridging rhodium and iridium borylene complexes. The iridium borylene complexes feature an unusual coordination mode of the borylene ligand. Furthermore, the first instance of a heterodinuclear‐bridged borylene compound containing a chromium atom in the three‐membered ring is reported.  相似文献

A series of group 13 complexes of the general type [{(WCA‐IDipp)EX3}Li(solv)] (E=B, Al, Ga, In; X=Cl, Br) that bear an anionic N‐heterocyclic carbene ligand with a weakly coordinating borate moiety (WCA‐IDipp, WCA=B(C6F5)3 and IDipp=1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazolin‐2‐ylidene) were prepared by the reaction of the respective group 13 trihalides (EX3) with the lithium salt [(WCA‐IDipp)Li ? toluene]. The molecular structures of the BBr3, AlCl3, AlBr3, GaCl3 and InCl3 adducts were established by X‐ray diffraction analyses, revealing the formation of coordination polymers linked by halide‐lithium interactions, except for the indium derivative, which consists of isolated [Li(THF)4]+ and [(WCA‐IDipp)InCl3]? ions in the solid state.  相似文献

A series of mixed bis-NHC rhodium(I) complexes of type RhCl(η2-olefin)(NHC)(NHC’) have been synthesized by a stepwise reaction of [Rh(μ-Cl)(η2-olefin)2]2 with two different NHCs (NHC = N-heterocyclic carbene), in which the steric hindrance of both NHC ligands and the η2-olefin is critical. Similarly, new mixed coumarin-functionalized bis-NHC rhodium complexes have been prepared by a reaction of mono NHC complexes of type RhCl(NHC-coumarin)(η22-cod) with the corresponding azolium salt in the presence of an external base. Both synthetic procedures proceed selectively and allow the preparation of mixed bis-NHC rhodium complexes in good yields.  相似文献

Nine- and ten-membered N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands have been developed and for the first time their gold(I) complexes were synthesized. The protonated NHC pro-ligands 2 a – h were prepared by the reaction of readily available N,N′-diarylformamidines with bis-electrophilic building blocks, followed by anion exchange. In situ deprotonation of the tetrafluoroborates 2 a – h with tBuOK in the presence of AuCl(SMe2) provided fast access to NHC-gold(I) complexes 3 – 10 . These new NHC-gold(I) complexes show very good catalytic activity in a cycloisomerization reaction (0.1 mol % catalyst loading, up to 100 % conversion) and their solid-state structures reveal high steric hindrance around the metal atom (%Vbur up to 53.0) which is caused by their expanded-ring architecture.  相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structure, and biological activity of new bis‐cyclometalated compounds [M(ptpy)2(4‐chloro‐2‐methyl‐1,8‐naphthyridine)]PF6 [M = Rh ( 1 ); M = Ir ( 2 ); ptpy = 2‐(p‐tolyl)pyridinato] and [M(ptpy)2(2‐methyl‐1,8‐naphthyridine)]PF6 [M = Rh ( 3 ); M = Ir ( 4 )] are described. The new compounds were prepared by the reaction of [{M(μ‐Cl)(ptpy)2}2] (M = Rh, Ir) with the corresponding naphthyridine ligands. The molecular structures of compounds 1 , 3 , and 4 were confirmed by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies.  相似文献
