A planar perovskite solar cell that incorporates a nanocarbon hole‐extraction layer is demonstrated for the first time by an inkjet printing technique with a precisely controlled pattern and interface. By designing the carbon plus CH3NH3I ink to transform PbI2 in situ to CH3NH3PbI3, an interpenetrating seamless interface between the CH3NH3PbI3 active layer and the carbon hole‐extraction electrode was instantly constructed, with a markedly reduced charge recombination compared to that with the carbon ink alone. As a result, a considerably higher power conversion efficiency up to 11.60 % was delivered by the corresponding solar cell. This method provides a major step towards the fabrication of low‐cost, large‐scale, metal‐electrode‐free but still highly efficient perovskite solar cells.  相似文献

Mixed-dimensional perovskite engineering has been demonstrated as a simple and useful approach to achieving highly efficient and more-durable perovskite solar cells (PSCs), which have attracted increasing research interests worldwide. In this work, 1D/3D mixed-dimensional perovskite has been successfully obtained by introducing DMAI via a two-step deposition method. The additive DMA+ can facilitate the crystalline growth and form 1D DMAPbI3 at grain boundaries of 3D perovskite, leading to improved morphology, longer charge carrier lifetime, and remarkably reduced bulk trap density for perovskite films. Meanwhile, the presence of low-dimension perovskite is able to prevent the intrusion of moisture, resulting in enhanced long-term stability. As a result, the PSCs incorporated with 1D DMAPbI3 exhibited a first-class power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 21.43% and maintained 85% of their initial efficiency after storage under ambient conditions with ~45% RH for 1000 h.  相似文献

The interface defects and nickel vacancies of the NiOx lead to interface charge recombination, which limits its application in perovskite solar cells. Here, graphdiyne oxide(GDYO)was added to NiOx as an inorganic hole transporting material. It is found that the average carrier lifetime declined from 29.2 ns to 5.4 ns and the recombination resistance increased significantly after the GDYO adding determined by the time-resolved photoluminescence and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy analysis. We further demonstrated that the GDYO adding to NiOx effectively improved the charge extraction, accelerated the charge transportation and suppressed the charge recombination.Consequently, the optimized NiOx(GDYO)-based cell showed superior performance with a higher fill factor(81.99%)and improved stability with respect to the reference device. This method provides a new method for property regulation of NiOx in inverted planar MAPbl3 perovskite solar cells.  相似文献

Hybrid halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) giving over 22 % power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) have attracted considerable attention. Although perovskite plays a significant role in the operation of PSCs, the fundamental theories associated with perovskites have not been resolved in spite of the increase in research. In this Minireview, we assess the current understanding, based on the first‐principles calculations, of structural and electronic properties, defects, ionic diffusion, and shift current for CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite, and the effect of ionic transport on the hysteresis of current–voltage curves in PSCs. The shift current connected to the possible presence of ferroelectricity is also discussed. The current state‐of‐the‐art and some open questions regarding PSCs are also highlighted, and the benefits, challenges, and potentials of perovskite for use in PSCs are stressed.  相似文献

Carrier density and transport properties in the CH3NH3PbI3 thin film have been investigated. It is found that the carrier density, the depletion field, and the charge collection and transport properties in the CH3NH3PbI3 absorber film can be controlled effectively by different concentrations of reactants. That is, the carrier properties and the self‐doping characteristics in CH3NH3PbI3 films are strongly influenced by the reaction thermodynamic and kinetic processes. Furthermore, by employing mixed solvents with ethanol and isopropanol to deposit the CH3NH3PbI3 film, the charge collection and transport efficiencies are improved significantly, thereby yielding an overall enhanced cell performance.  相似文献

All-inorganic lead halide perovskites are promising candidates for optoelectronic applications. However, fundamental questions remain over the component interaction in the perovskite precursor solution due to the limitation of the most commonly used solvents of N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Here, we report an interaction tailoring strategy for all-inorganic CsPbI3−xBrx perovskites by involving the ionic liquid solvent methylammonium acetate (MAAc). C=O shows strong interaction with lead (Pb2+) and N−H⋅⋅⋅I hydrogen bond formation is observed. The interactions stabilize the perovskite precursor solution and allow production of the high-quality perovskite films by retarding the crystallization. Without the necessity for antisolvent treatment, the one-step air-processing approach delivers photovoltaic cells regardless of humidity, with a high efficiency of 17.10 % along with long operation stability over 1500 h under continuous light illumination.  相似文献

The effect of substitutional Li doping into NiOx hole transporting layer (HTL) for use in inverted perovskite solar cells was systematically studied. Li doped NiOx thin films with preferential crystal growth along the (111) plane were deposited using a simple solution-based process. Mott-Schottky analysis showed that hole carrier concentration (NA) is doubled by Li doping. Utilizing 4 % Li in NiOx improved the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of solar devices from 9.0 % to 12.6 %. Photoluminescence quenching investigations demonstrate better hole capturing properties of Li:NiOx compared to that of NiOx, leading to higher current densities by Li doping. The electrical conductivity of NiOx is improved by Li doping. Further improvements of the device were made by using an additional ZnO layer onto PCBM, to remove shunt paths, leading to a PCE of 14.2 % and a fill factor of 0.72.  相似文献

As a result of their attractive optoelectronic properties, metal halide APbI3 perovskites employing formamidinium (FA+) as the A cation are the focus of research. The superior chemical and thermal stability of FA+ cations makes α-FAPbI3 more suitable for solar-cell applications than methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3). However, its spontaneous conversion into the yellow non-perovskite phase (δ-FAPbI3) under ambient conditions poses a serious challenge for practical applications. Herein, we report on the stabilization of the desired α-FAPbI3 perovskite phase by protecting it with a two-dimensional (2D) IBA2FAPb2I7 (IBA=iso-butylammonium overlayer, formed via stepwise annealing. The α-FAPbI3/IBA2FAPb2I7 based perovskite solar cell (PSC) reached a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of close to 23 %. In addition, it showed excellent operational stability, retaining around 85 % of its initial efficiency under severe combined heat and light stress, that is, simultaneous exposure with maximum power tracking to full simulated sunlight at 80 °C over 500 h.  相似文献

Theoretical studies have shown that surface terminations, such as MAI or PbI layers, greatly affect the environmental stability of organic–inorganic perovskite. However, until now, there has been little effort to experimentally detect the existence of MAI or PbI terminations on MAPbI3 grains, let alone disclose their effects on the humidity degradation pathway of perovskite solar cell. Here, we successfully modified and detected the surface terminations of MAI and PbI species on polycrystalline MAPbI3 films. MAI-terminated perovskite film followed the moisture degradation process from MAPbI3 to hydrate MAPbI3⋅H2O and then into PbI2, with penetration of water molecules being the main driving force leading to the degradation of MAPbI3 layer by layer. In contrast, for the PbI-terminated perovskite film in a humid atmosphere, a deprotonation degradation pathway was confirmed, in which the film preferentially degraded directly from MAPbI3 into PbI2, here the iodine defects played a key role in promoting the dissociation of water molecules into OH and further catalyzing the decomposition of perovskite.  相似文献

A dichlorobenzene‐functionalized hole‐transporting material (HTM) is developed for a CH3NH3PbI3‐based perovskite solar cell. Notwithstanding the similarity of the frontier molecular orbital energy levels, optical properties, and hole mobility between the functionalized HTM [a polymer composed of 2′‐butyloctyl‐4,6‐dibromo‐3‐fluorothieno[3,4‐b]thiophene‐2‐carboxylate (TT‐BO), 3′,4′‐dichlorobenzyl‐4,6‐dibromo‐3‐fluorothieno[3,4‐b]thiophene‐2‐carboxylate (TT‐DCB), and 2,6‐bis(trimethyltin)‐4,8‐bis(2‐ethylhexyloxy)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene (BDT‐EH), denoted PTB‐DCB21] and the nonfunctionalized polymer [a polymer composed of thieno[3,4‐b]thiophene (TT) and benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene (BDT), denoted PTB‐BO], a higher power conversion efficiency for PTB‐DCB21 (8.7 %) than that for PTB‐BO (7.4 %) is achieved because of a higher photocurrent and voltage. The high efficiency is even obtained without including additives, such as lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide and/or 4‐tert‐butylpyridine, that are commonly used to improve the conductivity of the HTM. Transient photocurrent–voltage studies show that the PTB‐DCB21‐based device exhibits faster electron transport and slower charge recombination; this might be related to better interfacial contact through intermolecular chemical interactions between the perovskite and the 3,4‐dichlorobenzyl group in PTB‐DCB21.  相似文献

The crystallographic defects inevitably incur during the solution processed organic‐inorganic hybrid perovskite film, especially at surface and the grain boundaries (GBs) of perovskite film, which can further result in the reduced cell performance and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, a simple defect passivation method was employed by treating perovskite precursor film with a hydrophobic tetra‐ammonium zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc). The results demonstrated that a 2D‐3D graded perovskite interface with a capping layer of 2D (ZnPc)0.5MAn ? 1PbnI3n + 1 perovskite together with 3D MAPbI3 perovskite was successfully constructed on the top of 3D perovskite layer. This situation realized the efficient GBs passivation, thus reducing the defects in GBs. As expected, the corresponding PSCs with modified perovskite revealed an improved cell performance. The best efficiency reached 19.6%. Especially, the significantly enhanced long‐term stability of the responding PSCs against humidity and heating was remarkably achieved. Such a strategy in this work affords an efficient method to improve the stability of PSCs and thus probably brings the PSCs closer to practical commercialization.  相似文献

Perovskite solar cells have garnered and held international research interest, due to ever-climbing power conversion efficiency values, now >25 %. Some high efficiency configurations utilize a compact TiO2 layer underneath a mesoporous TiO2 layer, both of which require high temperature annealing steps that could hinder perovskite commercialization. To address the high thermal budget, we chose to use inkjet-printing to combine the two layers into a single TiO2 film, which incorporates both nanoparticle and molecular precursor as well as organic fullerene additives. We printed the ink on fluorine-doped tin oxide, and after annealing at various temperatures, we found that 400 °C was the optimum annealing temperature for the inkjet-printed electron transport layers, which is significantly lower than the 500 °C required to anneal typical mesoporous TiO2 films.  相似文献

Hybrid organic–inorganic lead halide perovskite APbX3 pigments, such as methylammonium lead iodide, have recently emerged as excellent light harvesters in solid‐state mesoscopic solar cells. An important target for the further improvement of the performance of perovskite‐based photovoltaics is to extend their optical‐absorption onset further into the red to enhance solar‐light harvesting. Herein, we show that this goal can be reached by using a mixture of formamidinium (HN=CHNH3+, FA) and methylammonium (CH3NH3+, MA) cations in the A position of the APbI3 perovskite structure. This combination leads to an enhanced short‐circuit current and thus superior devices to those based on only CH3NH3+. This concept has not been applied previously in perovskite‐based solar cells. It shows great potential as a versatile tool to tune the structural, electrical, and optoelectronic properties of the light‐harvesting materials.  相似文献

An experimental and theoretical investigation is reported to analyze the relation between the structural and absorption properties of CH3NH3PbI3 in the tetragonal phase. More than 3000 geometry optimizations were performed to reveal the structural disorder and identify structures with the lowest energies. The electronic structure calculations provide an averaged band gap of 1.674 eV, which is in excellent agreement with the experimental value of about 1.6 eV. The simulations of the absorption spectrum for three representative structures with lowest energy reproduced the absorption shoulders observed in the experimental spectra. These shoulders are assigned to excitations having similar orbital characters and involving transitions between hybridized 6s(Pb)/5p(I) orbitals and 6p(Pb) orbitals. The geometries of the three structures were analyzed and the effects of the inorganic frame and the CH3NH3+ cations on the absorption properties were estimated. It was found that both changes in the inorganic frame and the CH3NH3+ cations orientations impact the absorption spectra, by modifying the transitions energies and intensities. This highlights the role of CH3NH3+ cation in influencing the absorption properties of CH3NH3PbI3 and demonstrates that CH3NH3+ cation is one of the key elements explaining the broad and nearly constant absorption spectrum in the visible range.  相似文献

Mesoscopic perovskite solar cells using stable CH3NH3PbI2Br as a light absorber and low‐cost poly(3‐hexylthiophene) (P3HT) as hole‐transporting layer were fabricated, and a power conversion efficiency of 6.64 % was achieved. The partial substitution of iodine with bromine in the perovskite led to remarkably prolonged charge carrier lifetime. Meanwhile, the replacement of conventional thick spiro‐MeOTAD layer with a thin P3HT layer has significantly reduced the fabrication cost. The solar cells retained their photovoltaic performance well when they were exposed to air without any encapsulation, presenting a favorable stability. The combination of CH3NH3PbI2Br and P3HT may render a practical and cost‐effective solid‐state photovoltaic system. The superior stability of CH3NH3PbI2Br is also promising for other photoconversion applications.  相似文献

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are regarded as the next-generation thin-film energy harvester, owing to their high performance. However, there is a lack of studies on their encapsulation technology, which is critical for resolving their shortcomings, such as their degradation by oxygen and moisture. It is determined that the moisture intrusion and the heat trapped within the encapsulating cover glass of PSCs influenced the operating stability of the devices. Therefore, we improved the moisture and oxygen barrier ability and heat releasing capability in the passivation of PSCs by adding multi-walled carbon nanotubes to the epoxy resin used for encapsulation. The 0.5 wt% of carbon nanotube-added resin-based encapsulated PSCs exhibited a more stable operation with a ca. 30% efficiency decrease compared to the ca. 63% decrease in the reference devices over one week under continuous operation. Specifically, the short-circuit current density and the fill factor, which are affected by moisture and oxygen-driven degradation, as well as the open-circuit voltage, which is affected by thermal damage, were higher for the multi-walled carbon nanotube-added encapsulated devices than the control devices, after the stability test.  相似文献

Organic–inorganic halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have attracted much attention due to their rapid increase in power conversion efficiencies (PCEs), and many efforts are devoted to further improving the PCEs. Designing highly efficient hole transport materials (HTMs) for PSCs may be one of the effective ways. Herein we theoretically designed three new HTMs (FDT−N, FDT−O, and FDT−S) by introducing a nitrogen-phenyl group, an oxygen atom, and a sulfur atom into the spiro core of an experimentally synthesized HTM (FDT), respectively. And then we performed quantum chemical calculation to study their application potential. The results show that the devices with FDT−O and FDT−S instead of FDT may have higher open circuit voltages owing to their lower highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy levels. Moreover, FDT−S exhibits the best hole transport performance among the studied HTMs, which may be due to the significant HOMO-HOMO overlap in the hole hopping path with the largest transfer integral. Furthermore, the results on interface properties indicate that introducing oxygen and sulfur atoms can enhance the MAPbI3/HTM interface interaction. The present work not only offers two promising HTMs (FDT−O and FDT−S) for PSCs but also provides theoretical help for subsequent research on HTMs.  相似文献

Methylamine‐induced thin‐film transformation at room‐temperature is discovered, where a porous, rough, polycrystalline NH4PbI3 non‐perovskite thin film converts stepwise into a dense, ultrasmooth, textured CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite thin film. Owing to the beneficial phase/structural development of the thin film, its photovoltaic properties undergo dramatic enhancement during this NH4PbI3‐to‐CH3NH3PbI3 transformation process. The chemical origins of this transformation are studied at various length scales.  相似文献
