In Iwamoto-Harada model the whole phase space is full of fermions. When the momentum distributions of the exciton states are taken into account, the pre-formation probability of light composite particles could be improved, and the exciton state-dependent pre-formation probability has been proposed. The calculated results indicate that the consideration of the momentum distribution enhances the pre-formation probability of [1, m] configuration, and suppresses that of [ι 〉 1, m] configurations seriously.  相似文献

The probability of 5He particle emission has been affirmed theoretically [J.S. Zhang, Science in China G47 (2004) 137]. In order to describe the 5He emission, the theoretical formula of the double-differential cross section of emitted 5He is to be established. Based on the pick-up mechanism, used for calculating the formula of d, t, 3He, α emissions, the theoretical formula of double-differential cross section of 5He is obtained, which is expressed in the form of Legendre coefficients. In the case of low incident energies, the configuration [J.S. Zhang, Science in China G47 (2004) 137; J.S. Zhang, Commun. Theor. Phys. (Beijing, China) 39 (2003) 83] is the dominant part in the reaction processes. The calculated result indicates that the forward peaked angular distribution of the composite particle emission is weaker than that of the emitted single nucleon due to pick-up nucleon from the Fermi sea. As an example, the reactions of n+14N have been calculated, and the Legendre coefficients of d, t, 3He, α, 5He emissions are obtained respectively. The results show that the forward tendency is decided by the average momentum per nucleon in the emitted composite particles. The larger the average momentum is, the stronger the forward tendency is.  相似文献

The influence of pre-equilibrium emission on (n, p) reaction cross-sections at 14.8 MeV has been studied. Cross-sections for (n, p) reactions have been measured by the activation technique at 14.8 .1; 0.5 MeV neutron energy. The experimental cross-section values have been compared with the calculated values at 14.8 MeV with and without considering the pre-equilibrium emission. Equilibrium calculations have been performed according to the statistical model of Hauser and Feshbach while the hybrid model has been used to include the pre-equilibrium contribution. Pre-equilibrium emission has been considered only in the first emission step. The comparison of experimental and calculated values clearly indicates the presence of pre-equilibrium emission.  相似文献

There are some statistical model codes[1—4] as the evaluation tool that have been long and widely used to set up neutron data library below 20 MeV, which is the most important energy region in the application of nuclear engineering. The emitted particles considered in these codes mentioned above are neutrons, protons, as well as the compos-ite particles, such as deuterons, tritons, 3He and alpha particles. Consistent pre-equilibrium emission and statistical model calculations of fast neutron induced reaction cross sections are used to validate nuclear level densities for excitation energies up to 40 MeV in the mass regionA ?50. A “composed” level density approach has been employed by using the back-shifted Fermi gas model for excitation energies lower than 12 MeV and a realistic analytical formula for higher excitations. In the transition region from the BSFG model range to that of full applicability of the realistic formula, an interpolation between the predictions of the two models is adopted. The interpolation rule, suggested by microscopic level density calculations, has been validated through the comparison of the calculated and experimental cross sections.  相似文献

The differential cross-sections for the emission of M shell fluorescent X-rays from Th by 5·95 keV photons at eight angles ranging from 50° to 120° have been measured. The differential cross-section is found to decrease with increase in the emission angle showing anisotropic spatial distribution of M shell fluorescent X-rays. The present results contradict the predictions of the calculations of Cooper and Zare [1] that the atomic inner shell vacancy states produced in photoionization are not aligned but confirm those of Fluggeet al [2] and Scofield [3] that the vacancy states withJ > 1/2 are aligned. The integral M shell fluorescent emission cross sections have been determined from the measured angular distribution coefficients and compared with theoretical integral cross-sections calculated by using theoretical values of M subshell photoionization cross-sections, fluorescence yields and coster kronig transition probabilities available in literature. The experimental and theoretical values of integral crosssections show a reasonable agreement.  相似文献

The pre-equilibrium exciton model of the gamma emission is considered in its lowenergy limit. The basic ingredients of the picture are essentially the same as at more advanced energies; however, a straightforward reduction of the equations to simple formulae, what was the case of higher energies, does not take place here. The influence of the Pauli blocking principle is more significant for the low energies than for the standard energies. Anyway, the manifestation of the pre-equilibrium character in the calculated spectra is highly masked by the equilibrium component, so that one cannot clearly distinguish among the models used.  相似文献

The hybrid model for pre-equilibrium decay is used in the analyses of spectra from a survey of 4He and proton induced reactions at moderate energies. Results are excellent for 4He induced reactions and poor for proton-induced reactions. Possible interpretations of these observations are offered. The variation of the fraction of pre-equilibrium emission predicted by the hybrid model is given as a function of mass number, particle-hole number and excitation energy. Formulas are given for calculating intermediate state lifetimes and equilibration times within the model, and this result is compared with that of the exciton model.  相似文献

The cross sections of nuclear reactions involving emission of clusters of light nuclei in proton collisions with a heavy-metal target are computed for incident-proton energies between 30 MeV and 2.6 GeV. The calculation relies on the ALICE/ASH and CASCADE/INPE computer codes. The parameters determining the pre-equilibrium cluster emission are varied in the computation.  相似文献

The unstable nucleus5He emission has never been included in the widely used statistical model codes as the evaluation tool and interpretation experimental data. The calculated threshold energies of5He emission from light nuclei to heavy nuclei indicate that in most cases the compound nucleus induced by incident neutron would emit5He rather than3He. Since5He is unstable and can be separated into n+α spontaneously, so neutron is produced in5He emission process. The formulation of the double-differential cross section of the neutron from the two-body breakup process of emitted5He is established. Because of the strong recoil effect, the energy balance is strictly taken into account to meet the needs in nuclear engineering. Further improvement of the statistical model calculation codes on this respect is proposed. It is expected that the correlative measurement will be available to account the outgoing neutron and alpha particle simultaneously and to test and verify the existence of5He emission.  相似文献

We consider corrections to the impulse approximation calculation of the excitation function generated by muon capture in complex nuclei, in the form of captures on pairs of nucleons induced via meson-exchange currents. Within the Fermi gas model for the nucleus, these multinucleon captures are found to account for 4–8% of the experimental muon capture rates and to produce high excitation energies. The emission of pre-equilibrium protons with energies between 40 and 90 MeV is calculated for several nuclei using the hybrid exciton model. The agreement with experiment on emission spectra and rates is generally good. The emission of neutrons at these energies is also discussed.  相似文献

The stability of excited superheavy nuclei (SHN) with 100 Z 134 against neutron emission and fission is investigated by using a statistical model. In particular, a systematic study of the survival probability against fission in the 1n-channel of these SHN is made. The present calculations consistently take the neutron separation energies and shell correction energies from the calculated results of the finite range droplet model which predicts an island of stability of SHN around Z = 115 and N = 179. A concept of the quasi-composite system in the process of the pre-equilibrium emission is presented in this paper. On the basis of the principle of detailed balance, the existence of the factor, [γβω(πβ, 0,νβ, 0, E—U)/gπ,ν, has been proved with an account of the distinguishability between protons and neutrons. A formula for the rate of the complex particle emission in the pre-equilibrium process there by can be obtained. The theoretical calculation results fit the experimental data quite well, especially in the high energy part of the energy spectrum the agreement are much better than ever before.  相似文献

Previous TDHF calculations have shown that a pre-equilibrium emission of nucleons should be seen for asymmetric collisions of nuclei. Recent calculations indicate that the added effect of two-body collisions is to enhance this pre-equilibrium emission, it being seen also for symmetric collisions. More detailed calculations of this phenomenon are presenied here. The two-body collisions are treated by the time-relaxation method. This method is reviewed, and a revised formula for the relaxation time is introduced.Calculations are made in a slab geometry. For real nuclei, as much as 6% of all nucleons are estimated to be emitted at a beam energy of Ec.m. = 20 MeV/A. The energy distribution of the emitted nucleons relates to a temperature of 13 MeV at this energy. At 5 MeV/A, the emission is reduced to about 1 %.  相似文献

The stability of excited superheavy nuclei (SHN) with 100 ⩽ Z ⩽ 134 against neutron emission and fission is investigated by using a statistical model. It turns out that this island of stability persists for excited SHN in the sense that the calculated survival probabilities in the 1n-channel of excited SHN at the optimal excitation energy are maximized around Z = 115 and N = 179. This indicates that the survival probability in the 1n-channel is mainly determined by the nuclear shell effects.

The effects of pre-equilibrium emission and secondary decay on the determination of the freeze-out volume are investigated using the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model accompanied by the statistical decay model GEMINI. Small-mass projectiles and large-mass targets with central collisions are studied at intermediate energies. It is revealed that the proton yields of pre-equilibrium emission are smaller than those of secondary decay. However, the determination of the freeze-out volume from the proton yields is more easily affected by pre-equilibrium emission. Moreover, the percentage of proton yields in the freeze-out stage is found to be approximately 50%.

Rev.C 93,034316(2016);X.D.Sun et al.,Phys.Rev.C 95,014319(2017);X.D.Sun et al.,Phys. In the present work, the α decay half-lives are systematically studied within the two-potentialapproach for even-even nuclei, odd-A nuclei and odd-odd nuclei. To describe the deviations between experimental half-lives and calculated results due to the nuclear shell structure, α preformation factor and hindrance factor related with α cluster preformation probability are introduced. It is consistent with our previous works[X. D. Sun et al., Phys. Rev. C 93, 034316 (2016); X. D. Sun et al., Phys. Rev. C 95, 014319 (2017); X. D. Sun et al., Phys. Rev. C 95, 044303 (2017)]. Considering the shell effect on the preformation of α and by analyzing the experimental data of the α decay half-lives, the parameters of the α preformation factor/hindrance factor correction formula are obtained. we confirm that the shell effect and the proton-neutron correlation play key roles in the α preformation where the preformation probability near the shell is less than the preformation probability far from the shell.  相似文献
