An optimum composition range (29%≤x≤31%) of 〈001〉 oriented (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3(PMNT) crystals was ascertained for multilayer actuator applications, which exhibited high-strain and low-hysteresis behavior. A −1.5 kV/cm negative E-field can be applied to PMNT ferroelectric samples with low hysteresis. Forty layer actuators with individual element sizes of 7×7×0.7 mm3 were fabricated under identical processing conditions using two different materials: (1) single crystal PMNT and (2) commercial PZT-SF ceramics. Under free-load conditions, 48 μm displacements can been achieved in PMNT actuators at electric fields ranging from −1.5 to 10 kV/cm, which is more than twice the displacement of the PZT-SF actuators driven from −10 to 10 kV/cm. Under 4 kg loading, the displacements in PMNT stain actuators are decreased to 42.5 μm.  相似文献

通过研究(1_x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3_xPbTiO3(PMNT)单晶在不同方向、不同组分下高场致应变的特性,确定了〈001〉取向 PMNT单晶(29%≤x≤31%)为制作层叠式驱动器的最佳组分范围,这组分的单晶具有高场致应变、低滞后而且性能较稳定的特点.研究结果表明,在保证应变曲线的线性和低滞后的前提下,将近-2kV/cm的负电场能够运用于〈001〉方向的PMNT晶体上. 40层(每片晶片尺寸为7mm×7mm×0.7mm)PM 关键词: PMNT单晶 场致应变 PMNT驱动器  相似文献

The electrical properties and phase transition behavior of (Pb0.87La0.02Ba0.1)(Zr0.6Sn0.4−xTix)O3 solid solutions (PLBZST, 0.04≤x0.2) were investigated by the X-ray diffraction, permittivity, pyroelectric current, and P-E electric hysterisis loops. As the composition x increased from 0.04 to 0.2, the antiferroelectric ceramics (x≤0.07, AFE) with tetragonal phase changed to the ferroelectric relaxors (RFE, 0.09≤x). AFE ceramics showed a peculiar diffuse phase transition and dielectric relaxation at the low temperature (down to −100 °C) due to a frustration between AFE and FE state. With an increase in composition x, electrically field-induced AFE-FE switching field (EAFE-FE) and AFE-paraelectric (PE) phase transition temperature (Tc) are depressed in the temperature (T)-Ti composition (x) phase diagram, a FE-AFE-PE triple phase point (Ttr) with the lowest transition temperature occurred at x=0.09. The pyroelectric currents under an application of various external electric field (E) were measured to identify a T-E phase diagram of the PLBZST compound.  相似文献

The domain states and phase transitions in 0.67Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.33PbTiO3 single crystals were investigated by studying their relative permittivity under various dc bias at constant heating and cooling rates. The orientation dependence of the bias field effect was revealed by examining the temperature dependence of relative permittivity as a function of crystal orientation (the 〈111〉, 〈011〉 and 〈001〉 directions) and dc bias field. The crystals basically have a macrodomain rhombohedral ferroelectric state in the ferroelectric phase under zero dc bias. External bias field could modulate the domain state and induce a stable macrodomain state in the crystals. Also, it is proposed that the dc bias applied along the 〈001〉 or 〈011〉 direction could induce a tetragonal ferroelectric phase or an orthorhombic ferroelectric phase, respectively, in an intermediate temperature range.  相似文献

Sub-coercive field dynamic ferroelectric hysteresis of a morphotropic phase boundary composition of the PZT-PZN ceramic was investigated under influence of the compressive stress. The scaling relation of hysteresis area 〈A〉 against frequency f, field amplitude E0, and stress σ took a form of , which is not different significantly to that of other PZT-PZN compositions with pure tetragonal or rhombohedral structure, as well as to that of soft and hard PZT bulk ceramics. This study suggested that the domain structures, not ceramic compositions, played a key role in controlling dynamic hysteresis behavior of ferroelectric materials.  相似文献

Electric-field-induced strain behavior of differently oriented and componential (1-x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3xPbTiO3 (PMNT) crystals was investigated. An optimum composition range (29%≤x≤31%) of 〈001〉-oriented PMNT crystals was ascertained for multilayer actuator applications, which exhibited high-strain and low-hysteresis behavior. The rhombohedral (monoclinic)–tetragonal phase-transition behavior in PMNT single crystals is dependent on their thermal and electric history, which markedly impacts on the strain performance of the crystals. In contrast to PZT-SF (doped PZT ceramics) multilayer actuators, the strain values for 20-layer PMNT actuators with individual element sizes of 6×6×0.3 mm3 are larger by more than five times at 20 kV/cm (0.373% compared to 0.072%), and 23-μm displacements can been achieved. Magnetic properties of four sigma-phase Fe100−xVx samples with 34.4?x?55.1 were investigated by Mössbauer spectroscopy and magnetic measurements in the temperature interval 4.2-300 K. Four magnetic quantities, viz. hyperfine field, Curie temperature, magnetic moment and susceptibility, were determined. The sample containing 34.4 at% V was revealed to exhibit the largest values found up to now for the sigma-phase for average hyperfine field, 〈B〉=12.1 T, average magnetic moment per Fe atom, 〈μ〉=0.89 μB, and Curie temperature, TC=315.3 K. The quantities were shown to be strongly correlated with each other. In particular, TC is linearly correlated with 〈μ〉 with a slope of 406.5 K/μB, as well as 〈B〉 is so correlated with 〈μ〉, yielding 14.3 T/μB for the hyperfine coupling constant.  相似文献

The electric field induced strain, piezoelectric and electromechanical response in relaxor based single crystal piezoelectrics (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3xPbTiO3(PMNT100x) were investigated as a function of dc bias and temperature along the crystallographic [001] orientation. With increasing temperature and dc bias, monoclinic and rhombohedral phases were found to coexist in the crystals, exhibiting large strain hysteresis, while above a threshold temperature and dc bias, the induced monoclinic and tetragonal phases were found to show very low strain hysteresis. The electric field level for the monoclinic to tetragonal phase transformation was found to exponentially decay with temperature. The mechanical quality factor Q for the tetragonal phase exhibits higher values when compared to rhombohedral and monoclinic phases, displaying improved domain stability. The domain stability of tetragonal crystals as a function of sample thickness was also studied, it was found that a higher dc bias was needed for thinner tetragonal crystals in order to stabilize the single domain configuration and reduce the strain hysteresis.  相似文献

In this article, we report successful preparation of dense [(Na0.5K0.5)1−xSrx](Nb1−xTix)O3 (x=0.005-0.100) ceramics by ordinary sintering in air. The dependence of phase structure on doping content of SrO and TiO2 has been determined by the X-ray diffraction technique. It was found that the crystal structure changed from orthorhombic to tetragonal at x≈0.040. Dielectric study revealed that the dielectric relaxor behavior was induced by doping of SrO and TiO2 into (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3. The samples in the composition range from x=0.005 to 0.020 exhibited excellent electrical properties, piezoelectric constant of electromechanical planar and thickness coupling coefficients of kp=26.6-32.5% and kt=39.8-43.8%. The results show that the [(Na0.5K0.5)1−xSrx](Nb1−xTix)O3 ceramics are one of the promising lead-free materials for electromechanical transducer applications.  相似文献

Highly c-axis oriented neodymium-modified bismuth titanate (Bi4−xNdxTi3O12) films having a variety of neodymium (Nd) contents were successfully grown on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si(100) substrates using metal-organic sol decomposition. After systematically examining ferroelectric properties of the c-axis oriented Bi4−xNdxTi3O12 film capacitors as a function of the Nd-content, we concluded that the capacitor with x=0.85 had the largest remanent polarization. The Bi3.15Nd0.85Ti3O12 capacitor fabricated using a top Pt electrode showed well-saturated polarization-electric field (P-E) switching curves with the remanent polarization (Pr) of 51 μC/cm2 and the coercive field (Ec) of 99 kV/cm at an applied voltage of 10 V. More importantly, the Pt/Bi3.15Nd0.85Ti3O12/Pt capacitor exhibited fatigue-free behavior up to 4.5×1010 read/write switching cycles at a frequency of 1 MHz. The capacitor also demonstrated an excellent charge-retaining ability and a strong resistance against the imprinting failure.  相似文献

The Aurivillius type oxide Bi1.9Te0.1SrNb1.9Hf0.1O9 has been studied by Perturbed Angular Correlations spectroscopy using 181Ta probes. The spin precession curves were measured from room temperature up to 873 K. Two sites are occupied by probes and the temperature dependence of both indicates a continuous phase transition at about 625 K. One site is ordered while the other is disordered. This situation is analyzed in terms of simple models already applied to perovskites. The transition temperature of the solid solution Bi2−xTexSrNb2−xHfxO9 (with 0≤x≤0.5) shows a strong dependence on composition.  相似文献

Lead-free (K0.5Na0.5)0.90Li0.06Sr0.02Nb(1−x)SbxO3 (KNLSN-Sbx) ceramics were synthesized by ordinary sintering technique. The compositional dependence of phase structure and electrical properties of the ceramics was systematically investigated. All samples possessed pure perovskite structure, showing room temperature symmetries of orthorhombic at x<0.01, coexistence of orthorhombic and tetragonal phases at x=0.01, and tetragonal at 0.02≤x≤0.05. The temperature of the polymorphic phase transition (PPT) was shifted to lower temperature and dielectric relaxor behavior was induced by increasing Sb content. The samples near the coexistence region (x=0.01) exhibited enhanced electrical properties: d33∼145 pC/N, kp∼38% and Pr∼20.4 μC/cm2.  相似文献

The domain structures in (001) surface of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-40% PbTiO3 single crystals were investigated by piezoresponse force microscopy. Both micron-sized fingerprint 180° and parallel 90° domains were observed in the sample. Different sets of favourable {110} oriented domain patterns were found to meet, intersect or grow through each other. In addition, the piezoelectricity decreases sharply at the domain walls in 180° structures, but does not in the 90° domain structures.  相似文献

Europium substituted samples of the compositions Sr1−xEuxBi2Ta2O9 (x=0.0,0.025,0.050,0.10 and 0.20) were synthesized by solid state reaction method and studied for their structural, dielectric and ferroelectric properties. The X-ray diffractograms confirmed the formation of single phase layered perovskite structure in all the samples. The temperature variation of dielectric constant shows that the Curie temperature (Tc) decreases on increasing concentration of europium. The dielectric loss reduces significantly with europium addition. The P-E studies of the Eu-substituted SBT ceramics show that the remanent polarization increases with increasing concentration of europium.  相似文献

Using the standard solid-state reaction method, several vanadium-doped ferroelectric ceramics of type SrBi4−x/3Ti4−xVxO15 (SBTV-x) were synthesized. The vanadium doping content, x, ranges from 0.000 to 0.06. The crystal structure of SrBi4Ti4O15 is not affected by V-doping. The electric breakdown voltage of the samples increases with V content. Meanwhile, V-doping results in a notable enlargement of remnant polarization (2Pr). The 2Pr of STBV-0.03 reaches a very large value, which is over 50 μC/cm2 and is nearly twice greater than that at zero doping. The Curie temperatures of V-doped samples decrease slightly in comparison with that of SrBi4Ti4O15. V-doping can improve the electric properties of SrBi4Ti4O15 without sacrificing its thermal stableness.  相似文献

The samples with the Mn3+/Mn4+ ratio fixed at 2:1 La(2+x)/3Sr(1−x)/3Mn1−xCrxO3 (0≤x≤0.20) have been prepared. The magnetic, electrical transport, and magnetoresistance properties have been investigated. Remarkable transport and colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) effect, as well as cluster glass (CG) behaviors have been clearly observed in the samples studied. It was found that the Curie temperature Tc and insulator−metal transition temperature Tp1 are strongly affected by Cr substitution. The experiment observations are discussed by taking into account the variety of tolerance factors t; the effects of A-site radius 〈rA〉 and the A-site mismatch effect (σ2).  相似文献

In this paper, effects of lead doping on the lattice response and phase transitions of Sr1−xPbxBi2Nb2O9 (x=0.0-0.5 in steps of 0.1) ferroelectric ceramics are reported. It is observed that structure attains more tetragonality with doping of lead up to 40%. Increased orthorhombic distortion is observed for undoped SBN and 50 at.% lead substituted SBN. Phase transitions for all samples were studied using Curie temperature measurements and are explained in terms of lattice response of these ceramics. Sample with x=0.5 shows decreased tetragonal strain and Curie temperature. Relationship of polarization with lattice response is discussed.  相似文献

Highly oriented (100) thin films of LaVO3 and La1−xSrxVO3 have been fabricated by pulsed laser deposition in a reducing atmosphere. The films show a transition from insulating to metallic behaviour in the composition region of x, 0.175<x<0.200. In the single crystals of the antiferromagnetic insulating phase, a first-order structural phase transition is observed few degrees below the magnetic transition, which manifests itself as a kink in the temperature dependence of resistivity. In the highly oriented thin films of LaVO3 and La1−xSrxVO3 fabricated on lattice matched substrates in this study, the structural phase transformation in the insulating phase has been suppressed. The electrical conduction is found to take place via hopping through localized states at low temperatures. The metallic compositions show a non-linear (T1.5) behaviour in the temperature dependence of resistivity. V (2p) core level spectra of these films show a gradual change in the relative intensities of V3+ and V4+ ions as the value of x increases.  相似文献

We have studied the changes in the electronic structure and the superconducting transition temperature Tc of Mg(B1−xCx)2 alloys as a function of x with 0≤x≤0.3. Our density-functional-based approach uses the coherent-potential approximation to describe the effects of disorder, the Gaspari-Gyorffy formalism to estimate the electron-phonon matrix elements and the Allen-Dynes equation to calculate Tc in these alloys. We find that the changes in the electronic structure of Mg(B1−xCx)2 alloys, especially near the Fermi energy EF, come mainly from the outward movement of EF with increasing x, and the effects of disorder in the B plane are small. In particular, our results show a sharp decline in both B and C px(y) states for 0.2≤x≤0.3. Our calculated variation in Tc of Mg(B1−xCx)2 alloys is in qualitative agreement with the experiments.  相似文献
