Mono(dithiolene)sulfidomolybdenum(IV) complexes, [MoS(S4)(bdt)](2-) (2) and [MoS(S4)(bdtCl2)](2-) (3) (1,2-benzenedithiolate = bdt, 3,6-dichloro-1,2-benzenedithiolate = bdtCl2), were prepared by the substitution reaction of a tetrasulfido ligand in known [MoS(S4)2](2-) (1) with the corresponding dithiol. Complexes 2 and 3 were irreversibly oxidized to give bis(mu-sulfido) dimolybdenum(V) species, {[MoS(bdt)]2(mu-S)2}(2-) (4) and {[MoS(bdtCl2)]2(mu-S)2}(2-) (5), in aerobic acetonitrile. Mono(dithiolene)oxomolybdenum(IV) complexes, [MoO(S4)(bdt)](2-) (7) and [MoO(S4)(bdtCl2)](2-) (8), that are oxo derivatives of 2 and 3 were also synthesized from a known [MoO(S4)2](2-) (6) of an oxo derivative of 1 and the corresponding dithiol. Further, the electrophilic addition of dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate to 7 gave [MoO(bdt)(S2C2(COOMe)2)](2-) (9), and ligand substitution of the tetrasulfido group of 7 with bdt and bdtCl2 yielded [MoO(bdt)2](2-) ( 10) and [MoO(bdt)(bdtCl2)](2-) (11), respectively. New sulfido/oxo molybdenum complexes were characterized by (1)H NMR, IR, ESI-MS, Raman, and UV-vis spectroscopies; cyclic voltammetry; and elemental analysis, and crystal structures of 2, 3, 5, 7, and 8 were determined by X-ray analysis.  相似文献

The unprecedented nickel(III) thiolate [Ni (III)(OR)(P(C 6H 3-3-SiMe 3-2-S) 3)] (-) [R = Ph ( 1), Me ( 3)] containing the terminal Ni (III)-OR bond, characterized by UV-vis, electron paramagnetic resonance, cyclic voltammetry, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction, were isolated from the reaction of [Ni (III)(Cl)(P(C 6H 3-3-SiMe 3-2-S) 3)] (-) with 3 equiv of [Na][OPh] in tetrahydrofuran (THF)-CH 3CN and the reaction of complex 1 with 1 equiv of [Bu 4N][OMe] in THF-CH 3OH, respectively. Interestingly, the addition of complex 1 into the THF-CH 3OH solution of [Me 4N][OH] also yielded complex 3. In contrast to the inertness of complex [Ni (III)(Cl)(P(C 6H 3-3-SiMe 3-2-S) 3)] (-) toward 1 equiv of [Na][OPh], the addition of 1 equiv of [Na][OMe] into a THF-CH 3CN solution of [Ni (III)(Cl)(P(C 6H 3-3-SiMe 3-2-S) 3)] (-) yielded the known [Ni (III)(CH 2CN)(P(C 6H 3-3-SiMe 3-2-S) 3)] (-) ( 4). At 77 K, complexes 1 and 3 exhibit a rhombic signal with g values of 2.31, 2.09, and 2.00 and of 2.28, 2.04, and 2.00, respectively, the characteristic g values of the known trigonal-bipyramidal Ni (III) [Ni (III)(L)(P(C 6H 3-3-SiMe 3-2-S) 3)] (-) (L = SePh, SEt, Cl) complexes. Compared to complexes [Ni (III)(EPh)(P(C 6H 3-3-SiMe 3-2-S) 3)] (-) [E = S ( 2), Se] dominated by one intense absorption band at 592 and 590 nm, respectively, the electronic spectrum of complex 1 coordinated by the less electron-donating phenoxide ligand displays a red shift to 603 nm. In a comparison of the Ni (III)-OMe bond length of 1.885(2) A found in complex 3, the longer Ni (III)-OPh bond distance of 1.910(3) A found in complex 1 may be attributed to the absence of sigma and pi donation from the [OPh]-coordinated ligand to the Ni (III) center.  相似文献

The 16-electron half-sandwich complex [Cp*Ir[S2C2(B10H10)]] (Cp* = eta5-C5Me5) (1a) reacts with [[Rh(cod)(mu-Cl)]2] (cod = cycloocta-1,5-diene, C8H12) in different molar ratios to give three products, [[Cp*Ir[S2C2(B10H9)]]Rh(cod)] (2), trans-[[Cp*Ir[S2C2(B10H9)]]Rh[[S2C2(B10H10)]IrCp*]] (3), and [Rh2(cod)2[(mu-SH)(mu-SC)(CH)(B10H10)]] (4). Complex 3 contains an Ir2Rh backbone with two different Ir-Rh bonds (3.003(3) and 2.685(3) angstroms). The dinuclear complex 2 reacts with the mononuclear 16-electron complex 1a to give 3 in refluxing toluene. Reaction of 1a with [W(CO)3(py)3] (py = C5H5N) in the presence of BF3.EtO2 leads to the trinuclear cluster [[Cp*Ir[S2C2(B10H10)]]2W(CO)2] (5) together with [[Cp*Ir(CO)[S2C2(B10H10)]]W(CO)5] (6), and [Cp*Ir(CO)[S2C2(B10H10)]] (7). Analogous reactions of [Cp*Rh[S2C2(B10H10)]] (1 b) with [[Rh(cod)(mu-Cl)]2] were investigated and two complexes cis-[[Cp*Rh[S2C2(B10H10)]]2Rh] (8) and trans-[[Cp*Rh[S2C2(B10H10)]]2Rh] (9) were obtained. In refluxing THF solution, the cisoid 8 is converted in more than 95 % yield to the transoid 9. All new complexes 2-9 were characterized by NMR spectroscopy (1H, 11B NMR) and X-ray diffraction structural analyses are reported for complexes 2-5, 8, and 9.  相似文献

The synthesis and structures of two types of molecules are presented: [MVIO3 - nSn(OSiR2R')]1- (M = Mo, n = 0-3; M = W, n = 3) and [MVIO2(OSiR2R')(bdt)]1- (M = Mo, W; bdt = benzene-1,2-dithiolate). For both types, R2R' are Me3, Pri3, Ph3, Me2But and Ph2But. The complete series of oxo/sulfido/silyloxo molybdenum complexes has been prepared. Complexes with n = 0 are readily prepared by the silylation of Ag2MoO4 and sustain mono- or disulfidation with Ph3SiSH to form a species with n = 1 and n = 2, respectively. Complexes with n = 3 are accessible by the silylation of [MOS3]2-. Structures of the representative series members [MoO3(OSiPh2But)]1-, [MoO2S(OSiPh3)]1-, [MoOS2(OSiPri3)]1-, [MoS3(OSiPh2But)]1-, and also [WS3(OSiMe2But)]1-, all with tetrahedral stereochemistry, are presented. Benzene-1,2-dithiolate complexes are prepared by the reaction of [MoO3(OSiR2R')]1-with the dithiol or by the silylation of previously reported [MO3(bdt)]2-. The structures of [MoO2(OSiPh2But)(bdt)]1- and [WO2(OSiPri3)(bdt)]1- conform to square-pyramidal stereochemistry with an oxo ligand in the apical position. The role of these complexes in the preparation of site analogues of the xanthine oxidoreductase enzyme family is noted. The sulfidation reactions reported here point to the utility of Ph3SiSH and Pri3SiSH as reagents for MoVI-based oxo-for-sulfido conversions.  相似文献

The reactions of a Cu(II) salt, MoO(3), and the appropriate bipyridine ligand yield a series of bimetallic oxides, [Cu(3,4'-bpy)MoO(4)] (1), [Cu(3,3'-bpy)(0.5)MoO(4)] (2), and [Cu(4,4'-bpy)(0.5)MoO(4)].1.5H(2)O (3.1.5H(2)O). The structures of 1-3 exhibit three-dimensional covalent frameworks, constructed from bimetallic oxide layers tethered by the dipodal organoimine ligands. However, the [CuMoO(4)] networks are quite distinct. For structure 1, the layer consists of corner-sharing [MoO(4)] tetrehedra and [CuN(2)O(3)] square pyramids, while the layer of 2 is constructed from [MoO(4)] tetrehedra and binuclear [Cu(2)O(6)N(2)] units of edge-sharing copper square pyramids. The oxide substructure of 3 consists of [MoO(4)] tetrahedra corner-sharing with tetranuclear clusters of edge-sharing [CuO(5)N] octahedra. Crystal data: C(10)H(8)N(2)O(4)CuMo (1), orthorhombic Pbca, a = 12.4823(6) A, b = 9.1699(4) A, c = 19.5647(9) A, V = 2239.4(1) A(3), Z = 8; C(5)H(4)NO(4)CuMo (2), triclinic P, a = 5.439(1) A, b = 6.814(1) A, c = 10.727(2) A, alpha = 73.909(4)(o), beta = 78.839(4)(o); gamma = 70.389(4)(o); V = 357.6(1) A(3), Z = 2; C(10)H(8)N(2)O(8)Cu(2)Mo(2).3H(2)O 3.1.5H(2)O, triclinic P, a = 7.4273(7) A, b = 9.2314(8) A, c = 13.880(1) A, alpha = 71.411(2)(o), beta = 88.528(2)(o), gamma = 73.650(2)(o), V = 863.4(1) A(3), Z = 2. The magnetic properties of 1-3 arise solely from the presence of the Cu(II) sites, but reflect the structural differences within the bimetallic oxide layers. Compound 1 exhibits magnetic behavior consistent with ferromagnetic chains which couple antiferromagnetically at low temperature. Compound 2 exhibits strong antiferromagnetic dimeric interactions, with the magnetic susceptibility data consistent with the Bleaney-Bowers equation. Similarly, the magnetic susceptibility of 3 is dominated by antiferromagnetic interactions, which may be modeled as a linear S = 1/2 Heisenberg tetramer.  相似文献

Nine dinuclear copper(II) complexes with hxta5- ligands [H5hxta = N,N'-(2-hydroxy-1,3-xylylene)-bis-(N-carboxymethylglycine)]: [Cu2(MeO-hxtaH)(H2O)2] x 4H2O (1), [Na(micro-H2O)2(H2O)6][Cu2(Cl-hxta)(H2O)3]2 x 6H2O (2), [Cu(H2O)6][Cu2(Me-hxta)(H2O)2](NO3) x 2H2O (3), [Cu2(R-hxtaH)(H2O)3] x 3H2O [R = Cl (4), CH3 (5), and MeO (6)], [Cu2(MeO-hxtaH2)(micro-X)(CH3OH)] x 3CH3OH [X = Cl (7), Br (8)] and K5Na(micro-H2O)10[Cu2(micro-CO3)(Me-hxta)]2 x 4H2O (9), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. In complexes 4-7, the dinuclear units are linked via novel pairwise supramolecular interactions involving the ligand carboxylate groups. The intra- and intermolecular magnetic interactions have been quantified, and the coupling constants have been related to the structural geometries.  相似文献

Three malonato-bridged copper(II) complexes of the formulas [[Cu(H2O)3][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]]n (1), [[Cu(H2O)4]2[Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]] [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2][[Cu(H2O)4][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]] (2), and [Cu(H2O)4][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2] (3) (C3H2O4 = malonate dianion) have been prepared, and the structures of the two former have been solved by X-ray diffraction methods. The structure of compound 3 was already known. Complex 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pcab, Z = 8, with unit cell parameters of a = 10.339(1) A, b = 13.222(2) A, and c = 17.394(4) A. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/c, Z = 4, with unit cell parameters of a = 21.100(4) A, b = 21.088(4) A, c = 14.007(2) A, and beta = 115.93(2) degrees. Complex 1 is a chain compound with a regular alternation of aquabis(malonato)copper(II) and triaquacopper(II) units developing along the z axis. The aquabis(malonato)copper(II) unit acts as a bridging ligand through two slightly different trans-carboxylato groups exhibiting an anti-syn coordination mode. The four carboxylate oxygens, in the basal plane, and the one water molecule, in the apical position, describe a distorted square pyramid around Cu1, whereas the same metal surroundings are observed around Cu2 but with three water molecules and one carboxylate oxygen building the equatorial plane and a carboxylate oxygen from another malonato filling the apical site. Complex 2 is made up of discrete mono-, di-, and trinuclear copper(II) complexes of the formulas [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]2-, [[Cu(H2O)4] [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]], and [[Cu(H2O)4]2[Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]]2+, respectively, which coexist in a single crystal. The copper environment in the mononuclear unit is that of an elongated octahedron with four carboxylate oxygens building the equatorial plane and two water molecules assuming the axial positions. The neutral dinuclear unit contains two types of copper atoms, one that is six-coordinated, as in the mononuclear entity, and another that is distorted square pyramidal with four water molecules building the basal plane and a carboxylate oxygen in the apical position. The overall structure of this dinuclear entity is nearly identical to that of compound 3. Finally, the cationic trimer consists of an aquabis(malonato)copper(II) complex that acts as a bismonodentate ligand through two cis-carboxylato groups (anti-syn coordination mode) toward two tetraaqua-copper(II) terminal units. The environment of the copper atoms is distorted square pyramidal with four carboxylate oxygens (four water molecules) building the basal plane of the central (terminal) copper atom and a water molecule (a carboxylate oxygen) filling the axial position. The magnetic properties of 1-3 have been investigated in the temperature range 1.9-290 K. Overall, ferromagnetic behavior is observed in the three cases: two weak, alternating intrachain ferromagnetic interactions (J = 3.0 cm-1 and alpha J = 1.9 cm-1 with H = -J sigma i[S2i.S2i-1 + alpha S2i.S2i+1]) occur in 1, whereas the magnetic behavior of 2 is the sum of a magnetically isolated spin doublet and ferromagnetically coupled di- (J3 = 1.8 cm-1 from the magnetic study of the model complex 3) and trinuclear (J = 1.2 cm-1 with H = -J (S1.S2 + S1.S3) copper(II) units. The exchange pathway that accounts for the ferromagnetic coupling, through an anti-syn carboxylato bridge, is discussed in the light of the available magneto-structural data.  相似文献

The syntheses, molecular structures and properties of homoleptic 1,2-S(2)C(6)H(4) complexes of thallium(I) and thallium(III) with four-coordinated metal centers are described. Anaerobic treatment of TlCl, TlNO(3), or Tl(2)CO(3) with solutions of sodium methanolate and 1,2-(HS)(2)C(6)H(4) in methanol gave after metathesis with [NEt(4)]Br yellow solutions of [NEt(4)](2)[{Tl(1,2-(&mgr;-S)(2)C(6)H(4))}(2)] ([NEt(4)](2)1). Yellow single crystals were obtained from saturated acetone solutions at -10 degrees C and the crystal data for [NEt(4)](2)1 are monoclinic, P2(1)/c, with Z = 2, a = 7.440(1) ?, b = 16.373(3) ?, c = 13.201(2) ?, and beta = 97.08(1) degrees. Complex 1(2)(-)(), the first structurally characterized homoleptic ionic thiolate complex of thallium(I), contains rectangular bipyramidal [TlS(4)Tl] cages with the four sulfur atoms defining the equatorial plane and the two thallium atoms in axial positions. The S(2)C(6)H(4) fragments are almost coplanar with the S(4) plane. In the crystal lattice, nearly linear Tl.Tl chains align along the a-axis (offset ca. 3.0 degrees ) with the ligand planes parallel to the bc-plane. Within and between dimers short Tl.Tl distances are observed (Tl.Tl' within a dimeric unit, 3.5116(4) ?; Tl.Tl between dimeric units, 3.9371(3) ?) with the distance between dimeric units being the shortest contact between anions-Tl.S distances between dimeric units are longer than 5.8 ?. Aerobic treatment of TlCl, TlNO(3), or Tl(2)CO(3) with solutions of sodium methanolate and 1,2-(HS)(2)C(6)H(4) in methanol and metathesis with [NEt(4)]Br led to [NEt(4)][Tl(1,2-S(2)C(6)H(4))(2)] ([NEt(4)]2). Yellow single crystals were obtained from saturated acetone solutions at 0 degrees C and the crystal data for [NEt(4)]2 are orthorhombic, Pnn2, with Z = 2, a = 11.449(2) ?, b = 10.060(2) ?, c = 9.950(2) ?. Complex 2(-) is the first homoleptic four-coordinate thiolate of thallium(III) and contains the unusually short Tl-S distance of 2.469(4) ?. In solution, ion pairing results in chemical and magnetic inequivalence of the S(2)C(6)H(4) ligands. Although both preparations employ the reaction of thallium(I) salts with 1,2-(NaS)(2)C(6)H(4) in a 1:2 stoichiometry, complex 1(2)(-) is probably not an intermediate to the formation of 2(-). Exposing anaerobically prepared solutions of 1(2)(-) to air results in a series of color changes in the solution over a 20 min period; however, 2(-) could not be observed by NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

[Co3(1,2-S2C6H4)3(PPh3)3][CoBr3(DMF)].sol (1, sol=CHCl3,O(C2H5)2,H2O) was obtained from the reaction of CoBr(PPh3)3 with Na2(S2C6H4) in chloroform. The Co3 core in the cation of 1 exhibits a metal-metal bonded isosceles triangle, in which the two longer Co-Co bonds are both bridged by S2C6H4 ligands on two sides of the triangle plane respectively, while the bottom short Co-Co bond is bridged by the third bidentate S2C6H4 ligand. A series of polynu-clear cobalt cluster compounds with phosphine, thiolate and/or sulphur ligands were prepared by low oxidation state Co+ with thiolates in organic solvents. These tri-, tetra-, hexa-, heptanuclear cluster compounds 1-8 with various types of crystal structures can be viewed as the condensed polynuclear cobalt complexes that the cobalt atom frameworks with sulphur bridged were built through the small triangular units of [Co3S3nL3] (n=1,2) with or without [CoL] (L=PR3, Br, Cl, 5-C5H5) fragments.  相似文献

Novel molybdenum dithiolene compounds having neighboring amide groups as models for molybdoenzymes, (NEt(4))(2)[Mo(IV)O{1,2-S(2)-3,6-(RCONH)(2)C(6)H(2)}(2)] (R = CH(3), CF(3), t-Bu, Ph(3)C), were designed and synthesized. The contributions of the NH...S hydrogen bond to the electrochemical properties of the metal ion and the reactivity of the O-atom-transfer reaction were investigated by a comparison with [Mo(IV)O(1,2-S(2)C(6)H(4))(2)](2)(-). The MoOS(4) core of [Mo(IV)O{1,2-S(2)-3,6-(CH(3)CONH)(2)C(6)H(2)}(2)](2)(-) shows no significant geometrical difference from that of [Mo(IV)O(1,2-S(2)C(6)H(4))(2)](2)(-) in the crystal. The hydrogen bonds positively shifted the Mo(IV/V) redox potential and accelerated the reduction of Me(3)NO.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reaction between [S(2)MoS(2)Cu(SC(6)H(4)R-4)](2-)(R = MeO, H, Cl or NO(2)) and CN(-) to form [S(2)MoS(2)CuCN](2-) have been studied in MeCN using stopped-flow spectrophotometry. In all cases, the rate law is of the form, Rate ={k+k(2)(R)[CN(-)]}[S(2)MoS(2)Cu(SC(6)H(4)R-4)(2-)]. It is proposed that both k and k correspond to associative substitution mechanisms. The k pathway involves attack by CN(-) at the copper site followed by dissociation of the thiolate. The k pathway involves attack of the solvent (MeCN) at the copper site, followed by dissociation of the thiolate to form [S(2)MoS(2)Cu(NCMe)](-). Subsequent rapid substitution of the coordinated solvent by cyanide produces [S(2)MoS(2)CuCN](2-). The evidence that both the k and k pathways involve associative mechanisms are: (i) the 4-R-substituent on the thiolate ligand has a similar effect on both k and k, with electron-withdrawing 4-R-substituents facilitating substitution; (ii) both the k and k pathways are associated with similar activation parameters (for k(1)(H): DeltaH++ = 5.5 +/- 0.5 kcal mol(-1), DeltaS++ = -23.9 +/- 2.0 cal deg(-1) mol(-1); for k(2)(H): DeltaH++ = 2.3 +/- 0.5 kcal mol(-1), DeltaS++ = - 23.9 +/- 2.0 cal deg(-1) mol(-1)) and (iii) addition of C(6)H(5)S(-) results in a similar increase in both k and k.  相似文献

The shift of the IR nu(S)(-)(H) frequency to lower wavenumbers for the series of complexes [Ni(II)(L)(P-(o-C6H4S)2(o-C6H4SH))]0/1- (L = PPh3 (1), Cl (6), Se-p-C6H4-Cl (5), S-C4H3S (7), SePh (4)) indicates that a trend of increasing electronic donation of the L ligands coordinated to the Ni(II) center promotes intramolecular [Ni-S...H-S] interactions. Compared to the Ni...S(H) distance, in the range of 3.609-3.802 A in complexes 1 and 4-7, the Ni...S(CH3) distances of 2.540 and 2.914 A observed in the [Ni(II)(PPh3)(P(o-C6H4S)2(o-C6H4-SCH3))] complexes (8a and 8b, two conformational isomers with the chemical shift of the thioether methyl group at delta 1.820 (-60 degrees C) and 2.109 ppm (60 degrees C) (C4D8O)) and the Ni...S(CH3) distances of 3.258 and 3.229 A found in the [Ni(II)(L)(P(o-C6H4S)2(o-C6H4-SCH3))]1- complexes (L = SPh (9), SePh (10)) also support the idea that the pendant thiol protons of the Ni(II)-thiol complexes 1/4-7 were attracted by both the sulfur of thiolate and the nickel. The increased basicity (electronic density) of the nickel center regulated by the monodentate ligand attracted the proton of the pendant thiol effectively and caused the weaker S...H bond. In addition, the pendant thiol interaction modes in the solid state (complexes 1a and 1b, Scheme 1) may be controlled by the solvent of crystallization. Compared to complex 1a, the stronger intramolecular [Ni-S...H-S] interaction (or a combination of [Ni-S...H-S]/[Ni...H-S] interactions) found in complexes 4-7 led to the weaker S-H bond strength and accelerated the oxidation (by O2) of complexes 4-7 to produce the [Ni(Y)(L)(P(o-C6H4S)3)]1- (L = Se-p-C6H4-Cl (11), SePh (12), S-C4H3S (13)) complexes.  相似文献

The 16-electron half-sandwich rhodium complex [Cp*Rh{E2C2(B10H10)}] [Cp* = eta5-C5Me5, E = S (1a), Se (1b)] [Cp*Rh{E2C2(B10H10)} = eta5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl[1,2-dicarba-closo-dodecaborane(12)-dichalcogenolato]rhodium] reacted with Mo(CO)3(py)3 in the presence of BF3.Et2O in THF solution to afford the {Cp*Rh[E2C2(B10H10)]}2Mo(CO)2 (E = S (3a); Se (3b)), {Cp*Rh[S2C2(B10H10)]}{Mo(CO)2[S2C2(B10H10)]} (4). The voluminous di-tert-butyl substituted Cp half-sandwich rhodium complex [Cp'Rh{E2C2(B10H10)}] [E = S (2a), Se (2b)] [CpRh{E2C2(B10H10)} = eta5-(1,3-di(tert-butyl)cyclopentadienyl-[1,2-dicarba-closo-dodecaborane(12)-dichalcogenolato]rhodium) reacted with W(CO)3(py)3 in the presence of BF3.Et2O in THF solution to give the {Cp'Rh[S2C2(B10H10)]}{W(CO)2[S2C2(B10H10)]} (5) and {Cp'Rh[Se2C2(B10H10)]}(mu-CO)[W(CO)3] (6), respectively. The complexes have been fully characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy as well as by elemental analyses. The X-ray crystal structures of the complexes 3-6 are reported.  相似文献
