A series of sterically varied aryl alcohols H-OAr [OAr = OC6H5 (OPh), OC6H4(2-Me) (oMP), OC6H3(2,6-(Me))2 (DMP), OC6H4(2-Pr(i)) (oPP), OC6H3(2,6-(Pr(i)))2 (DIP), OC6H4(2-Bu(t)) (oBP), OC6H3(2,6-(Bu(t)))2 (DBP); Me = CH3, Pr(i) = CHMe2, and Bu(t) = CMe3] were reacted with LiN(SiMe3)2 in a Lewis basic solvent [tetrahydrofuran (THF) or pyridine (py)] to generate the appropriate "Li(OAr)(solv)x". In the presence of THF, the OPh derivative was previously identified as the hexagonal prismatic complex [Li(OPh)(THF)]6; however, the structure isolated from the above route proved to be the tetranuclear species [Li(OPh)(THF)]4 (1). The other "Li(OAr)(THF)x" products isolated were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as [Li(OAr)(THF)]4 [OAr = oMP (2), DMP (3), oPP (4)], [Li(DIP)(THF)]3 (5), [Li(oBP)(THF)2]2, (6), and [Li(DBP)(THF)]2, (7). The tetranuclear species (1-4) consist of symmetric cubes of alternating tetrahedral Li and pyramidal O atoms, with terminal THF solvent molecules bound to each metal center. The trinuclear species 5 consists of a six-membered ring of alternating trigonal planar Li and bridging O atoms, with one THF solvent molecule bound to each metal center. Compound 6 possesses two Li atoms that adopt tetrahedral geometries involving two bridging oBP and two terminal THF ligands. The structure of 7 was identical to the previously reported [Li(DBP)(THF)]2 species, but different unit cell parameters were observed. Compound 7 varies from 6 in that only one solvent molecule is bound to each Li metal center of 7 because of the steric bulk of the DBP ligand. In contrast to the structurally diverse THF adducts, when py was used as the solvent, the appropriate "Li(OAr)(py)x" complexes were isolated as [Li(OAr)(py)2]2 (OAr = OPh (8), oMP (9), DMP (10), oPP (11), DIP (12), oBP (13)) and [Li(DBP)(py)]2 (14). Compounds 8-13 adopt a dinuclear, edge-shared tetrahedral complex. For 14, because of the steric crowding of the DBP ligand, only one py is coordinated, yielding a dinuclear fused trigonal planar arrangement. Two additional structure types were also characterized for the DIP ligand: [Li(DIP)(H-DIP)(py)]2 (12b) and [Li2(DIP)2(py)3] (12c). Multinuclear (6,7Li and 13C) solid-state MAS NMR spectroscopic studies indicate that the bulk powder possesses several Li environments for "transitional ligands" of the THF complexes; however, the py adducts possess only one Li environment, which is consistent with the solid-state structures. Solution NMR studies indicate that "transitional" compounds of the THF precursors display multiple species in solution whereas the py adducts display only one lithium environment.  相似文献

The 2,2,2-crypt salts of the Tl4Se8(4-) and [Tl2Se4(2-)]infinity1 anions have been obtained by extraction of the ternary alloy NaTl0.5Se in ethylenediamine (en) in the presence of 2,2,2-crypt and 18-crown-6 followed by vapor-phase diffusion of THF into the en extract. The [2,2,2-crypt-Na]4[Tl4Se8].en crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, with Z = 2 and a = 14.768(3) angstroms, b = 16.635(3) angstroms, c = 21.254(4) angstroms, beta = 94.17(3) degrees at -123 degrees C, and the [2,2,2-crypt-Na]2[Tl2Se4]infinity1.en crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with Z = 4 and a = 14.246(2) angstroms, b = 14.360(3) angstroms, c = 26.673(8) angstroms, beta = 99.87(3) degrees at -123 degrees C. The TlIII anions, Tl2Se6(6-) and Tl3Se7(5-), and the mixed oxidation state TlI/TlIII anion, Tl3Se6(5-), have been obtained by extraction of NaTl0.5Se and NaTlSe in en, in the presence of 2,2,2-crypt and/or in liquid NH3, and have been characterized in solution by low-temperature 77Se, 203Tl, and 205Tl NMR spectroscopy. The 1J(203,205Tl-77Se) and 2J(203,205Tl-203,205Tl) couplings of the three anions have been used to arrive at their solution structures by detailed analyses and simulations of all spin multiplets that comprise the 205,203Tl NMR subspectra arising from natural abundance 205,203Tl and 77Se isotopomer distributions. The structure of Tl2Se6(6-) is based on a Tl2Se2 ring in which each thallium is bonded to two exo-selenium atoms so that these thalliums are four-coordinate and possess a formal oxidation state of +3. The Tl4Se8(4-) anion is formally derived from the Tl2Se6(6-) anion by coordination of each pair of terminal Se atoms to the TlIII atom of a TlSe+ cation. The structure of the [Tl2Se4(2-)]infinity1 anion is comprised of edge-sharing distorted TlSe4 tetrahedra that form infinite, one-dimensional [Tl2Se42-]infinity1 chains. The structures of Tl3Se6(5-) and Tl3Se7(5-) are derived from Tl4Se4-cubes in which one thallium atom has been removed and two and three exo-selenium atoms are bonded to thallium atoms, respectively, so that each is four-coordinate and possesses a formal oxidation state of +3 with the remaining three-coordinate thallium atom in the +1 oxidation state. Quantum mechanical calculations at the MP2 level of theory show that the Tl2Se6(6-), Tl3Se6(5-), Tl3Se7(5-), and Tl4Se8(4-) anions exhibit true minima and display geometries that are in agreement with their experimental structures. Natural bond orbital and electron localization function analyses were utilized in describing the bonding in the present and previously published Tl/Se anions, and showed that the Tl2Se6(6-), Tl3Se6(5-), Tl3Se7(5-), and Tl4Se8(4-) anions are electron-precise rings and cages.  相似文献

This report investigates the structural aspects of the products isolated from the reactions of a series of titanium alkoxides [[Ti(OR)4]n n = 2, OR = OCH2C(CH3)3 (ONep) (1); n = 1, OC6H3(CH3)2-2,6 (DMP) (2)] with rubidium alkoxides [[Rb(OR)]infinity where OR = (ONep) (3), (DMP) (4), and OC6H3(CH(CH3)2)2-2,6 (DIP) (5)]. The resultant double alkoxides were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction to be [Rb(mu-ONep)4(py)Ti(ONep)]2 (6), [Rb(mu-DMP)Ti(DMP)4]infinity (7), and [Rb(mu-DMP)2(mu-ONep)2Ti(ONep)]infinity (8). Compound 1 is the previously reported dinculear species with trigonal bipyramidal Ti metal centers whereas compound 2 is a monomer with a tetrahedral Ti center. Suitable X-ray quality crystals of 3 were not isolated. Compounds 4 and 5 demonstrate extended polymeric networks with Rb coordination ranging from two to five utilizing terminal mu- and mu3-OR ligands and pi-interactions of neighboring OAr ligands. The double alkoxide 6 revealed a simple tetranuclear structure with mu-ONep acting as the bridge, terminal ONep ligands on the Ti, and one terminal py on the Rb. For 7 and 8, the pi-interaction facilitated the formation of extended polymeric systems. All complexes were further characterized by FT-IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Reaction of 2,6-diphenylphenol (HOC(6)H(3)Ph(2)-2,6) with (n)BuLi, NaH, KH, or Rb or Cs metal in benzene gives the solvent-free complexes [M(OAr)]x in excellent yield. The complex [Rb(OC(6)H(3)Ph(2)-2,6)](x)() exhibits a ladderlike structure in the solid state with triply bridging oxygen atoms and Rb-O distances of 2.743(3), 2.930(2), and 2.973(2) A. The Rb cations interact with the pi-electron cloud of the arene moieties, giving rise to a high Rb coordination number. The cesium-containing congener forms a layered, columnlike structure consisting of [Cs(2)(mu(2)-OAr)(2)] units, with nearly identical Cs-O distances of 2.945(2) and 2.947(2) A. The individual layers are held together solely by Cs-arene pi-interactions.  相似文献

The title compound [2,6-Mes(2)C(2)H(3)](2)Ga(+)Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)](2)(-), 1, containing a linear two-coordinate gallium cation, has been obtained by metathesis reaction of [2,6-Mes(2)C(2)H(3)](2)GaCl with 2 equiv of Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)] in C(6)H(5)Cl solution at room temperature. Compound 1 has been characterized by (1)H, (13)C((1)H), (19)F, and (27)Al NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. Compound 1 consists of isolated [2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)](2)Ga(+) cations and Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)](2)(-) anions. The C-Ga-C angle is 175.69(7) degrees, and the Ga-C distances are 1.9130(14) and 1.9145(16) A. The title compound is remarkably stable, is only a weak Lewis acid, and polymerizes cyclohexene oxide.  相似文献

Deprotonation of mixtures of the triazene complexes [RhCl(CO)2(p-MeC6H4NNNHC6H4Me-p)] and [PdCl(eta(3)-C3H5)(p-MeC6H4NNNHC6H4Me-p)] or [PdCl2(PPh3)(p-MeC6H4NNNHC6H4Me-p)] with NEt3 gives the structurally characterised heterobinuclear triazenide-bridged species [(OC)2Rh(mu-p-MeC6H4NNNC6H4Me-p)2PdLL'] {LL' = eta(3)-C3H5 1 or Cl(PPh3) 2} which, in the presence of Me3NO, react with [NBu(n)4]I, [NBu(n)4]Br, [PPN]Cl or [NBu(n)4]NCS to give [(OC)XRh(mu-p-MeC6H4NNNC6H4Me-p)2PdCl(PPh3)]- (X = I 3-, Br 4-, Cl 5- or NCS 6-) and [NBu(n)4][(OC)XRh(mu-p-MeC6H4NNNC6H4Me-p)2Pd(eta(3)-C3H5)], (X = I 7- or Br 8-). The allyl complexes 7- and 8- undergo one-electron oxidation to the corresponding unstable neutral complexes 7 and 8 but, in the presence of the appropriate halide, oxidative substitution results in the stable paramagnetic complexes [NBu(n)4][X2Rh(mu-p-MeC6H4NNNC6H4Me-p)2Pd(eta(3)-C3H5)], (X = I 9- or Br 10-). X-Ray structural (9-), DFT and EPR spectroscopic studies are consistent with the unpaired electron of 9- and 10- localised primarily on the Rh(II) centre of the [RhPd]4+ core, which is susceptible to oxygen coordination at low temperature to give Rh(III)-bound superoxide.  相似文献

The chemical interconversions observed for a novel family of trihydroxymethyl ethane (THME-H(3)) ligated Sn(II) compounds have been determined using single-crystal X-ray and (119)Sn NMR experiments. (mu-THME)(2)Sn(3) (1) was isolated from the reaction of 3 equiv of [Sn(NR(2))(2)](2) (R = SiMe(3)) with 4 equiv of THME as a unique trinuclear species capped above and below the plane of Sn atoms by two THME ligands. Upon reaction with "Sn(NR(2))(2)", compound 1 rearranged to yield another novel molecule [(mu-THME)Sn(2)(NR(2))](2) (2). Compound 2 could also be formed directly from the stoichiometric mixture of THME-H(3) and [Sn(NR(2))(2)](2). Further studies revealed that 1 would also rearrange in the presence of Sn(OR)(2) to form [(mu-THME)Sn(2)(mu-OR)](2) [OR = OMe (3), OCH(2)Me (4), OCH(2)CH(Me)CH(2)CH(3) (5), OCH(2)CMe(3) (6, ONep), OC(6)H(5) (7, not structurally characterized), OC(6)H(4)Me-3 (8), OC(6)H(4)Me-2 (9), OC(6)H(3)(Me)(2)-2,6 (10), OC(6)H(3)(CHMe(2))(2)-2,6 (11). Additionally, 3-11 could by synthesized from the reaction of 2 and the appropriate H-OR. (119)Sn solution NMR studies of 2-11, in THF-d(8), indicate that an equilibrium between the parent complex and its disassociation products (1 and the free parent Sn alkoxy or amide precursor) exists at room temperature. This is a likely reason behind the ease of interconversion observed for 1. The generality of this exchange was further verified through the reaction of 1 with [Ti(mu-ONep)(ONep)(3)](2), which led to the isolation of (mu-ONep)(2)Sn(3)(mu-THME)(2)Ti(ONep)(2) (12). For 12, the solid-state structure was maintained in solution with no indication of an equilibrium.  相似文献

Novel yttrium chelating diamide complexes [(Y[ArN(CH(2))(x)NAr](Z)(THF)(n))(y)] (Z = I, CH(SiMe(3))(2), CH(2)Ph, H, N(SiMe(3))(2), OC(6)H(3)-2,6-(t)Bu(2)-4-Me; x = 2, 3; n = 1 or 2; y = 1 or 2) were made via salt metathesis of the potassium diamides (x = 3 (3), x = 2 (4)) and yttrium triiodide in THF (5,10), followed by salt metathesis with the appropriate potassium salt (6-9, 11-13, 15) and further reaction with molecular hydrogen (14). 6 and 11(Z = CH(SiMe(3))(2), x = 2, 3) underwent unprecedented exchange of yttrium for silicon on reaction with phenylsilane to yield (Si[ArN(CH(2))(x)NAr]PhH) (x = 2 (16), 3) and (Si[CH(SiMe(3))(2)]PhH(2)).  相似文献

Two series of homoleptic phenolate complexes with fluorinated aryloxide ligands A2[M(OAr)4] with M=Co2+ or Cu2+, OAr-=(OC6F5)- (OArF) or [3,5-OC6H3(CF3)2]- (OAr'), A+=K (18-crown-6)+, Tl+, Ph4P+, Et3HN+, or Me4N+ have been synthesized. Two related complexes with nonfluorinated phenoxide ligands have been synthesized and studied in comparison to the fluorinated aryloxides demonstrating the dramatic structural changes effected by modification of OPh to OAr(F). The compounds [K(18-crown-6)]2[Cu(OArF)4], 1a; [K(18-crown-6)]2[Cu(OAr')4], 1b; [Tl2Cu(OArF)4], 2a; [Tl2Cu(OAr')4], 2b; (Ph4P)2[Cu(OArF)4], 3; (nBu4N)2[Cu(OArF)4], 4; (HEt3N)2[Cu(OArF)4], 5; [K(18-crown-6)]2[Cu2(mu2-OC6H5)2(OC6H5)4], 6; [K(18-crown-6)]2[Co(OArF)4], 7a; [(18-crown-6)]2[Co(OAr')4], 7b; [Tl2Co(OArF)4], 8a; [Tl2Co(OAr')4], 8b; (Me4N)2[Co(OArF)4], 9; [Cp2Co]2[Co(OAr')4], 10; and [(18-crown-6)])[Co2(mu2-OC6H5)2(OC6H5)4], 11, have been characterized with UV-vis and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and solution magnetic moment studies. Cyclic voltammetry was used to study 1a, 1b, 7a, and 7b. X-ray crystallography was used to characterize 1b, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7a, 7b, 10, and 11. The related [MX4]2- compound (Ph4P)2[Co(OArF)2Cl2], 12, has also been synthesized and characterized spectroscopically, as well as with conductivity and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Use of fluorinated aryloxides permits synthesis and isolation of the mononuclear, homoleptic phenolate anions in good yield without oligomerized side products. The reaction conditions that result in homoleptic 1a and 7a with OArF upon changing the ligand to OPh result in mu2-OPh bridging phenoxides and the dimeric complexes 6 and 11. The [M(OArF)4]2- and [M(OAr')4]2- anions in 1a, 1b, 3, 4, 5, 7a, 7b, 9, and 10 demonstrate that stable, isolable homoleptic phenolate anions do not need to be coordinatively or sterically saturated and can be achieved by increasing the electronegativity of the ligand.  相似文献

NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)] 1 and NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] 2 were obtained by the metathesis reaction of NO[SbF(6)] and the corresponding Li[Al(OR)(4)] salts in liquid sulfur dioxide solution in ca 40% (1) and 85% (2) isolated yield. 1 and 2, as well as Li[NO(3)] and N(2)O, were also given by the reaction of an excess of mixture of (90 mol%) NO, (10 mol%) NO(2) with Li[Al(OR)(4)] followed by extraction with SO(2). The unfavourable disproportionation reaction of 2NO(2)(g) to [NO](+)(g) and [NO(3)](-)(g)[DeltaH degrees = +616.2 kJ mol(-1)] is more than compensated by the disproportionation energy of 3NO(g) to N(2)O(g) and NO(2)(g)[DeltaH degrees =-155.4 kJ mol(-1)] and the lattice energy of Li[NO(3)](s)[U(POT)= 862 kJ mol(-1)]. Evidence is presented that the reaction proceeds via a complex of [Li](+) with NO, NO(2)(or their dimers) and N(2)O. NO(2) and Li[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] gave [NO(3)(NO)(3)][Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)](2), NO[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] and (NO(2))[Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)] products. The aluminium complex [Li[AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)]](2) 3 was prepared by the thermal decomposition of Li[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)]. Compounds 1 and 3 were characterized by single crystal X-ray structural analyses, 1-3 by elemental analyses, NMR, IR, Raman and mass spectra. Solid 1 contains [Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and [NO](+) weakly linked via donor acceptor interactions, while in the SO(2) solution there is an equilibrium between the associated [NO](+)[Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and separated solvated ions. Solid 2 contains essentially ionic [NO](+) and [Al(OC(CF(3))(3))(4)](-). Complex 3 consists of two [Li[AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)]] units linked via fluorine lithium contacts. Compound 1 is unstable in the SO(2) solution and decomposes to yield [AlF(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)](-), [(PhC(CF(3))(2)O)(3)Al(mu-F)Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(3)](-) anions as well as (NO)C(6)H(4)C(CF(3))(2)OH, while compound 2 is stable in liquid SO(2). The [small nu](NO(+)) in 1 and [NO](+)(toluene)[SbCl(6)] are similar, implying similar basicities of [Al(OC(CF(3))(2)Ph)(4)](-) and toluene.  相似文献

A series of sterically varied titanium alkoxides [[Ti(OR)(4)](n)(), n = 4, OR = OCH(2)CH(3) (OEt); n = 1, OCH(CH(3))(2) (OPr(i)); n = 2, OCH(2)C(CH(3))(3) (ONep); n = 1, OC(6)H(3)(CH(3))(2)-2,6 (DMP)] were reacted with a series of thallium alkoxides [[Tl(OR)](x) (x = 4, OR = OEt, ONep; n = infinity, DMP)]. The resultant products of the [Tl(mu(3)-OEt)](4)-modified [Ti(OR)(4)](n)() (OR = OEt, OPr(i), ONep) were found by X-ray analysis to be Tl(4)Ti(2)(mu-O)(mu(3)-OEt)(8)(OEt)(2) (1), Tl(4)Ti(2)(mu-O)(mu(3)-OPr(i))(5)(mu(3)-OEt)(3)(OEt)(2) (2), and TlTi(2)(mu(3)-OEt)(2)(mu-OEt)(mu-ONep)(2)(ONep)(4) (3), respectively. The reaction of [Tl(mu(3)-OEt)](4), 12HOEt, and 4[Ti(mu-ONep)ONep)(3)](2) to generate 3 in a higher yield resulted in the isolation of TlTi(2)(mu(3)-OEt)(mu(3)-ONep)(mu-OEt)(mu-ONep)(2)(ONep)(4) (4). Compounds 1 and 2 possess an octahedral (Oh) arrangement of two Ti and four Tl metal atoms around a mu-O central oxide atom (the Tl-O distance is too long to be considered a bond). For both compounds, each Ti atom adopts a distorted Oh geometry with one terminal OEt ligand. The Tl atoms are formally 4-coordinated, adopting a distorted pyramidal geometry using four mu(3)-OR (OR = OEt or OPr(i)) ligands to complete their coordination sphere. The Tl atoms reside approximately 1.4 A below the basal plane of oxygens. In contrast to these structures, both 3 and 4 utilize ONep ligands and display reduced oligomerization yielding trinuclear complexes without oxo formation. The two Ti cations are Oh, and the single Tl cation is in a formal distorted pyramidal (PYD) arrangement. If the lone pair of the Tl cations are considered in the geometry, each Tl adopts a square base pyramidal geometry. Two terminal ONep ligands are bound to each Ti with the remainder of the molecule consisting of mu(3)- and mu-ONep ligands. The reaction of [Tl(mu(3)-ONep)](4) with two equivalents of [Ti(mu-ONep)(ONep)(3)](2) also led to the isolation of the homoleptic trinuclear complex TlTi(2)(mu(3)-ONep)(2)(mu-ONep)(3)(ONep)(4) (5) which is analogous in structure to the mixed ligand species of 3 and 4. Each Ti is Oh coordinated with six ONep ligands, and the single Tl is PYD bound by ONep ligands. A further increase in the steric bulk of the pendant ligands, using [Tl(mu-DMP)](infinity) and [Ti(mu-ONep)(ONep)(3)](2), resulted in a further decrease in the nuclearity yielding the dinuclear species TlTi(mu-DMP)(mu-ONep)(DMP)(ONep)(2) (6). For 6, the two metals are bound by a mu-ONep and a mu-DMP ligand. The Tl metal center was solved in a bent geometry while the Ti adopted a distorted trigonal bipyramidal (TBP) geometry using three ONep and two DMP ligands to fill its coordination sphere. Further increasing the steric bulk of the ancillary ligands using Ti(DMP)(4) and [Tl(mu-DMP)](infinity) led to the formation of [Tl(+)][(-)(eta(2-3)-DMP)Ti(DMP)(4)] (7). The Ti metal center is in a TBP geometry, and the "naked" Tl cation resides unencumbered by solvent molecules but was found to have a strong pi-interaction with four DMP ligands of neighboring Ti(DMP)(5)(-) anions. For this novel set of compounds, (205)Tl NMR spectroscopy was used to investigate the solution behavior of these compounds. Multiple (205)Tl resonances were observed for the solution spectra of the crystalline material of 1-6, and a broad singlet was observed for 7. The large number of minor resonances noted for these compounds was attributed to sensitivity of the Tl cation based on small variations due to ligand rearrangement. However, the major resonance noted in the (205)Tl NMR solution spectra of 1-7 are in agreement with their respective solid-state structures.  相似文献

The reaction of the dicarbaphosphazene, [NC(NMe(2))](2)[NPCl(2)] (2), with the sodium salt of 4-hydroxy-4'-vinylbiphenyl afforded the vinyl group containing monomer [NC(NMe(2))](2)[NP(Cl)(O-C(6)H(4)-p-C(6)H(4)-p-CH=CH(2))] (3). Replacement of the lone chlorine atom of 3 by oxygen nucleophiles gave [NC(NMe(2))](2)[NP(OR)(O-C(6)H(4)-p-C(6)H(4)-p-CH=CH(2))] [R = CH(2)CF(3) (4); C(6)H(5) (5); C(6)H(4)-m-CH(3) (6); C(6)H(4)-p-Br(7)]. The X-ray crystal structures of 3-7 reveal that all the cyclodicarbaphosphazenes have a planar N(3)PC(2) ring; the ring carbons are completely planar, while the geometry around phosphorus is pseudotetrahedral. The presence of weak intermolecular hydrogen bonding [C-H---X(Cl or Br), C-H---N, or C-H---pi] interactions in 3-7 leads to the formation of polymeric architectures in the solid-state. The monomers 4-7 can be polymerized by a free-radical initiator to afford the corresponding air-stable homopolymers 8-11. These have moderate molecular weights with polydispersity indices ranging from 1.33 to 1.58. All of these polymers have high glass transition temperatures and have excellent thermal stability.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of a family of alternative precursors for the production of CdE nanoparticles (E = S, Se, and Te) is reported. The reaction of Cd(NR2)2 where NR2 = N(SiMe3)2 with n HOR led to the isolation of the following: n = 1 [Cd(mu-OCH2CMe3)(NR2)(py)]2 (1, py = pyridine), Cd[(mu-OC6H3(Me)(2)-2,6)2Cd(NR2)(py)]2 (2), [Cd(mu-OC6H3(CHMe2)(2)-2,6)(NR2)(py)]2 (3), [Cd(mu-OC6H3(CMe3)(2)-2,6)(NR2)(py)]2 (4), [Cd(mu-OC6H2(NH2)(3)-2,4,6)(NR2)(py)]2 (5), and n = 2 [Cd(mu-OC6H3(Me)(2)-2,6)(OC6H3(Me)(2)-2,6)(py)2]2 (6), and [Cd(mu-OC6H3(CMe3)(2)-2,6)(OC6H3(CMe3)(2)-2,6)(THF)]2 (7). For all but 2, the X-ray crystal structures were solved as discrete dinuclear units bridged by alkoxide ligands and either terminal -NR2 or -OR ligands depending on the stoichiometry of the initial reaction. For 2, a trinuclear species was isolated using four mu-OR and two terminal -NR2 ligands. The coordination of the Cd metal center varied from 3 to 5 where the higher coordination numbers were achieved by binding Lewis basic solvents for the less sterically demanding ligands. These complexes were further characterized in solution by 1H, 13C, and 113Cd NMR along with solid-state 113Cd NMR spectroscopy. The utility of these complexes as "alternative precursors" for the controlled preparation of nanocrystalline CdS, CdSe, and CdTe was explored. To synthesize CdE nanocrystals, select species from this family of compounds were individually heated in a coordinating solvent (trioctylphosphine oxide) and then injected with the appropriate chalcogenide stock solution. Transmission electron spectroscopy and UV-vis spectroscopy were used to characterize the resultant particles.  相似文献

The reaction of the recently reported sterically encumbered terphenyl tin(II) halide species Sn(Cl)C6H3-2,6-Trip2 (Trip = C6H2-2,4,6-i-Pr3), 1, with 1 equiv of MeLi or MeMgBr afforded 2,6-Trip2H3C6Sn-Sn(Me)2C6H3-2,6-Trip2, 2, which is the first stable group 14 element methylmethylene (i.e., CH3CH) analogue of ethylene (H2CCH2). Reaction of 1 with 1.5 equiv of MeLi yielded the stannylstannate species 2,6-Trip2H3C6(Me)2Sn-Sn(Li)(Me)-C6H3-2,6-Trip2, 3, whereas reaction of 1 with 1 equiv of t-BuLi gave the heteroleptic stannanediyl monomer Sn(t-Bu)C6H3-2,6-Trip2 (4). The compounds 2-4 were characterized by 1H, 13C (7Li, 3 only), and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy in solution and by UV-vis spectroscopy. The X-ray crystal structures of 2-4 were also determined. The formation of the stannylstannanediyl 2 instead of the expected symmetrical, valence isomer "distannene" form (Sn(Me)C6H3-2,6-Trip2)2, 6, is explained through the ready formation of LiSn(Me)2C6H3-2,6-Trip2, 5, which reacts rapidly with 1 to produce 2 which can then react with a further equivalent of MeLi to give 3. The stability of singly bonded 2 in relation to the formally doubly bonded 6 was rationalized on the basis of the difference in the strength of their tin-tin bonds. In contrast to the methyl derivatives, the reaction of 1 with t-BuLi proceeded smoothly to give the monomeric compound 4. Apparently, the formation of a t-Bu analogue of 5 was prevented by the more crowding t-Bu group. Compound 2 is also the first example of a stable molecule with bonding between a two-coordinate, bivalent tin and four-coordinate tetravalent tin. Both compounds 2 and 3 display large J 119Sn-119Sn couplings between their tin nuclei and the tin-tin bond lengths in 2 (2.8909(2) A) and 3 (2.8508(4) A) are relatively normal despite the presence of the sterically crowding terphenyl substituents.  相似文献

A series of bis(aryl) bismuth compounds containing (N,C,N)-pincer ligands, [2,6-(Me(2)NCH(2))(2)C(6)H(3)](-) (Ar'), have been synthesized and structurally characterized to compare the coordination chemistry of Bi(3+) with similarly sized lanthanide ions, Ln(3+). Treatment of Ar'(2)BiCl, 1, with ClMg(CH(2)CH═CH(2)) affords the allyl complex Ar'(2)Bi(η(1)-CH(2)CH═CH(2)), 2, in which only one allyl carbon atom coordinates to bismuth. Complex 1 reacts with KO(t)Bu and KOC(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6 to yield the alkoxide Ar'(2)Bi(O(t)Bu), 3, and aryloxide Ar'(2)Bi(OC(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6), 4, respectively, but the analogous reaction with the larger KOC(6)H(3)(t)Bu(2)-2,6 forms [Ar'(2)Bi][OC(6)H(3)(t)Bu(2)-2,6], 6, in which the aryloxide ligand acts as an outer sphere anion. Chloride is removed from 1 by NaBPh(4) to form [Ar'(2)Bi][BPh(4)], 5, which crystallizes from THF in an unsolvated form with tetraphenylborate as an outer sphere counteranion.  相似文献

The reactions of (4-methoxyphenyl)boronic acid (1a) and of (2,6-dimethylphenyl)boronic acid (1b) with (PMe(3))(3)Rh-(OC(6)H(4)Me-4) (2) in a 5:1 molar ratio result in the formation of cationic rhodium complexes with new tetraarylpentaborates [Rh(PMe(3))(4)](+)[B(5)O(6)Ar(4)](-) (3a, Ar = C(6)H(4)OMe-4; 3b, Ar = C(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6). The characterization of 3a is as follows: orthorhombic space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 14.7600(5) A, b = 17.1675(5) A, c = 19.8654(5) A; V = 5033.7(3) A(3); Z = 4. The characterization of 3b is as follows: orthorhombic space group Pnma, a = 23.704(6) A, b = 17.254(8) A, c = 13.304(2) A; V = 5441(2) A(3); Z = 4. An intermediate complex, [Rh(PMe(3))(4)](+)[Ph(3)B(3)O(3)(OC(6)H(4)Me-4)](-) (4), was isolated from the reaction of phenylboroxine, (PhBO)(3), with 2. The tetraarylpentaborates smoothly undergo hydrolysis to give [Rh(PMe(3))(4)](+)[B(5)O(6)(OH)(4)](-) (5).  相似文献

The dimeric macrocycles [[P(mu-NtBu)]2.LL]2 [LL = OCH2C(Me)2CH2O (1), 2,6-(NH)2C5H3N (2), 1,2-(NH)2C6H4(3)] have been obtained by the reactions of the appropriate diols and diamines (LLH2) with the dimeric phosph(III)azane [ClP(mu-NtBu)]2. Under different conditions the reaction of 1,2-(NH2)2C6H4 with [ClP(mu-NtBu)]2 gives the monomer [[P(mu-NtBu)]2.[1,2-(NH)2C6H4]] (4) (instead of the dimer 3). Contrary to the literature, the results illustrate that the formation of dimeric macrocycles is common in these reactions and dependent among other factors on the steric demands and length of the organic spacer (LL) as well as the reaction conditions.  相似文献

The reaction of the unsymmetric bisphosphanyl urea ligand P(OC(6)H(3)Bu(t)(2)-2,4)(2)N(Me)C(O)N(Me)PPh(2) with [Pd(cod)Cl(2)] (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) results in the chiral palladacycle (R,S)(A2)-[Pd(kappa(2)-P,P-[P(OC(6)H(3)Bu(t)(2)-2,4)(2)N(Me)C(O)N(Me)PPh(2)]Cl(2)]. The chirality of the title compound is caused by the tilting of the central, six-membered PdP(2)N(2)C ring along one of the two P-N vectors and comprises two chiral planes and one chiral axis.  相似文献

R2BiOH (1) [R = 2-(Me2NCH2)C6H4] and (R2Bi)2O (2) are formed by hydrolysis of R2BiCl with KOH. Single crystals of were obtained by air oxidation of (R2Bi)2. The reaction of R2BiCl and Na2CO3 leads to (R2Bi)2CO3 (3). 3 is also formed by the absorption of CO2 from the air in solutions of 1 or 2 in diethyl ether or toluene. (R2Bi)2S (4) is obtained from R2BiCl and Na2S or from (R2Bi)2 and S8. Exchange reactions between R2BiCl and KBr or NaI give R2BiX [X = Br (5), I (6)]. The reaction of RBiCl2 (7) with Na2S and [W(CO)5(THF)] gives cyclo-(RBiS)2[W(CO)5]2 (8). cyclo-(R'BiS)2 (9) [R' = 2,6-(Me2NCH2)2C6H3] is formed by reaction of R'BiCl2 and Na2S. The structures of were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献
