Let M~n(n≥2) be an immersed umbilic-free hypersurface in the (n+1)-dimensional unit sphere S~(n+1). Then M~n is associated with a so-called Mobius metric g,and a Mobius second fundamental form B which are invariants of M~n under the Mobiustransformation group of S~(n+1). Let M^n be a closed spacelike submanifold isometrically immersed in de Sitter space Sp^(n p)(c), Denote by R,H and S the normalized scalar curvature,the mean curvature and the square of the length of the second fundamental form of M^n ,respectively. Suppose R is constant and R≤c. The pinching problem on S is studied and a rigidity theorem for M^n immersed in Sp^(n p)(c) with parallel normalized mean curvature vector field is proved. When n≥3, the pinching constant is the best. Thus, the mistake of the paper “Space-like hypersurfaces in de Sitter space with constant scalar curvature”(see Manus Math, 1998,95 :499-505) is corrected. Moreover,the reduction of the codimension when M^n is a complete submanifold in Sp^(n p)(c) with parallel normalized mean curvature vector field is investigated.  相似文献

Consider a Hamiltonian action of S~1 on(C~(n+1), ω_(std)), we shown that the Hamiltonian Gromov–Witten invariants of it are well-defined. After computing the Hamiltonian Gromov–Witten invariants of it, we construct a ring homomorphism from H*_(S~1,CR)(X, R) to the small orbifold quantum cohomology of X //_τ S~1 and obtain a simpler formula of the Gromov–Witten invariants for weighted projective space.  相似文献

From previous studies of the equation in the title with positive parameters p and q and positive initial conditions we know that if q h 4 p + 1 then the equilibrium is a global attractor. We also know that if q > 4 p + 1 then every solution eventually enters and remains in the interval [ p / q , 1]. In this strip there exists a "unique" prime period two solution that is locally asymptotically stable. In this paper, we provide more insight as to the behavior of solutions of the equation in the title in the strip [ p / q , 1], where a one-dimensional stable manifold lives.  相似文献
