In the first title salt, [Cu(C12H8N2)2(C5H10N2Se)](ClO4)2, the CuII centre occupies a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal environment defined by four N donors from two 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen) ligands and by the Se donor of a 1,3‐dimethylimidazolidine‐2‐selone ligand, with the equatorial plane defined by the Se and by two N donors from different phen ligands and the axial sites occupied by the two remaining N donors, one from each phen ligand. The Cu—N distances span the range 1.980 (10)–2.114 (11) Å and the Cu—Se distance is 2.491 (3) Å. Intermolecular π–π contacts between imidazolidine rings and the central rings of phen ligands generate chains of cations. In the second salt, [Cu(C10H8N2)2(C3H6N2S)](ClO4)2, the CuII centre occupies a similar distorted trigonal–bipyramidal environment comprising four N donors from two 2,2′‐bipyridyl (bipy) ligands and an S donor from an imidazolidine‐2‐thione ligand. The equatorial plane is defined by the S donor and two N donors from different bipy ligands. The Cu—N distances span the range 1.984 (6)–2.069 (7) Å and the Cu—S distance is 2.366 (3) Å. Intermolecular π–π contacts between imidazolidine and pyridyl rings form chains of cations. A major difference between the two structures is due to the presence in the second complex of two N—H...O hydrogen bonds linking the imidazolidine N—H hydrogen‐bond donors to perchlorate O‐atom acceptors.  相似文献

The geometric isomers of bis(dipicolylamine)copper(II) perchlorate, [Cu(dipica)2](ClO4)2, and bis[2-(2-pyridylethyl)picolylamine]copper(II) perchlorate, [Cu(pepica)2](ClO4)2, have been prepared and their molecular structures determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The copper atom of cis-fac-[Cu(dipica)2](ClO4)2, is six coordinate with an amine nitrogen and a pyridyl group of each facial dipica ligand forming a cis coordination plane, and the remaining pyridyl nuclei on the axial sites completing a distorted octahedral structure. The mixed trans-fac- & square-pyramidal-[Cu(dipica)2](ClO4)2 comprises discrete hexacoordinate and pentacoordinate cations. The distorted trans-facial octahedral cation has two picolyl chelates in the equatorial plane and two slightly longer axial pyridyl groups. In the square-pyramidal cation, the basal plane is formed by a meridional tridentate dipicia and a pyridyl of another bidentate dipica ligand, of which the amine group is bound at the apex. The copper ion of trans-fac-[Cu(pepica)2](ClO4)2 is bound by two picolyl chelates in the equatorial plane and two elongated axial pyridyl groups. The electronic structures of these complexes are deduced based on their electronic and e.p.r. spectra. The bonding properties and the formation of the geometric isomers are elucidated.  相似文献

The title compound, [H2bipy](ClO4)2 or C10H10N22+·2ClO4?, was obtained at the interface between an organic (2,2′‐bipyridine in methanol) and an aqueous phase (perchloric acid in water). The compound crystallizes in space group P and comprises discrete diprotonated trans‐bipyridinium cations, [H2bipy]2+, and ClO4? anions. The cations and anions are connected through N—H?O and C—H?O hydrogen bonds [distances N?O 2.817 (4) and 2.852 (4) Å, and C?O 3.225 (6)–3.412 (5)Å]. The C—C bond distance between the two rings is 1.452 (5) Å. The bipyridinium cation has a trans conformation and the N—C—C—N torsion angle is 152.0 (3)°.  相似文献

The title compound corresponds to a copper(II) dimer, [Cu2(OH)2(C2H3N)2(C21H22N2)2](ClO4)2, where the metal centres are μ2‐bridged by hydroxo groups. The coordination of each copper(II) centre is a slightly distorted square‐based pyramid, with two N atoms from dibenzyl(6‐methyl‐2‐pyridylmethyl)amine (BiBzMePMA) and two hydroxo O atoms occupying the basal positions, and the acetonitrile N atom at the apical position. The dimer is centrosymmetric, with a crystallographic inversion centre midway between the two Cu atoms [Cu⋯Cu = 2.9522 (9) Å]  相似文献

Mn(bzimpy)2(1)[bzimpy=2,6-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine],a mononuclear manganese(Ⅱ)complex, was synthesized by the reaction of Mn(OOCMe)2 with bzimpy in absolute ethanol. The complex was structurally characterized by elemental analysis, cyclic voltammetry, and X-ray crystallography. In the complex, the manganese-nitrogen distances were different, and the geometry and the metal ion environment showed the distortion. The cyclic voltammetric measurements have been performed to assess its redox characteristics. The presence of oxidation wave at 0.62V and 0.081V vs.SCE or 0.8V and 1.0v vs.NHE suggested that this complex could catalyze the oxidation of water, therefore, simulate the water-oxidizing complex(WOC) of photosystem Ⅱ (PS Ⅱ).The measurements of photoreduction of 2,6-dichlorophenolindophenol (DCPIP),and oxygen evolution in the manganess-depleted and the comples 1-reconstituted PS Ⅱ preparations just support our conjecture.  相似文献

An electron spin resonance study at temperatures between 300 and 4 K demonstrates that the two crystallographically inequivalent Cu(II) sites in the title compound are subject to different Jahn-Teller behaviour. It is shown that this is not induced by cooperative interactions between the Jahn-Teller sites but arises from the different lattice symmetries of the two sites.  相似文献

The structures of five compounds consisting of (prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine complexed with copper in both the CuI and CuII oxidation states are presented, namely chlorido{(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ3N,N′,N′′}copper(I) 0.18‐hydrate, [CuCl(C15H17N3)]·0.18H2O, (1), catena‐poly[[copper(I)‐μ2‐(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ5N,N′,N′′:C2,C3] perchlorate acetonitrile monosolvate], {[Cu(C15H17N3)]ClO4·CH3CN}n, (2), dichlorido{(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ3N,N′,N′′}copper(II) dichloromethane monosolvate, [CuCl2(C15H17N3)]·CH2Cl2, (3), chlorido{(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ3N,N′,N′′}copper(II) perchlorate, [CuCl(C15H17N3)]ClO4, (4), and di‐μ‐chlorido‐bis({(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ3N,N′,N′′}copper(II)) bis(tetraphenylborate), [Cu2Cl2(C15H17N3)2][(C6H5)4B]2, (5). Systematic variation of the anion from a coordinating chloride to a noncoordinating perchlorate for two CuI complexes results in either a discrete molecular species, as in (1), or a one‐dimensional chain structure, as in (2). In complex (1), there are two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. Complex (2) consists of the CuI atom coordinated by the amine and pyridyl N atoms of one ligand and by the vinyl moiety of another unit related by the crystallographic screw axis, yielding a one‐dimensional chain parallel to the crystallographic b axis. Three complexes with CuII show that varying the anion composition from two chlorides, to a chloride and a perchlorate to a chloride and a tetraphenylborate results in discrete molecular species, as in (3) and (4), or a bridged bis‐μ‐chlorido complex, as in (5). Complex (3) shows two strongly bound Cl atoms, while complex (4) has one strongly bound Cl atom and a weaker coordination by one perchlorate O atom. The large noncoordinating tetraphenylborate anion in complex (5) results in the core‐bridged Cu2Cl2 moiety.  相似文献

The title compund, [Cu2(OH)2(C22H25N3)2](ClO4)2, is a copper(II) dimer, with two [CuL]2+ units [L is bis(6‐methyl‐2‐pyridylmethyl)(2‐phenylethyl)amine] bridged by hydroxide groups to define the {[CuL](μ‐OH)2[CuL]}2+ cation. Charge balance is provided by perchlorate counter‐anions. The cation has a crystallographic inversion centre halfway between the CuII ions, which are separated by 3.0161 (8) Å. The central core of the cation is an almost regular Cu2O2 parallelogram of sides 1.931 (2) and 1.935 (2) Å, with a Cu—O—Cu angle of 102.55 (11)°. The coordination geometry around each CuII centre can be best described as a square‐based pyramid, with three N atoms from L ligands and two hydroxide O atoms completing the coordination environment. Each cationic unit is hydrogen bonded to two perchlorate anions by means of hydroxide–perchlorate O—H...O interactions.  相似文献

The title compound, [Cu(C4H8N3O2)2]·2C5H9NO, consists of a neutral copper complex, in which the CuII centre coordinates to two bis(methoxycarbimido)aminate ligands, solvated by two molecules of 1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one. The complex is planar and centrosymmetric, with the CuII centre occupying a crystallographic inversion centre and adopting approximately square‐planar geometry. N—H...O hydrogen‐bonding interactions exist between the amine NH groups of the ligands and the O atoms of the 1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one molecules. The associated units pack to form sheets.  相似文献

The title complex, [Cu(ClO4)2(C9H13N5O)(CH3OH)], was synthesized from a methanolysis reaction of N‐(methylpyridin‐2‐yl)cyanoguanidine (L3) and copper(II) perchlorate hexahydrate in a 1:1 molar ratio. The CuII ion is six‐coordinated by an N3O3 donor set which confers a highly distorted and asymmetric octahedral geometry. Three N‐donor atoms from the chelating 1‐(methoxymethanimidoyl)‐2‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)guanidine (L3m) ligand and one O atom from the methanol molecule define the equatorial plane, with two perchlorate O atoms in the apical sites, one of which has a long Cu—O bond of 2.9074 (19) Å. The dihedral angle between the five‐ and six‐membered chelate rings is 8.21 (8)°. Two molecules are associated into a dimeric unit by intermolecular N—H...O(perchlorate) hydrogen bonds. Additionally, the weakly coordinated perchlorate anions also link adjacent [Cu(ClO4)2(L3m)(CH3OH)] dimers by hydrogen‐bonding interactions, resulting in a two‐dimensional layer in the (100) plane. Further C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the two‐dimensional layers along [100] to generate a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

Bis(N‐ethylbenzimidazol‐2‐ylmethyl)aniline (Etbba) and its transition metal complexes, [Cu(Etbba)(Cl)2]?DMF ( 1 ), [Mn(Etbba)(Cl)2] ( 2 ) and [Ni(Etbba)(Cl)2] ( 3 ), have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV–visible, infrared and NMR spectroscopies and X‐ray crystallography. The coordination environment of complex 1 can be described as distorted square‐based pyramidal, while complexes 2 and 3 each have a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Cyclic voltammograms of complex 1 indicate an electrochemically quasi‐reversible Cu2+/Cu+ couple. In addition, the antioxidant activities of the free ligand and its complexes were investigated using the superoxide and hydroxyl radical scavenging methods in vitro. Complexes 1 , 2 , 3 are found to possess potent hydroxyl radical scavenging activity and to be better than standard antioxidants like vitamin C and mannitol. Furthermore, complexes 1 and 2 exhibit significant superoxide radical activity. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The title complex, [MnHg(NCS)4(C2H5NO)2]n, consists of slightly distorted MnN4O2 octahedra and HgS4 tetrahedra. Each MnII cation is bound to four N atoms of the NCS groups and two O atoms of the N‐methylformamide (NMF) ligands in a cis configuration. Each HgII cation is coordinated to four S atoms of NCS groups. Each pair of MnII and HgII cations is connected by an –NCS– bridge, forming an infinite three‐dimensional –Mn—NCS—Hg– network.  相似文献

In the two title copper(II) complexes, [CuL(C5H7O2)]n, (I), and [CuL′(C5H7O2)], (II), respectively, where HL is 4‐hydroxy‐3‐methoxybenzaldehyde picoloylhydrazone, C14H12N3O3, and HL′ is 4‐methoxybenzaldehyde picoloylhydrazone, C14H12N3O2, the CuII ions display a highly Jahn–Teller‐distorted octahedral and a square‐planar coordination geometry, respectively. In complex (I), two neighbouring CuII atoms are bridged by L and acetylacetonate, alternately, giving rise to a one‐dimensional chain of CuN2O4 octahedra interconnected by these two ligands along the a axis. In addition, the hydroxy H atom of the vanillin group connects to the carboxyl O atom of the adjacent chain via an O—H...O hydrogen bond, giving rise to a three‐dimensional supramolecular assembly. Complex (II) displays a discrete structure.  相似文献

An investigation of the structures and chemistry of substituted hexamethyl disiloxanes ((XCH2)3Si)2O; X=F, Cl, Br, I, N3, and ONO2) is reported. New synthetic routes to the precursor hexakis(chloromethyl)disiloxane are presented. The products with X=Cl, Br, I, and N3 were characterized by NMR, IR, and Raman spectroscopy. In addition, the single‐crystal structures of the products with X=Cl, Br, and I are discussed in detail. The compounds with X=F and ONO2 were not obtained in their pure form; instead investigations of the decomposition products revealed their conversion into intermediates. Theoretical calculations of the gas‐phase structures at the B3LYP/cc‐pVDZ, B3LYP/3‐21G, MP2/6‐31G*, and MP2/3‐21G levels of theory are used to explain the chemical and physical behavior of the compounds with X=Cl, Br, I, N3, and ONO2. A new decomposition pathway of hexakis(nitratomethyl)disiloxane is presented and is used to explain their remarkable instability. The energetic properties and values of the nitrate and azide derivatives were calculated at the CBS‐4M level of theory by using the improved EXPLO5 computer code version 6.01.  相似文献

In the crystals of the title compound, [CuCl2(C6H6ClN)2], the Cu atom lies on an inversion centre and is four‐coordinated by two pyridine N atoms and two Cl atoms in trans positions. The coordination geometry is square planar, with Cu—N and Cu—Cl distances of 1.986 (2) and 2.2536 (11) Å, respectively. The two pyridine rings are parallel, but twist from the CuN2Cl2 coordination plane by about 95° in the complex molecule. There are three kinds of intermolecular C—H⃛Cl hydrogen bonds in the crystals. Two of these types generate two‐dimensional molecular networks, viewed in the direction of the a axis, and the other connects adjacent molecular networks.  相似文献

The title compound, [Ru(C12H8N2)3]2[Fe(NCS)4](ClO4)2, crystallizes in a tetragonal chiral space group (P41212) and the assigned absolute configuration of the optically active molecules was unequivocally confirmed. The Δ‐[RuII(phen)3]2+ complex cations (phen is 1,10‐phenanthroline) interact along the 41 screw axis parallel to the c axis, with an Ru...Ru distance of 10.4170 (6) Å, and in the ab plane, with Ru...Ru distances of 10.0920 (6) and 10.0938 (6) Å, defining a primitive cubic lattice. The Fe atom is situated on the twofold axis diagonal in the ab plane. The supramolecular architecture is supported by C—H...O interactions between the [RuII(phen)3]2+ cation and the disordered perchlorate anion. This study adds to the relatively scarce knowledge about intermolecular interactions between [Ru(phen)3]2+ ions in the solid state, knowledge that eventually may also lead to a better understanding of the solution state interactions of this species; these are of immense interest because of the photochemical properties of these ions and their interactions with DNA.  相似文献

The title compound, [Cd(C12H8N2)3](ClO4)2·3.5H2O, contains a cross‐shaped one‐dimensional channel along the c axis which encapsulates an ordered water chain. This water chain features a centrosymmetric cyclic water hexamer unit with a chair‐like conformation. Neighbouring hexamers are linked by bridging water molecules. The host perchlorate anions recognize and stabilize the guest water chain via three kinds of hydrogen‐bond patterns, leading to the formation of a complex one‐dimensional {[(H2O)7(ClO4)4]4−}n anionic chain. One perchlorate acts as a single hydrogen‐bond acceptor dangling on the chain, the second perchlorate on the chain serves as a double hydrogen‐bond acceptor for only one water molecule to form an R22(6) ring, where both entities lie on a twofold axis, while the third perchlorate, which also lies on a twofold axis, accepts two hydrogen bonds from two equivalent water molecules and is involved in the construction of an R65(14) ring.  相似文献
