The asymmetric unit of the title two‐dimensional coordination polymer, {[Cd(C14H8O4)(C14H14N4)]·0.15H2O}n, is composed of one CdII cation, one biphenyl‐2,4′‐dicarboxylate (bpdc) anion, one 1,4‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene (bix) ligand and 0.15 solvent water molecules. The coordination environment of the CdII cation is defined by four carboxylate O atoms from two different bpdc anions in a chelating mode and two N atoms from two distinct bix ligands, constructing a distorted trigonal prism polyhedron. Two inversion‐related CdII cations are bridged together by two positionally disordered bpdc anions, forming a 22‐membered ring with a Cd...Cd distance of 9.1966 (9) Å. These rings are then further linked by two bix ligands, extending into a two‐dimensional layer along (102) with 63 topology. 相似文献

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, {[Cu(CO3)(C14H14N4)1.5]·0.5C14H14N4·5H2O}n, contains one CuII cation in a slightly distorted square‐pyramidal coordination environment, one CO32− anion, one full and two half 1,4‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene (bix) ligands, one half‐molecule of which is uncoordinated, and five uncoordinated water molecules. One of the coordinated bix ligands and the uncoordinated bix molecule are situated about centers of symmetry, located at the centers of the benzene rings. The coordinated bix ligands link the copper(II) ions into a [Cu(bix)1.5]n molecular ladder. These molecular ladders do not form interpenetrated ladders but are arranged in an ABAB parallel terrace, i.e. with the ladders arranged one above another, with sequence A translated with respect to B by 8 Å. To best of our knowledge, this arrangement has not been observed in any of the molecular ladder frameworks synthesized to date. The coordination environment of the CuII atom is completed by two O atoms of the CO32− anion. The framework is further strengthened by extensive O—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds involving the water molecules, the O atoms of the CO32− anion and the N atoms of the bix ligands. This study describes the first example of a molecular ladder coordination polymer based on bix and therefore demonstrates further the usefulness of bix as a versatile multidentate ligand for constructing coordination polymers with interesting architectures. 相似文献

In the title compound, {[Co2(C14H8O4)2(C10H8N2)2(H2O)2]·2C14H10O4}n, each CoII ion is six‐coordinate in a slightly distorted octahedral geometry. Both CoII ions are located on twofold axes. One is surrounded by two O atoms from two biphenyl‐2,2′‐dicarboxylate (dpa) dianions, two N atoms from two 4,4′‐bipyridine (bpy) ligands and two water molecules, while the second is surrounded by four O atoms from two dpa dianions and two N atoms from two bpy ligands. The coordinated dpa dianion functions as a κ3‐bridge between the two CoII ions. One carboxylate group of a dpa dianion bridges two adjacent CoII ions, and one O atom of the other carboxylate group also chelates to a CoII ion. The CoII ions are bridged by dpa dianions and bpy ligands to form a chiral sheet. There are several strong intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the H2dpa solvent molecule and the chiral sheet, which result in a sandwich structure. 相似文献

In the title coordination compound, [Zn(C12H6O4)(C14H14N4)]n, the two ZnII centers exhibit different coordination environments. One ZnII center is four‐coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral environment surrounded by two carboxylate O atoms from two different naphthalene‐1,4‐dicarboxylate (1,4‐ndc) anions and two N atoms from two distinct 1,4‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene (1,4‐bix) ligands. The coordination of the second ZnII center comprises two N atoms from two different 1,4‐bix ligands and three carboxylate O atoms from two different 1,4‐ndc ligands in a highly distorted square‐pyramidal environment. The 1,4‐bix ligand and the 1,4‐ndc anion link adjacent ZnII centers into a two‐dimensional four‐connected (4,4) network. The two (4,4) networks are interpenetrated in a parallel mode. 相似文献

The PbII cation in the title compound, [Pb2(C14H4N2O8)]n, is seven‐coordinated by one N atom and six O atoms from four 4,4′‐bipyridine‐2,2′,6,6′‐tetracarboxylate (BPTCA4−) ligands. The geometric centre of the BPTCA4− anion lies on an inversion centre. Each pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate moiety of the BPTCA4− ligand links four PbII cations via its pyridyl N atom and two carboxylate groups to form two‐dimensional sheets. The centrosymmetric BPTCA4− ligand then acts as a linker between the sheets, which results in a three‐dimensional metal–organic framework. 相似文献

Starting with 3,3′,4,4′‐biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride and methyl aminobenzoate, we synthesized a novel rodlike imide‐containing monomer, N,N′‐bis[p‐(methoxy carbonyl) phenyl]‐biphenyl‐3,3′,4,4′‐tetracarboxydiimide (BMBI). The polycondensation of BMBI with dimethyl terephthalate and ethylene glycol yielded a series of copoly(ester imide)s based on the BMBI‐modified poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) backbone. Compared with PET, these BMBI‐modified polyesters had higher glass‐transition temperatures and higher stiffness and strength. In particular, the poly(ethylene terephthalate imide) PETI‐5, which contained 5 mol % of the imide moieties, had a glass‐transition temperature of 89.9 °C (11 °C higher than the glass‐transition temperature of PET), a tensile modulus of 869.4 MPa (20.2 % higher than that of PET), and a tensile strength of 80.8 MPa (38.8 % higher than that of PET). Therefore, a significant reinforcing effect was observed in these imide‐modified polyesters, and a new approach to higher property polyesters was suggested. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The solvothermal reaction of Zn(OAc)2·2H2O with 3,3′‐(diazenediyl)dibenzoic acid (H2ADB) in H2O at 393 K afforded the title complex, [Zn(C14H8N2O4)(H2O)]n. The asymmetric unit contains half a ZnII cation, half an ADB ligand and half a water molecule. Each ZnII centre lies on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis and is five‐coordinated by four O atoms of bridging carboxylate groups from four ADB ligands and one O atom from a water molecule, forming a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal coordination geometry. The [Zn(H2O)] subunits are bridged by carboxylate groups to give one‐dimensional [Zn(μ‐COO)4(H2O)]n chains. The chains are linked by ADB ligands into two‐dimensional sheets, and these sheets are further connected to neighbouring sheets via hydrogen bonds (OW—HW...O), forming a three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bond‐stabilized structure with an unprecedented 374175262 topology. 相似文献

A novel cadmium(II) coordination polymer, poly[[[bis(4,4′‐bipyridine)cadmium(II)]‐μ3‐4,4′‐dicarboxybiphenyl‐3,3′‐dicarboxylato] 0.35‐hydrate], {[Cd(C16H8O8)(C10H8N2)2]·0.35H2O}n, was obtained by reaction of Cd(CH3COO)2·3H2O, 4,4′‐bipyridine (4,4′‐bpy) and biphenyl‐3,3′,4,4′‐tetracarboxylic acid (H4L) under hydrothermal conditions. Each CdII atom lies at the centre of a distorted octahedron, coordinated by four O atoms from three H2L2− ligands and N atoms from two monodentate 4,4′‐bpy ligands. Each H2L2− ligand coordinates to three CdII atoms through two carboxylate groups, one acting as a bridging bidentate ligand and the other in a chelating bidentate fashion. Two Cd atoms, two H2L2− anions and four 4,4′‐bpy ligands form a ring dimer node, which links into an extended broad zonal one‐dimensional chain along the c axis. 相似文献

The title compound, {[Cd2(C9HNO8)(H2O)4]·H2O}n, consists of two crystallographically independent CdII cations, one tetrabasic pyridine‐2,3,5,6‐tetracarboxylate (pdtc) anion, four coordinated water molecules and one solvent water molecule. The CdII cations have distorted square‐antiprismatic (one pyridine N, six carboxylate O and one water O atom) and octahedral (three carboxylate O and three water O atoms) coordination environments. Each pdtc ligand employs its pyridine and carboxylate groups to chelate and bridge seven CdII cations. The square‐antiprismatic coordinated CdII cations are linked by pdtc ligands into a lamellar framework structure, while the octahedral coordinated CdII cations are bridged by the μ2‐carboxylate O atoms and the pdtc ligands into a chain network that further joins neighbouring lamellae into a three‐dimensional porous network. The cavities are filled with solvent water molecules that are linked to the host through complex hydrogen bonding. 相似文献

Ligands based on polycarboxylic acids are excellent building blocks for the construction of coordination polymers; they may bind to a variety of metal ions and form clusters, as well as extended chain or network structures. Among these building blocks, biphenyltetracarboxylic acids (H4bpta) with C 2 symmetry have recently attracted attention because of their variable bridging and multidentate chelating modes. The new luminescent three‐dimensional coordination polymer poly[(μ5‐1,1′‐biphenyl‐2,2′,4,4′‐tetracarboxylato)bis[μ2‐1,4‐bis(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)benzene]dizinc(II)], [Zn2(C16H6O8)(C12H10N4)]n , was synthesized solvothermally and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, elemental analysis and IR spectroscopy. The crystal structure contains two crystallographically independent ZnII cations. Both metal cations are located on twofold axes and display distorted tetrahedral coordination geometries. Neighbouring ZnII centres are bridged by carboxylate groups in the syn –anti mode to form one‐dimensional chains. Adjacent chains are linked through 1,1′‐biphenyl‐2,2′,4,4′‐tetracarboxylate and 1,4‐bis(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)benzene ligands to form a three‐dimensional network. In the solid state, the compound exhibits blue photoluminescence and represents a promising candidate for a thermally stable and solvent‐resistant blue fluorescent material. 相似文献

These two‐dimensional arrays are further pillared by rod‐like 4,4′‐bipyridine ligands to give a three‐dimensional framework with pcu (primitive cubic) topology. The title compound, [Cd(C8H18NO8P2)2]n, synthesized by hydrothermal methods, exhibits a layered structure in which the CdII ion, occupying a centre of symmetry, is coordinated by six O atoms from four phosphonate ligands. The crosslinkage of CdO6 octahedra by bridging phosphonate ligands results in a cadmium(II) phosphonate layer. Within the layer, there exists a 16‐membered ring incorporating four –Cd—O—P—O– linkages. The uncoordinated carboxyl group of the ligand is oriented so that it penetrates the adjacent layer, taking part in hydrogen bonding to two uncoordinated phosphonate O atoms to form a CO2H/HO2P motif. 相似文献

In the centrosymmetric dinuclear anions of the title bimetallic complex, {[Mg(H2O)6][Cu2(C8H2NO7)2]·2H2O}n, each CuII ion is strongly coordinated by four O atoms in a distorted square‐planar geometry. Two of these O atoms belong to phenolate groups and the other two to carboxylate groups from 5‐nitro‐2‐oxidoisophthalate (L1) trianions, derived from 5‐nitrobenzene‐1,2,3‐tricarboxylic acid (O2N–H3L). The phenolate O atoms bridge the two CuII ions in the anion. In addition, each CuII cation interacts weakly with a symmetry‐related carboxylate O atom of an adjacent L1 ligand, giving a square‐pyramidal coordination geometry. The copper residue forms a ladder‐like linear coordination polymer via L1 ligands. The [Mg(H2O)6]2+ cations sit on centres of inversion. The polymeric anions, cations and free water molecules are self‐assembled into a three‐dimensional supramolecular network via O—H...O hydrogen bonds. 相似文献

The title compound, [Pd2(C4H13N3)2(C14H16N2)](NO3)4, comprises discrete tetracationic dumbbell‐type dinuclear complex molecules and noncoordinating nitrate anions. Two Pd(dien)2+ moieties (dien is diethylenetriamine) are joined by the rigid linear exo‐bidentate bridging 2,2′,6,6′‐tetramethyl‐4,4′‐bipyridine ligand to form the dinuclear complex, which lies across a centre of inversion in the space group P21/n, so that the rings in the 2,2′,6,6′‐tetramethyl‐4,4′‐bipyridine bridging ligand are parallel. In the title dimeric complex, [Cu2(C4H4O4)2(C7H6N2S)4], which possesses a centre of symmetry, the Cu atoms are enclosed in a 14‐membered ring. They adopt a distorted square‐bipyramidal (4+2) coordination. The four closest donor atoms are two N atoms of 2‐aminobenzothiazole ligands and two O atoms of the succinate carboxylate groups. They form a square‐planar cis arrangement, with an average Cu—N distance of 2.003 (3) Å and Cu—O distances of 1.949 (3) and 1.965 (3) Å. Two longer Cu—O bonds of 2.709 (3) and 2.613 (3) Å involving the remaining O atoms of the carboxylate groups complete the sixfold coordination of the Cu atoms. The H atoms of each amino group of the 2‐aminobenzothiazole molecules form intra‐ and intermolecular N—H?O hydrogen bonds. A nearly perpendicular intermolecular C—H?Cg interaction (Cg is the centroid of the imidazole ring) is observed. The intramolecular Cu?Cu distance is 6.384 (2) Å. 相似文献

The title compound, {(C7H15N2Cl)2[Cd3Cl10]·4H2O}n, consists of 1‐chloromethyl‐1,4‐diazoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane dications, one‐dimensional inorganic chains of {[Cd3Cl10]4−} anions and uncoordinated water molecules. Each of the two independent CdII ions, one with site symmetry 2/m and the other with site symmetry m, is octahedrally coordinated by chloride ions (two with site symmetry m and one with site symmetry 2), giving rise to novel polymeric zigzag chains of corner‐sharing Cd‐centred octahedra parallel to the c axis. The organic cations, bisected by mirror planes that contain the two N atoms, three methylene C atoms and the Cl atom, are ordered. Hydrogen bonds (O—H...Cl and O—H...O) between the water molecules (both with O atoms in a mirror plane) and the chloride anions of neighbouring chloridocadmate chains form a three‐dimensional supramolecular network. 相似文献

Two twisted 1,2‐bis(2‐pyridyl)ethyne ligands bridge two Cd2+ centers in the C2‐symmetric title complex, [Cd2(NO3)4(μ‐C12H8N2)2(H2O)2]. The bridging ligands arch across one another creating a `zigzag loop' molecular geometry. Two nitrate ions and a water molecule complete the irregular seven‐coordinate Cd‐atom environment. The dihedral angles between the equivalent pyridyl ring planes of the two independent ligands are 67.2 (1)°.
