The synthesis of the ruthenium stanna-closo-dodecaborate complex [Bu(3)MeN](2)[Ru(dppb)(MeCN)(2)(SnB(11)H(11))(2)] by an unprecedented, reversible eta(3)(B-H) to eta(1)(Sn) rearrangement of [Bu(3)MeN](2)[Ru(dppb)(SnB(11)H(11))(2)] is described and the product is characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The selenium adducts of germa- and stanna-closo-dodecaborate can coordinate at platinum via the selenium atom and result in the products [Pt(dppp)(Se-TB(11)H(11))(2)](2-) (T = Ge, Sn) (dppp = 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane). The monomeric tin compound [Pt(dppp)(Se-SnB(11)H(11))(2)](2-) is converted to a dimeric complex [Pt(2)(dppp)(2)(μ(2),μ'(2)-η(2)-Se(2)SnB(11)H(11))]. The new compounds were characterized by NMR spectroscopy in solution ((1)H, (11)B, (13)C, (31)P, (77)Se, (119)Sn, (195)Pt), elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Three stannaborate complexes of platinum(II) and a novel stannoborate palladium(II) derivative have been prepared in excellent yield. The tin transition metal bond is formed through nucleophilic substitution and the resulting complexes [Bu3MeN] [trans-[(Et3P)2Pt(SnB11H11)H]] (6), [trans-[(Et3P)2Pt(SnB11H11)(CNtBu)]] (7), [Bu3MeN]2[trans-[(Et3P)2Pt(SnB11H11)2-(CNtBu)]] (8), and [Bu3MeN][(dppe)-Pd(SnB11H11)Me] (12) (dppe = 1,2-bis-(diphenylphosphanyl)ethane) were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. In the cases of the zwitterion 7, the pentacoordinated complex 9, the palladium salt 12 and [(triphos)Pt(SnB11H11)] (10) (triphos = 1,1,1-tris(diphenylphosphanylmethyl)ethane), their solid-state structures are determined by X-ray crystal structure analyses. The trans influence of the [SnB11H11] ligand is evaluated from the results of the IR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallographic structures of complexes 6, 7, and 12. The dipole moment of the zwitterion 7 is calculated by density functional theory (DFT) methods. The alignment of the dipole moments of the polar molecules 7 and 12 in the solid state is discussed.  相似文献

Four stanna-closo-dodecaborate complexes of ruthenium have been prepared and characterized by multinuclear NMR studies in solution and in the solid state. The solid-state structures of the dimeric zwitterions [[Ru(dppb)(SnB11H11)]2] (2) (dppb = bis(diphenylphosphino)butane), [[Ru(PPh3)2(SnB11H11)]2] (3), and the dianionic ruthenium complex [Bu3MeN]2[Ru(dppb)[2,7,8-(mu-H)3-exo-SnB11H11](SnB11H11)] (4) were determined by X-ray crystal structure analysis; they establish an unprecedented structural motif in the chemistry of heteroboranes and transition-metal fragments with the stanna-closo-dodecaborate moiety as a two-faced ligand that exhibits eta1(Sn) as well as eta3(B-H) coordination. The eta3-coordinated stannaborate in 4 and in the isostructural compound [Bu3MeN]2[Ru(PPh3)2[2,7,8-(mu-H)3-exo-SnB11H11](SnB11H11)] (5) shows fluxional behavior, which was studied in detail by using 31P[1H] EXSY and DNMR experiments. The activation parameters for the dynamic process of 5 are given.  相似文献

Reaction of the stanna-closo-dodecaborate salt [Bu3MeN]2[SnB11H11] with the dimeric ruthenium complex [Ru2(mu-Cl)3(triphos)2]Cl (triphos = {MeC(CH2PPh2)3}) in refluxing acetonitrile yields the zwitterionic compound [Ru(SnB11H11)(MeCN)2(triphos)] (4) which has been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and solid-state NMR spectroscopy. Refluxing the zwitterion in acetone leads to an eta1(Sn) to eta3(BH) rearrangement with formation of [Ru(SnB1)H11)(triphos)] (5) whose structure has been confirmed by X-ray diffraction and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy in solution and in the solid state. Furthermore, two isomeric zwitterions fac- and mer-[Ru(SnB11H11)(dppb)(MeCN)3] (6a, 6b) and their rearrangement reactions as well as their NMR properties are described.  相似文献

The reactions of [Tl(2)[S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)]](n) with [MCl(2)(NCPh)(2)] and CNR (1:1:2) give complexes [M[eta(2)-S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)](CNR)(2)] [R = (t)Bu, M = Pd (1a), Pt (1b); R = C(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6 (Xy), M = Pd (2a), Pt (2b)]. Compound 1b reacts with AgClO(4) (1:1) to give [[Pt(CN(t)Bu)(2)](2)Ag(2)[mu(2),eta(2)-(S,S')-[S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)](2)]](ClO(4))(2) (3). The reactions of 1 or 2 with diethylamine give mixed isocyanide carbene complexes [M[eta(2)-S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)](CNR)[C(NEt(2))(NHR)]] [R = (t)Bu, M = Pd (4a), Pt (4b); R = Xy, M = Pd (5a), Pt (5b)] regardless of the molar ratio of the reagents. The same complexes react with an excess of ammonia to give [M[eta(2)-(S,S')-S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)](CN(t)Bu)[C(NH(2))(NH(t)Bu)]] [M = Pd (6a), Pt (6b)] or [M[eta(2)-(S,S')-S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)][C(NH(2))(NHXy)](2)] [M = Pd (7a), Pt (7b)] probably depending on steric factors. The crystal structures of 2b, 4a, and 4b have been determined. Compounds 4a and 4b are isostructural. They all display distorted square planar metal environments and chelating planar E,Z-2,2-diacetyl-1,1-ethylenedithiolato ligands that coordinate through the sulfur atoms.  相似文献

A straightforward procedure for the formation of mixed metal Au/Sn clusters is presented: reaction of the heteroborate [SnB11H11]2- with phosphine gold electrophiles gave the clusters [Bu3NH]3[{(Et3P)Au(SnB11H11)}3] and [Bu3MeN]4[{(dppm)Au2(SnB11H11)2}2], which were characterised by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The three diamagnetic square planar complexes of nickel(II), palladium(II), and platinum(II) containing two S,S-coordinated 3,5-di-tert-butylbenzene-1,2-dithiolate ligands, (L(Bu))(2-), namely [M(II)(L(Bu))(2)](2-), have been synthesized. The corresponding paramagnetic monoanions [M(II)(L(Bu))(L(Bu)(*))](-) (S = (1)/(2)) and the neutral diamagnetic species [M(II)(L(Bu)(*))(2)] (M = Ni, Pd, Pt) have also been generated in solution or in the solid state as [N(n-Bu)(4)][M(II)(L(Bu))(L(Bu)(*))] salts. The corresponding complex [Cu(III)(L(Bu))(2)](-) has also been investigated. The complexes have been studied by UV-vis, IR, and EPR spectroscopy and by X-ray crystallography; their electro- and magnetochemistry is reported. The electron-transfer series [M(L(Bu))(2)](2-,-,0) is shown to be ligand based involving formally one (L(Bu)(*))(-) pi radical in the monoanion or two in the neutral species [M(II)(L(Bu)(*))(2)] (M = Ni, Pd, Pt). Geometry optimizations using all-electron density functional theory with scalar relativistic corrections at the second-order Douglas-Kroll-Hess (DKH2) and zeroth-order regular approximation (ZORA) levels result in excellent agreement with the experimentally determined structures and electronic spectra. For the three neutral species a detailed analysis of the orbital structures reveals that the species may best be described as containing two strongly antiferromagnetically interacting ligand radicals. Furthermore, multiconfigurational ab initio calculations using the spectroscopy oriented configuration interaction (SORCI) approach including the ZORA correction were carried out. The calculations predict the position of the intervalence charge-transfer band well. Chemical trends in the diradical characters deduced from the multiconfigurational singlet ground-state wave function along a series of metals and ligands were discussed.  相似文献

The dianionic stannaborate [SnB11H11]2- oxidatively adds iodine at the tin vertex to give the iodinated cluster [I2SnB11H11]2- which maintains a closo structure, albeit having a nido electron count. The iodo-stannaborate [I2SnB11H11]2- is unstable at room temperature, but its structure was elucidated via single-crystal X-ray diffraction at low temperatures. The low-temperature 11B NMR spectrum exhibits a 5:1:5 signal pattern, and the 119Sn NMR shows a resonance at -1039 ppm. Iodination of the zwitterionic stannaborate iron complex Fe(SnB11H11)(triphos) leads to the formation of the corresponding iodo-stannaborate iron complex Fe(I2SnB11H11)(triphos) which features an iodinated stannaborate moiety that has a structure analogous to that of [I2SnB11H11]2-. The zwitterionic iodo-stannaborate complex is stable at room temperature, and the crystal structure and the 1H, 11B, 31P, and 119Sn NMR parameters were determined. 119Sn M?ssbauer spectroscopy supports the assignment of a tin oxidation state of +II for Fe(SnB11H11)(triphos) (delta = 2.71 mm s-1) and +IV for Fe(I2SnB11H11)(triphos) (delta = 1.22 mm s-1). Additional 57Fe M?ssbauer spectra confirm the iron oxidation state +II for both compounds.  相似文献

The reactions between cis-[M(C(6)F(5))(2)(PPh(2)CtriplebondCR)(2)] (M=Pt, Pd; R=Ph, tBu, Tol 2, 3) or cis-[Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)(PPh(2)CtriplebondCR)(PPh(2)CtriplebondCtBu)] (R=Ph 4, Tol 5) and cis-[Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)(thf)(2)] 1 have been investigated. Whereas [M](PPh(2)CtriplebondCtBu)(2) ([M]=cis-M(C(6)F(5))(2)) is inert towards 1, the analogous reactions starting from [M](PPh(2)CtriplebondCR)(2) or [Pt](PPh(2)CtriplebondCR)(PPh(2)CtriplebondCtBu) (R=Ph, Tol) afford unusual binuclear species [Pt(C(6)F(5))(S)mu-[C(R')dbondC(PPh(2))C(PPh(2))doublebondC(R)(C(6)F(5))]M(C(6)F(5))(2)] (R=R'=Ph, Tol, M=Pt 6 a,c, M=Pd 7 a,c; M=Pt, R'=tBu, R=Ph 8, Tol 9) containing a bis(diphenylphosphanyl)butadienyl bridging ligand formed by an unprecedented sequential insertion reaction of two P-coordinated PPh(2)CtriplebondCR ligands into a PtbondC(6)F(5) bond. Although in solution the presence of coordinated solvent S (S=(thf)(x)(H(2)O)(y)) in 6, 7 is suggested by NMR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analyses of different crystals of the mixed complex [Pt(C(6)F(5))mu-[C(tBu)doublebondC(PPh(2))C(PPh(2))doublebondC(Tol)(C(6)F(5))]Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)] 9 unequivocally establish that in the solid state the steric crowding of the new diphenylbutadienyl ligand formed stabilizes an unusual coordinatively unsaturated T-shaped 3-coordinated platinum(II) center. Structure determinations of the mononuclear precursors cis-[Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)(PPh(2)CtriplebondCR)(2)] (R=Ph, tBu, Tol) have been carried out to evaluate the factors affecting the insertion processes. The reactions of the platinum complexes 6 towards neutral ligands (L=CO, py, PPh(2)H, CNtBu) in a 1:1 molar ratio afford related diplatinum derivatives 10-13, whereas treatment with CNtBu (1:2 molar ratio) or 2,2'-bipy (1:1 molar ratio) results in the opening of the chelating ring to give cis,cis-[Pt(C(6)F(5))(L)(2)mu-[1-kappaC(1):2-kappaPP'-C(R)doublebondC(PPh(2))C(PPh(2))doublebondC(R)(C(6)F(5))]Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)] (14, 15). The unsaturated or solvento complexes are unstable in solution evolving firstly, through an unexpected formal 4-1 R (Ph, Tol) migration, to the intermediate diphosphanylbutadienyl isomer derivatives [Pt(C(6)F(5))(S)mu-[C(C(6)F(5))doublebondC(PPh(2))C(PPh(2))doublebondC(R)(2)]M(C(6)F(5))(2)] (16, 18) (X-ray, R=Ph, M=Pt) and, finally, to 1-pentafluorophenyl-2,3-bis(diphenylphosphanyl)naphthalene mononuclear complexes (17, 19) by annulation of a phenyl or tolyl group.  相似文献

Reactions of the anionic gallium(i) heterocycle, [:Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}](-) (Ar = C(6)H(3)Pr(i)(2)-2,6), with a variety of mono- and bidentate phosphine, tmeda and 1,5-cyclooctadiene (COD) complexes of group 10 metal dichlorides are reported. In most cases, salt elimination occurs, affording either mono(gallyl) complexes, trans-[MCl{Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}}(PEt(3))(2)] (M = Ni or Pd) and cis-[PtCl{Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}}(L)] (L = R(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PR(2), R = Ph (dppe) or cyclohexyl (dcpe)), or bis(gallyl) complexes, trans-[M{Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}}(2)(PEt(3))(2)] (M = Ni, Pd or Pt), cis-[Pt{Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}}(2)(PEt(3))(2)], cis-[M{Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}}(2)(L)] (M = Ni, Pd or Pt; L = dppe, Ph(2)CH(2)PPh(2) (dppm), tmeda or COD). The crystallographic and spectroscopic data for the complexes show that the trans-influence of the gallium(i) heterocycle lies in the series, B(OR)(2) > H(-) > PR(3) approximately [:Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}](-) > Cl(-). Comparisons between the reactivity of one complex, [Pt{Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}}(2)(dppe)], with that of closely related platinum bis(boryl) complexes indicate that the gallyl complex is not effective for the catalytic or stoichiometric gallylation of alkenes or alkynes. The phosphaalkyne, Bu(t)C[triple bond, length as m-dash]P, does, however, insert into one gallyl ligand of the complex, leading to the novel, crystallographically characterised P,N-gallyl complex, [Pt{Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}}{Ga{PC(Bu(t))C(H)[N(Ar)]C(H)N(Ar)}}(dppe)]. An investigation into the mechanism of this insertion reaction has been undertaken.  相似文献

The five-coordinate palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes [M(PP(3))Cl]Cl [M = Pd (1), Pt (2)] (PP(3) = tris[2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl]phosphine) were prepared by interaction of aqueous solutions of MCl(4)(2-) salts with PP(3) in CHCl(3). Complexes 1 and 2 undergo facile chloro substitution reactions with KCN in 1:1 and 1:2 ratios to afford complexes [M(PP(3))(CN)]Cl [M = Pt (3)] and [M(PP(3))(CN)](CN) [M = Pd (4), Pt (5)] possessing M-C bonds, both in solution and in the solid state. The reaction of 1 and 2 with SnCl(2) in CDCl(3) occurs with insertion of SnCl(2) into M-Cl bonds leading to the formation of [M(PP(3))(SnCl(3))](SnCl(3)) [M = Pd (6), M = Pt (7)]. The isolation as solids of complexes 6 and 7 by addition of SnCl(2) to the precursors requires the presence of PPh(3) which activates the cleavage of M-Cl bonds, favors the SnCl(2) insertion, and does not coordinate to M in any observable extent. Solutions of 6 in CDCl(3) undergo tin dichloride elimination in higher proportion than solutions of 7. The reaction of complexes 1 and 2 with SnPh(2)Cl(2) leads to [M(PP(3))Cl](2)[SnPh(2)Cl(4)] [M = Pd (8)]. Complexes 2, 5, 7, and 8 were shown by X-ray diffraction to contain distorted trigonal bipyramidal monocations [M(PP(3))X](+) [M = Pt, X = Cl(-) (2), X = CN(-) (5), X = SnCl(3)(-) (7); M = Pd, X = Cl(-) (8)], the central P atom of PP(3) being trans to X in axial position and the terminal P donors in the equatorial plane of the bipyramids. The "preformed" catalyst 7 showed a relatively high aldehyde selectivity compared to most of the platinum catalysts.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of the novel bidentate tin ligand 1,2-distanna-closo-dodecaborate is illustrated for the first time by reactions with molybdenum, platinum and gold metal complexes. Up to three clusters coordinate two metal centers in close proximity. For all these metal complexes the typical μ-bridging coordination mode was observed exclusively. Furthermore, two cluster anions react with dichloromethane via substitution of the chloride ions. The carbon functionalized tin cluster [Et(4)N](2)[CH(2)(Sn(2)B(10)H(10))(2)] and the coordination complexes [Et(3)NMe](6)[Mo(2)(CO)(6)(Sn(2)B(10)H(10))(3)], [Et(3)NMe](2)[{HPt(PEt(3))(2)(Sn(2)B(10)H(10))}(2)], [Et(4)N](2)[{HPt(PPh(3))(2)(Sn(2)B(10)H(10))}(2)] and [{(TP)Au}(2)(Sn(2)B(10)H(10))] (TP = PhP(o-Ph(2)PC(6)H(4))(2)) are fully characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, elemental analyses and crystal structure analyses.  相似文献

Treatment of HgCl(2) with 2-LiC(6)H(4)PPh(2) gives [Hg(2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)] (1), whose phosphorus atoms take up oxygen, sulfur, and borane to give the compounds [Hg[2-C(6)H(4)P(X)Ph(2)](2)] [ X = O (3), S (4), and BH(3) (5)], respectively. Compound 1 functions as a bidentate ligand of wide, variable bite angle that can span either cis or trans coordination sites in a planar complex. Representative complexes include [HgX(2) x 1] [X = Cl (6a), Br (6b)], cis-[PtX(2) x 1] [X = Cl (cis-7), Me (9), Ph (10)], and trans-[MX(2) x 1] [X = Cl, M = Pt (trans-7), Pd (8), Ni (11); X = NCS, M = Ni (13)] in which the central metal ions are in either tetrahedral (6a,b) or planar (7-11, 13) coordination. The trans disposition of 1 in complexes trans-7, 8, and 11 imposes close metal-mercury contacts [2.8339(7), 2.8797(8), and 2.756(8) A, respectively] that are suggestive of a donor-acceptor interaction, M --> Hg. Prolonged heating of 1 with [PtCl(2)(cod)] gives the binuclear cyclometalated complex [(eta(2)-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))Pt(mu-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)HgCl] (14) from which the salt [(eta(2)-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))Pt(mu-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)Hg]PF(6) (15) is derived by treatment with AgPF(6). In 14 and 15, the mu-C(6)H(4)PPh(2) groups adopt a head-to-tail arrangement, and the Pt-Hg separation in 14, 3.1335(5) A, is in the range expected for a weak metallophilic interaction. A similar arrangement of bridging groups is found in [Cl((n)Bu(3)P)Pd(mu-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)HgCl] (16), which is formed by heating 1 with [PdCl(2)(P(n)()Bu(3))(2)]. Reaction of 1 with [Pd(dba)(2)] [dba = dibenzylideneacetone] at room temperature gives [Pd(1)(2)] (19) which, in air, forms a trigonal planar palladium(0) complex 20 containing bidentate 1 and the monodentate phosphine-phosphine oxide ligand [Hg(2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))[2-C(6)H(4)P(O)Ph(2)]]. On heating, 19 eliminates Pd and Hg, and the C-C coupled product 2-Ph(2)PC(6)H(4)C(6)H(4)PPh(2)-2 (18) is formed by reductive elimination. In contrast, 1 reacts with platinum(0) complexes to give a bis(aryl)platinum(II) species formulated as [Pt(eta(1)-C-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(eta(2)-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(eta(1)-P-1)]. The ligands KS(2)CN(Bz)CH(2)CH(2)N(Bz)CS(2)K (K(2)L(1)), N(CH(2)CH(2)N(Me)CS(2)Na)(3) (Na(3)L(2)), and the new chelates {(CH(2)CH(2))NCS(2)Na}(3) (Na(3)L(3)) and {CH(2)CH(2)N(CS(2)Na)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)NCS(2)Na}(2) (Na(4)L(4)), react with the gold(I) complexes [ClAu(PR(3))] (R = Me, Ph, Cy) and [ClAu(IDip)] to yield di-, tri-and tetragold compounds. Larger metal units can also be coordinated by the longer, flexible linker, K(2)L(1). Thus two equivalents of cis-[PtCl(2)(PEt(3))(2)] react with K(2)L(1) in the presence of NH(4)PF(6) to yield the bimetallic complex [L(1){Pt(PEt(3))(2)}(2)](PF(6))(2). The compounds [NiCl(2)(dppp)] and [MCl(2)(dppf)] (M = Ni, Pd, Pt; dppp = 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane, dppf = 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene) also yield the dications, [L(1){Ni(dppp)}(2)](2+) and [L(1){Ni(dppf)}(2)](2+) in an analogous fashion. In the same manner, reaction between [(L'(2))(AuCl)(2)] (L'(2) = dppm, dppf; dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) and KS(2)CN(Bz)CH(2)CH(2)N(Bz)CS(2)K yield [L(1){Au(2)(L'(2))}(2)]. The molecular structures of [L(1){M(dppf)}(2)](PF(6))(2) (M = Ni, Pd) and [L(1){Au(PR(3))}(2)] (R = Me, Ph) are reported.  相似文献

The reaction between Na, t BuPCl 2 , and PCl 3 in thf gives Na[ cyclo -( t Bu 4 P 5 )] ( 1 ). 1 reacts with PCl 3 to yield ( cyclo - t Bu 3 P 4 ) t BuPCl ( 2 ), and with a proton source, such as HCl, NH 4 Cl, or t BuCl, to give cyclo - t Bu 4 P 5 H ( 3 ). Reaction of [Bu(4)N](4)[H(3)PW(11)O(39)] with [Re(NPh)Cl(3)(PPh(3))(2)], in acetonitrile and in the presence of NEt(3), provided the first Keggin-type organoimido derivative [Bu(4)N](4)[PW(11)O(39)(ReNPh)] (Ph = C(6)H(5)) (1). The functionalization was clearly demonstrated by various techniques including (1)H and (14)N NMR, electrochemistry, and ESI mass spectrometry. Conditions for the formation of 1 are also discussed.  相似文献

N-[2-P(i-Pr)(2)-4-methylphenyl](2)(-) (PNP) pincer complexes of tin(IV) and tin(II), [(PNP)SnCl(3)] (2) and [(PNP)SnN(SiMe(3))(2)] (3), respectively, were prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction, solution and solid state NMR spectroscopy, and (119)Sn M?ssbauer spectroscopy. Furthermore, (119)Sn cross polarization magic angle spinning NMR spectroscopic data of [Sn(NMe(2))(2)](2) are reported. Compound 2 is surprisingly stable toward air, but attempts to substitute chloride ligands caused decomposition.  相似文献
