光纤中基于互相位调制效应的超短光脉冲对的产生   总被引:1,自引:4,他引:1  
提出一种在单模光纤正常色散区由连续波产生超短光脉冲对的新方法.即让连续波和一个波长位于光纤负色散区的高阶孤子在光纤中同时传输,互相位调制效应和群速度色散效应的互相作用能使连续波演化成超短光脉冲对.本文还通过计算机模拟,对该方法进行了全面的考察和分析.结果表明,此方法实用且效果较好.  相似文献

In recent years, spatial self-phase modulation (SSPM) with two-dimensional (2D) materials has attracted the attention of many researchers as an emerging and ubiquitous nonlinear optical effect. In this review, the state of the art of 2D material-based SSPM is summarized. SSPM measures or tunes the nonlinearity of 2D materials, and it is also an effective approach to study the band structure of 2D materials. Several modified forms of SSPM, such as high-order, white-light-excited, vector field excited, and optically nonlinearly enhanced SSPM are also presented. Subsequently, the physical origin of the SSPM formation mechanism is compared and analyzed. Furthermore, the applications of SSPM with 2D materials, including passive photonic devices, generation of Bessel beams, and identifying the mode of the orbital angular momentum, are listed. Finally, several urgent problems of the SSPM with 2D materials, potential applications, and prospects for future development are presented.  相似文献

针对强度调制直接检测波分复用系统研究了抽运探测波结构中自相位调制和交叉相位调制共同作用下的光信号传输,给出了确定任意抽运信号下的探测波时域波形及强度调制率的理论解析方法,分析了信道间隔、传输速率对于交叉相位调制的影响,发现抽运波自相位调制的作用主要体现在使探测波时域强度调制率有所增大,解析结果和数值仿真能较好地吻合。  相似文献

Abstract

Recently, much attention has been given to the influence of the relaxation process of the non-linear response, because the usual assumption of instantaneous non-linear response fails for ultra-short pulses, and additional contributions coming from non-linear dispersion and delayed non-linearity have to be taken into account. This article presents a numerical analysis of the symmetric planar and asymmetric planar three-core non-linear directional fiber couplers operating with a soliton pulse, where effects of both delayed and instantaneous non-linear Kerr responses are analyzed for implementation of an all-optical half-adder. To implement this all-optical half-adder, eight configurations were analyzed for the non-linear directional fiber coupler, with two symmetric and six asymmetric configurations. The half-adder is the key building block for many digital processing functions, such as shift register, binary counter, and serial parallel data converters. The optical coupler is an important component for applications in optical-fiber telecommunication systems and all integrated optical circuit because of its very high switching speeds. In this numerical simulation, the symmetric/asymmetric planar presents a structure with three cores in a parallel equidistant arrangement, three logical inputs, and two output energy. To prove the effectiveness of the theoretical model for generation of the all-optical half-adder, the best phase to be applied to the control pulse was sought, and a study was done of the extinction ratio level as a function of the Δ > parameter, the normalized time duration, and the Sum and Carry outputs of the (symmetric planar/asymmetric planar) non-linear directional fiber coupler. In this article, the interest is in transmission characteristics, extinction ratio level, normalized time duration, and pulse evolution along the non-linear directional fiber coupler. To compare the performance of the all-optical half-adders, the figure of merit of the logic gates was used. All results were obtained numerically, considering a simple model for generation of an all-optical half-adder.  相似文献

Previous studies on modulation instabilities(MIs) in birefringent optical fibers focus on the ordinary linearly and circularly ones. This paper reports an analysis of MIs in the general elliptically birefringent fibers with the emphasis on investigating the effects of ellipticity angle(0? ≤θ≤ 90?). Both symmetric and antisymmetric CW states are considered. In the anomalous dispersion regime, for the symmetric(antisymmetric) CW states, we show that MI gain increases dramatically(reduces first and then enhances greatly) as the increment of θ. In the normal dispersion regime, for the both CW states, the distinctive feature is that the gain of the MI bands reduces first, vanishes at θ = 45?,reappears across this ellipticity angle, and quickly increases after then.  相似文献

基于小信号开关增益原理,采用抽运光-探测波法,利用SLD(超辐射激光二极管)作为宽带小信号探测光源,快速测量出了标准单模光纤(G.652)的频移为0.5~20 THz内的喇曼增益系数,测量结果和文献中已有的值基本吻合,所测得的光纤喇曼增益系数可用于光纤喇曼放大器的理论和实验研究,该方法同样可以对其他类型光纤的喇曼增益系数进行测量.  相似文献

由基本物理过程出发,导出了数字或模拟强度调制光通信系统中,包含光纤损耗,色散和自相位调制综合作用下的光功率频域传递函数,由此得到了任意功率波形在传输过程中的演化表达式及各项的物理意义,结果表明,自相位调制导致的功率变化在低频部分与调制频率的平方成正比,在高频部分则与调制频率的平方的正弦成正比。解析公式与数值模拟结果在小调制信号下相符得很好,特别适用于计算非线性效应对系统噪声的影响以及诸如双边带和单边带微波调制光通信系统等情况;在诸如非归零码的大调制信号下,本文公式仍能正确地表示传输后的波形,对系统设计和分析有指导意义。  相似文献

研究了色散缓变光纤中飞秒光脉冲的调制不稳定性 ,发现当色散缓变光纤的色散参量满足一定关系式时 ,增益谱的谱宽最宽 ,获得了增益谱的表达式 ;三阶色散对调制不稳定性不起作用 ;自变陡效应使增益谱的谱宽变窄 ,振幅的增长速度减漫 ;拉曼效应改变了调制不稳定性的产生区域。  相似文献

调制度测量轮廓术是一种采用垂直测量方式的三维面形测量方法,可以测量表面有剧烈变化区域的复杂物体。提出了一种基于调制度测量轮廓术测量系统的标定方法,其纵向标定是利用几个相互平行的标定平面建立与CCD像面各像素点对应的测量高度与实际高度之间的映射关系,并利用映射关系确定每一像素点对应的映射关系系数,然后建立映射关系系数查找表,存人测量系统中,完成纵向标定。首先分析了测量系统的误差来源,然后给出了标定方法和标定过程,最后给出了实测结果。结果表明,利用提出的系统标定方法可以有效消除调制度测量轮廓术测量系统误差,显著地提高了系统测量精度。  相似文献

根据光外差检测原理,分析得到干涉测量适用于信号光强小于参考光强的探测,直接测量适用于信号光强大于参考光强的探测的结论。利用自制的全光纤马赫-曾德尔干涉仪系统,对位移信号进行了测量。实验结果表明:当位移信号较小时,干涉测量的灵敏度分别为62.068μW/mm和9.90mV/mm,而非干涉测量的灵敏度分别为4.30μW/mm和0.35mV/mm;当位移信号较大时,干涉测量的灵敏度分别为2.643mV/mm和0.055mV/mm,非干涉测量的灵敏度分别为12.326mV/mm和4.194mV/mm,测量结果与分析得到的结论一致。对于光纤干涉仪强度调制检测的应用具有参考价值。  相似文献

A phase-shifting point diffraction interferometer (PS/PDI) with point sources of two single mode optical fibers has been developed, which will be appropriate for the surface figure measurement of large aperture optics on a sub-nanometer scale. To reduce the measurement error factors, a fiber optic plate (FOP) is used as a projection plane for interference pattern. Errors caused by imperfection of optical alignment, such as position of point sources and tilt of FOP, are minimized by analyzing the measured phase data with an original method. Measurement accuracy in the PS/ PDI is estimated with the interference pattern produced by the two optical fiber sources. If inhomogeneity of the FOP and a systematic error of the PS/PDI are eliminated, the measurement accuracy of the present system is estimated to be less than 4nm P-V and 0.7nm rms, respectively, at a measurement wavelength of 632.8 nm.  相似文献

开发出一种高性能保偏光纤的制造工艺,并制备出包层直径为80μm的细径高性能保偏光纤。试验表明:该光纤具有优良的全温(-50℃~85℃)偏振串音性能,光纤全温串音变化典型值在3.23dB,具有良好抗弯曲性能和良好的端面研磨性。  相似文献

针对雾霾天气日益增多,大气污染气体向颗粒物的转化在加快,研究了一种大范围对其监测的差分吸收光谱方法。差分吸收光谱法可以实时、在线、准确同时获取颗粒物光学特性和大气痕量气体浓度。论文首先分析了双光路差分吸收光学遥感系统获取颗粒物绝对光强的原理,然后研究了基于单光路测量大气吸收谱,在干净天气状况下测量参考光谱,利用能见度数据,在550 nm波段处实现系统校准,计算校准参数,从而获得大气绝对吸收光强,然后解析出大气总的消光系数。再从总的大气消光系数中,去除瑞利散射以及大气痕量气体吸收对消光系数影响后,精确解析出颗粒物消光系数。同时基于差分思想获取大气痕量气体的浓度。最后把该方法应用于外场实验,获取大气颗粒物在350~700 nm波段范围内消光系数和大气中NO2的浓度。研究结果表明颗粒物消光系数的随着波长的增加而减少,符合Angstrom公式。该研究为分析大气气相/粒子非均相化学反应提供有力的技术支持。  相似文献

In this article several characterization techniques developed by the authors for erbium-doped fibers and integrated waveguides are discussed. These techniques are used to obtain the input parameters in the theoretical models that have been developed, too.
