DNA-binding properties of the dinitratobis(phen) cadmium complex [Cd(phen)2(NO3)2] (where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been investigated with absorption titration, fluorescence spectroscopy, viscosity measurement, molecular modeling and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The results indictate DNA-binding mode of the complex to be weak groove binding rather than partial intercalative interaction expected of the extended planar aromatic phen ring. In addition, the DNA cleavage study was carried out by gel electrophoresis experiment. The results showed that the complex both hardly cleaves pBR322 DNA in the absence and present ascorbate. So it is suggested that the formation of cadmium complex can decrease cadmium toxicity to some extents.  相似文献

Surface structures and electronic properties of hypophosphite H2PO2^- on Ni(111) and Ag(111) surfaces were investigated by means of density functional theory at B3LYP/6-31 + +G(d,p) level. The most stable structure was that in which the H2PO2^- adsorbs with its two P--O bonds faced to the substrate surface. The results of the Mulliken population analysis showed that because of the subtle difference of electron configuration, the adsorption energy was larger on the Ni surface than on the Ag surface, and the amounts of both donation and back donation were larger on the Ni(111) surface than on the Ag(111) surface. There were more negative Mulliken charge transfer from H2PO2^- to substrate clusters on Ni surface than on Ag surface and more positive Mulliken charges on P atom in Ni4H2PO2^- than in Ag4H2PO2^-, which means that P atom in Ni4H2PO2^- is easily attacked by a nucleophile such as OH . Thus, H2PO2^- is more easily oxidated on Ni(111) surface than on Ag(111) suface. These results indicated that the silver surface is inactive for the oxidation reaction of the hypophosphite anion.  相似文献

This paper presents a Density Functional or Time Dependent Density Functional (DFT/TDDFT) study of the molecular and electronic structures, optical absorption and emission spectra of three linkage isomers: bis(isothiocyanato-S)(2,2^1-bipyridyl) platinum(II) ([Pt(SCN)2(bpy)]), (isothiocyanato-S)(thiocyanato-N)-(2,2^1-bipy- ridyl) platinum(II) ([Pt(SCN)(NCS)(bpy)]), and bis(thiocyanato-N)(2,2^1)-bipyridyl)platinum(II) ([Pt(NCS)2(bpy)]), in which different coordination ligands based on the N- and S-coordination of the thiocyanato ligands control the luminescent color. The electronic structures were studied using the B3LYP functional. Optimized geometries Were compared to the experimentally observed structures. TDDFT calculation was carded out to investigate the excited singlet and triplet states. Calculations have been performed both in vacuo and in solvents, using a polarized continuum model (PCM) to account for solute-solvent interactions. Inclusion of the solvent led to a significant energy change, and as a consequence, the computed spectrum calculated in the presence of the solvent was in good agree- ment with the experimental determinations. The first two absorptions were found to originate from mixed plati- num-SCN (or NSC) to bipyridyl-n* transitions rather than pure metal-to-ligand-charge-transfer (MLCT) transitions, whereas the higher-energy bands arose from intraligand n→π* transitions. The stretching frequencies of C≡N have been calculated both in the ground and excited states, which are relative to the charge transition during the excitation. In addition, different sizes of basis sets were also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

The adsorption and self-assembly of isocyanide derivatives on Au(111) surface were investigated by density functional theory (DFF) and molecular dynamics simulation. The calculation for phenyl isocyanide by DFT was based on cluster and slab models. The self-assembled monolayers of 2-isocyanoazulene and 1,3-diethoxycarbony 1- 2-isocyanoazulene on Au(111) were simulated using Au-C force field parameters developed by us. It was found that the top site was the most preferred position, and the isocyanoazulene and its derivatives could form the ordered face to edge self-assembled monolayer on gold surface indeed, and the molecules stood on the gold surface vertically.  相似文献

Thiophene adsorption on the Rh(111) surfaces has been investigated by density functional theory.The results show that the adsorption at the hollow and bridge sites is the most stable.The molecular plane of the thiophene ring is distorted,the C=C bond is stretched to 1.448  and the C-C bond is shortened to 1.390.The C-H bonds tilt 22~42oaway from the surface.The calculated adsorption geometries are in reasonable agreement with population analysis and density of states.The thiophene molecule obtains 0.74 electrons,reflecting the interaction between the lone pair of sulfur and the d-orbitals of metal.The reaction paths and transition states for desulfurization of the molecule have been investigated.The bridge adsorption structure of thiophene leads to a thiol via an activated reaction with an energetic barrier of 0.30 eV.This second step is slightly difficult,and dissociation into a C4H4 fragment and a sulfur atom is possible,with an energetic barrier of 0.40 eV.  相似文献

The stable acetone molecule clusters have been studied by using Becke's threeparameter (B3LYP) density functional theory (DFT) with standard 6-31G(d) basis set. The calculated results show that the optimal structures of acetone clusters are cyclic and the cycles become larger and larger with the increase of cluster size. The strongest vibration peaks for neutral clusters are C=O stretching vibration. The C=O stretching peaks of cyclic acetone clusters split into double ones when n≥3, the frequencies are red-shifted and corresponding intensifies increase with the increase of cluster Size.  相似文献

运用密度泛函理论, 在B3LYP/6-31G*水平上, 对叠氮化合物C6H6-n(N3)n(n=1~6)进行理论计算, 并对所得到的几何结构进行了振动频率分析. 计算结果表明, 这些化合物是热力学稳定的. 基于自然键轨道理论, 分析了稳定结构的电荷分布及成键情况. 在不破坏苯环和叠氮基的原则下, 设计等键反应计算了这些化合物的生成热, 结果表明, 标题化合物的生成热都很高, 且随着叠氮基数目的增加而线性增大.  相似文献

用密度泛函理论(DFT)的B3LYP方法, 在6-31G*水平上对(BCO)+n(n=1-12)团簇的几何结构、电子结构、振动频率等性质进行了理论研究. 结果表明, (BCO)+n团簇的基态结构均为羰基端配位(μ1-CO)结构, 且含三元环和五元环数目越多或四元环和六元环的数目越少, 相应的结构越稳定. 能量分析得到, n 为奇数的(BCO)+n团簇比n为偶数的稳定.  相似文献

运用HF/3-21G方法和密度泛函理论(DFT)的B3LYP/6-31G*方法, 对羰基硼化合物(BCO)n(n=1~12)的各种可能结构进行了优化, 对在B3LYP/6-31G*水平上得到的几何构型、电子态、结合能、振动频率、核独立化学位移(NICS)、能量二次差分和热力学性质进行了理论研究, 得到了(BCO)n(n=1~12)结构的稳定性信息. 十二种基态结构都是端配位(μ1-CO), (BCO)n(n=1~3, 5, 6) 的基态是线型或平面结构, (BCO)n(n=4, 7~12)的基态是笼状结构; B—C平均键能呈现奇偶交替现象, 偶数的结构比奇数稳定; 能量二次差分得到同样的结论;羰基的振动频率与实验值非常吻合; 热力学性质的研究对实验具有重要的指导意义.  相似文献

运用密度泛函理论(DFT)的B3LYP/6-31G*方法, 对羰基硼化合物B2n(CO)n (n=1~6)各种可能的结构进行了优化,对它们的几何构型、电子态、振动频率、核独立化学位移(NICS)和B2CO的分子轨道进行了理论研究, 得到了B2n(CO)n (n=1~6)结构的稳定性信息. 在它们的基态结构中, 羰基的配位方式是端配位(μ1-CO), B2n(CO)n (n=1~5)的基态构型是线形或平面结构, B12(CO)6的基态构型则较为复杂. B2n(CO)n (n=1~3)的基态是三重态, B2n(CO)n (n=4~6)的基态是单重态. 振动频率和轨道的研究为实验提供了重要的理论依据.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论(DFT)的B3LYP方法,在6-31G*和6-311+G(3df)水平上对CnB(n=1~6)团簇及其阴离子和阳离子的几何构型和电子结构进行了优化和振动频率计算.得到了CnB(n=1~6)团簇的电离能,绝热电子亲合势以及CnBδ(δ=0,±1)团簇的能隙.结果表明CnB(n=1~6)团簇的基态构型均为线形,这与等电子的Cn簇合物的结构是一致的; CnB(n=1~6)团簇的基态构型中,除C2B为不对称的三角形,C6B为具有C2v对称性的环状结构外,其余均为线形结构.阳离子团簇中n=2、3、6的基态结构具有C2v对称性外,其它几个均为线形结构.从几何参数和振动频率上发现,采用密度泛函B3LYP方法在6-311+G(3df)和6-31G*两种基组上计算得到的键长参数和振动频率非常接近,说明B3LYP方法在计算CnB簇合物结构参数上对于基组的选择是不太敏感的.通过对CnB(n=1~6)的光电子能谱性质的研究发现,C4B容易获得一个电子形成阴离子团簇,但失去一个电子是很困难的,这与实验上观测到的结果非常吻合.  相似文献

用密度泛函理论(DFT)的B3LYP方法, 对Pdn(n=1-7)团簇的几何结构、振动频率及其与甲烷分子间的相互作用进行了理论研究. 结果表明, 随着Pd原子数增多, 团簇结构对团簇大小的依赖性减弱, 结构参数向金属晶体趋近. 在Pdn(n=1-7)团簇上, 甲烷的表面吸附作用较弱. Pd2CH4中, 甲烷受到两个Pd原子的活化作用, 活化程度增强, 吸附能增大. 在PdnCH4 (n=1, 3-7)体系中, 甲烷的吸附能随着团簇模型的增大而减小, 趋近于其在金属晶面上的吸附能.  相似文献

A nonlocal density functional theory (DFT) method has been applied to the calculations on optimized geometry, Mulliken atomic net charges and interatomic Mulliken bond orders as well as total bonding energies (E) in the binary transition metal carbonyl anions with different reduced states [M(CO)n]z (M=Cr, n=5, 4, 3, z=2, 4, 6; M=Mn, n=5, 4, 3, z=1, 3, 5; M=Fe, n=4, 3, 2, z=2, 4, 6; M=Co, n=4, 3, 2, z=1, 3, 5). For comparison of relative stability, a relative stabilization energy D is defined as D=E([M(CO)n]z)-nE(CO). The calculated C-O distances are lengthened monotonously with the increase of the anionic charge, but the M-C distances are significantly lengthened only in the higher reduced states. The relative stabilization energy calculated is a considerable negative value in the lower reduced states, but a larger positive value in the higher reduced states. The DFT calculations show that with the increase of the anionic charge, the Mulliken net charges on the M, C, and O atoms all increase, however, an excess of the anionic charge is mainly located at the central metal atom. The calculated C-O Mulliken bond orders decrease consistently with the increase of the anionic charge, but the M-C bond orders exhibit an irregular behavior. However, the total bond orders calculated clearly explain the higher reduced states to be considerably unstable. From analysis of the calculated results, it is deduced that the stability of the binary transition metal carbonyl anions [M(CO)n]z studied are associated with the coordination number n and the anionic charge z, further, it is possible for the anions studied to be stable if nz, conversely, it is impossible when n<z.  相似文献

Using density functional theory (DFT) method with 6-31G* basis set, we have carried out the optimizing calculation of geometry, vibrational frequency and thermodynamical stability for(AIN)n+ and (AIN)n- (n =1-15) clusters. Moreover, their ionic potential (IP) and electron affinity(EA) were discussed. The results show that the electrical charge condition of the cluster has a relatively great impact on the structure of the cluster and with the increase of n, this kind of impactis reduced gradually. There are no AI-AI and N-N bonds in the stable structure of (AIN)n+ or (AIN)n-, and the AI-N bond is the sole bond type. The magic number regularity of (AIN)n+, and (AIN)n- is consistent with that for (AIN)n, indicating that the structure with even n such as 2, 4,6, … is more stable. In addition, (AIN)10 has the maximal ionization power (9.14 eV) and the minimal electron affinity energy (0.19 eV), which manifests that (AIN)10 is more stable than other clusters.  相似文献

利用从头算MP2方法和密度泛函理论B3LYP和B3PW91方法, 研究了杂硼原子簇XB6+ (X=C, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb)的结构、稳定性及化学键合情况. 对C, Si, Ge, B使用6-311+G(d)基组, 对Sn和Pb使用LANL2DZ赝势基组. 研究结果表明, 具有Cs对称性的假平面XB6+ (X=C, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb)结构是势能面上的全域极小点, 其稳定性要高于C6v对称性的锥形结构和C2对称性的假锥形结构. 在B3LYP水平上, 对这些异构体的势能面的极小点进行了自然键轨道(NBO)的分析; 对最稳定构型的最高占据分子轨道(HOMO)和最低空轨道(LUMO)能级差、分子轨道(MO)和核独立化学位移(NICS)进行了计算和讨论. 分析了杂原子和硼原子间、相邻硼原子间的键合情况, 讨论了最稳定构型的芳香性质.  相似文献
